Driver driving reckless
One of your Eldo busses HR5788GP driving on N1 from Johannesburg to Kroonstad on 19 September at 20h06 was driving very reckless. Driver was passing cars with oncoming traffic on solid white line. It is the part where one part is single lane for 1km and other side has two lanes for 1km. we were infront of your bus and had to drive slower because of 2 car infront of us that was driving slow. But we couldn't pass the cars because of the single lane and the solid white line. Your driver ignore the white line and oncoming traffic from the double lane and passes us and the other 2 cars infront of us. oncoming trucks and cars was flashing and had to go to the other lane and he still ignore it. Driver put his passengers and other cars in danger. I will never use of recommend someone to use Eldo coaches if your drivers drive like that. Unfortunately I wasn't in time to get my cellphone out to record the incident.
Desired outcome: I hope you fire that driver. He was reckless. I can't believe that drivers like that are driving your busses.
I want my refund of R852
I live in Gauteng and my kids are in KZN until December. I booked a bus for Friday 9th September 19:35 after not seeing them for 2 weeks. I waited across Southgate Mall from 19:00 as they tell I to arrive earlier. Loadshedding started at 20:00 so we stood in the dark. I eventually called the office at 20:50 and was told the bus is still on its way to you. I said we paid, you guys are not doing us a favor. He said there is nothing he can do. I asked why they couldn't message us since they have our numbers. He said we actually don't have it and then cut the call. After that they did not answer the phone. Eventually at 23:35, 3 hours after the bus should have arrived, we decided to leave. I had to book an Uber which cost me R162. So in essence I stood on my feet for 3.5 hours straight, in the dark, almost got robbed as this guy came and stood right in front of me but Thank God there were 3 other guys waiting as well and they chased him away and then had to spend more money to get back home. My total trip including Uber cost R852. And the worst part of it all was my childrens dissapointment when I told them that I couldn't come see them😭. When I got home I canceled my return ticket for Sunday because how would I return from KZN if you never took me. I then received an email confirming my cancelation and that R0. 00 was refunded into my account. I just want my money back so I can book with someone that will render the service they are paid for. They are stealing from a single mother who is 600km away from her children and trusted and paid them to take her to visit her children. I am so broken right now. I just want my money back
Eldor bad service
I booked 3 one way tickets from cape town to george on the 26th August 2022.we were suppose to book in 30min before and departure time was suppose to 18h15.I am suffering from a muscle problem and had to stand in line from 18h40 till 19h00.Eventually a shuttle arrived and took us to Bellville to do a switch on transport.We left Cape town an hour late.We sat in a bus with no ventilation it felt like the heaters were on.I couldn't breath and my muscles pulled stiff. Imagine a bus filled with passengers and no ventilation whatsoever.People sneezing and coughing.I had to arrange another pick up for us for 02h00 middle of night as we lost out 1st arranged transport.Really this is unexceptable and I will not recommend Eldor

Good morning,
It is with great dismay that I draft this email.
A bus delay of a few minutes is acceptable but making customers wait over 3 hours? This is absolutely unacceptable.
Bare in mind that there was a cold front and elderly, babies and pregnant woman had to sit on cold uncomfortable chairs for 3hours just before a 6hour bus ride. Pathetic!
I would like to know what is your plan moving forward with regards to this matter..
I am highly dissatisfied and annoyed by such poor customer service!
Is this the service that Mohsin Moolla aims to deliver?
The most tragic part is I would have to use this bus service to return to jhb.
As a professional working for a service provider and I'm confident to say that we would definitely never be in a position to make our valued customers feel this way!
I await a response on what is going to happen moving forward.

Firstly the bus was late for pickup
When I entered the buss there was this horrible smell of urine which we have to bare for hours the floors wer dirty this buss was not clean at all bones were in the floor I even felt dirty to sit on the seats even to snapn somthing I just couldn't because of that horrible smell we paying money atleast have the buss clean hygiene is so important but my personal opinion I will not advise anyone to take this buss
Desired outcome: I would like a refund as this was thee most horrible trip ever that smell was just too much
Very very extremely Poor Service
We had a trip on Friday 1.72022 from park Station to Durban, a bus was suppose to depart 08H15am and guess what, there was no bus and we were told the bus mistakenly pass Johannesburg to centurion and will be by park station in an Hour but noo.. It Arrived 10h30am and, Literally we where 3 full hours late, will never book again. And will not recommend to anyone 😡😡

These busses really need proper maintenance done or don't run them ...customer service is number 1 ...they really need to complete unsolved cases.

The busc arrived 2 hours late , broke down on the way it It took 8 hours just for the Mechanic to arrive. He didn't even fix it , I arrived at my destination the following day 🙄
The busses used are unreliable and dangerous
My mom traveled from Johannesburg on Sunday morning, the bus was suppose to be at 7:30 am but was delayed until 9 am, the bus was going to Pietermaritzburg /Durban, the bus broke down 3 times, we were unable to get a hold of anyone from the bus company, my mom was traveling alone and her battery died we were scared to death, the passengers had to stand on the road as the bus was smoking, it was freezing cold and extremely dangerous, instead of sending another bus they kept sending mechanics which only helped for a short distance! My mom only got home 12 midnight! This is really ridiculous and we should get a refund! My uncle also left Jhb on Tuesday morning at 7:30 with the same issue, he reached 7:30 the next morning😡😡😡😡we had a death in the family hence my family we traveling to Jhb, and Eldo coaches just made our lives even more stressful, I would not recommend this bus to anyone!

i bought tickets on nov 2020 for 10 passengers travelling to the eastern cape
we all know covid 19 hit and we travelling was forbidden
i then contacted eldo and was told i would be given my refund

I went yesterday morning to pick up a bus ticket at the Pretoria office and there was no one to help me I went to intercape office to pick up also a bus ticket and came back to eldo coaches a few times and still no one. Now I have lost that ticket . The time was round 9:10 or 9:18 the morning

It was the 25th of may I bought a ticket from Johannesburg to Durban with pick up point at Southgate shopping center I waited at the designated area from 19:20 till 21:00 the bus was supposed to arrive at 7:35 I never received any communication, I tried calling numerous times. Even when I took the next bus home, when I arrived at your Durban offices they were not able to help me they tried calling back to JHB but no one answered. I booked a trip from pietermaritzburg to Pretoria from 22:30 to 07:39 with eldo coaches bus. So 1st the bus arrived @ 23:00 so we left pmb @23:15 then left and the bus got stuck at Herrismith and we were asked to move to other bus but when we get inside the bus was full so had to stand from herrismith to Pretoria. This was a nightmare..I travel long distance every month using eldos n I hv never come across such a nightmare but tonight will be my last trip with eldo. This shows that eldos does not take their customer serious.

Original booking was for the 15th of December 2021, it was cancelled on time and all relevant documents were submitted to eldo coaches, but up until today I have not received my refund and I have made various follow ups with no response. The calls I make and e-mail I sent goes unanswered. Today it's the 11of May 2022, I want my refund which is for the amount of R3500. Reference number AB5U3N. This is totally unacceptable and if Eldo coaches does not want to refund my money this must be communicated so that further action can be taken.

I requested a refund on the 12th of Jan 2022, it is now the 4th of May 2022 and I have not received my refund as yet. I bought 2 return tickets for myself and my mom amounting to R1280
They keep on telling me about a backlog.This is really frustrating and unfair.I would never recommend anyone to use Eldo Coaches, worst service ever.
They also do not respond to my emails. The customer care line agents told me that I might have to wait longer and that is highly unacceptable.

Cockroaches, aircon and general service
I travelled from Uitenhage to Pretoria. The bus was full of cockroaches walking up amd down the aisles on the windows. Very creepy.
When the bus driver was told about it, he said what is he supposed to do about it.
The airconditioner wasnt switched on the whole route, I was burning.
Driver irritable and rude.
Bus arrived 15 min for pickup.
Not a good service for such a long journey. Never again.

My speaker box got left behind on the bus
I need to know how I can get my speaker box back if at all possible. Got off the bus this morning from Upington to Johannesburg at approximately 5:30am

We booked a bus Ticket on the 30th January 2022, we never traveled and asked for a refund. All necessary documents were submitted on the 17th of February 2022 and were given a 21 days waiting period which ended on the 18th March 2022 and still no refund, no communication whatsoever. Another communication sent to Finance Supervisor on the 30th March as follow up but still nothing and today on the 20th April 2022 we have been waiting for an hour but no assistance whatsoever, we are given a run around. No communication means to Management and any other superiors is allowed.

I Have requested a refund since the 18th of December for booking. I have cancelled. I have sent all the required documents already on the 18th at the Lenasia office and was told I will receive my refund in 21 days.
