Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unsatisfactory Purchase Experience of Car - Reg MK20PXW

I trust this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and dissatisfaction regarding the recent purchase of a car, registration MK20PXW, from your establishment on September 28th, 2023, through Car Moola.

Prior to the purchase, I had discussions with the York Citron team, where I was repeatedly persuaded to buy the vehicle through them. Despite their insistence and promise of a warranty through their dealership, I opted to proceed without their offer. However, an issue arose when they informed me that the warranty payment, which we had agreed to handle separately, encountered difficulties. This was an immediate cause for concern as it deviated from our agreed terms.

Moreover, upon the delivery of the vehicle the following day, I was appalled to find it in an unsatisfactory condition. The car was delivered in an exceptionally dirty state, with stains and dog hair present throughout the interior. I was informed that due to an alleged robbery, the vehicle hadn’t been cleaned. No documents or paperwork were provided at the time of delivery, leaving me without any essential records pertaining to the purchase.

Despite my concerns and numerous attempts to seek resolution, the situation has remained unresolved. Multiple communications, both via phone and in person, have failed to elicit a satisfactory response regarding the promised warranty. Instead, I have been consistently met with excuses, primarily regarding administrative issues with your computer system.

I must emphasize the distress and inconvenience this situation has caused me. The substandard delivery of the vehicle, the lack of essential documentation, broken commitments regarding the warranty, and the unsatisfactory response from your managerial staff have collectively resulted in a deeply disappointing and unacceptable experience.

As a consumer, I believe I am entitled to a certain level of service and accountability, which has regrettably been absent in this transaction. At this point, I am left with a car experiencing technical issues within a month of purchase, coupled with an unresponsive management team.

Given the circumstances, I have scheduled an appointment with Lincoln Peugeot Evans/Peugeot on November 22nd to address the issues with the vehicle. However, I am also requesting immediate resolution and compensation from your end for the substandard delivery, lack of paperwork, and unfulfilled warranty promise.

I sincerely hope for a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter. I expect a response within [specify a reasonable timeframe], acknowledging the issues raised and outlining the proposed course of action to rectify these grievances. I strongly urge you to take this matter seriously and address it with the gravity it deserves.

Please consider this letter as a formal complaint and a notice of my intent to escalate this matter further if necessary. I trust that you will take the appropriate steps to resolve this issue promptly.
