I forgot a duty free bag on the plane
I was travelling from abu dhabi to cairo on flight number EY 653 on 6 july 2018 and i forget a duty free bag with 2 alcohol bottles .. i tried to call all your numbers but i can't reach anyone please help i called your office in UAE and the office here in Egypt and they give me an email to contact i sent 3 emails and no replies please help as soon as possible

This is unprofessional way to deal with the customer without any alternative option to cancel my ticket. Which results to me a losses of time and money to reschedule every thing and date...😡

baggage misplaced
My parents travelled from Kochi to Calgary under the same booking.. Kochi to Abu Dhabi ( EY 283), Abu Dhabi to Toronto ( EY 141) and Toronto to Calgary ( AC 143) . We did not receive checked in baggage at Calgary.. We were told the baggage would be required to be collected only in Calgary at the ticketing counter at Kochi operated by Etihad ... After contacting baggage services of Air Canada in Calgary ; we were told that they have not received the baggage yet in Toronto from Etihad ... My parents medications and walking aids were in the baggage ... Please do the needful urgently

was scheduled to board n fly at 8.10am on 10/01/2018 from manchester uk but the flight was cancelled and I along with all other co passengers were kept in the dark about the next flight and made to wait at the airport for at least 8 hrs and after that given an option to either get on board a bus to travel down to london (4 hrs again) or to sit at manchester without any info or hope fir the next flight!
I took the bus... was served no refreshments on the way.!
managed to get on the flight to abu dhabi and then had to wait another 7 hours for the flight to my final destination.. new delhi
as if the torture wasn't enough... found out that my luggage had not arrived on the same flight and would come next day...
had to buy a set of clothes n toiletries...
reached almost a day n a half later than scheduled
have been a regular traveller of etihad airlines but this experience has really disturbed me esp the arrogant attitude of the staff at manchester airport
would definitely want an explanation and adequate re imbursement as per policy

air hostess demeanor and endangering my husband
My family and I were travelling back from Phuket on the EY431 flight on 19th July - 3 young children, my husband and I. My son Oran Pegman became unwell on the flight with a tummy bug and was getting sick the whole flight. One of the flight attendants was extremely helpful, providing sick bags, wet towels and tissues.
At one point the seat belt sign was on, our seat belts were fastened and I had gathered a sick bag (used) and some tissues in another clear plastic bag. We called asked another flight attendant could she take it and dispose of it as the seat belt sign was on. Her response was to ask 'what is that?' pointing at the bag, clearly understanding what it was as the Etihad sick bag was visibly full(but inserted into another clear plastic bag). My husband said it is a sick bag pointing to my son who was clearly unwll. She replied, 'I can't touch that, bring it to the toilet.' So my husband had to undo his seat belt and dispose of it. All the time the seat belt sign was on.
We found this particular flight attendant to be very rude but most of all had disregarded the safety aspect of my husband moving around the cabin when the seat belt sign was on. As I said another flight attendant (possibly of Phillipino or Malaysian origin) had been extremely helpful and kind. This one other attendant was the opposite.

I have entered every passenger details very carefully, when I checked ticket received on my email, my daughter last is showing incorrect, when I called customer care number [protected] they said you have to pay 7000 for my daughter name correction
Is this only because of cheaper ticket I booked through online.. Now they are leveling money by this way..

Good Day,
After Biding and paying extra my wife has to agaim go through the same issues at both airport .now can you contact Abu Dhabi Airport counter and Minsk airport counter. Guys I did mistake to upgrade if I would know before my wife will have issues Instead of having good flight positive supprice we have problem.. And she is more upset on me why I had to do this upgrade
Please refund all the money you chraged and I would like to raise a official complain for all the stress my wife and kid had to go throug. I did not expected from a well know airlines this kind of communication error after charging upgrading both flights you dont inform your Airport staff. At present my wife is in Abu Dhabi airport and I told her to not approch any more your counter as your staff told flight is full and no seat for her in Bussiness class. See attached both charges for the upgrading the seats on my Credit card.
Again requesting please send me your corporate office or VP email ID. I would like to inform him how good is your program and the guest are having what issues when they pay more and go through all the issues.

I am Paul MaxwellPonseka. I travelled with my family on 14th June 2018 Kochin to Manchester (EY281/EY21). When I collected my luggage from Manchester airport, I found
One of my luggage box was wet with oil or some chemicals (it was Orange colour with bad smell.). I reported to the global baggage solutions Reference number: MANEY 25040/14jun/15:15. When we opened the luggage box we found all most all the clothes were soaked with orange colour with bad smell. The clothes all were new costly sarees, gown, trouser, blouse, T shirt and salwars.. I hope you understand the stress and pain we faced in fewdays. I hope we gets gentle compensation. I tried to claim on mishandled baggage form but it is not working. Kindly do the needful

We travelled in flight number EY 682 to Abu Dhabi and EY 212 to Mumbai and from there Visakhapatnam on Jet airways. Date of journey was 19-20 th June. Our luggage was opened and stolen all valuables by your baggage handling staff. My new Iphone 8plus, new Ipad and USD currency about 800 etc and some gold was missing from bag. Pls help me to recover the above items and cash.

etihad guest gold : impossible to claim miles
Climbing to Gold member status in less than 2 years, I thought that my loyalty to Etihad would be recognized however this doesn't seem to be the case.
As of October 2017 (8 months ago), I am still waiting for missing miles to be credited to my account. Out of 12 flights, 3 have been credited after months of waiting and 9 are still pending.
I'm losing my patience but the only replies I get are the copy and paste standard "we are looking into your case and will get back to you"... Imagine if they weren't looking into your case after 8 months of waiting!
I haven't been able to make any bookings with miles since they simply aren't being credited. I simply can't understand why Etihad Guest takes so long when all other airlines (Cathay Pacific, Alitalia, Czech Airlines, Delta, Lufthansa, LOT Polish, German Wings, etc.) credit partner airline miles within a week maximum. 8 months is simply lazy and sloppy.
The case number is INTR: [protected] in case anyone from Etihad has the desire to genuinely look into it. I am still waiting to be called by a supervisor but I guess they don't dare to contact customers.
At this point I ask for 1) compensation through Bonus Miles or a ticket, 2) A deadline for all 9 pending flights for when the miles will be credited.

Update: my claim from April is still on standby. The reply I got is the copy & paste reply of:
"We understand that a response with regards to your query pertaining partner flights has been pending for some time, for which we would like to apologize. Please allow us to clarify that there is an internal process involved that may take a period of time for resolution."
How can 3 months be considered an acceptable period of time for resolution? And how can someone still have the courage to try to explain there is an internal process involved that may take longer than 3 months!? (From experience they can reach 8.5 months).
Furthermore I did not get any reply about my request for a) compensation or b) extending miles validity seeing as it took 8.5 months to have miles credited and in this time the Etihad guest account was essentially useless.
Update: socialmedia@etihad.ae has decided to look into the problem and has immediately credited the points for 2 partner flights and informed me that a third is not eligible. I'm happy to see that they have been able to act so fast and "wake up" Etihad Guest Gold staff from their 8 month hibernation. Now it just leaves some remaining flights to be credited, hopefully I can mark this complaint as RESOLVED soon!

It took almost as long as giving birth, but finally the miles have been credited!!! I'm under the impression that the Etihad social media team is directly employed by Etihad, while the Etihad guest team is outsourced call centers who couldn't care less. The amount of tier miles credited I believe is incorrect, but at this point I don't care anymore. I'll finish finish my 8 flights I have left with Etihad this year, then end it there. I've seen that with just 2 business class round trips I can already get into Elite status, plus it's valid throughout the OneWorld alliance. Etihad guest no longer has partners for tier miles and anyway getting the miles is pure torture. It's just not worth it.

I am Hoda Diab Ferig with reference code NODOAE flying now to AUH. The flight is extremely cold and cabin crew rejects to distribute blankets due to only 5 available to all passengers.
This is not acceptable from Etihad airline and I am very surprised to see such things happen in big airlines like you.

refund not received for cancelled flight having paid for upgrade

My wife's flight EY460 to Melbourne on 17 May and was told originally that as Etihad Airways had cancelled the flight a refund would be forthcoming.
However I am now told that "it is not our policy to refund the amount paid for the upgrade bid" under our terms and conditions.
Note clause 12 of the terms and conditions :
"There will be no refunds, credits, or exchanges once your Offer has been accepted by Etihad and your credit card has been charged, except under the following conditions:
- The flight for which your Offer was accepted was cancelled, and Etihad re-accommodated you on another flight but in the class of service of your original booking, in which case the amount paid for the Upgrade or NFS will be refunded to the payment card that was used to bid."
I seek the full amount of the bid for the upgrade as Etihad cancelled the flight and re-accommodated her on another flight.

On April 17th I purchased flight tickets for my parents (Mada. Manmadha Rao, Mada. Ratnam.)
I(Ganesh Mada) paid using my Bank of America Travel credit card.
On Jun 9th is travel date which is from HYB to IAD.
My parents could not present my photo copy of credit card. Because recently I lost my credit card and reapplied for new credit card. Bank gave me new credit card with new card number.
So we were unable to provide old card details. Etihad Manager from HYB airport told us to pay again the amount to travel and that amount can be refunded once we called to Customer service.
But we are not getting any relevant response. Each representative saying differently. One is saying I will get refund in 24 hours automatically. Other one is saying it will take 14 to 20 working days.
Please refund us the 2nd payment. Tell me if you want me to send my ID card any other details in this case.

mishandling of baggage
Hi!
this is to bring to your notice that while i was travelling from sri lanka to gaborone in botswana on the 31st of may 2018 my first flight of a320-100/200 ey 604 of 04.35am was delayed due to a technical fault.
Due to this my all the other flights were delayed and i arrived gaborone on the 01st of june 2018 through cairo.
Hence i did not manage to collect my baggage from the gaborone airport please do the needful to give me a proper feedback because air link office at gaborone just recorded my complaint on a paper.

I have been asked to pay 6833 rupees for name error. It was technical fault in your website. I have attached the name that was shown in the ticket I booked, my passport as well as the money charged from me. The online ticket that I have been received showes the name madhuri jaypal nainani. However, while checkin the name showed was Jaypal Nainani/Madhuri for which I have been charged for. Kindly refund my money as it was not my fault and technical error from your end

Hi, I have the same problem even if I have Gold status with Etihad Guest.
I send an email once every 2 weeks and am still waiting on miles to be credited by Etihad since October 2017... thats 8 months! Total 9 tickets to be credited from October 2017 to April 2018... now is June 2018.
I think Etihad has some serious IT or personnel issues.
unhelpful staff with lost phone on plane
I was on the flight EY 621 from Seychelles to Abu Dhabi on 26th May. I & my husband were sitting at 16E & 16F, I have left my iphone at the window seat small pocket (the small pocket in front of the magazine pocket). It is on a walnut color wooden case. I reported the issue with the transfer desk staff who told me no one can go back to the flight to get the phone for me, but ask me to send email to the airport lost & found department. I was just landed, why they can't call the crew members who are still onboard to look for me? I was absolutely sure my iphone was in the pocket as it was charging with a USB cable attached, I had packed my charging cable, but left the iphone in the pocket upon landing. I know it is my fault, but I found your land staff not helpful at all in this event.
I did send am email to the airline, till now it is already 5 days, no reply from airline.
The lost & found only replied no similar item found. This is my first trip with Etihad airway and I am sorry to tell you it will be my last one in life as well.

treatment on flight and loss of tickets and money
On 25th of April at Frankfurt airport, I was removed from flight Etihad Airways EY 008 because I didn't have a return ticket from Muscat. It was about 21.45 at night which meant I had to spend the night in Frankfurt airport. I had to go all the way back to the departures lounge and check-ins and at that time the check-ins were closed. In the morning at about 7.00am I went to Etihad Airways check-in to see if I could exchange my ticket. The answer was no and they were most unhelpful. Which meant I had to buy another flight using Turkish Airways. My friend had to buy me a return ticket online. I find the behaviour of Etihad appalling and distressing. It was too late to do anything and I think they could have let me fly to Abu Dhabi where I could have purchased a return ticket. As I say, my friend got one for me anyway. Etihad had hours before boarding to inform me I needed a return ticket. Instead they let me board and with 10 minutes before the flight removed me in a most upsetting way. By the time I contacted my friend in the UK and he had bought me the ticket online, the flight had departed. I feel they could have let me on the flight and I could have got the return ticket in Abu Dhabi. Because of this I have lost a lot of money and I expect some reimbursement from them, not only for the loss of money but also for the distress they caused me.
