My package was suppose to be delivered on Friday. February 9, 2024. The call box to my building has not worked in months. I have the the company I made the purchase from put instructions that the driver needed to call me when he arrived so that I could go down to get my package. I am sight impaired and rarely leave my building. When they made the 1st delivery attempt the did not call but left a delivery attempt ticket on my door.
I call customer service and was told that their drivers do not make calls. I explained that I am legally blind and could not go to pick up my package at some facility and if they cannot accommodate me then just send the package back to shipper. I told the rep. that they could leave the package between the doors because my neighbours would see that I get it.
Fedex told me that they would make a request for driver to call me. On Sunday February 11, 2024. I did not receive a call only another ticket left on the main door.
I cannot force my landlord to repair the callbox, I have been trying to get them to repair it for months. I live alone. I everything delivered and do not have a problem with all other deliveries. They all accommodate by giving me a call when they arrive.
