I purchased a transmission from Engine and Transmission World a over a month ago. They told me on my e-mail quote (I still have it) that the transmission only had 26,000 miles on it. When the Ford dealership installed it, it was defective. I found from a source from LKQ that the transmission had over 128,000 miles on it. Invoice number on the bill of lading from the delivery driver is how I received the original invoice number to Engine and Transmission World. The smug manager that I spoke to at Scamsmission World was not cooperative.
Recommendation: I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!
I purchased the transmission online on January 14, 2025. My confirmation e-mail said that the transmission had 26,000 miles on it and would cost $2,630. I later discovered that the transmission had over 128,000 miles on it. They wait 14 business days before transmission can be shipped to allow for the credit card to be in a non refundable disposition. Transmission was picked up from LKQ on 1/23/25. Transmission was delivered to Ford dealership around the 15th of January. I had to wait for over a week for the Ford dealership to do the install. The transmission was defective. Warranty info was submitted on March 7. Invoice #449477. I was told full warranty would not be honored. Management was not very informative as to what was going to happen moving forward. He was quite smug about his position.
