They canceled our car policy without telling us because of a "missing paper". They never reached out to us and when we called, they were no help at all. We always paid on time and suddenly they canceled us! How does this even happen? We had a valid policy and they just canceled it because of their mistake/lost paper? They have no customer service and they're closed on weekends and holidays. Save yourself the trouble and choose ANY other insurance company.

I canceld my insurans policy with this company. The next month after it was canceld, they billed me for a month of covrage that I did not want or recieve. I called them and told them about it and it was supose to be taken care of. I did not pay the bill and heard nothing more from them or anyone else. I recently tried to buy a vehicle and was denied credit. Once I received the credit report, it revealed a delinquency for this one month payment.

Electric Insurance insures one of their customers who hit my vehicle. They said it's all that driver's fault and Electric Insurance will cover it. But there's a part that's not available, so Electric said they gotta take back my rental car until it's fixed. Now the car is in the shop, but the rental company keeps calling me, saying they want their car back. But I can't drive my own car 'cause it's still getting fixed. Electric is making me give back the rental car anyways.

I wanna let you know that I sent an email on June 14, 2022 to Electric Insurance Company to cancel my auto and home policies. I wanted it to be effective from June 22, 2022. I even mentioned it in the email below. It seems like they got the message 'cause they closed one policy, but not both. And guess what? They still charged me for both policies. They messed up by not closing both accounts and took $433.89 from my bank on July 6, 2022. They better give me my money back and get in touch with me ASAP. They can't just take money from my checking account anymore without my permission. But they can definitely send back my $433.89 to that account.

I didn't sign up for auto renewal on my policy with Electric Insurance Company and the last invoice clearly said that my policy's coverage won't renew on the effective date if I don't pay the minimum amount due on the due date shown on the invoice. I called Electric Insurance *** on 1/13/2023 and they didn't wanna take care of the issue over the phone. They just told me to send an email to service. Tried to log in to their website and it ain't workin.

Eventually, a different adjuster processed the payment, but there was an error with the part, so a new invoice was sent. This person named *** took almost three weeks to respond and kept asking for more invoices, even though the shop had already sent everything they needed. It made me feel like they were being dishonest. I asked for a manager, but it took *** three days to respond. When they finally did, they left a message saying they wouldn't pay the claim without a parts invoice, even though they had already spoken to the shop and received all the necessary information. I saved them $3k by going to a local shop, but now they won't pay the difference, so I'm out $2k for the vehicle repair. All I want is to be reimbursed for the difference, which is a little over $1k.

So, I had to use my uninsured motorists coverage for medical expenses and car damage. And to make matters worse, Electric Insurance increased my insurance rates. They never sued Garzor or took any action against their business. I called Amica Insurance for a quote and their representative told me that Electric Insurance had me at fault for the 2018 accident. They even sent me some papers. I need to clear this off my records so that my car insurance doesn't stay expensive.

It's like a blame game going back and forth. I've had to fight them at every turn for two months now. First, they didn't provide enough money for the wheels, then the subframe and control arms. That was a month ago. Today, I just found out that they didn't provide enough money for the final paint and body work. Also, the rental they gave me has to be returned tomorrow because it reached the $1,500 limit. That's part of the contract and wouldn't be an issue if this didn't take so long. The person I've been in contact with has been unreliable. He blamed the two-month delay solely on the service center. I've been using them for years and have complete trust in them. Now I'm left with no transportation. I'm still making car payments and insurance payments, plus my deductible, and I haven't received anything in return. This should have been done in a month, according to my contact at the service center. Not three months.

I wanna get a written insurance policy for our crib and wheels. We hooked up with Electric back in 2014. I've been tryna get an actual written policy from these peeps for years, but no luck. I kept tellin' my agent, *** at *** (***.), but he never did anything 'bout it. Lately, he said they gotta dig it outta storage. Seriously? So, it's been 8 years and still no policy. Every year, they send us add-ons, sayin' we gotta read 'em and compare 'em to the policy. But how can we? We ain't got no written policy to look at. For example, let's say we get hit by a storm and I wanna know what's covered. Can't do it. We don't have a written policy that tells us what's covered, but they sure as heck tell me what ain't. 'Bout a week ago, I called 'em again, tellin' 'em I want a POLICY. To get me off their back, they said they'd send one. But all they sent was the add-ons, no policy.

On October 19th my husband talked to Alex 'bout some trouble with our car. Someone tried to swipe the catalytic converter and cut partway through, which made the muffler break off. The mechanic didn't get an estimate from the appraiser 'til November 12th. The mechanic said the estimate didn't make sense in the solution they were suggesting. The mechanic also said the fix needed was more than what the insurance appraiser said. But when they tried to follow the appraiser's advice on how to fix it, more damage happened, like the mechanic said it would, 'cause the repair the appraiser suggested wasn't possible. So, they filed an extra claim at the end of November. After lots of tries to get the vandalism fixed, on December 21st, the insurance adjuster said they'd only cover damage that's less than the deductible. Even though this whole process took over 2 whole months for the insurance to give a solution, it ain't fair 'cause the repair is only needed 'cause of the vandalism to the car. We're askin' for the full repair charges to be covered, 'cept for the deductible.
