Poor experience with Family First Funding
Poor experience with Family First Funding. After submitting all my personal information and communicating with Nicole, she disappeared and never got back to me. It was really frustrating and disappointing. I was hoping to get some help with my financial situation, but it seems like they don't care about their customers. I wasted my time and effort for nothing. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

They are really good at what they do and they take their job seriously. I have been working with them for a while now and I can say that they have been a lifesaver. They are always there to answer any questions I have and they explain everything in a way that I can understand. I feel confident in their expertise and I trust them completely. I am so grateful for their help and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of financial assistance.

Me and my wife, we did our refinance with Family First Funding and *** and they were awesome. They closed our loan in less than 30 days, even though it seemed like the industry was kinda swamped. We got a really good rate and the process wasn't too terrible, you know, like those scary stories we sometimes hear. *** and his team were fast in answering any questions we had, right up until the last day we signed. Even the person who came to our house to sign the papers was really cool.

I had a grate experience with *** and the hole Family First Funding Team. They came highly recommended from a good friend of mine. It can be scary purchasing a home for the first time, but we were in good hands with Family First Funding from the very beginning. Our rep was in constant communication from the very beginning. He provided tips on how to improve credit before we applied, and got us a rate we were super happy with! I continue to recommend *** to all family and friends.
Family First Funding LLC is the worst company to ever process a loan in my life
Family First Funding LLC is the worst company to ever process a loan in my life. They are absolutely horrendous in every step of the process. They lack every skill required to provide a good experience. I unfortuntely decided to do two refinances through them and I regret every single minute of it. My first one took 129 days to complete and my second one took 143 days to complete even though they were started on the same date. The company failed at everything and doesn't deserve to be in business.

We started our process March 4 and to date August 11 we havent been able to pay our contractor for work already done. We were scheduled to close May 7 and didnt close until July 26. We even went so far as to ask for an audience with the President and Co-Founder...not even an acknowledgement. Weve provided this company with all documents needed and I even came to this company on recommendation. Despite the pandemic, this is not realistic, to have a refi/remodel take 5 months and STILL, the process not completed!

This company wasted my time. During COVID, I tried to refinance my mortgages. The process started in July and continued until May when I stopped sending them documents, and they finally rejected the refinances. Instead of being honest and telling me they couldn't do the deals, they just kept dragging it out. I have to give them credit for being responsive, but the staff changed during the process. In the end, I had to pay my accountant multiple times to create documents for Family First Funding. It felt like I was working for Family First instead of the other way around. I believe this business should be more upfront and direct with its potential clients in the future.

If I could give this company a negative star I would. One of the worst experiences I've ever had purchasing a property with a mortgage company. My team consisted of ***, ***, *** and they all were incompetent. My closing took place 2 weeks late and it was the most grueling experience I ever entailed. None of them knew what was going on half the time, *** was useless rude and a bully. The closing fees were almost *** and I never had a conversation with *** on the phone he didn't answer my call or return my voicemail. The only time he cared to speak to me was when I told *** whole team he was incompetent in an email. Anytime I would ask what the status is on the closing and documents I submitted to them for the 5th time they had no explanation and didn't respond to my emails. Not only that but when they did respond to my emails they didn't spell name correctly which was concerning when they are in charge of your loan processing. *** was her first day every day when you spoke to her and she wasted my attorneys time on checking title for the deed and he was very upset due to the fact that what he told her was correct to begin with and charged me more for his fees. I reached out to the *** of the company because of how frustrated I was with all these incompetent people I was dealing with and he didn't care or want to hear how terrible his employees are nice for a *** to be so concerned. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY FOR BUYING A HOME.

Waiting since August to close on our refinancing! They keep giving an excuse that they have fallen behind in processing application. Every time you think you are near closing, they continue to ask for repeated information since it was first submitted and the time limit has expired!

FFF suck! I guess I have to fill in eight more words. We are on our fourth month with them. We closed and because in the time it took wife took another job and now they want us to provide more info, more of my pay stubs and to set a date to re close which will involve signing and installing another half of ream of paper. You may think that this guy is needlessly complaining but we have already been around the block with these amutures three times. If your thinking of refinancing, think of someone else. Signed, Very Frustrated!

I had an unprofessional, disrespectful, condescending, disorganized, and overall horrible experience with this company. Their right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Due to their lack of organization and communication within their own company, they caused several delays and almost lost me my home due to the seller getting tired of waiting on their mistakes. They never took ownership of their mistakes and even went as far as to blame some of them on me. They lied on several occasions and when confronted and caught in their lies, became hostile with me. One of the members even went as far as to say “stop emailing me” when I continued to ask for answers because I refused to be bullied. This email was part of a thread that included lawyers, realtors and more. They showed nothing but a lack of experience, tact, basic respect, professionalism and sexism. I say this last part with 100% confidence because once I asked my husband to get involved with a phone call, they spoke to him with a much different tone and would answer his question and he wasn’t the one even getting the loan. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Not only was the experience unprofessional and disrespectful but they also delayed my home purchase by a month. Do not use this company.
