Electronic Arts (EA) FIFA 23, continued failers and discrimination to regular players

Good Day,

First I have to say I have been a EA Sports FIFA buyer for 5 straight years. And I noticed in these 5 years always the same pattern, always the same.

I have spent 500€ every year, between the game price and fifa points.

And in these 5 years only one time I got a player that was worth 500 000 fifa coins,and it was these year because I bought the pre order edition,usually max price 15 000.

And lile these I know other 10 guys with the same pattern. It looks like the only players that get the million worth cards are the youtubers pr twitchers. That is not fair at all for players that enjoy the game but never have ways to get a more competitive team.

Desired outcome: I would like to be refunded for the game or get some good game reward.

Electronic Arts (EA) FIFA 23

I have been an EA PLAY PRO member for multiple years. I have played and owned just about every EA game they have released for well over 15 years. I have never had a major issue, until now.

I downloaded the new FIFA 23 game the day it was released. I played ultimate team for 2-3 games. No issues. I played another game of ultimate team the following day then i left the game up to go eat lunch, I come back about 2 hours later and see I am no longer connected to the EA servers. I try to reconnect to no avail. I see an email from EA saying I have been banned for life for cheating. I was stunned. I have never cheated in an online game in my life, and NEVER would. I despise cheaters, as they make games not fun.

I have contacted EA support multiple times regarding this issue, and each time I receive an automated email saying "we stand by our decision". They think I cheated, I KNOW I did not. I spoke to one of their chat support folks, and he confirmed for me that there was a bug with their Anti-cheat software and many other people have experienced the same type of situation.

If this situation is not rectified I will never play another EA game, and they will be losing a multi decade customer over a software bug, and how they handed themselves after the fact.

Desired outcome: I would like a full apology for being branded as a cheater. I would like my online privileges to be fully reinstated. If they refuse, I would like a full refund for my yearly subscription to EA PLAY PRO.

Electronic Arts (EA) Battlefield 2042 PS4

I purchased the game and after downloading it on the opening screen it ask me to reset my password qith EA it has expired. I reset my password but the game still tells me to reset my password. How do I fix this issue. Also I have sent EA three tickets about the issue they have not answered my question they gave me a generic email that had nothing to donwith my issue. The fact that you can't even talk to someone at A MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY what a joke! I need help! I purchased the game and I can't even play it or get the creators to help me.

Electronic Arts (EA) EA

We have been trying to work with EA to solve the problem of no longer having access to the email used to set up an account. We contacted Comcast, but this email is over a decade old and hasn't been used in that amount of time. We simply want to unlink the old account from my sons Xbox live account. We don't want to play games with old account, change the profile or anything. We just want it unlinked and there seems to be no way to do this when we cannot access the old email and no way to speak to anyone at EA.

My son wants to play EA games, but he cannot because this old EA account email is stopping him. He set up a new EA account and wants to link it to the xbox live account, but he cannot because this older than a decade EA account is linked. Microsoft cannot do anything because it is EA. Comcast can't do anything because it is an old, deactivated account. PLEASE! All we want to do is unlink the old EA account from the xbox live account so my son can play your games. Please help!

Desired outcome: We would like the very very old EA account unlinked from the Xbox live account. I can be contacted by email [protected]@gmail.com

I sincerely hope you got this resolved. I have a similar problem, in that the email associated with my EA account hasn't been active for years. Last week, I attempted to log in after several months, and was compelled to switch from Origin to the new EA app.

The switched forced me into the 2 factor authentication (which I had previously declined several times) ... and the required authentication code is sent to the non-existent email.

I've managed (barely..the support website is horrible) to initiate two cases ( I have the numbers), but a week into this, I have had no response at all so far.

Electronic Arts (EA) Sims 4 Game Purchases

I purchased two Sims 4 Games Extensions and cannot locate or connect. Online assistance is ridiculous. I get a new person each time, and provide the verifying information just to get no assistance. I need to connect to the Origin account for my MAC and download the Origin Install Helper but it will not allow access!

If they do not fix the issue, I need a full refund.

Electronic Arts (EA) Pogo stole "gems: from me!

On or about July 5th I was playing POPPIT BINGO with my Club POGO name

BearsaWild" . I have been a Paying Club POGO member for more than 20 years. I tried to purchase some Cactus Cash using GEMS that I paid real money for. I got the message from POGO that my "Transaction Failed, Please Try Again Later". I waited for about 20 minutes and tried again, I got the same exact message "Transaction Failed, Please Try Again Later". I tried a third time and once again I got the same exact message "Transaction Failed, Please Try Again Later"? I went and played a different game and came back 20-30 minutes later. I was stunned to find that POGO put all three of my Failed Transactions through at the same time? POGO did pay me all 3 of the Cactus Cash purchases. I explained to them that if I wanted that much Cactus Cash I would have made ONE large purchase which would have given me a lot more Cactus Cash and cost me a lot less GEMS! My issue with POGO is simple, I NEVER gave them permission to put all three FAILED TRANSACTIONS through!. After literally dozens of e-mails and online chats I finally had one of their Customer Experience agents resolve my issue. Their agent Akash on July 20th at 4:59pm told me that POGO was going to refund me 242 Gems. He guaranteed me that my refund would be issued the next morning, I have a copy of my Chat with Akash and will be happy to provide it. The next morning POGO told me that they were NOT going to honor their promise? I have literally begged POGO to explain why they feel it is OK to put 3 failed transactions through? I also asked them why it is OK for their customer service agents to lie to customers? After reading through the hundreds of complaints filed against POGO at the BBB, I now understand that ripping off customers and lying to them is quite common.It's funny, I have been playing a lot more POGO this year because I went through 3 major heart surgeries in one month. In just the last 4 months I spent $430.00 in pogo (mostly for gems), and it would not cost POGO a penny to keep their promise. I am a bit old fashioned, if I give my word I actually honor my promise!. POGO, I now give you my word... POGO you will not see another penny from me ever! I refuse to give my money to any company that steals and lies to its customers! Thank you for this service Complaint Board!

Desired outcome: I am probably asking to much to have POGO actually keep it's promise? I written more than 30 e-mails to them and they refuse to answer my questions? At this point it would have to be a hell of an apology

i was banned from using ea online services to play games, and i don't know of any reason why they all of a sudden banned me. i rarely play ea games online and have never had any trouble with the online service. i did not receive an email stating why the ban is and now i have no way of playing any ea games using an online connection. could you please email me and tell me how i could get my account back so that i do not have any ban or inability to use the online service?

Desired outcome: full use of ea online service and also puchases on ea store.

Electronic Arts (EA) Accounts/help

There is no way to speak to anyone from this company in regards to your account. No phone number for this issue. Instead they ask you to log in on the web. But when you can't because you don't recall your password for the account, and don't receive the email you request to reset your password, you are left high an dry. Kinda hard to get help on an issue if you can't log in to speak to someone through a chat or text.

Desired outcome: Help with my issue and a way to deal with this over the phone should someone need to go down that route

Electronic Arts (EA) Cant login to play games anymore

Ok bought a copy of battlefield 2042. Installed it, but it will not connect to the EA servers. Called customer support and they stated nothing they could do, so basically I can not play any EA games on my PS4 or PS5.

When game is started, the startup screen comes up. Then press x to start games, says it is trying to log on to online servers. Screen turns white them it gives and error stating I need to update password. The customer service person stated the EA account associated with the PSN was deleted. I would have to change password to "undelete it". Unfortunately, I do not have access to the original email I set the acct up with to change the password or recover the acct from deleted status. The customer service people stated I woulds have to unlink the PSN from the EA acct. That was deleted and link it to a new EA account if I could not recover the old one. The problem is, there is no way for me to do this. I do not know the old email to change the password to recover the old acct. Thus I cannot play any EA games anymore. Waste time and money. Battlefield was my favorite.

Desired outcome: would love to have my psn-hotshhotgamer1 linked with my new EA acct: [protected]@yahoo.com.

They most likely banned you for doing nothing wrong. Same thing happened to me, except on FIFA 23.

Electronic Arts (EA) Orgin Billing for Game Purchase

Everytime I now purchase a game in Origin on PC, and use my PayPal account... I'm billed twice in PayPal.

Their customer service reps (CSR) have said things like:

"I have to talk to PayPal since it's their issue!?" Lies

"I have no idea why it does that?" Incompetent

The last CSR gave some incomprehensible explanation and when challenged as to what he was saying, he got out of chat really fast.

Here are some salient points:

1. EA are the only retailer in the known universe to bill PayPal twice

2. I'm sure their CSRs are judged on how many chats they complete. This means that they do NOT want to be hang up on a chat where they actually have to think. They are only level 1 and when I've asked to escalate my issue to someone who is competent, they get out of chat really fast.

3. I've spent about 40 years in IT technical support. Working in data centres on multi-million dollar pieces of equipment. I build my own gaming rigs. I know when I'm being lied to and EA CSRs do it all the time

Desired outcome: I would like an apology.I have decided to no longer purchase games in Origin... they are too rude and unhelpful.

I've been disabled from my account for doing nothing and says that I didn't follow your rules when I was and haven't played for a while so i want my account back because I didn't do anything that would of make my account disabled. this happened about a month or 2 ago.

Electronic Arts (EA) Connection problems on Apex Legends Servers

I am playing a ranked game on 06/16/2022 on 5 pm and the game throws me out and then gets me banned for leaving the game… Is this a joke I got banned and I lost rp because the game threw me out?!?

There should be something that identifies whether the problem is on the game itself or to my connection and I can assure you that my connection has no problem but the servers of the game are pour the least.

Unacceptable

Desired outcome: Fix your serves this is exhausting..

Electronic Arts (EA) Madden 21 Xbox

12th April 2022

My 13 year old son received an email from EA stating he has had a permanent ban placed on his account for Madden for cheating, however with no explanation of what he's actually done.

This has happened previously, once it wasn't overturned and once already this year it was overturned however we are never given a reason for it.

I monitor my sons gaming on this account because of this happening previously and can't see any reason why a ban would be applied, however we EA's refusal to provide the detail we can't even contest it.

We could create a new account and carry on playing however we've spent a lot of money on in game products which is just wasted.

Desired outcome: I'd love the account reactivated for my son, the detail behind it, and or the money back that we have invested in the game.

Electronic Arts (EA) Madden 22 - Solo Battles

As soon as I finished my second to last solo battle (Game 13) I was given a screen that said," Event not available". The game then proceeded to count the game I hadn't even clicked on a DNF and did not allow me to attempt the challenge. This would've been for a top 100 placement. Please fix this. My account gamertag on Xbox and Madden 22 is Void Dash00.

Desired outcome: Either give me my game back to play or give me my points for the game.

I spent £83.99 on this game and it doesn't work anymore, it's a joke tbh, it's a lot of money just to throw away. Can't even get on any matches. I want a refund, I bought from CDkeys and they won't refund as digital code has been used and they can't resell. I want my money back, I have followed battlefield since the beginning and this is how I am left feeling, disappointed completely

Electronic Arts (EA) Origin and EA games

I have been harassed and bullied by EA games for the past couple of years. They corrupted my computer last year so bad that my computer black-screened ! So, after a year or so I decided to start playing it again. It's only been a couple of months and they are back at it again. they happen to be an affiliate of Steam, which is another game site for games. Now, when I try to play my game they've condensed the Origin and the Steam apps to what is called Thinappsetting which means I cannot utilize all the apps and packs I have because I can only play a type of scenario game. Also, all my lots and households have been deleted ! When I complain on the EA site, they ignore me and mark my complaints as "resolved" please help I feel very discriminated upon...

Electronic Arts (EA) madden 22

i play franchise offline, and every time i try to play a game it either crashes midgame saying something about drivers, or it crashes while i try to setup and play the game. ive tried resolving it and have seen that other players have the same issue. so im unable to play a game that i have spent countless hours playing because it crashes, and its not a problem with my pc because ive got a 3060 graphics card.

Electronic Arts (EA) Titanfall 2

I have a 1 month Xbox Game Pass for gamer tag: TweeSleet477638 which is attached to: [protected]@hotmail.com but keep getting a message that says: "This profile is not permitted to play online." This shows up in the first screen of Titanfall 2 on an Xbox One S and does not allow the selection of multiplayer. I have unplugged the console for over a minute and other profiles are able to sign in and play multiplayer on the same console. Please activate this profile. Thank you.

Desired outcome: Profile is activated so I can play online.
