Stolen luggage on the bus
I lodged a complained regarding my bag that was stolen on the 3rd March 2021 @16:30, it was coming from Mthatha to Johannesburg.
In Kokstad driver advised us to get off for bathroom while he is going to fill up petrol, when he came back he told us that there are some missing bags stolen because carrier was not locked.
We were advised to open a complaint, was attended by Lloyd Chetty . But he ignored me everyt ime, I am doing follow up with him.

I booked a ticket Travelstart from Queenstown to Cape on the 25th to travel on the 27th but something beyond my Control happed in the early hours of the 26th and had to cancel my trip unfortunately, I sent a message to cancel with Travelstart and resent the 26th 27th and 28th when I didn't get response and only then was I told call the bus company self which I did and was told i should have called a day before departure which I did to the booking company Travelstart I wasn't aware i should call the bus company directly there's, could this booking be cancelled and my fare be refunded please.

Refund not received after 5 months
On the 29th of December 2020 I booked 2 return tickets from Johannesburg to December for myself and my friend (reference number B52VKK21) for the 21st of January 2021 and 24th January 2021, due to a family emergency we could no longer travel and asked our trip dates be moved to April but we were told that they can not move the dates therefore we will be charged a cancellation fee of 200 and get a refund.
I then agreed to this term and was informed that refunds take 7-21 working days and the pay out will be the next Thursday after 21 days.
It has been 5 months now and I have not received my refund, I have called, emailed, sent Whatsapp messages and comments on their Facebook page and they still have not given me my money.
I just want my money back so I Never get to deal with their terrible service ever again.

I bought 3 tickets from Eldo now I want to cancell
I bought 3 tickets from Eldo via shoprite now I wnat to cancell then I am told that I should call and tries to call and my calls were never answered until the day .On the 8th of November I bought 3 tickets and the bus left us at park station with my kids and never got any help when instead I was treated like a trash no one ever cared about us not knowing even the place.Even now no one is picking up calls then how do we cancell in this case because simingle you don't have contact center

On Friday, 4th December 2020 I booked a 21:00 but it came an hour late and the staff was rude, one the staff member refused me entry and dragged me out of the bus like someone who didn't pay because I wanted to go in with my hand luggage. 3 buses left me and my daughter because of the inconvenience of the staff. I don't understand why men are this abusive even at their workplace and I believe no one should touch me in this time of covid 19 attacking us.

Jhb to dbn on the 22h00 bus, got there via and uber, I had a small box and a handbag, the guy loading the luggage says must pay for the box.. At this time I only had about r50 in my pocket, so I asked how much.. He says r100... N this guy is demanding r100 from me after me telling him I only have r50.. It was either I pay the r100 or I can't get on the bus according to him... Hw can u leave a passenger stranded at 22h00 in the night at park station with no money who already paid for his bus ticket which states your are allowed to carry 20kgs luggage or so, another passenger saw what was happening and lent me the money to pay him, I even told the guy loading the luggage that I will get the money from the people that are picking me up from dbn and I will give it to him... He still denied. I didnt get any receipt for the r100... Worst experience ever!... And I do not recommend anyone take these buses

We took a bus from Queenston on the 29 July 2021 the bus left after 7pm (19hrs). The first passenger to get off the bus was suppose to get off at Aliwal North, but the driver did not announce that we were there
and i s there anyone getting off so the passenger had to get some after in the dark because he missed his stop. The bus proceeded passing garages and the driver did not give passengers time or announce the people can get off the bus to release themselves. After 5hours on the bus we arrived in Bloemfontein and still the driver did not announce, there were passengers who got in and passing the stop at Bloemfontein the driver stop at the engen garage and he went out and still he said nothing people got off the bus and went to the toilets, one of the passengers said the driver said he was going to leave us must get in the bus, remember almost every body who got the bus from Queenston got off the bus. While we were busy relieving ourselves the bus left us and we were not even aware. When we went to get back to the bus the bus has left us we were more than ten our bag luggage was left in the bus. We walk about 500 km to get to the bus were it has stopped, . We contributed the driver why he left us behind he told us that the bus was not stopping for us to go wherever we wanted to go it has stopped because he wanted to pour water In the bus. He was rude to us we told him that we could not use the toilet in the bus as it was not clean and it does not flush. Sone of us take medication that ma Ka es us to relieve ourselves timeously. The time was 12 midnight. When we got into the bus and the bus now was in motion called someone joking about what happened and LL sighing about it. Us this how passengers are to be treated. We told him that we took a bus on Monday the 26 from Pretoria to Queenstown and the driver who was driving that bus was announcing at each and every stop and we were given time to go to the toilets.
These are the things that make passengers not to be using service that are not conducive to them. The worst thing the driver is not young he should knowing and understanding how to treat passengers more especially he is on duty yo serve the passenger s.

I'm Patricia Soqele waiting for my refund, it seem you don't refund your costomer as I read or viewed the costomer who are still waiting for their money, this is not fair for your costomers to wait 2 or 6 months for our money if it's like these that means you don't care about us as your customers, if don't refund me give me my ticket back so I use it again for my trip to Cape Town by the 21st March 2020 to 31st March if you don't give back money, your service is soooooo poor you are just after money to be rich, you will answer to God for our tears because we also work hard to make make ends meet n we support your business but you treat us like these, other companies like they do refunds without a hassle.

On the 25th October 2019 I booked 5 tickets with Eldo coaches. One from Kakamas to Jhb for the 12th December 2019 and 4 from Jhb to Kakamas for the 15th December 2019.
The following day 26th October 2019 I called in and cancelled because I found out that a family member was driving here and would pick up my kids. So I called in to cancel the tickets with Eldo Coaches through their call centre. On that telephone conversation I inquired about all the documents I needed for a refund and the agent told me that I just needed my tickets and ID and they would refund me the money if I went to Park Station.
On the 13th December 2019 I went to the Park Station office and asked for my refund. After some time the lady at the help desk informed me that they could not give me the refund as I paid cash but did not have the small white slip with me that indicates I paid cash at Spar. She then informed me that the only other way was to fill in a refund form and asked for my email address so the could email me the form. I also informed the lady that I stay in Kakamas and came all the way for the money and it was unfair as no one told me about the small white slip.
On Saturday 14th of December 2019 I had still not received the refund form and called the call centre again and again was promised that they would email me the refund form. By the 16th December 2019 I had returned to Kakamas and still no refund form had come.
On the 17th December 2019 I was back at work and called the call centre again and begged for the form to be sent. The form was emailed and I filled in all the required details and asked the call centre agent is this all that is required and had they received my email back with all my relevant documentation and the lady told me all was in order and I should receive the payment within 7 working days.
By January the 6th 2020, still no payment had come through. I called the call centre and the agent told me that finance department had just come back from leave and that I will receive the money by Thursday 9th January 2020. Everything was done on their side and was at finance department. By Thursday 9th January 2020 no money was received and called back and I was informed that it was not by finance and they were putting it through now. Also I was informed that Lloyd the supervisor would follow up and call me to let me know the progress. I received no call back
I called back 15 January 2020, and the call centre agent informed me that she has a list of people who will be getting their refund. She looked for me and informed me that I was not on the list. Also that payments were made every Thursday. She can see that a refund of R1980 is due to me but she cant tell me when this refund will be paid.
Till today 19.02.2020 I have not received the amount due to me. I call every week to find out if im on this elusive list for payment and the answer is always the same. Yes we can see we owe you the money. Yes the payment is approved. No you are not on this weeks list for repayment
I just feel this is unfair to me as I have been waiting for this money since October and was given the incorrect information.
Bus did not pick up passenger in Hopetown.

My niece, Juanita Van Niekerk booked a bus ticket (Ticket :ABGF5Q01) from Hopetown to Cape Town on 15 July 2020 departing Hope Town at 21:20, it was confirmed by Pretoria office that the driver passsed Hopetown without picking pasengers that were on the traveling list. This is beyond annoying, my niece was at the garage from 20:00 to 23:30 waiting for the bus that never came in a extreme cold weather of -7 degrees, without any notification from Eldo Coaches and had I not called the Pretoria office at 23:20 she would have stayed the forever. I am super disgusted and need answers.

My son boarded the bus which was supposed to arrive at 9pm from the Midrand Ultra. This bus was supposed to have stopped at North Beach Tropicana hotel as that is what I paid for. My son enquired about what he paid for and the driver just didn't care. I would like to start a petition for Checkers to stop the usage of Eldos as it should not be affiliated to Checkers. I want a full refund. My son boarded the train yesterday night and arrived late this morning.

Eldo Coaches from Pretoria to Durban. The bus did not make it to bosman station we had to catch a connecting bus to midrand. The bus arrived late and we had to change buses. We got into a bus that toilet door couldn't close, the aircon was not working and we arrived 2 hours later than we were supposed to. The biggest mistake was to buy a return ticket. We got to the bus station to wait for a bus for about one hour, my bus ticket was for comfort but I travelled with express. I'm disappointed

Today, the 22 November 2019 at 8:15 am I was driving on Nelson Mandela Boulevard outbound when a ‘Eldo Coaches' bus was driving in the far right hand lane at the top of hospital bend and at speed. The driver then decided, to move across two lanes and in the process crossing a solid white line. The driver either did not bother to check blind spots, or was purposely trying to force me out of my lane. This bus nearly took out both a taxi and myself and then proceeded to give me the finger when I hooted at him to point out that I was in fact next to him before he knocked into me.
This aggressive driving is unacceptable from anyone, let alone a bus that is large, has significant blind spots and is not exactly agile.
This driver is a risk to Eldo Coaches and will sooner or later result in a significant accident. If Eldo Coches does not intervene in this regard, then all I can say is that I really hope you are sued into bankruptcy should anyone be seriously injured or killed as a result of this negligence.
Please Eldo Coaches, teach your drivers to leave on time so take they don't need to rush. Perhaps teach them meditating techniques or something so that they can drive calmly and safely to the benefit of all. And please, teach them to just apologise if they do something wrong instead of escalating aggression.
Pity I didn't have my dash cam in place, because I would be reporting this to the traffic police.
lack of empathy & broken facilities
In an Eldo coaches bus heading to Capetown from Johannesburg today 29/10/19 departure time 19:00hrs.
Asked the driver to turn off the AC as I am travelling with a child and mildly put on the heater so as to not offend the other clients.
Man just looked at me and passed me as though I'm a tree trunk.
Eight now we are sitting in the blistering cold, child is coughing, where do they get these non customer care trained drivers?
Secondly the latrine facility door doesn't close at all.
People here dong their private business with the door that keeps swinging open with all sorts of odors happening.
This us appalling, disgusting.
I will not recommend this bus to anybody.

Our son booked a bus from Pietermaritzburg to Pretoria leaving Pmb at 2pm. The bus only arrived at 2.30. However the bus only left Pietermaritzburg at 3.45. Apparently they were waiting for passengers that had been left behind in Durban. Our son will only arrive in Pretoria around 12 midnight.
Very disappointing. First and last time we will be using Eldos coaches.

Before I went to counter I checked online says r338 inc vat.
Went to counter says r385.
I even should in counter the price from online.
I was told price is price.
I was almost late and I had to buy from counter.

With deep anger, frustration, and great disappointment from a very excessive poor customer service I recieved from your Coach this Morning, to begin with my bus was to depart at 1:30pm from Mthatha rail station to Arrive in Capetown at 6:30am is I write this email 📧 the bus is still roaming in Beaufort West when I ask why the bus is returning back to town the driver tells me that it's company rule to go buy us food at Wimpy I further asked him if who said we are hungry he insisted and said I'm following company rules, mind you we got stuck for 6 hours in a bus at Raaf Reinet when I asked I got advised that the sender of the bus wasn't working if there nobody was communicating with us how so ever, I than pursued further steps and googled customer service complaints they told me that in 45min the bus will arrive I'm telling that 3more hours passed no update from drivers or the customer service until I asked someone else to call again and he was told about 45 min as well I have attached the calls, as for me I have lost a job opportunity in Capetown, I am very disappointed by the kind of service I received I never experienced such a poor service ever in my life.
