EzClear WARNING: EZ Clear is a scam! Avoid them at all costs

Yo, listen up people! I gotta tell you about EZ Clear. I ain't one to leave bad reviews, but these guys deserve it. They keep hounding me for their duties even though I already got my tracking number from Canada Post. And get this, they keep sending me reminders like they think I'm some kind of forgetful person. I mean, come on, give me a break already!

So, I decided to reach out to them and guess who responded? Maricel. Yeah, that's right. I read all the other reviews and apparently, everyone else talked to the same person too. What's up with that? Do they not have other employees or something?

But here's the real kicker. I talked to Canada Post and they straight up told me that EZ Clear is a scam. They said that if there were any duties, it would show up on their Track package page and I could pay online or at the post office. So, I'm not falling for this scam and you shouldn't either.

In fact, as I was writing this review, I got yet ANOTHER email from them. Like seriously, leave me alone already! So, do yourself a favor and don't give EZ Clear any of your hard-earned money. They're just a bunch of scammers.

EzClear EzClear.ca Review: Shady Business Practices and Unauthorized Charges on Customers' Accounts

So, I ordered something from this website called EzClear (ezclear.ca) for my daughter, and boy was that a mistake. I should have listened to all the other people who complained about them because they are doing some really shady stuff. They are literally taking money from people without their consent, and it's just not right.

My daughter is only 16 years old, and she works really hard at her minimum wage job just to be able to buy herself some clothes. And now, these crooks are stealing from her? I mean, come on, how low can you go? It's just revolting.

Now, I have to go through the hassle of calling them up and self-clearing her package, which is such a pain in the butt. It's ridiculous, and I hope they lose all their customers and go out of business.

They try to justify their actions by saying that what they're doing is legal, but if that were true, then why aren't other online stores doing it? It just doesn't make sense. I've never come across anything like this before, and it's just shameful.

In conclusion, I would strongly advise against buying anything from EzClear. They are not a trustworthy company, and they will do everything in their power to take your money. So, save yourself the trouble and shop somewhere else.

EzClear Beware of Overpriced Duties and Fees: My Nightmare Experience with EZClear and DHL

What a nightmare! Recently, I got an email from EZClear, demanding payment of $85.00. Honestly, I have never even heard of them before! So, I decided to do a quick search online, and to my surprise, I found numerous reviews echoing my same thoughts. People were absolutely horrified at the charges they were being asked to pay!

I have been purchasing items from the UK for years now, and the duties have never exceeded $50.00. My last purchase for $155.20 ended up being charged a duty amount of $43.00 through DHL, which was already quite expensive. However, this time around, I was being charged $85.00 for a purchase that was worth $195 CDN. Why on earth is this company charging double? It just doesn't make any sense to me!

I have decided to file a complaint with the store where I made my purchase. I strongly urge them to switch carriers, or I will have no choice but to take my business elsewhere. I am also going to post a review warning others to be careful before making a purchase through DHL, as they seem to be the only carrier used by the store.

But that's not all! I am also planning on using this charge as an example with every single DHL charge I have ever incurred. I am going to make it all public, and file a complaint to the Canada Border Services Agency, because this simply isn't right.

When I looked at the order summary details, I was hit with even more charges. The admin fees were $14.50, which included a brokerage fee, a funds advancement fee, and a bond fee. To top that off, there was also a GST/HST tax on admin fees amounting to $1.89, duties were $35.33, customs tax was $30.11, and disbursement fees amounted to $3.27, bringing the total to a whopping $85.10.

All in all, this experience has been nothing short of frustrating and it has left a bad taste in my mouth. I can only hope that others are more careful before purchasing through DHL and EZClear.

EzClear Beware of EZClear: my experience with their fraudulent duties scheme

So, I wanted to share my experience with EzClear. I recently ordered a coat from Military1st to give as a Christmas present. I paid extra money for Canada Post expedited shipping, which was supposed to take 5-7 days. Unfortunately, I never received my package, so I contacted Canada Post to initiate an investigation. On January 10th, 2023, they told me that my package had not been delivered, which was not surprising news to say the least.

When I reached out to Military1st for more information about what happened, they told me that I owed duties to Citilogistics. I started receiving a bunch of emails from EZClear claiming that I owed money for duties. I did some research on this company, and I found numerous comments online saying that they were a fraud.

The thing that really gets me is that I placed my order with Military 1st, and nowhere in the order did they mention anything about Citilogistics or EZClear. In fact, all I received was an invoice for the amount I paid. I even contacted Canada Post again on January 13th to inquire about the supposed duties, but they told me they had no record of any fees owing.

Frankly, this whole situation seems like some kind of collusion scam to me. EZClear is trying to collect CAD $78 from me, which includes various fees on top of the cost of the coat and shipping. I paid $228 for everything, so that's a pretty significant portion of the total cost.

At this point, I'm not really sure what to do. I'm still waiting for a response from Military1st, and I'm planning to report this situation to the Canadian Anti Fraud Center. It's frustrating because there doesn't seem to be any clarity around who owes what, and it seems like no one knows anything about EZClear.

Overall, I would advise you to be cautious if you encounter this company. Based on my experience, they appear to operate in a shady manner that I would not trust with your hard-earned money. I hope this review has been helpful to anyone considering doing business with them.

EzClear Buyer Beware: My Disastrous Experience with EzClear and CitiLogistics

Wow, what can I say about this whole mess with EzClear? First off, let me start by saying that I was really excited to receive my order from the UK store Military1st. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse when CitiLogistics became involved and used EzClear as their shipper.

I wasn't familiar with EzClear at the time, so when I started receiving emails from them asking for outrageous duty fees, I was a bit confused. I mean, why would I have to pay more money than I already had to? It just didn't make sense.

I did some research, and it turns out that EzClear is a third party broker that handles customs clearance for international shipments. Okay, fair enough. But what I didn't like was the constant harassment by email, demanding payment for these so-called duties. It really was starting to feel like a scam.

To make matters worse, I received a tracking number from Canada Post saying that my item was on its way. So, I called them up to double-check and was told not to pay any other company, and that any duty fees would be paid upon delivery or at the local post office. Whew, that was a relief!

Naturally, I ignored all of EzClear's emails and eventually asked them to stop harassing me. That's when things got really bizarre. The "customer service" rep told me that in that case they would be returning my item. What?! It felt like they were holding my package hostage and retaliating against me for not paying their fees.

And wouldn't you know it, the CitiLogistics tracking showed that I had refused delivery of the package, which just isn't true. I would have happily paid any duties to Canada Post. But now, the store (Military1st) won't even return my shipping charges. Ugh, talk about feeling ripped off.

So, from now on, I'll avoid like the plague any company that uses CitiLogistics or EzClear. It really feels like they're in cahoots with each other to extort extra fees from customers. Honestly, this whole experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth and I don't think I'll be shopping at Military1st again anytime soon.

EzClear Ezclear's Miscommunication with Canadian Shoppers: My Experience with Tax and Duty Fees

So, I'm from Canada, eh, and I had a bit of a kerfuffle with Ezclear. I bought some stuff from Missguided and then Ezclear came at me with their hand out asking for a hefty tax, duty, and fee payment. They said I could pay them one way or another, but I didn't know who they were and thought they might've been trying to scam me, eh. So, I kept my wallet shut when they came knocking.
But, Ezclear got a bit rude with me, eh. They told me my package was with them and I had to pay up or miss out. I wasn't gonna let them pull a fast one on me, so I did some digging. I found a similar review to mine and followed that person's advice to self-clear my package in person at the CBSA Office. Only then, did Ezclear offer me a third option, which they neglected to mention before.
Anyways, I went to the big office in the city and paid even less tax than what Ezclear said I owed em', eh. Plus, I didn't have to pay their high fees. That made me feel like a smart Canadian, eh. I showed Ezclear the receipt and then got my package the next business day, eh.
Now, don't get me wrong, I ain't too mad that I had to jump through all these hoops, but I think Ezclear left out some important information. If they had just laid out all of my options from the beginning like a true Canuck, then I wouldn't have been in such a tizzy, eh. So, I hope Ezclear can learn to communicate better with us Canadian shoppers in the future, eh.

EzClear Beware of EZClear.ca: Overcharging for Customs and Brokerage Fees

This website EzClear.ca is a courier service which different international companies use to import goods into Canada. I had an experience with them when I ordered four dresses from UK based company MissGuided. I'm used to customs fees and usually pay my charges at the time of delivery or at the post office. I received an email from EzClear stating that they have my package. At first, I thought that my fees must be paid to them especially how their emails are worded, but apparently, it is owed to the CBSA (Canadian Border Services Agency). Imagine my shock when I saw that they were charging me $39.08 for import fees, custom fees, brokerage fee, and tax. That’s almost like paying for another dress! I was in disbelief and decided to contact EZClear. I spoke to Maricel Mendoza and expressed my complaints. I refused to pay them. She told me that I can "self-clear" my package in person at the CBSA Office. That's what I did, and I'm so glad I did! I found out that the actual fees I had to pay to CBSA were only $8.33! I just couldn't believe it!

It is frustrating to think that EZClear preys on people who are unable to stand up to the situation, who are desperately waiting for their package, or those who are uninformed that they are being taken advantage of. I'm just grateful that I was able to self-clear the package and not let this leech of a company get one cent from me. I hope MissGuided can stop using their services since this company exploits customers! Why on earth do companies use this kind of courier? Maybe they are cheaper than other courier services, but it always comes with a cost: the precious time of their valuable customers. I suggest that you DO NOT PAY EZ Clear and self-clear your own package to avoid ridiculous and irrational fees.

EzClear EzClear Review: A Scam or Incompetent Service? My Terrible Experience Revealed!

I just want to share my experience with EzClear, a company that claims to help people clear their packages without the need to pay for expensive brokerage fees. I was introduced to their service by a friend who told me that they can save me a lot of money, which of course, caught my attention.

However, my experience with EzClear was not as smooth as I hoped. First, I had to search online for detailed instructions on how to use their service because they did not provide any in the initial email. It was frustrating, to say the least, but the worst was yet to come.

I ordered some items from an international store and had them shipped to Canada using EzClear's service. To my surprise, the package was intercepted by Border Services, and they demanded me to pay a hefty amount of fees to have it released. The cost of the package was only $40, while the brokerage fee was $22! I couldn't believe it at first, but I had no choice but to pay the ransom because I couldn't go to the Border Services office myself due to my work schedule.

To make matters worse, EzClear then messed up again by sending the package overland instead of by air, which was the promised delivery method. This simple mistake caused a significant delay, and I had to wait for over a month to receive my package.

Overall, I believe that EzClear's service is a total scam. If not, it's borderline incompetent. They offer zero instruction and falsely claim to save people money on expensive brokerage fees. The major clothing and item distributors in the UK are not yet aware of what is going on, and people need to be made aware of this before ordering.

I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Ontario, and I urge others who have had a terrible experience with EzClear to do the same. Let's all help each other by sharing our experiences and warning others, so they don't fall victim to this predatory company.

EzClear Cautionary Review of EZ Clear: Overcharging on Duties and Admin Fees

I had a really negative experience with EZ Clear. When I reached out to their customer service team, they were not very helpful at all. I felt like they were holding my package hostage until I paid their steep brokerage fee. I later found out that if I had gone straight to a CBSA office, I could have paid the actual duties fees and they would have delivered my package without any extra admin fees.

EZ Clear really played it up like I had no other option but to pay their fees. They tried to charge me a ridiculous $25 in duties and admin fees for a purchase that only cost me $30. When I did go to the CBSA office, I was shocked to find out that I didn't actually owe any duty fees at all. They actually didn't understand why I was being charged for such a small order.

My advice is that you verify all information that EZ Clear is giving you before giving them any money. They can easily overcharge you on duties fees and tack on excessive admin fees, which can add up to a lot of extra costs for no good reason.

I do want to mention that the woman who contacted me after I left this review was very helpful and understanding of my frustrations. But even still, she suggested that I would have to pay for duties fees, which wasn't true at all. I felt like she was trying to scare me away from the CBSA. I simply don't want to pay any fees at all when the CBSA says that I am not obligated to pay them.

I had a terrible experience with EZ Clear and I hope that others can be cautious before giving them any money. They are not always correct about the duties fees that you owe and can overcharge you in admin fees.

EzClear My experience with EZClear: Beware of Bogus Admin Fees, Inaccurate Duty Calculations, and Poor Service

So, I recently had an interesting experience with EZClear that I thought I'd share. I originally ordered a package from the Michael Jackson Europe store, but once it arrived in Canada, I received an unexpected email from EZClear. They informed me that I could pay my duties and customs through them, and that they had already calculated the duties for me. All I needed to do was pay their $24 "administration" fee, and I'd be good to go.

Now, to be honest, I was a bit suspicious right off the bat. I've ordered many international packages before, and I always just went to the post office to pay any duties. I'd never had to pay an "admin fee" before. But I decided to do some research and read some reviews on sitejabber. It was then that I learned that I didn't have to pay EZClear anything at all, and that I could self-clear the package myself. Thank you to the people who wrote those reviews!

So, I contacted EZClear and informed them of my intention to self-clear. To my surprise, their support person Maricel actually gave me the papers to do so. I then went to my local CBSA office to self-clear my package. Here's where things get interesting.

Firstly, the CBSA officer was confused by the "bogus admin fee" that EZClear had demanded from me. He said he'd never seen anything like it before. Secondly, and even more concerning, EZClear had calculated my duties wrong! They had told me I'd need to pay them $57, but I actually only needed to pay $30 directly to the CBSA. I'm so glad I didn't pay EZClear anything now.

But it doesn't end there. After I emailed Maricel my CBSA receipt, he said he would clear my package for delivery. But a week went by, and my package was nowhere to be seen. I kept receiving emails from EZClear reminding me to pay them the duties and fees, even though I'd already paid the CBSA. So, I contacted them and asked what was going on. Maricel then apologized for the "mix-up" and finally gave me a Canada Post tracking number for my package.

As it turns out, my package had been sitting in EZClear's building for a whole week! Even though I'd paid all the relevant fees, they hadn't delivered it to me. I can't help but wonder if they were holding onto it out of spite for me not paying their bogus fees. Or maybe they just forgot to deliver it. Either way, I was not impressed. Their service was extremely poor, and their company is utterly useless. They delayed my package by two full weeks for no reason whatsoever.

In conclusion, I'll definitely be more careful before buying things online from now on. And as for EZClear, well, let's just say I hope they improve their operations significantly if they want to have any future customers. Maricel may want to start looking for another job, too.

EzClear Never again: My experience with EZCLEAR's excessive fees

Yo, so I recently copped some stuff from EZCLEAR and just got hit with an email sayin' I owe them extra money to get my [censored] delivered. Like, what the hell man? I've shipped stuff from all over the place and never had to deal with this before. They say I gotta pay $21 on top of the $47 I already spent.

I guess they're sayin' it's cuz of all these different fees they gotta charge - admin fees, admin tax fees, duty fees, customs fees, and distribution fees. What a load of crap if ya ask me. Like, why do they gotta hit me with all these charges for a measly $47 purchase? It ain't even like I'm gettin' nothin' super fancy or anything.

Honestly, I think EZCLEAR is a straight-up ripoff. They're prolly just tryna nickel and dime as many people as they can to squeeze more cash outta the little guys. I ain't gonna be usin' them again, that's for sure.

But yo, if you're down to get hit with a bunch of extra fees for no reason, you do you. I wouldn't recommend it though. Be smart with your cash and find another way to get your stuff. EZCLEAR ain't worth it.

EzClear EzClear: A Shady Company That Steals Your Money through Unnecessary Duty Tax

So, I had a pretty frustrating experience with EzClear recently. To put it bluntly, all they're doing is charging you unnecessary duty tax that they don't even bother to evaluate themselves. Honestly, it's just a clever way for them to steal money from people. And to make matters worse, they don't even mention anywhere that you can self-clear the package yourself!

Let me tell you, it was one headache after another dealing with these guys. If Post Canada had taken care of the fees themselves, my package would have gotten to me way faster. But instead, I had to deal with this shady company and their ridiculous fees. It's just not worth it, guys.

And here's the thing – if you do decide to try and self-clear your package, prepare to wait forever for the process to finish. EzClear is counting on you being in a rush to get your package, so they can take advantage of you and pocket even more money. That's just plain wrong, if you ask me.

Overall, I really don't see any value to this service. They're just trying to scam you out of your hard-earned cash. If you're looking for a better option, I'd recommend trying a different company altogether. Save yourself the hassle and the headache, folks.

EzClear Beware of EzClear for Duties and Taxes - Go Self Clear Instead!

So, I got this message from EzClear about a shipment I received from a UK retailer. It was a product I needed and I already knew the retailer, so I thought it would be no problem. But then, EzClear wanted me to pay an extra $26 CAD for duties and taxes. What? $26? I couldn't believe it. What's the point of buying from a foreign retailer if I have to pay so much on top of the product price?

Luckily, I'm not stupid. I didn't just accept it. I went to Border Services to self clear. It took a few minutes, but it was well worth it. However, it was a complete nightmare. The border agent was really confused about the paperwork that EzClear provided. He said that the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) had already cleared the shipment for delivery. I didn't understand the paperwork either. It was just nonsense. Even the agent himself found it difficult to understand.

But I finally cleared it with CBSA and... Drumroll... NO DUTY OR TAXES PAYABLE! Yes, you read that right. I didn't have to pay a single penny more than what I did to the retailer. So I'm glad I didn't pay EzClear the $26 CAD they were insisting on.

So, to cut the long story short, stay away from EzClear. They're just scammers trying to rip you off. Go self clear the next time you receive a shipment from a foreign retailer. It may take a bit of effort on your part, but at least you won't be overcharged.

EzClear Beware of EzClear's Price Racketeering: A Review of Their Fraudulent Services

Man, lemme tell you about EzClear. These guys are no joke. They straight up holdin' your packages hostage until you pay up. I was peepin' the CBSA website and saw that I owed $22 in duty fees. But when I went to EzClear, they said nah bruh, you gotta pay $36 for that [censored]. And the worst part is, they tryna act like they legit by sendin' you a breakdown of the fees you owe. But that's just so they can tack on a $14 administration fee. Like come on, EzClear, you can't be serious with that kinda racketeering. $22 plus $14 ain't nowhere near $36, that's just common sense.

Me personally, I ain't fallin' for their scams. I'm headin' straight to the CBSA office tonight to pay the proper fees. And I'm not surprised that their email ended up in my junk mail instead of my direct inbox. That's exactly what I expect from shady businesses like this.

Honestly, shoutout to y'all on this site for puttin' me up on game about these scammers. I did my research and saw that I ain't the only one gettin' got by EzClear. Don't be fooled by their false advertising, y'all. Stay vigilant and don't let these frauds take your hard-earned money.

EzClear Shady Business Practices: My Nightmare Experience with EZ Clear

I just gotta pipe in here and say what a nightmare my experience with EZ Clear has been. I mean, seriously, three emails asking for money? That's not cool, man. And don't even get me started on their false claims about duty charges. I double checked with Canada Post over the phone AND in person, and they confirmed what I already suspected - there were no duty charges on my package and it was already on its way to my doorstep.

But here's the thing that really grinds my gears: EZ Clear seems to be engaging in some shady business practices by trying to pull the wool over their customers' eyes. I'm not saying that they're outright scammers, but their claims certainly seem suspicious at best and downright fraudulent at worst. I mean, nobody should have to triple check their tracking info just to make sure they're not being taken for a ride.

Overall, I would say that if you're thinking about using EZ Clear, you might want to think twice. They might promise you the moon and the stars, but in the end, you might just end up getting taken for a ride.

EzClear Beware of EzClear: Strange Situation with Delivery and Third-Party Company

So, I recently had an experience with EzClear and I have to say, I am not too pleased. A few months back, I decided to do my part for charity and ordered a t-shirt from Stands International. I was excited to show my support and eagerly awaited its arrival. However, to my disappointment, it never came. According to the tracking, it had been delivered but I had received nothing. Now, being the responsible customer that I am, I reached out to Stands to inquire about the situation.

To their credit, they were very understanding and professional. They confirmed my address and sent me a replacement shirt, free of charge. I was relieved that the situation had been resolved and grateful for their customer service. However, just recently, I received an email from a company called EzClear claiming to have my original order. They stated that they would release it to me for a fee of $16.22 CAD. Naturally, I was suspicious. Why had my order resurfaced after all this time? And why was I being charged extra for something that I had already paid for?

My first instinct was to ignore the email, but upon further reflection, I decided to contact Stands again. I wanted to make sure that they knew about this odd situation and see if they had any idea what was going on. It's concerning to think that packages may be intercepted and delivered to shady third-party companies without our knowledge. Stands assured me that they had no affiliation with EzClear and that they were just as confused as I was. They reiterated their commitment to customer satisfaction and said that they would look into the matter further.

All in all, my experience with EzClear has left me feeling uneasy. I don't know if this is a scam or simply a mistake, but it's unsettling to think that our personal information and packages may be vulnerable in this way. I appreciate Stands International for their prompt and helpful response, and I hope that they are able to get to the bottom of this situation. If you're considering using EzClear, I would advise caution and suggest that you check with the original company before handing over any money.

EzClear Beware of EzClear: A Scam Alert for Duty Fee Collections

So, let me tell you about my experience with this company called EzClear. I received an email from them claiming that I owed duty fees of just under 14 bucks ($13.79 to be precise). Initially, I was quite surprised to see this email as I was not aware of anything like that. But then, I had an inkling that something might be off as I had heard about such scams in the past.

I decided to go online and check about EzClear. And wow! The first page of search results was filled with claims that they were a scam. I was not convinced yet - maybe those people were just exaggerating? I decided to wait and see what happened. And then, a few days later, I received an email from Canada Post informing me that a label was being created for my package.

It was then that I felt a need to clarify things. I called up Canada Post and enquired about the duty fees. The representative on the phone informed me that I did not owe any duty fees and my package would be shipped in a day or two. He also advised me not to pay any fees to EzClear as it sounded like a scam to him too.

I am so glad that I called Canada Post and got the information. If I hadn't done that, I would have probably paid that money and been scammed. The email from EzClear looked quite legitimate at first glance and it was quite convincing, to be honest. But then, I realized that there were a few details that just didn't add up. For instance, the email didn't have any details about the package or where it was coming from.

It just goes to show that scams like these are quite prevalent, and we all need to be careful. If you receive an email from a company claiming that you owe any fees, it's always best to double-check with the authorities before paying them. Don't fall for their traps.

So, in conclusion, I would advise everyone to be wary of emails or texts asking for any sort of payment. Always do your research and check with the authorities before making any payments. It's better to be safe than sorry. Oh, and one more thing - stay away from EzClear! They are not to be trusted.

EzClear Beware of EzClear: Unfair Charges and Sneaky Duty Shenanigans

Listen folks, I gotta tell ya, I had a less-than-ideal experience with EzClear. These cats charged me a whopping $8.99 (plus a little extra change for "disbursement") to clear some goods I had ordered from Europe. Not a bad price, you might say. But hold up! Here's the kicker: even though my package was duty-free from the get-go, these EzClear jokers decided to still stick it to me with a 6.5% duty charge. What the heck, man?

At this point, I'm thinking to myself, "What kind of operation is this?" I'm willing to bet they won't even fork over that duty money to the good ol' federal government. And don't even get me started on their paperwork - I bet they've got it all rigged so they don't have to pay a dime. Meanwhile, us customers are left scratching our heads and digging deep into our pockets.

Honestly, it's best to avoid doing business with EzClear altogether. Let the merchants you buy from know loud and clear that they need to steer clear of this company and any shipping outfits that use their services. We deserve better than their sloppy handling of our packages and their sneaky duty shenanigans.

EzClear My Experience with EzClear – A Reliable Solution for Dealing with Customs Duties and Fees

So, let me tell you about this website I found called EzClear (ezclear.ca). I recently had a frustrating experience with customs fees when buying clothing from UK retailers online. As you can imagine, I was not keen on paying the exorbitant amount of $70.00 custom duties on products worse $160.00. However, I received an email from EzClear asking me to do just that.

Initially, I was skeptical about the whole thing and had my doubts about paying this company the money they were asking for. So I picked up the phone and called the number listed on their email to inquire about the duty fees. Imagine my surprise when a lady picked up and started explaining the minimum/maximum duty fees allowed and even made it seem like I had to pay right away.

To be honest, I was not happy about the whole thing. I had never heard of this company before and they were asking me to give them my credit card information so they could charge me. And to make it worse, they had been holding my package for a week!

As far as I was concerned, they could keep my package and return it to the sender. I wasn't going to part with my hard-earned money that easily. If I was going to pay duty fees, I would rather pay CBSA directly or Canada Post.

Despite my initial skepticism, I decided to give EzClear a chance and paid the duty fees using my credit card. To my surprise, the package arrived at my doorstep a few days later, and I didn't have to deal with any more surprises or hidden fees.

Looking back, I wish the lady on the phone had been a bit more patient and explained things more clearly. However, I am glad I gave EzClear a chance, and I highly recommend their services to anyone who wants to avoid the headache of dealing with customs duties and fees. They may not be perfect, but they got the job done, and that's all that mattered to me.

EzClear Beware of EzClear: A Scam Courier Agent - My Experience

So, I thought I'd share my experience with EzClear (ezclear.ca). I purchased some make-up products from Sample Beauty (& Beauty Bay) and received several emails from EzClear since 31st May that asked me to pay a fee of $16. Now, the total cost of my products was only $30. The email EzClear sent me showed all my personal information. SB confirmed in their email that EzClear works as their courier agent and asked me to pay the fees.

I decided to double-check this and called Post Canada twice. To my surprise, they said they had never heard of EzClear. What's more, they assured me that there was absolutely no handling, administrative or custom fee involved whatsoever. The item was already with Post Canada and couldn't be handled by any other individual or company. I was informed that my package would soon arrive in the following days.

After this experience, I am convinced that EzClear are scammers and will never do business with them again. I urge you all to be careful and not believe Sample Beauty or EzClear. As promised, I have attached a screenshot of the emails I received so you can see for yourself.

Overall, this was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming, but also a good lesson for me. Always double-check and do your research before paying any additional fees – it might just be a scam!
