FedEx delayed shipment

I read a lot of complaints about FedEx services on the web. If anyone Google FedEx complaints they will find a tons of unhappy customers. The fact is FedEx never deliver ontime. I recently purchase two cell phones online. I waited for it anxiously so i select a 2 days shipment vs overnight which cost too much. The tracking number indicate it is scheduled for delivery on the 28th. I track it online and at work. The status said it was out for delivery at 6:30 AM. I waited and waited. I check the status at work around 3 PM again online at 6:30 PM and no show. I then check again at 7:30 PM and it shows "Exceptions Delayed". How in the world FedEx driver take over 12 hours and still can't deliver my phone! I paid for 2 days shipment and now have to wait for 3 days. UPS always deliver on time. Lesson learned is never use FedEx again. They are notorious for late shipment. I hope that someone from FedEx is reading this and realize they have many dissatisfies customers.

I mailed necessary medicine to my wife that was scheduled for Fri 29th delivery, It was on the truck for delivery according to the tracking information. At the end of the day it showed up as a delivery exception, delivery not attempted will attempt delivery on next business day, Which will be the following monday, A delay of my wife's medicine of three unnecessary days. Which is total crap.
I will never use Fedex for a vital shipment again. As of this date UPS has never failed me.

My tracking number was [protected], My e-mail is merv@tonkindental.com, The driver probably took the afternoon off, and should be reprimanded. He or she will certainly get an ear full when delivery is finally made.

FedEx lost package

I ordered a package and selected 2-day priority FedEx delievery. Two days later I checked the FedEx website and the status of my package was "delivered, left at front door". I live in an apartment complex and they claimed to just have set the package outside my front door ! Almost 2 weeks later, FedEx is still avoiding the issue claiming they are "investigating". Foruntately it was only $50 lost. Avoid FedEx if at all possible.

I used a FedEx drop-off box outside a Post Office, this package was not scanned and is untraceable. I sent the following two e-mails to FedEx about it:
September 2, 2008

This is an e-mail I sent today to FedEx:

After many e-mails and phone calls, in which representatives were nasty and said they would not pay any claim, indeed, the last representative we spoke to said because you have no record of the package -- it was not scanned by whoever picked it up! -- that there was no box to scan. We *did* put the box into the drop off box outside the post office on MacDonald Avenue, in Brooklyn. Another theory is that the package was opened because we wrote "do not overheat" on the address label, because it contained chocolate as well as other items, and the contents could have been taken, eaten by your employee(s). One representative responded to this by saying you don't employ theives, the inference being that we are lying about having sent the package. This is shameful and outrageous on the part of at least two different representatives. When we asked the second rep. for his name, he hung up.

I understand that there may be cameras outside the post office and it is my intention to check and see if there is a visual record to counteract your opinions that we are lying about sending the package.

If we are lying, why would we fill in an address label? I also understand that some new FedEx employees do not scan packages when they're picked up.

As to not employing theives, well, you employ people and I intend checking various places on the internet to find other people who have lost packages sent by FedEx, and I will add my own experiences wherever and whenever I can, including friends, and various websites and blogs. I have not ruled out small claims court and if, as I believe, there are many others whose packages you have lost, I may initiate a class action suit.

Be advised, also, that we have not yet put in a claim, so all this nastiness is doubly insulting. Given that the amount involved is a mere $30-50 is it likely we would spend all this time trying to get FedEx to acknowledge culpability?

Today:
There are video cameras outisde the Post office on MacDonald Avenue, Brooklyn which should have recorded the package being dropped off on August 16, it was after the last pick up time for the day. Your research, I assume, included contacting the Post Office on this, as I have told you about the cameras before. Either it was not scanned or it was opened becasue I had "do not overheat" on the address label. When you deny my claim, which incidently I have not yet actually made, you are suggesting that I am trying to defraud you out of $50. In other words you are calling me a a liar. This is unacceptable to me personally, I do not take defamation of character likely and if I do not receive complete satisfaction, I will certainly take this matter further. If your research did not include checking the Post Office tapes, you are being negligent in your investigation which will be brought up in any legal action.

I'm surprised people continue using Fedex ... This must be the worst company of all! They were supposed to deliver an envelope to a friend's apartment last week; this envelope contained a new Credit Card. The envelope was never delivered although Fedex promised day after day that they would deliver it ... and then stated that they were there and nobody opened the door... BS... nobody came... Well, thank God we called the bank on time and cancelled the account - they advised that the Card had been activated...LOL... Unbelievable! Hope the whole country could read this post!

The same thing happened to me. Except I was sending my laptop for service with a preprinted address label (FedEx) at one of their drop off boxes. My laptop was never scanned, on top of that, the pick up driver, according to witnesses, left the box on top of the drop off box for days. Yes, he just left it there, because he didn't recognize the manufacturer's preprinted FedEx shipping label. Needless to say, it was stolen quickly. My $3, 600 laptop going in for a simple fix. After all that, and FedEx's intolerable customer service, I camped out at the local station and talked to the manager several times, begging for any sort of compensation. The driver even admitted to this lapse of judgement, all the while standing in the lost items section of the local fedex store where they keep ratty old sweaters and odd objects left in boxes for people to claim, but NOT packages with their own labels? Wow. I have vowed never to use FedEx by choice again in my life, and I'm opening my own company now which will be heavily using delivery. I will only use USPS or UPS, never FedEx again. Over my lifetime, their loss will be in the hundreds of thousands at the minimum. Idiots. (yes I'm still angry).

You think your problem is bad. Read this!

www.goodmaid.com

If you read this you will NEVER use a maid service again!

First off, I had a hot date and hoped to take her back to my place..."you know, to have some milk and read the Bible".

I can't believe I tried to use this service but I didn't have time to clean up myself. I needed maid service so I thought I would try someone that I found online. Big mistake! Even their website is down now. It's now just a bunch of lewd advertisements.

I talked to them and they said they could come out the next day but it would cost me an extra $20 bucks. I guess I'm a sucker.

I left the door of my apartment unlocked so they could get in.

When I got back home, they had left a note on the door saying it was going to cost extra to clean my apartment. WTF! I already paid an extra $20 bucks for same day service. When I went in they had not even cleaned and you will NEVER believe what I found in the bathroom. You have got to look at the pictures. Prepare to be disgusted. Warning! Graphic! Not for youth.

I was really upset! I am on a tight budget anyway. I save most of my money my cigarettes (Benson & Hedges) and I like to eat out once in a while. That's about all the pleasure I get out of life. (well, except for an occasion date)

I have posted pictures of my apartment on this website. When you see these you're gonna see why I was disgusted.

http://www.houston-imports.com/dirty/dirty.html

It wasn't all that dirty. I even left some cleaning supplies out and I took my cats to a friends so that they were not in the way.

I'm really pissed! I want my $20 bucks back that I payed with my credit card.

Thanks for listening.

Cheers. Chad

FedEx drop-off boxes DO NOT EXIST on US Post Office premises. You are devoid of any intelligence or ability for cognitive reasoning and rational thought. I'm continually amazed that people like you manage to avoid accidental death resulting from tying your shoelaces.

FedEx terrible service

Understaffed and ill trained. After being told my simple color copying job (400 copies) could not be done until the next day, I used a color copier to self service print what I needed. Using paper I purchased from them (gloss finish) I attempted to copy. After numerous mis feeds, paper jams (which I cleared myself-no staff available) and an fee meter that seemed multiply instead of add I left w/o finishing my job as my fee added up to close to $475.

Lesson learned-it's cheaper to color print at home. For $75 in printer cartridge ink and a ream of gloss paper I could have done the same thing w/o the frustration and outright price gouging.

My response is not so much about customer service. Although I will say that my recent experiences using FedEx Kinko's copy machines have been good. Since they seemed willing to tell me how to use their machines and was refunded for all bad copies.
So my complaint is about their sideline of accessories such as pencils, pens, etc. Because I recently purchased a three-pack of mechanical pencils going on three dollars. And found that two of them wouldn't spin out their lead, as well as having both erasers pop off the back. However, the third pencil was a lucky charm and worked. So I went back to the store to get a refund. But instead, got a clerk who managed to fix one pencil by getting the lead to spin out. But then preceded to tell me that they don't give refunds on opened packages.
So then, I have two good pencils. But my question is, does anyone think that FedEx Kinko's no-refund policy for opened packages to be a fair one for both store and customer, (even after being told by the asst. manager that they've never had a return on any non-paper items?)

I too worked for a Kinkos in Bozeman, Montana and had a similar experience. They are just massively understaffed. There are many complicated machines in the customer 'Self-serve' area, and most of the customers have trouble using them, so a staff member takes care of them. They offer packing and shipping through Fedex, which is handled by another staff member. There is an order taker, an order production person, and a quality control person. Lastly, an assistant manager and a store manager. Seven people. When I was working there, it would routinely be me and one other person, plus a pair of worthless managers who sat in the back office writing emails all day. Stress doesn't begin to describe it. I eventually burnt out completely, started making trouble for the worthless managers (asking them to do their jobs!), got written up for a bunch of meaningless crap everybody did, and quit.

Kinkos Employee Insight
I work at a kinkos in the valley and run production. The person in question should have assisted you in feeding the paper the correct way in the printer. There is no excuse for the poor customer service you received, and I would definitely bring it up and ask to speak to a manager. With the economic downturn, most likely a manager will be available during office hours (9-5) on weekdays. Unfortunately employees are spread thin and those with tenure are spread few and far between. It seems the person you dealt with had no expertise in the production part of the business. We definitely need more training in most areas, as you can never learn too much, but our customers also need more advocacy, but since we are a corporation, they tell us to say yes we can, no matter how tight the schedule.

We have our ups and downs, however there are some duds that are burnt out and only stick around for the paycheck. This is not my chosen career path, it pays my bills, but irregardless, it boils down to work ethic. Either you got it or not. I come in everyday and try to exceed my customer's expectations by providing pleasant knowledgeable service. This company is concerned w/ its bottom line. TWe have fewer people on each shift, sometimes having to work by ourselves, handling Shipping, Production, Signs and Banners ancd Customer Service.

I get it is part of the game, but the company has let us down. They are not staffing sufficiently, They cut our bonuses, they stopped matching our 401k. they launch a new campaign called "Clean and Bright" - where we basically have to double as the cleaning crew. The CEO yes you Mr Fred Smith has the audacity to Insult President Obama. All this while sponsoring a Nascar driver/car and footing the bill for SuperBowl commercials. Get back to the basics man. Stop giving it to the little man Show some Corporate Responsibility if that still means anything today. This is just my twenty cents, Thanks for the platform. Kinkos Employee Valley of the Sun

I completely disagree with you 100 percent. I recentally went to a fed ex kinkos to have 150 copies printed out because my charished parrot had flown off my shoulder and I was headed out to place these around the neighborhood, and on doors.
Story behind this is, Sunny flew off my shoulder when the shut of a car door startled him, it was night time, so when he flew away I only knew what direction he went not where he was. So I printed off one flyer that I was going to place a colored picture to. I Left for walgreens to get the picture printed off, on the way there I got hit head on by a drunk driver, mind you this was at 11pm at night. My seatbelt did not hold me and I hit my head on the windshield and knee on the dashboard, I was taken to the hospital. They put me on pain meds en route and they kept pumping me with them through the night, but I had to remain awake through all of this because I had a concushon. I was finally released from the hospital at 4 am, I had dislocated me knee and had a concushon but no horrible injuries. By the way whiplash showed up a couple of days later, and I suffered the side effects from the concushion and whiplash for six months afterwards.
ANYWAY THIS STORY IS BESIDE THE POINT, its just letting you know a little of the night I had before I dealt with kinkos .I stayed awake until the sun came up and went to have the picture made and then went to kinkos. Not only did they help me with getting the copies made, they did this all at no charge. I am not saying go there when you need flyers for your lost pet and they will do it free, BECAUSE I AM SURE THAT IS NOT THE CASE, I am just saying that they are caring and compassionate.
By the way, while handing out the flyers I found Sunny in a tree at about 10 am that day and after four hours of coaxing him he finally flew into my arms. Moral of the story
1. Kinkos Fed Ex are AMAZING
2. Get your pet bird a leash and harness, even with thier wings clipped the wind can carry them away on you

Dear Friend,

How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family and i also hope that this email meets you in a Good condition since i have lost contact with you for so long.

I have been waiting for you ever since to contact me for your Confirmed Bank Draft of $850.000.00 United States Dollars that was allotted to you but I did not hear or receive any email or phone calls from you ever since that time, Then I went and deposited the Bank Draft of $850, 000.00 with FedEx Couriers Limited, West Africa, I then traveled out of the country for a 3 Months Course and I will not come back till end of December.

For your information, I have paid for the delivering Charge, Insurance premium and Clearance Certificate Fee of the Cheque showing that it is not a Drug Money or meant to sponsor Terrorist attack in your Country.

The only money you will send to the FedEx Couriers Limited to deliver your Bank Draft directly to your postal Address in your country is ($250.00 US) Dollars only being Security Keeping Fee of the Courier Company so far.Again, don't be deceived by anybody to pay any other money except $250.00US Dollars.

I would have paid for that also but the FedEx Courier Group said no because they don't know when you will contact them and in case of demurrage.You have to contact the FedEx Couriers Limited now for the delivery of your Draft with this informationbellow;

Contact Person: Mr. Jacob Walter
Email Address: [protected]@yahoo.pl
Telephone:+[protected]

Finally, make sure that you reconfirm your Postal address() and Direct telephone number to them again to avoid any mistake on the Delivery and ask them to give you the tracking Pin Number to enable you track your package over there and know when it will get to your address.

Let me repeat again, try to contact them as soon as you receive this mail to avoid any further delay and remember to pay them their Security Keeping fee of $250.00 US Dollars for their immediate action. You should also letme know through email as soon as you receive your Draft. Yours Faithfully,

This is a scam, that you fell for. By that I mean, you actually thought it was from Fedex.

FedEx fedex driver hit my car

My workplace sends packages everyday by Fedex. We have a regular driver but on March 31st of 2009, we did not. I was leaving work and noticed that Fedex had arrived and he was parked in the isle as usual. The van was parked with no lights on and it wasnt running, so I continued to back out my spot. i was almost cleared and more than half way out of my spot when i noticed the Fedex van flying backwards towards me! i quick pulled forward back into my spot as i laid on the horn and the driver never even slowed down until he hit my driver side rear fender of my NEW car! The driver never said anything, no apology, even when the police were called and now I am dealing with their insurance company. It took me 2 weeks to for them to file the claim and the driver never even notified his manager and he has the nerve to say the whole thing was my fault when his insurance had to call him... he had no damage to his vehicle but took pictures of my car's damage?... please! the damage isn't too bad, its just an inconvenience now. according to others, Fedex's insurance is something great but i have yet to see this 'greatness' people talk about. The girl handling my file is a complete dip and she first told me Fedex would pay for the damage and then she took it back and said i will have to front half if i want my car fixed... hell no. i will never use fedex again!

Same situation with the driver.. He gets out the truck says it's my fault and begins to snap photos. Doesn't ask how I'm doing, if I was hurt. He says he has witnesses saying it is my fault and was being such a dick about the whole situation. It was clear the driver ran a light and hit me as I was switching lanes.. I have his info I just can't get a hold on their insurance

FedEx horriable service/ theft of packages

You people LIE! First after your mistake I waited 4 days for Edward to call me back( manager at Fed EX Kinko's). FUNNY he never got back to me with any type of explanation as to where my packages are. So I got ahold of the next manager Brandon after another four days he showed that he is worthless also. Brittany is the only employee that even tried to help. The whole mix up was due to a small mistake she made. I know none of us are perfect. But your employees have failed over and over again. They have lied to me giving me different bogus stories on where my stuff is at. It figures now FedEx has lost the original paper work for my shipment. Tomorrow is Easter and after three weeks of dealing with this crap my nieces and nephews will not have their Easter baskets. Your company as a whole is dishonest and crappy! I was told today, "We technically have until 7:30 to deliver toady". You have had my stuff for THREE weeks. You did not have anyone sign for the package and there is no report of it being to be picked to be redelivered! Figures, you failed again. I have tried to get my stuff back so many times it has giving me high blood pressure. If I end up in the hospital due to too high of a blood pressure I will own a bit of your company. If you Corporate have any concern for your customers will find out why you all failed to do your jobs and why you are paying so many slackers when many people could use a good job in today's economy. I will be filing theft charges Monday morning on your driver. He did not scan the packages in according to any of your employees so he must have stolen them!

Stacy Falcon [protected] PS I hope your kids are happy with their baskets!

FedEx Never received package

I order some tickets for my husband birthday March 21, 2017 and was suppose to recieve them the 25th, I never recieve them and the game was for April 5. As of this day I never recieve any tickets, ive been calling them and no one was able to solve my problem. The driver claim he left them at my door step they were never there. So finally some one contacted me yesterday from the local office that she had my package in her hand. So basically I paid shipping for nothing. Also had to get more tickets and I believe the driver had stolen my package. I will never ever do bussiness with fedex again if I can help it.

Check status in afternoon when I realize delivery not made. Called fedex, told that they made a mistake and put it on the wrong truck. Told them when it gets back, put it on another truck and deliver it. No can do, it will be delivered tomorrow. Not good enough, I say, can I pick it up. No you cannot. Well than deliver it today. No can do. You made the mistake, why should I suffer for it. Sorry, we really are sorry, but there is nothing else we can (will do) for you.

Item returned to facility at 1:22pm per tracking on-line, plenty of time to get it to me. But that would inconvenience fedex in Bethlehem, PA.

On June 1, FedEX picked up a package for delivery to my home, their website showed it was on truck for delivery to my home. On June 2, it was returned to FedEX because they said they could not locate address.

FedEX has delivers here at least 4 times year, but now they can't find it. On June 3, they said it is back on truck for delivery. We call them at 8:20 pm and are told it will be here in 30 minutes.

On June 4, their website shows it attempted to deliver but customer was not home. I have been here for 8 days without leaving the property so they obviously lie.

This morning, June 4, they say it is on truck for delivery and they can't take it off truck because it will take 2-3 days to return to company. We are told someone has to be here for delivery. We had other appointments scheduled for the day. FedEX ***!

Come on FedEx you are not leaving planet earth!

FedEx used to advertise "When it absolutely, positively needs to be there overnight". Well, I've had two negative experiences in a row now. I spent an ungodly amount to ship an overnight package to Canada. Two months later and no info from FedEx in between, it got delivered. I understand Customs issues, but would think FedEx would have been able to provide info on delivery status. They couldn't. Now my dryer went out. I found the needed part online and could get it next day (had FedEx done their part) as opposed to two days from a local supplier. I paid double the price of the part in shipping to get it a day sooner. Well, it's been five days now and FedEx cannot find it. Their "customer service" couldn't give two hoots. I am all for private enterprise vs. government, but this company has made me prefer the US Postal Service. Quite an accomplisnment, and not in a good way.

Hi,
We went to the FedEx office at Huebner Oaks, San Antonio, Texas; to print some black & white pictures. We have been to FedEx office (Same Location) before and printed pictures several times. We used to print 16"*20" sized pictures. We were charged 2$ approximately for each copy. But today we were charged 5.14$ for just a single copy which is absurd. We are so much disappointed by the service provided. The Team member on the bill is Melissa L. And the bar code is [protected]. We have been using FedEx service regularly, but this one is truly disappointing. Please look into this and make sure u regulate the costs which should not vary according to the person who generates the bill.

Thank you.
Mrs.Sumaya Asath.

Fed ex makes insuring and delivery of packages very troublesome. First they do not really insure packages and if you do with shipper a signature is required in person. I was off Saturday and Fed Ex says they made a delivery attempt at 10:00 but driver missed me ( probably in back yard mowing). Called to see if they would make a delivery attempt Monday because I was off, but they do not make delivery attempts on Monday. Asked if I could come pick up-- again facility for pick up not open on Monday. So my options are to take my time and drive the Greenville to pick up or set up another day for a delivery attempt and hope that I see them at the particular time they make their attempt.

I just wanted to let everyone know that fedex isnt as bad as everyone says! we del. pkgs on time if the weather isnt a factor. Or anything else out of our control! Plus i just wanted everyone to know if you would actually take a look at our service guide in the back there is a thing called surcharges it lets you know what you pkg could get charged for while in route! I have used fedex a many of years and they have never failed on me! so everyone who has an issue with fedex keep it to yourself ! omg if you people wouldnt call in ### all the damn time over a penny or a dollar then fedex wouldnt be adding add. surcharges to your pkgs in the future please be aware of the fine print! IT MEANS ALOT WITHIN FEDEX! ALSO JUST SHUT UP! UPS ISNT BETTER AND DHL WENT OUT OF BUS!

I am yet to get a package delivered by FedEx Ground on first try. They never can find my address, they even say it doesn't exist. If they do find it, they don't come before 6 p.m. when I am definitely home.

Why do I never have a problem with FedEx but I always have a problem with FedEx Ground? I cringe when I see that is how they are going to send my package.

I recommend to everyone I can, never use FedEx Ground if you can help it. FedEx Ground are the worst carriers ever!

I ordered my kids christmas gifts from a large online retailer. Order was shipped using 2 day shipping. It never turned up. After contacting the shipper they have said that Fedex lost the package 'in transit'. However the website says that the package is at 'fedex facility'. Now this is a pretty large box and weighed 68pounds. Tried to contact these folk to find out what is going on. Got an automated reply, but they never bothered to reply...

Never again FEDEX.

Fedex uses shady practices they picked up a item from Washington dc and were supposed to deliver to my home in nyc within 1-5 business days i called on the 4th day to get the status of the delivery they told me the package had been delivered and no one was home to accept it! I work out of my home I am always there. Then they told me that the package never got on there truck and that I would receive it the next day .I am still waiting for it. I live about 2hrs from dc I could have drove there and picked up the package myself about 20 times by now and spent less money on shipping which was 75 dollars. Then i found out that they use private carriers to do there services these people are really not part of there company they are just hired contractors what a surprise! It just goes to show you that the major companies in this country are not what they used to be they downsize for bigger profits and leave the consumer out to dry do not use there services try dhl or go pick it up yourself good luck and god bless America!

FedEx refund

On July 24, 2008 I shipped a package from Great Falls, MT to Sacramento, CA with a promised delivery date of 7/27/08. Instead of my package going to Sacramento it ended up in Newark, NJ.

FedEx did finally get my package to the right coast and promised an immediate refund of my shipping charges. It is now 8 months later and I'm still waiting for my refund!

I have made numerous phone calls, mailed and faxed copies of my shipping documents, receipts, etc., and they still have not sent me a refund check.

I thought 6 to 8 weeks to wait for a refund was a little bit too long to wait, but 8 months?

Come on FedEx SEND ME MY REFUND!

I have tried several times to contact FedEx customer service so that I can pick up my package from the driver. There response was that they will try to contact the driver to see if he can attempt to deliver the package later. I never received a phone call or an e-mail to notify me of the status of the package. Hours later I called FedEx and they told me that the driver is not going back to the location. I would have to wait until monday for the next attempt. I specifically had the package sent overnight so that I wouldn't have to go through all this mess. I was home all day and didn't hear the door knock nor the doorbell ring. This is costing me hundreds of dollars for my business and yet still no package. Also, many of your customer service representatives were either really rude or they all gave me several different responses. I didn't know what or who to believe. Thank you FedEx for the worse costumer service ever.

FedEx don't expect too much from fedex to go the extra mile!

I had a package I shipped by FedEx to the Philippines and the Philippine Customs had taken a keen interest on it. The package contains prescription medication for my father. For some unknown reason, the Philippine Customs has decided to hold it hostage. I had asked FedEx representatives both here in the US and in the Philippines to determine the reason for the delay and to provide advice. None of the FedEx people I have spoken with can give any detail except this: It's in Philippine Customs, so basically you're screwed, because Philippine Customs can do what they damn well please.

I find it absurd that a major international shipping company like FedEx do not have people representing them in other countries' customs in order to resolve issues that might arise concerning shipments of their customers. So for FedEx to tell me I'm basically on my own, it's quite disheartening and upsetting.

It's been 2 weeks since Philippine Customs shanghaied my package and FedEx hasn't done a damn thing. I asked FedEx to ship the package back to me and they said they cannot guarantee the package can be returned, because, again, Philippine Customs can do what they damn well please. Plus I will still need to pay for taxes and duties in order for the package to be returned to me. And of course, I will need to pay FedEx for shipping both ways, according to FedEx customer service.

Is there justice in this world? I guess not, specially when you're dealing with FedEx and a third-world country's Customs.

I guess before I was under the impression that FedEx will take care of your shipping needs. Now, I know better.

Never will I use FedEx again!

I see a lot of comments here saying it is not FedEx's responsibility during customs. Actually, this is far from the truth.

All couriers use a broker system, the broker is the representative of the courier and he is at the BoC 24/7 making sure packages go through the right channels and that documents are correctly processed. They represent both the client and the company but also are supposed to convey customs instructions to the client, hence the name broker.

Now the problem with FedEx brokers compared to DHl etc is the companies practice of charging storage fees. DHl etc do not do that. Fedex will charger per day regardless of package suitability and size. Thus Fedex are under no incentive to move the package quickly to favor the client. the longer it stays with customs the more you must pay Fedex in storage fees.

That is where the problem lies with FedEx and why things take so long at customs.

FedEx here in Philippines are useless. They bought the name and made it into a money extortionist. The gov't here should get involve but the gov't itself is already corrupt. They are just riding along with the system, which is totally ###! On june 30th, I will make damn sure that PRES. DUTERTE will be able to fix this kind of problem. This not only hurt the business owners but also the people that were supposed to get something from someone, who cant afford to afford to buy things, can't even afford to pay for customs. I agree that sometimes, the customs here in Philippines are just plainly dumb and stupid. I hope that we can do something about this. I will display my email here for anyone who wants to petition on having this case be public and be investigated. -tumulakm@gmail.com-

While I would agree that what Philippines Customs does isn't under the control of FedEx, it seems ridiculous to me that they throw their clients to the wolves and have no way of helping when the circumstances clearly indicate that the government in the Philippines is taking advantage. I am sure they have a lot of "abandoned" packages -- that's what happens when the FedEx employee politely calls to let you know that your are going to be charged significantly more than the value of the items in taxes/fees/legal extortion or you can pay them to ship the package back to you. The average person doesn't have anyone to intervene for them in the Philippines, presumably, that would be part of FedEx having a shipping business there! So who exactly gets all those abandoned packages? The same FedEx people who are paid to deliver them in the first place or do they revert to the local government officials who are assessing the taxes/fess/ legal extortion money? Don't ship to the Philippines using FedEx, it is a scam and FedEx needs to stop taking money to deliver there when they know that these sorts of things are happening!

Its one thing that they charge for new items purchased from abroad, its another when you're having your used, personal things charged for tax as well... they should have the common sense to determine which items are purchased on which items are used already.

I am currently being charged P6, 000 for items that I lost during my stay in the United States (Los Angeles in particular). Disneyland found the items and shipped them to my sister COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE. Then my sister sent the items to me here in the Philippines, and suddenly I'm taxed P6, 000. The items include my old Ipad (which I had already owned since last year), My 4-year old son's shoes and clothers, and a used milk bottle. They probably have their eyes on the Ipad, but all they need to do is open it up and check if its used already --- I have no password on it, so that should be easy enough to do.

Whether Fedex or the Philippine Customs is culpable of these oversights is immaterial; that's just passing the buck to whoever cannot respond to a customer complaint. It is an overall completely onerous system that should be able to distinguish between personal items (owned already and otherwise) and items that are used to generate income (for business). You would expect, that in this day and age, both parties would already have come up with ways to mitigate fiascos like this.

In the end, the impression people get from both parties are bad: With Fedex its incompetence and not being able to live up to their promise of on-time delivery. With the Philippine Customs, its another piece of evidence contributing to an already long list of impressions that project an image of the government's, incompetence, and general lack of regard for the common folk. To say that this continues to fuel suspicion (and I am trying to phrase this rather diplomatically) that the Customs department is one of the more corrupt government divisions (ever instituted and managed by the leaders of this country) is a HUGE understatement.

I agree with the first reply. Shipping companies' responsibilities does not include representing recipient of the package. Everything shipped to the Philippines is subject to customs duties, Vat, doc stamp and processing fee. Customs officials however can make an exeption base on their assesment whether a package deserves to be charged or not. Sometimes it just depends on their mood or if they still need to meet their targets. Every little peso helps them reach their target as the government is severely out of funds. I think the customs official failed to realise the urgency of the prescription medicine and he should be reprimanded however as we all know filing charges of negligence is a lot of hassle and the official can always hide behind the bureau and site lack of training in determining importance of certain packages just as motor vehicle drivers will always be at fault if he/she hit a pedestrian even if the pedestrian jumped deliberately in front of the vehicle. Poor government system.

we don't really have a good and fair regulation in custom also to protect the receiver which they have to pay for the duties and taxes. Mine is, my cousin sent me some "used" cellphones and they still let me pay for these duties and taxes which upsets me too much. Not fair at all...As for Fedex, they know the ins and outs and they can even make some ways out of it...and I should know...

FedEx breaching pricing contract

Need an Civil attourney to sue FEDEX- $1, 000, 000 (houston)

Need to sue Fedex for changing my rates after they have been shipped, although, I had my rates guaranteed in writing. After a year of my account manager telling me it was cleared up, they are now harrising me again.

there was 2 parts to my agreement,

everything would be billed at class 60, and at a 62% discount.

They changed my tarriffs, after I called about miss-billing. However they did not tell me, and then after a year of shipping with them, said that it was not part of the oiginal agreement.

And now they are trying to collect, I always paid up-front for my shipping cost at the time they picked up my shipments. Now they are trying to extort even more money out of me, by telling me if I don't pay the extra money they tried to charge me, they will drop the other part of the discount (62%), that was part of every shippment and get even more.

They talked me into leaving the my other shipping company who gave my the same tarriffs/discounts, by promising they would beat them by $20-$40 on every shipment, now they are trying to collect several hundred more on every shippment. I would have never quit using the other shipping company, had they not offered me these discounts...

They are scammers, I want to sue for a $1, 000, 000.00 and maybe press criminal charges for extortion against them. The tricked me into shipping with them, and now won't let me breathe with all the harrisment.i don't care how big of a company they are, big companies who inspire trust, should get their ### handed to them when trying to pull crap like this.

James,

It's called 'bait and switch'. Call your state attorney general.

Is this the reason why Clickonfurniture.com refuses to ship merchandise to customers who have already paid? The Homeless Family Center in Vero Beach, Florida paid 3 months ago and the merchandise was never received.

If you are knowingly taking money from customers when you are unable to ship the merchandise, this is theft and in this particular case, theft of federal funds designated for the homeless - a federal crime. And you have provided the proof needed to convict right here on the internet. Ship the merchandise or refund the money or we will have the Florida State Attorney General file criminal charges.

FedEx Phony charge scams and bullying customers

This not the first complaint like this I've seen but if you have a similar experience with FedEx, post it up here.

FedEx seems to be just making up phony charges after they deliver packages and then threatening legal action if people don't pay these so called extra charges.
Here's what happened to us,

My daughter went from Canada to Edinburgh, Scotland for a 7 month working vacation. For her to take a second suit case with her on the airplane would've cost her about $100CDN, so we agreed to ship some of her cloths over to her later via FedEx. What a mistake that turned out to be.

Because we wanted to get her clothes to her by Christmas we paid FedEx $186.13CDN to send an 11kg. box to Edinburgh.
Filling out the FedEx customs forms was murder and took us about two (2) days to get it right.
Anyway about five (5) days later on Christmas Eve she received the package.

After the New Years celebrations in Scotland my daughter received a notice from FedEx of an assessment of an additional £30.00 which is about $54.47CDN. Keep in mind this is for clothing that she already owned.
FedEx is stating the charge is a RETURN charge that UK Customs MIGHT have assessed but they saved her the hassle of dealing with UK Customs and are charging her a service for that, but they're not calling it a brokerage fee.
To this point they've sent her three notices and issued a notice of legal action.
Now can someone explain WTF a RETURN charge on your own personal belongings is, since these USED items have never been to Scotland before?
And can someone explain how the F*#k FedEx can say they are charging someone a £30.00 RETURN charge, but it's really a service charge for saving you the hassle of dealing with UK Customs? I mean which is it?

If she pays this £30.00 that will bring the grand total that we have paid FucdEx to deliver an 11kg box of personal clothing from Canada to Scotland to $240.60CDN or £132.50.
Do that sound like sane competitive charges to you? Or does it sound like FedEx is scamming their customers with charges that they just making?
Has FedEx lost their freaking minds? You tell me.

Just in case FEDEX is reading this and gives a hoot.
Hey FedEx, you just screwed yourself out of any additional shipping from me, my family or any of my companies.
Plus I'm going to spread this all over the internet so that other potential FedEx customers are aware before you get the chance to scam them, that you make up phony charges and threaten and bully little defenseless young women with legal action if they don't pay.
Also I've been seeing many other complaints similar to mine on the internet and it's obvious that you've been scamming people like this for many years now .
The words "class action suit" keep jumping into my mind.

i baught a 500 gram pack of tea from argentina via ebay.
The cost of the tea was 90 nkr which is not cheap - ebay said there could be extra charges - the total came to 195 kr. Under no circumstances would i pay that much so to start with i was scammed.
2 weeks later i recieved a bill for 295 kr - purporting to be import tax and associated costs - the import tax if there is one would be less than 30% - that is 30% of the cost of the tea.
An interesting thing was the bill (genuine) came complete with the name of a debt collecting firm in Norway.
I complained mightily - the fedx complaints proceedure is dense - appears you have to be a member, difficult to become a member - but in the end i managed to get an email through - ahh, dont worry weel put this off for 3 months (whaat? This is a fully adult company)
Next bill for nearly 400kr via the debt collecting company - told them id go all the way -
so far theyve left me alone but ive heard so many stories of people who just pay - jewlery for 3000kr, then a bill for 2, 000 - easier to pay.
So what is happening here - is it really true?
A major international company SCAMMING ITS CUSTOMERS?
Why not - i hear some of the other delivery companies are now doing the same.
This is fraud - clear and simple

Fedex has been placing unauthorized charges on my debit card lately. No invoice, no shipment, nothing, just plain old fraud... by whom? By FEDEX, FEDERAL EXPRESS! Guess what? Huge corprations are in bed with each other. So when I placed a dispute (chargeback) to all those fraudulent charges, thefts of my funds by FEDEX, my bank, Bank of America Claims Department decided that... FEDEX was right! And so now FEDEX decided to just plain STEAL funds from my card, but I don't give up and am going to sue FEDEX. My bank has reopened the case (what a shame they never asked any docs from me or proof or fraud) before they ruled in favour of FEDEX. Now they are re-evaluating my case, especially I had to threaten them with lawsuit. Now the entire world knows that fedex has come down a bit to the level of low life thiev, a scammer and a fraud. Here's just one of their tricks. I place documents into a FEDEX envelope and seal it well. They pick it up and prop up me to pay $120 instead of $55. Hmmmm, really? But thats "nothing" in comparison what happens next. Then after I weigh my envelope and write down it weighs 150 grams, Fedex picks it up and records 500 grams instead. And much more... they ship to a wrong country, wrong recipient AND take 2 weeks to do that! There's more... then I demand them to ship to the correct address that was inscribed by me by hand on the envelope (just in case). Instead the freaking fedex returns it to me and charges me $80 for the return shipment in addition to the $120. Now $200 poorer I got my docs back and am at point zero... Then, there's even more... I need it shipped, so before I submit a claim to their stupid useless fedex.com I pay another $60 re-weigh it, it is 160 grams again, and they pick it up and finally deliver it after 3 weeks! FEDEX, a speed courier!? Then comes the extra mysterious charges and more charges on top. Then months later... more charges... but my online account shows no invoice no document what for was this all charges charged me for? Nothing, just plain fraud. Fedex never responds, no reply, no answer, what are these charges for? They ignore me, but charge my card for more fraudulent unauthorized charges. You think the word has come to the end, don't you? Well the criminals who run the company are just hAving FUN pissing people off, but not for much longer. I, my friends, my family, all my relatives now have withdrew from consumption. It's a BOYCOTT to all the corporations. WE only buy minimal food and hobby items. No wonder their company name is FED...EX... they got fed up doing normal business and are soon becoming an EX... Fedex the new THIEF on the block and a new curseword... SEARS, FEDEX, EBAY, MONSANTO hahahaha, stop cursing and wash your mouth...

This shipment is supposed to arrival at my doorstep today, but to my surprise, the package did not arrive. The reason give was: No one was there! The address is my company and there is always someone in the office serving customer unless going to the loo. I am very furious about this matter because:

[1] He should have call the recipient on the phone on the airway bill.

[2] He should have left a note telling us that he was here but no one was around.

[3] The status on the web was: items on the delivery van. I was waiting and waiting. Did he not holding a PDA or something?

I call the service center in singapore and spoke to a gentlemen by the name of Sam Mak and demanded the name of the driver whom delivers the item. But, was told that he does not know the name of the driver. The problem here is, then is he able to contact him when there is a change of delivery address or other emergency?

I take this incident very seriously!

Thank you and with regards,
Y.H.Kang.

The last few times I have ordered items from one of my suppliers . Your 2nd day is not a two day but a 4 day delivery.
To watch my items sit for over two days is not correct and it will make me go to UPS as they are still resonably responsive unlike your current performance. I have used FEDEX for years and in the last year you have gone downhill in a big way. POOR PERFORMACE is not waht 2nd day is all about.
Not very happy with you POOR PERFORMACE !

They have some one, s signature on the tracking number that says it was delivered. But I did not receive it.never use FedEx if you have a choice. Go for ups or USPS.

47 inch LCD Television delivered and left on very visible doorstep. No signature requested, driver left without a backward glance from the end of my driveway. Box clearly illustrated contents and its attributes! I was home and called from the next room in response to the ring of my doorbell.

FedEx overcharge, delay

i ordered a batch of 500 items from a retailer in the states, the items were simply plastic bags with very little value
as they were needed urgently i decided to have 50 out of the 500 sent via fedex as they would be delivered a few days quicker than usps
fedex charged me $85 to send 50 plastic bags
that had customs value of $10
when fedex arrived on stated date, fedex demanded $40 import duty for items worth less than $10
the actual import duty is $1.40
fedex had ignorder the customs value and looked at the attached invoice
the invoice included shipping costs and also the other 450 bags that were not sent with fedex
but the invoice also clearly stated that only 50 bags were sent with fedex
fedex attempted to charge me import duty on a total of $198 instead of $10
the courier contaced the office, where a lady informed me that i would receive a phonecall soon and that i would get my delivery that same day 100%, WHICH I DOUBLE CONFIRMED WITH HER,
i then sat and waited, and waited
nobody called
i then contacted the fedex office a few times, only to be told they would have to investigate
and that i will not be receiving my package that day and they could not say when the package would be ready for delivery
and if i wanted the package i would have to pay the $40 or i must wait until they conclude their investigation.
so paying $85 and wasting an entire day of my time for absolutely nothing as by the time fedex sorts things out i will have my main order of 450 bags which only cost $38 to ship.
and also with this being in thailand it is certain they will not admit their mistake and will not resolve matter easily.
FEDEX A COMPLETE AND UTTER JOKE!
OVER PRICED, OVER RATED, VERY POOR SERVICE
THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS
THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE SILLY PRICES CUSTOMERS PAY TO RECEIVE SUCH POOR SERVICE.
FEDEX WILL NOT BE USED AGAIN.

in this world of atrocities there are many crooked ways in which people try to make money easily. this types of emails are very plain ways of making money. it may look very crafty but always people who fall into their prey are those who have the similar attitude towards money. so if you live by the principle that money and wealth does not come overnight rather through the hard work, i can assure you will not be deceived. if ever somebody got into this scam, i pity them and better repent of your greedy motifs. God will honor you and show you the right path, .

I cant keep track of all these Nigeria letters I have received since beginning of the 90ties. The bad thing is that it probably works for them and that there still are people that think they will get a lot of money if they pay some small amount.
An other thing is the big scam that people in Asia are doing - especially from China where they have very good web sites selling all kind of electronic stuff for a very low price. You like to use PayPal but they say there is a problem with them so they prefer to have the cash via your bank or Western Union. When you pay - you will not receive anything and the website is down. I did this www.etradbuy.com was a great site but now it is gone.
There are also another site I think do the same www.maddeast.com they also say that PayPal is late with payment and all. Check it but be carful.

FedEx bad service

This is an occurrence that has happened to me numerous times and need other people to be aware of. Fedex and Fedex ground operate differently. I had many occurrences where Fedex Ground refused to deliver my package. They lied and noted in the tracking system that the address doesn't exist when it really does. The next day they tried to deliver again and the message says "can not find address" when they been to my house many times prior. Please... these guys are carriers. That's their job to know that stuff. WTF? I even told them to call me if they need directions and they never did. I asked them what I need to do to receive my package since their driver refused to deliver to my house. They said to drive 60 miles and pick it up at dispatch. I then recommended to have them drop it off at Fedex/Kinko. They said "no" because they don't accept Fedex packages. Then I told them to remove the "Fedex" from "Fedex/Kinko" because it is misleading.

What is really going on here is that Fedex Ground are not real Fedex employees. They contract their delivery. You will find that these contractors are no where near as competent as Fedex employees.

Took off from work to receive a package from FedEx. They never rang the doorbell or knocked. Had to travel 15 miles two days later to get package. On top of this, FedEx expects me to deliver their packages and mail. They leave packages, envelops, etc at my door, side door and on front door that does not belong to that address. My address is clearly visible and FedEx continues to leave mail for my neighbours (who are probably home) at my door. As of yesterday, I have dumped all packages and mail into the USPS boxes. These are homes not apartment buildings.

I have observed on multiple occasions Federal Express tractor-trailer trucks operating in an unsafe manner. Generally, it is excessive speed, but I have also seen erratic lane changes several times.

When I have attempted to call the Federal Express customer contact centre, they are anything but helpful. They usually tell me I have called the wrong number, even though I am dialling the exact phone number printed on the trailer.

When I am finally able to get a customer service agent from Federal Express to take down my complaint, I have requested someone call me back to acknowledge receipt of my call, but not once have I received a return call.

Several weeks ago, I wrote to the President of Federal Express about these same issues. One of his assistants did call me, but the individual was anything but cordial, acknowledged receipt of the letter, and then terminated the call without even saying goodbye.

Many tractor-trailer trucks weigh as much as 80, 000 pounds, which is 25 times as much as the average passenger car. They take much longer to stop and are more susceptible to high winds. Most of the Federal Express tractor-trailer fleet consists of double-trailers which are heavier, harder to stop, and more dangerous in high winds or wet roads.

From the driver’s seat of my car, it appears to me that Federal Express is not interested in operating their fleet of tractor-trailers safely. Perhaps a letter from your office will persuade them to take highway safety more seriously.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I ordered vital computer parts for my company's production database server. I paid for expedited shipping. Unfortunately, the vendor shipped them out via FedEx. It was supposed to arrive on Monday or Tuesday. According to FedEx tracking, it arrived at a local hub (a few miles from my house) at 4:00 AM and was put on a truck for delivery by 5:15 AM. I waited all day for the package to arrive. As I mentioned, the package was very important so I didn't want to be away and miss the delivery. 4:30 PM rolled around - no package. I called FedEx and left my number to make sure that the driver could contact me. 8:00 PM rolled around - still no package and no update to the status on their tracking site. I called again. The FedEx operator informed me that the local hub employees had left for the day and that he'd leave a message for them to deliver it to me as early as possible the next day. Infuriated, I called back to let them know that that wasn't good enough. This time, it turns out, the local hub manager was still there. They transferred me to him. He told me that they could not locate the package but that they'd keep trying. I'm going to give them another call in the morning.

I promise to never use FedEx again and to encourage as many other to do the same.

Fedex ground is truly horrible. I have been waiting for a package for a whole month from ny to nj! the first time they send it back to the shipper. the second time they say I was not there, they leave no notice. Calling customer service is a waste of time because all they do is read what the tracking # says. Dont expect them to call you back with an update or fix a problem. Poor service from what used to be a top rate carrier. Only UPS from now on.

I hv order clothes online from RalphLauren. The package was supposed to be delivered on Dec 2. However, it came on Dec1 so I was not available to recieve it and got a door tag that told me they would came the next day.
Therfore, I waited a whole day from 11am to 4pm but there was no delivery! Then I checked online on Fedex website and found out that they missed me again! ( I was so confused that I didnt hear anyone knocking door...)
At the same day, after 5pm, I checked online again and I was told to pick up my package by myself at the Fedex station where is 5.31mi away from me!
Then I called 1.800 to ask for changing the pick-up location. The representative was so RUDE and the attitude was so BAD! After I stated my problem. He just tell me the original pick-up location, then he was ignoring me in the phone, didnt answer my other questions, and keep slinent! (there was no communication anymore so I hang up the phone!)
So I called the second time, which s another representative answered. This time, the female representative's attitude was also not good but still better than the previous one! For my request, she said that she couldn't help and keep on asking me to pick up my package by myself even I have told her that Fedex station is really far from me and I am new in Seattle, not a driver and don't how to get there by any transportation. Unfortunately, she still didn't help and said the shipper didn't allow them to change the pick up location!
Until I called to RalphLauren ask for helping, the problem has been solved finally...
I am so disappointed to Fedex about the quality of the service, and their representative's attitude.
Really don't understand why they couldn't change the pickup location for me since I have all the documents to prove I am the reciever!
And there is one more bad service of Fedex is there is no 3 attempts to me! They just came for 2 times only!
and their reason for could not deliver to me is they do not have the enter code of my apartment!
I wanna know how come they don't have, since the UPS have one and I just got the delivery from UPS at the same day!
Never use Fedex again and avoid the companies which use Fedex!
It is a terrible experience of using Fedex!

So i ship a package out international and the fedex pickup driver does not give my a copy of my airway bill number. i call in to ask fedex to give it to me and they tell me they can't. i gave them my address, the receivers address and also told them to call the phone number on the package which will be my phone number and they're still telling they can't help me out.

I mean what kind of customer service is this?...they don't even realise the urgency of my situation to try something to help.

I ordered a package from amazon on 02/14 it said 5-8 buisness days shipping. It didn't leave them until a week later 02/21 arrived that night 10pm at Fed Ex smart post in Kent, WA. It then sat there and didn't show leaving there until 02/23 after 7pm 2 days sitting in the store! Really? When I track the package it finally now says post office is notified of incoming delivery due 25th- yet post office has still not seen anything. Two more days of no tracking. I expected more from Amazon and Fed Ex but the smart post is not a direct Fed ex so if I can't be guaranteed regular fed ex no indirect offices I won't order from Amazon.

I have had, More Problems, With FEDEX. Than Any Other Service. Better service with USPS, UPS, & DHL. that is right DHL. I have in Transit Right Now. It was Shipped to Houston, from Kentucky. It is in OHIO. The Fedjerk who Finally answered Phone Said it is Going to be Shipped from There, BY USPS. I Paid Extra for What? A World or National Trip. That is Not All. In the Past I had a Package Very Mysterously Show Up on My Door Step the Next Morning. SUNDAY. After I got Upset with the Regional Dispatch Manager. The Item was suppose to be Over-Nite. It took TWO Weeks. Here I have a Similar Problem. The Deliveries, Show, 24 / 7. That is Right. AND, they Leave a Note that they Left a Package ? For Every-body to see it. They say it is ON the Truck. BUT, NO time AM / PM for Delivery. I had a Service Company, I Worked for. And the State Required you give AM or PM Slots. Also, We would leave a Tag. As we where there. They where Not. And to Call Office. That is Why I DO NOT DEAL WITH FEDEX YO-YO's.

our shipment arrived Kuwait on 03-11-2009 from Dubai, documents for clearance collected completely on 09-11-2009. Today 16-11-2009 the shipment status is showing "clearance delay". many times called customer service same answer they are giving and refused to give any higher management contact details. worse thing is each time they are putting the telephone on hold - to listen Fedex advertisement. We are planning to instruct our suppliers world wide to avoid this useless courier service.
Not only one shipment, this month 2 or 3 shipments they delivered late. For everybody's information, please use air freight shipments services from a shipping company, it is cheap, easy and faster than this.

FedEx awful experience

I ordered products from a well known reputable company who shipped my package via FEDEX GROUND and provided tracking info which showed the package arrived in brooklyn Dec 29. I waited until Jan 2 to call even though they already had notes that they were attempting delivery, I never received door tags, they then said the package was on the wrong truck and assured me that Sat Jan 3 I would have my package. Now this is FEDEX HOME delivery how they switched from GROUND service I paid for is unknown, however I called every 2 hours on Sat Jan 3 no package. Monday they are closed they operate Tuesday- Sat, no one can tell me what happened Sat which isn't even noted in the tracking, I speak to managers daily on Tuesday who assure me just like Fri & Sat the package is with driver on truck, they place me on hold call the driver and give instructions to deliver my package and tell me call the facility early in the morning so I can get the driver, oh the listed number for that facility is not in service. Wednesday Jan 7, I call 7am, they tell me the driver came at 10:30 pm no one answered, I explained my window is by the door and I stay up until 2am reading NO ONE CAME AND WHERE IS THE DOOR TAG IF SO? no answer but they apologize oh so graciously and tell me try my call a little after 9am they will get another manager. I call again around 9am, I get a rep who tells me its BS that no one has been to my house period and she gets me another manager who assures me I will have the package but very late after 9pm. Its day 10, 10:48pm and no package. If you try to pull up the site for the 100 Morgan Avenue its like a franchise they are asking for regular people to home deliver for them. I want to know where my products are? hopefully they haven't been tampered with, I suspect someone knowing the company I purchased from got a Happy New Years compliments of me! and all these thieves can tell me is that it's on a truck!, and to go all the way down there is going to infuriate me they already messed my appointments up waiting in a house for days, it's beyond inconvenience, we pay for shipping but have to go and pick it up ourselves? do you know how much my tank drinks?..I call them ripoff because i never paid for Home Delivery, I paid for Ground, I know they must not want to drive over here for one package I've been asked twice if I don't want to come pick up myself, how ironic since the package is saddled to the driver at all times!, no they either want to be cheap by not burning their gas for a mere 11lb package or they stole my products or misplaced them!..then they have the heart to advertise on their website switch from DHL!

FedEx hidden fees/pricing policies

I have been using FedEx Kinko's for a project I started over 2 years ago. I have used them in 4 different metro areas and usually never had a problem, until this week at Fairview Heights, IL. I stopped in to print out a group of files that I have printed hunderds of times in the past at several other Kinko locations with no problems.

The problem was that I was approached by the manager of the store (not someone who actually runs the machines on a daily basis). I explained I had 10 sheets of double sided color prints to produce with a common back on 100# stock. These file were in .pdf formats on a thumb drive. I walk the manger through the set up of the files and he started printing them.

First, the registration is somewhat critical and every copier is slightly different especially with heavy stock paper. I was not pleased with the print registration and asked him if he could adjust the offset on the copier (a simple positioning adjustment on the computer). He then tells me that he can't fix the registration and it is becasue of my files. EVERY Kinko's store I have used in the past has gladly assisted me in making the registration the best possible and to my satifaction. NOT ANY MORE. The manager tells me if they have to make any adjustments in the computer it is a $5 "graphic manipulation" charge. Yes, I had 10 files, that would have been an additional $45 for Kinko (FedEx Office) to make the files print the way they appear on the computer. My total job was $20 which in itself is a complete ripe off. Double sided prints should not cost 2X since you have already paid for the paper.

Secondly, I had two of the files printout WAY TO DARK due to their print system. I asked the manager, "do these prints look even close to the computer image." He replies, "I guess they don't", but does nothing to resolve a glaring problem with my job. Whenever I had this problem before, I simply asked the Kinko's representative to drop the saturation on those specific prints. However, once again the manager had NO clue how this could be accomplished on the equipment, hiding behind the $5 "graphic manipulation" fee. Then he tried to tell me how long he has worked in the industry. Please! spare me the details, this manager had no clue about the equipment and didn't want to ask for assistance from one of his employees who were standing around. I think the employees were actuallywatching and let him screw up, they sure didn't want to help he out. Needless to say, I have seen multiple Kinko representatives make simple adjustments to the printer settings to make the print look correct and satisfy my small request without charging me $5 for this adjustments on THEIR equipment. It is not a graphic problem!

If you have to pay $5 just to make your computer files print with the correct colors and registration on their equipment, I will be taking my business else where. I will find a office support store that remembers what Kinko's model was started from ...pleasing the customer. After being purchased by FedEx, Kinko's has completely forgotten why people use their print services.

Not a Kinko customer any more...

The Company that I work for araange package droppoff and pickups. Everytime I pickup or dropoff a package from our Company. One Employee always says, You sure like making my day long, don't yeah?

I drop my packages, or wait to pick up my packages, so I just don't say anything, tp avoid verbal debate. I wouldn't utilize the facilities if I had a choice.

I have too been a frequent Kinko's user in the past. I went to FedEx Office today and had to print 14 pictures in black and white on cheap paper. The images had to be printed on a bigger printer but the lady working there told me that each print would only cost .75 cents. She told me that they charge 5 dollars to open a file. I didn't like it but I was fine with just paying an extra 5 dollars, so she lead me to believe. I had all my pictures in a photoshop format and all she had to do was click the layers on and off, nothing a 3rd grader couldn't figure out. I have had them do this for me before with no issue and only charging that extra 5 dollars to "open" the file. Their printer was ### and the black and white prints were blotchy, nothing like my images at all. I asked if she could reprint them and she said that she would have to charge me so I declined since the art project didn't need them to be perfect, just cheap. Anyway, she rings me up and then tells me that I own her 49 f***ing dollars for 14 crappy prints in black and white! She said that she had to charge me extra because of "graphic manipulation" which she failed to mention at the time, and would she have I would have refused and told her and FedEx to go f*** themselves. She manipulated nothing and the way I organized my images in the Photoshop format saved her time. I will never go to a FedEx again and will warn everyone I know to avoid them and help everyone I know to find an alternative. I hope FedEx Office goes out of business pulling this crap on its customers.

FedEx they are liars

I paid big money for a Saturday delivery from fedex. The package was an overnight Priority shipment! In the package WAS LIVE salt water fish! It was due to be delievered at 10:30am! After 12:00 noon had passed I went onto the fedex tracking site to track my shipment again. The site said "Customer did not respond, left door tag" There was absolutly NO DOOR TAG/note left on my door or any where on my property! When I called fedex to get them to "re-deliver" my package I was told that there were no more drivers out for the rest of today and that I would have to pick it up at the warehouse or wait for MONDAY to have it delievered! I obviously had to pick it up as my LIVE FISH would be dead by monday! The FedEX women that I had to talk to ( 3 of them...) all said that the driver stop by and no one answered my door and that she left a note. There was NO NOTE, I was also expecting this package so my front DOOR was OPEN from 10am til Noon when I had called FEDEX. NO DRIVER EVER CAME BY! BUT FEDEX REPS. SAID i WAS THE LIAR! THE CUSTOMER IS THE ONE AT FUALT! I WILL NEVER SHIP ANY THING WITH FEDEX EVER!
