This is ridiculous. I had some issues with Fedex and UPS before but this should be flat out illegal. I live in a residential complex with 8 building and a central office that closes at 6pm. They usually get all the Fedex and UPS packages for the resident.
I stayed home from work and never got a ring at the door, but upon checking the tracking it stated that the Delivery Exception occured. Customer was not present and Business Was closed! are you kidding me?
I went downstairs, there was NO door tag, and the office did not have my package.
When I called customer service they of course pretended to be stupid and claimed that the driver put in the notes that he was unable to reach anyone.. FLAT OUT LIES!
Perishable goods were shipped and I can kiss them goodbye because of this ### who was lazy to deliver.
HORRIBLE
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
FedEx sucks! I’ve been jerked around for over a week now. Delays, delays delays! Tracking says it out for delivery but never gets delivered!
I totally agree. This is my third day of getting delivery delayed messages. My package doesn’t even require a signature. Called customer service twice. First time I was told someone would call me back. No one did. Second time the person sounded like a robot and just kept me she couldn’t do anything that I needed to contact the shipper, which I had already done and they told me there was nothing they could do because their system shows FedEx is going to be delivering the package. So frustrating! Hopefully, I will eventually get my package.
FedEx Saying delivery was attempted but no evidence on my Video Ring doorbell. This is the first time using FedEx and it will be my last.
Extremely Disappointed.
FedEx lies about most packages that need a signature. Especially when they have to go out into rural areas. I’ve had them say they couldn’t deliver due to customer not home or business being closed. Literally I was staring out the window watching TV every time they lied. I’m tired of this unethical business practice. Of course you call the 1800 number to file a complaint and 99/100 times it does no good. I just keep calling back until someone gets ahold of the driver and has him turn around and drive back to my house cause he lied and said I was not home. I have a ring doorbell and security cameras up as well. I currently have 8 packages piling up at the Grand Rapids location, hell, just found out from the 1800 number they never even made it on the truck today after supposedly being in the truck the last two days he tried deliver and lied about me not being home. I smell a class action lawsuit. This is BS. They make people waste their entire day to sign for a package and then don’t even attempt to deliver it- and then blame it on the customer for not being home when in fact I wasted my entire damned day staring out my driveway. Customer service sucks too they do nothing.
FedEx is a fraudulent company and cannot do a job without stealing from people and never receive their packages and a waste of people time and money and FedEx is building a reputation and do not care what is important to a customer need and it does not pay to steal and belong behind bars.
Same here... already delayed fedex package was on truck out for delivery.
Driver never showed up and just wrote "Nobdy reached at home or business".
There were 4 people here all day long, plus we have cameras on our premises, the recordings of which prove there was no Fedex delivery attempted at all.
These people are liars, the business is totally unethical.
Will not use them again.
This has happened to me as well. Package was supposed to be delivered on February 8th-10th. I Filed a claim because it was late. On February 14th I received an email saying my package was delayed and they were attempting to "locate it". On the 20th, I still had not received my package, recieved the same email update that my package was delayed and could not be located at this time. Skip to February 28th... I received an email stating my package was delivered on February 10th. Lol I was home all day waiting for the package so we could finish our floors. It wasn't delivered. They know it wasn't delivered. They lost it but refused to take responsibility. First rep. I called and talked to told me to contact the shipper. Theres nothing the shipper could do. The next rep. Barely spoke English and argued with me about the fact that it says my package was delivered... even though for 2.5 weeks they acknowledged that it was delayed and could not be located (another way of saying "lost in transit" absolutely ridiculous. She kept telling me I needed to "disregard the emails about my package being delayed because it was actually delivered." They aren't even good liars.
4th straight day of "it will be there tomorrow"... "Business closed" although it's open 24/7 365! Filed an official complaint with FedEx (not that that matters) ... Filed an official complaint with the company I ordered from so they can try to recoup shipping charges from FedEx and filing a BBB complaint! I wouldn't have even been mad if it was lost/stolen just say it don't blatantly lie and waste my time.
FedEx is a fraudulent company and cannot do a job without stealing from people and it does not pay to steal and belong behind bars.
I'm borderline violent as I sit here commiserating and kicking myself for even being alive. Another marathon fight with FedEx customer service that leaves me in need of my heart pills. They left a huge $$ couch in the apartment basement under the stairs! It took 24 hours for a nice neighbor to find and tell me where it was.. ! So much screaming, hollering, crying all day long on the phone getting no where. Asked them to please call the god-damned driver and ask him where he put it! So he sent me a picture of it-dark & shivering alone amongst the cobwebs. Could have been stolen in this area of town! Saved for a long time for that couch. Sat in a chair for 3 months in my new (first time) apartment. I was so happy!
That all ended with a screaching halt. "We don't have ANY" communication with the drivers Mam, sorry." WHAT?
In the end I had to pay people to bring it up to my apartment. Lazy or not, at least tell me where it is before you run back to the truck you ©©¥¥π√÷∆§*! It would have saved a -lot of anger all around... sigh.
