First off, the rule fedex has about the shipper can only be allowed to correct an address should not exist! It is not fair to the receiver of the package their package is delayed and they should be able to rectify the situation. And, why should the receiver be the one to have to contact the shipper and tell them they are the only ones that can correct the mistake, because in my experience with this kind of issue, was the package was sent back to the shipper without the receiver even knowing about it! My main concern at this point is I cannot trust the shipper to make that call and correct anything. I stayed on the phone for over an hour yesterday with the shipper and was promised they would contact fedex and by looking up my tracking information, I think they lied to me, but I will never know because of that damn stupid virtual assistant on fedex will not let me even speak to live person. They want a tracking number and when i give it, the same information is given to me that I already know and the call is dropped! What I would like to know is what steps are actually taken by fedex to get my package to me, because as a customer, i feel like iam getting screwed. I should have received my package on the 20th and I am really tired of waiting for it! I do not think fedex contacts anyone, i think they just entered wrong address in the system and when the time is up, they send it back to the shipper. My tracking number is [protected] and my contact number is [protected] if someone will actually contact me to let me know the solution to this problem. this is not the first time this has occurred. The last time it was over printer ink that i had ordered and it was over a month before i contacted fedex regarding the issue, but fedex sure as hell never contacted me to let me know anything and neither did the shipper.
