Driver for package pickup at Speedway Motors in Kearneysville, WV
There is a main driver that picks up packages for the Speedway Motors building in Kearneysville, WV. He shows up before his 4:30 pm arrival time and takes the majority of the outgoing packages. He then comes back and grabs whatever is left. When he has to load the truck by himself, he literally throws the packages into his truck like a football. He had been recorded doing this and we have had numerous orders come back to be re-picked because the items are damaged when they get to their mailing destination. He and the supervisor, Ward Griffith, are now really good friends and, since the driver got a talking to by the manager, Ward makes one or more of the employees go load the driver's truck "as a courtesy" to him. We have to use the Fedex scanner, which I found out we are not to be doing since we don't work for Fedex, scan all the boxes, and load them onto the end of the Fedex truck. The driver then stacks them inside how he wants. If we do not help we get reprimanded by Ward, which is also wrong, because once again, we are not Fedex employees. I am writing this anonymously because we will face retaliation from the supervisor, Ward Griffith, if this complaint has any name attached to it.
Desired outcome: This driver be replaced if he cannot quit damaging our goods. The employees no longer be forced to do the driver's job.
shipment to Canada and returned packages
I tried a few times to solve this problem over the past months.
I disputed the charges and waited only to realize after a few weeks that it is not under dispute.
I have called a few times and got promised to receive a call back with someone that will help solve it, but no one called back.
I tried on 6/3/21 to call and was given a different number, tried that a few times but got disconnected after waiting a while.
I tried again on 6/4/21 after almost an hour and 4 agents I spoke to Dorothy M from revenue.
She said she can't do anything because it has been over 80 days since the invoice was issued.
There is no tracking of the dispute that was issued in April.
There is no tracking of any of the calls that were made since these invoices were issued.
The only proof I have is the email I have sent to our account manager in April, letting her know that I have disputed the charges and I am waiting to hear back from FedEx.
here is what happened -
We had 15 boxes going to Canada
A few hours after the shipment we realized that we forgot to attach some stickers to it.
we asked to get them back. We called and got calls back every few days only to be told after 10 days (when we still didn't receive the boxes) that the boxes will go first to Canada and then we might get them back. no guarantee.
when we called to get it back here the packages were just an hour away from our warehouse.
by the end - 8 boxes reached their destiny, 7 got back and we shipped them again.
We were charged for -
full shipment to Canada for these 7 boxes ($565.98) although they did not reach their destiny and were shipped back to us + $1912.36 to ship these 7 boxes back to us.
I do think we need to pay for this service to get it back, but this does not make sense.
first - we shouldn't have paid a full amount for the 7 that didn't reach their destiny
second - the cost to ship it back from Canada is wrong. I did the calculation with one of the customer service agents and it was supposed to be the same as when we shipped to Canada.
Right now our account is inactive. we can not ship.

Driver pulled up out front at 6 pm on the 4th. Your driver never got out of the truck, just stopped for about 10 seconds and took off. Just too lazy to take 1 box off the truck after I waited all day to sign for it! Then I get another reschedule notice.
Some real sorry service you have there. Someone needs to be trained or fired! We'll see how long I have to wait on him tomorrow to sign for this.

Products from our company were ruined due to our delivery driver placing 6 very large boxes in the pouring rain at our back neighborhood non functioning gate that is clearly locked. I happened upon them over 24 hours after delivery. Completely soaked through

Fedex driver came up our road on Firewood Lane, a private lane, flying up our private road in excessive speed, saw him on the way out our private lane and asked him to slow down he stated he was going 15 mph, that was a lie and told him so, verbal argument started.

I ordered from Natural Pet Warehouse. They sent my package Fed Ex. Fed Ex has been delivering to my address for about a year, never had a problem until now. The driver has called in the past when there is an issue with the delivery. This time it seems they could not find my address (guessing there was a new driver) because they left my package on the doorstep of the American Legion. The American Legion is in the area, but that is not my address and it didn't have American Legion anywhere on the delivery address. Thank goodness someone made a stop at the American Legion and tracked me down to get my package to me. It is very concerning that the Fed Ex Driver left my package at another place since it was already paid for and did not reach out to the phone number that was on the shipping label. delivery of a package
ordered off of gamestop and was sent an email with the date of delivery for 5/30/21. As of 5/29 the package was 2 hours south of me at 11:27pm. It then took 12 hours to reach Middletown ct which is also a 2 hour drive away for me. It took 12 hours for a package that passed through my state before going to a different one to be scheduled to go back to ny. after being in transit at Middletown ct the package "arrived" in Middletown, and i received an update saying that my 5/30 delivery is now going to be delivered 2 days later on 6/1. when i called customer service and ask 1) why i wouldn't be getting my package 2) why it was shipped to Connecticut through ny instead of to ny and 3)why a package was in transit for 2 hours at the facility before it was marked arrived, i was told i don't know. I was also told that i would not get any answers until at least 6/1 due to the Connecticut facility being closed on Sundays and for Memorial day. Why would you send a package to a facility that is closed if it was supposed to be closed. the answer to that was i don't know.

I have had multiple problems with the delivery of goods to my house. I have called the company and issued my complaint but nothing gets resolved cause problem continues. I live 300 feet down a driveway from the street. Thankfully I live in a small town with decent residents. My mailbox is on the road. In Dec., the fedx guy left a $500 laptop on the road next to the mailbox. I found it at 6am in the morning. Soon after that he left a box from Chewy with a $70 value on the road that I did not find till next morning. Third incident the guy did come down driveway cause he had a box with 15 bottles of wine that needed a signature, He told my husband, who was 82 at the time to take his box. He carried it to my door while the driver sped away not even offering to help. Three days ago he left a food perishable box on the street which was taken. That box of food was again delivered today and was not found til I went for the mail. Box was soaked due to rain. I do not know how this driver gets away with this when Fedx says their policy is to deliver to door. Driveway is fine, no holes and plenty of room to turn around. UPS and USPS have no problem, nor the oil delivery truck. And nothing gets done about problem. I would never send anything out by Fedx and I hope anyone who reads this does not use them either.

FedEx has been late delivering my packages several times recently. According to the customer service agent, my latest delivery may be a week late. The scheduled dilvery for this item by FED EX is Sunday May 23. I rescheduled my day around this item to being delivered on the scheduled day. Monday was planned out to put this item to use.

Friday 5/21/21 get an email saying delivery exception, no one home to receive package. This was marked as 9:03am. Today Saturday 5/22/21 we get the same exception with the exact same time listed. We are retired and almost always home with two vehicles in the drive way. Always home at 9:03am sitting at kitchen table reading and drinking coffee in front of a window that looks out the driveway to the street. No tags on door, no phone call no doorbell and nothing on security cams. Called customer service and I could hardly understand the rep who gave me the same info that was already available to me. Now they say they will try again on Tuesday 3 days from now. This happened to us not too long ago with the same problem. I also got an email just recently about the price increase Fed Ex is putting in place next month. Need some better management Fed Ex. Stop lying to your customers. Now an Ex customer.

Driver's attempt to deliver critical medication

Package required signature because it contained 2 containers of DUPIXENT (value $3, 700) that needed to be kept refridgerated or would be no good. The weather in Oklahoma is getting hot & I did not want this medication left on my porch. Driver could see a vehicle on driveway & a vehicle in open garage. Driver did NOT ring functioning doorbell. Driver lightly rapped on door which I didn't hear neither did my 4 yr old dog. My husband thought he heard something & went to check & found the Door Tag from FedEx. We were both home at this time. Driver could see from vehicles in driveway & open garage that people were home. Husband immediately called FE & got a recording that said box would be redelivered within 2 hours. I called the number on the DT & was told it would be delivered, not to worry. I called again later in the afternoon & was assured that the medication would be delivered. By dinner time, I gave up all hope. I had told the FE rep that I was going to open the box & if the ice was melted, I was refusing the shipment & FE could assume liability of $3, 700 for bad medication & poor delivery service.
Around 7:15 p.m. I received a call from a 3rd party courier service hired by FE & they were attempting to deliver the medication between 7:30 & 10 p.m. I recevied the medication at 8:25 that night with notification of a ringing doorbell & a gentleman who understood that I was going to open the box & check the contents before signing. The ice was intact & I signed for the packege.
BUT, WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL OF THE EMPTY PROMISES OF DAYTIME DELIVERY FROM FED EX? NOW they are allowing the Drivers to pick & choose how they deliver packages to homes? And When?
I am 67 years old; have 2 replaced knees & a back fusion so I do not move or get a around like a 21 year old. We have a dog who will bark at a doorbell, he is a watch dog. That is his purpose. Doorbells are to be used not just decorations. And don't treat Senior Citizens so discourtesly.
I tuly am a decent person & don't have any promblems with the US Postal Service or Prime or UPS. BUT, I will never knowingly use FedEx again. AND, in addition, I want disciplinary action taken against this particular driver for negligence & causing me unnecessary distress. I am sure I am not the only one complaining about this man's behavior & attitude.
AND, I expect a follow-up to this complaint detailing what actions were taken; and don't tell me he was given "talking to". That is not enough. If he did it once, you know there is a pattern involved.

I was delivered the wrong package. I tried to go thru the computer but the label did not have a tracking number, so I could not report it. I tried twice to call them. I could not understand the first person so after a few minutes of frustration I hung up. I tried later and got someone else that was also difficult to understand. He would not transfer me (he said he could not do that) and he also told me that he was not allowed to tell me his location. I was ready to put the package in the garage and just leave it there for 30 days...then trash.
I remembered in the past that I had great success talking to the person at the local phone number. I tried that and everything finally worked out. She confirmed the information for which they were asking (prefix info) was not correct.
800 and interest service is worse than not having it...my rating 0 (zero)

On May 19 and 20, 2021 we had two different shipments left at our mailbox curbside. We have a lot of problems with porch thieves in our neighborhood. This was an open invitation to the thieves to take our goods. Our deliveries have always been left on the porch and not outside on top of our USPS mailbox. It was fortunate that we were home and were able to retrieve them in a timely manner. I do not know why the driver decided to do this. This has never been representative of the delivery service of FedEx. It is our hope that it doesn't happen again. We don't want to have to file for lost goods. That is not good for either of us.
