Emirates review: Staff are extremely rude and Dubai is a scam

Avoid flying Emirates and flying into Dubai at all costs! I paid more money to fly on Emirates because I've heard nothing but good things about the airline as well as Dubai. But this experience has been beyond horrible. The staff working at the airport are extremely rude and thing they are above you for god knows what reason. Maybe it's because Dubai has been gassed up by people for no reason at all! There's absolutely nothing to do in this country than go to malls and go shopping, anytime you ask anybody what's something to do in Dubai their answer is "Go to the Dubai Mall", I'm the type of person to go on vacation to explore not go shopping. Everyone in immigration are rude, don't look you in the eye or speak with their chest, instead they communicate with you in gestures, people are constantly being herded around like cattle for no reason even when it comes to finding taxis outside the airport. Everybody says that Dubai is one of the greatest places on Earth but everyone who lives here looks miserable and is constantly pissed off. People here are allergic to smiling and politeness. When it was time to board my flight, I scanned my passport to get through the gates and I was saw some people standing in a line beyond the gates so I thought I had to do the same thing. I stood in line and I see my mom walking through the gates and I asked her do I need to stand in line, at which point the Emirates employee working the desk looked at me and asked did the gates open when I scanned my passport and I said yes and then she said then what are you doing here, she said it in such a rude way that I was so shocked I just started at her, I was standing in line because I wasn't sure what to do, I was genuinely confused and I just got yelled at for asking a question. When she saw me staring at her, she asks "why you angry?" I got annoyed and responded by saying "why are YOU angry" and then she turns to me and says "respect yourself" which was a very confusing comeback so my natural reaction was to say "huh?" And then she said one more word and I will offload you off this flight". At this point, I've had a horrible experience in the Dubai airport and in Dubai in general and I just wanted to get home, so I kept my mouth shut and just went to the waiting area. This place is really a scam! Don't come here just to get yelled at by people who think they are above you for no god damn reason! I'd rather pay more money and fly Qatar!
