Reclining loveseat with console
On October 27, 2021, we purchased a reclining sofa (122-30-17 taupe) and reclining loveseat with console (122-23-17 taupe) with protectant and 2-year furniture warranty from Farmers Home Furniture, Seneca. SC. On November 3, the furniture was delivered. One of the delivery persons (can't read his name - Kenny Blakely? volunteered he knocked the loveseat into the white pole in front of our house several times, which resulted in getting a little white paint on the loveseat. He also stated he had a very bad back and was in pain. We offered him an aspirin but he refused. He had to set the loveseat down a few times in the living room before he actually placed it where it belonged (it is not a large living room). He asked for a rag to try to clean the white paint off the loveseat. When we looked at the loveseat, we noticed the alignment was off on one side, and the back of the two seats did not line up. We mentioned that to the delivery person and he said he would note it on the order and someone would come out to look at it. After they left, we noticed there were several knicks in our pole due to the delivery person knocking the loveseat into the pole. We dropped off pictures at the store showing the damaged caused by the delivery person. When I contacted the manager at the Seneca, SC, store Brandon said all he can do about the pole is refund the delivery fee of $79. We did not know what it would cost to repair the pole so we accepted it. We later spent about $294 to do the repair ($220 for a painter to do the repairs and about $74 for the paint).
On November 15, the furniture repair person came and spent an hour or two removing the back pieces and talking on the phone with several different people. He said he did not know if the furniture could be repaired and suggested it be replaced. Quite frankly, we believe the delivery person that knocked the loveseat into the pole caused the misalignment. I called Brandon and he said the furniture could be repaired (even though that was not what the repair person told us). After going back and forth several times, Brandon finally agreed the loveseat should be replaced and it would not be necessary to use our warranty. Brandon initially said if we got a replacement, that would use up our warranty and if we had any future problems, they would not be covered.
On November 29, I called Brandon and he said he could deliver a loveseat to us the same day. The same delivery person came and said he never slammed our loveseat into the pole (he originally told us he did and the pole was damaged due to his negligence). He then said he was giving us a showroom loveseat. He complained about the style of our house and how difficult it was to deliver furniture to us. Really? The moving men and the person we donated our old living room set which was the same size as the new one had no problem at all. Even he if had not told us it was a used model, it was very obvious due to the worn condition of the cushions, the squeaking noise when you rock in the chair, the looseness of the button to recline the loveseat, etc. I told Brandon the loveseat was used and smelled of smoke.
Brandon said he would give us another loveseat.
Since November 29, I have been calling Brandon asking when our new loveseat would be delivered. He kept telling me he did not know when he would receive one for us. On January 11, 2022, I again called Brandon. He said he had no idea when we would get our loveseat, and that new orders took priority over a customer that was waiting 2 ½ months for a new loveseat that was paid for back in October. He said we should have refused the replacement loveseat when it was delivered. I explained that we did not realize the poor condition it was in until after the delivery person left. I call Brandon every week or so (he has never called me) and he just tells me we will get a new loveseat when he gets a new one in.
We are very upset with this situation. We paid for a new living room set in October and are still awaiting the loveseat (the sofa was no problem).
In order to make this major inconvenience a little more bearable, we are requesting reimbursement of the total amount it cost us to repair our pole ($294) and a new loveseat be delivered to us within two weeks. We feel this is more than fair. Several of our friends and neighbors are thinking about buying new furniture. After we told them of our experience with Farmers Home Furniture, they are waiting to see how soon this can be resolved before they set foot in the Seneca, SC, store. The customer service at that store leaves much to be desired.

Employees are not friendly

Visit your store in Louisburg, NC on 07/20/2021. A Spanish lady was in her vehicle pumping her breast. I thought she was a customer to find out she was an employee. Also a heavy set light skin employee told the store manager she doesn't have to listen to him because he wasn't someone by the name of Tammy. While all of this was going on a young lady introduced herself by the name Ms. Davis and helped me while all of this was going on. She seem to be the only one with good customer service. This store really needs to be checked out.

Living room set
I am down right tired of this store keep sending employees to my house after carefully explaining to them when I will be able to make a payment. Its getting out of hand. Every other day of the week someone comes for a payment. When they ask me to call them I do and tell them when I am paying them.. I need this to stop ASAP. Pandemic has been rough!!

05/27/21 we ordered a king size bedroom set with a chest and a dresser in total will run about 3100+ dollars we told them we would be moving to texas soon mind you this is in oneida tn we get our set they tell us its a king set get to texas and guess what its a queen frame with a king mattress and my fiancée calls to get it fixed well 30+mins later with a rude woman her title was credit manager and they allowed someone new hire write up a sales report and she wrote the wrong sized bed frame and she even said yes its a king sized frame btw when they say they looked over there items before giving them out they really don't they hade given us damaged goods minor dmg but still all we want is our king sized frame the least they can do is add it to the bill and ship it to us but yet when i called customer service they hung up on me when i told them what i was calling about hade my fiancee call them on her cell phone and they ignored it had a friend call they answered the phone and i talked to the same woman then she hung up on me i kno this terrible company will go under with this type of work ethics

Credit reporting
Why does it take 3.months to report to credit agency's for on time payers ? When your company reports every month on delinquent accounts? It's not fair to every good customer. I like many others do pay on time. I have bought everything in my living room from Farmer's Furniture. I keep checking my credit and it reports my balance back in February. I just recently paid off my bill so accordingly to your reporting to credit agency's I will have to wait until June when my account is cleared. WHY?
Emily holt
Emily holt is rude to customers. Her manager lies to people to trick them into signing contracts then charges them extra after the fact. I was told my payments would be one way and then they charged me differently. When I tried to resolve the issue Emily holt was extremely rude about it. She even made the comment she could act how she wanted because she is credit manager.

I am very angry with an employee that works at the Farmers Furniture in Rome, Ga. to begin with we bought a used couch from there that had holes in it. Which we did get a $100 off for it. 2 months after we bought it my husband falls and shatters his elbow and is not able to work, we filled out our insurance forms with them from the doctor. I hate I purchased this Furniture. I got back in 2016 the back of the sofa broke 2018. And guess what the warranty gone and I still owe 2000.00 on it.
