FerrellGas Out of Gas 2nd Time after Prepay!

As a 20+ year customer of Sharpe Propane that had excellent response to customers needs and where always accessible to talk to, the opposite applies to Ferrell Gas when they purchased Sharpe. I have waited 38 days for gas last year to be delivered and now this year I am 23 days of Pre-Paid along with $150 extra for 24hr delivery without gas. I have appealed to VP 's and all the way to local delivery stations without effect! This company needs to review their customer service effects on customers! Obviously they don't care! My recommendation, Do Not use them as a provider! Choose anyone else and you will see better results even if it is Crap!

Desired outcome: Listen to your customers, learn how to give customer service to acquired company customers, quit repeating the unlearned problems! Get better!

FerrellGas propane gas

I have been waiting for propane since tuesday sept 27 2022 i have call them to let them know since wednesday and they said they would take care of this call them again thursday and they said they would get it delliver but did not happen so i call them friday this morning and said it was on route at 8 am today and still here it is 12.51 pm and no gas i have material that need to unload and no gas and the material left this is unexcusable need help asap my name is George Mejia my number is [protected] call me please

FerrellGas Delivery to wrong address

On July 27 I ordered propane and pre-paid $152 and change. My tank was at 40% still remains at 40%. When I called Ferrellgas they said that they delivered on August 1 and I told them at no time could they have because I was home all day. And doing some investigating I found out that my neighbors tank which he said was empty is now at 40% full. I called Ferrellgas in our local number and I was told I would receive a call back on Monday, I never got a callback on Monday. I called yesterday morning and was told I would receive a call back and never received a call back. So I called in approximately 12:45 PM and was told I would receive a phone call back for sure as I requested somebody from management or a supervisor to resolve the issue. I was told I would receive a phone call back shortly after 1 PM when they return from lunch and to no avail no call. This just shows the terrible customer service you get when trying to resolve an issue. If they don’t care to call you back they obviously don’t care for your business. I will try not to buy from Ferrellgas ever again and I will seek out another vendor to Supply and fill our tank. This is very deceptive business practices and anyone who is seeking to use Ferrell gas to fill your propane tanks beware!

Desired outcome: To call back when they claim they’re going to call back to resolve the issue and either issue a credit or re-deliver immediately. No excuse for this poor service!

FerrellGas overcharged for propane from ferrell gas

Last week we just filled up from ferrell gas and they are charging over $4 a gallon. Our neighbor just filled up after us at a different place and was charged only $2.65 a gallon the next day (spoke to the person delivering from Independent gas). Isn't this price gouging? I checked several other places and they were all in $2+ price range.

Desired outcome: a refund of the overcharge per gallon would be nice.

FerrellGas Damaged driveway

Ferrel Gas had cracked my driveway’s concrete several months ago. I did not file a complaint because I did not realize just how much damage they caused. On a previous delivery the driver again parked on my driveway. I informed him that they had previously cracked my driveway and not to park on it. A week ago their driver again parked on my driveway. My wife told him to move his truck and not park there. He ignored her. I came outside and saw he actually broke a corner of the concrete off at the top of my driveway. The previous damage was at the bottom. I took pictures, including ones with the truck there. I called the company and complained. After several calls a manager finally returned my call and said that the complaint was sent to their risk department, consequently it was out of his hands. He said I would hear from them. Over a week now and have heard nothing. I called their useless customer service number, was informed they would pass the info to a manager, but I’ve heard nothing.

Desired outcome: A reasonable settlement to repair the driveway

FerrellGas Tank removal

Griffith energy moved the Farrel gas tank close to the road after installing their own and called to have it picked up. It sat for about a month until we called again to see why it hasn't been picked up. The made another appointment to come get it. I waited another month and it's still here. I called and left a message to come get it and got no call back. It is ruining my lawn with the cinder blocks underneath. I would like it removed and wave of the fees since it has sat for so long damaging my property. If it is not removed soon I am going to look into legal action.

Desired outcome: Remove the tank with no fees after it has been ruining my lawn for months.

FerrellGas ignorant.rude.mouthy and no class when talking to customers

2 10 22 i went to order a 100 gallons of fuel and was told i had a bill of 71 dollars i was told it was because there tech came out and all he did was spray some pink stuff on my line and sent a bill in for me to pay of a 100 dollars for this such bullcrap to charge someone a 100 dollars for this. ive been a loyal customer to them for 14 years and this is the way i was treated.if a conglomerant company like this cant take care of there own equipment they need to look at whats going on in this company,i requested a call back and never got it.they hang up on you when they know there in tne wrong.like they have done to me 2 now.very rude people.all they care about is the money and thats it. needless to say we are going to terminat our buisness with them after all these years. i really thought they were there to help people but was i ever wrong.such a dissapointment these people are and im spreadind the word and the proof i have of how these people are treating there customers.. thanks for the screwing you gave me and my disabilic family...yous are worthless to me

FerrellGas Account Cancellation- Propane Delivery complaint

1/28/22, JR, FG Supervisor. Stated he wasn't going to deliver fuel because neighborhood roads in poor shape from weather. The threads were plowed, our driveway was plowed, school busses used the same roads without issue. Woodlawn Oil just delivered to our neighbors who use our driveway with no issue.

After pleading tmwith JR to deliver propane because we were at 11%, we ordered at 30%, he finally delivered propane by backing up the driveway. The next day wmtge FG office in Pittsburgh canceled our account and refused future deliveries.

Desired outcome: We order from Woodlawn Oil & Propane without additional delivery or Hazmat fees.

FerrellGas Propane delivery

Had a delivery from Ferrell.

Driver drove through our garden. After Threatening them with an insurance claim they eventually covered the damage.

Called to get delivery after noticing we were at 13%. Told us they couldn't deliver for 10 days! They showed up when we had 1% but didn't fill because the valve was under water due to torrential rains overnight. Never knocked on door to let me know about the issue. I have a wet vacuum that would have taken 5 minutes to drain all the water. Now out of propane and can't get delivery for 3 more days. They don't think that's an issue based on multiple calls today.

Switching to another company.

FerrellGas Delivery of propane.

I am a customer of Ferrell Gas for 20 plus years. I ordered propane in December after being approved for LIHEAP. I called customer service in January for delivery. They said i owed 56 dollars. I paid them. It called them again in the middle of February. They said you owe 36 dollars. I have yet to pay it. They were a great company up intil 2 years ago. This is the second year in a row i had to wait until March for delivery.

FerrellGas Unacceptable customer service

My gas tank is empty and customer service has informed me they will deliver sometime in the next 12 days. I have 2 kids under 2 years old and I am 6 month pregnant. It is 30 degrees fahrenheit outside and I don't have a fireplace. Amber from customer service informed me that she doesn't have a supervisor I can talk to, and that the delivery scheduling team doesn't take phone calls. This leaves me with no means of escalating. My tank hasn't been refilled as the result of a credit hold that was placed arbitrarily as it appears, since the bank account information on file from the creation of the account hasn't changed. This is unacceptable customer service and I will be sure to communicate on social media and in my community until I get proper consideration. Amber from customer service also told me she saw on the delivery scheduling team's website that deliveries were backlogged due to weather conditions. It hasn't rained for 6 weeks, it is sunny and there is no wind. The team also doesn't take expedited requests. I struggle to understand how my situation is not a priority over customers who still have gas in their tanks. Please help.

Desired outcome: deliver propane today and issue a discount for poor service

Ferrell gas customer service is abysmal. They already a week passed the promised delivery date. There is no local person I can contact. The customer service rep in texas doesn't have the number of any manager I can contact tho she did say she would have them call me. They have provided me with absolutely no updates or excuses for the problems. The automated phone service they have is terrible and awkward. Is it too much to ask to speak to a live person? After struggling to get a live person she put me on hold for 15 minutes then hung up. It's just disgusting.

I rented a 500 gal tank from Ferrell Gas to power my Generac Generator and for the first two years i was charged the agreed price for the rental. Then on the third year the price almost triples. They say it was an employee error. It seems to me that a large company like themselves would have better training on customer service with their policy and procedures before they give someone the information about there rental policy.Then when you try to talk to someone its like pulling a tooth and if you ask to talk to someone higher up they cant give out there name or number but will send them an email on the issue. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS WORLD ITS A JOKE.

FerrellGas No contact prior to being billed.

I am having a significant challenge trying to get someone to call me back regarding my account and getting the account settled.

I moved into the property last September and understood that I had an account with Ferrellgas (the previous owner left me a list of phone numbers for service companies). I called Customer Service and was told that they had no record of an account at my address and that if there was an account I would receive notification through the mail. I did not feel comfortable with this and called again and finally spoke to some in accounts/billing who located an account for the address. Apparently the Garrets, previous owners did not use Ferrellgas. I was told that I had an outstanding balance of $6.36, which I paid on 12/20/2022. There was no bill/statement for October or November – even though I called.

I then received a bill at the end of December for $2,201.36. I called and spoke to Bonnie at Ferrellgas who stated there appeared to be an error with my account and she would get in touch with Kimberly Wilkins. I have had several conversations with Kimberly since that time. Several attempts were made to inspect the unit. (I work and technicians would call me on the way to the house – no appointments were made with me). I work at a hospital and cannot just leave without prior arrangements being made to cover my Department.

I am now being told there is no issue with the system, although even with the system turned completely off I was charged $198.00 (I haven’t figured that one out yet).

In January 2022 I received a packet from Ferrellgas – welcoming me to the family (4 months after purchasing the property – go figure).

I last left a message for KW - Customer Service approximately 2 weeks ago, after the system was inspected by Rollie (sp) - very pleasant and professional. Apparently the system is intake and there are no leaks/issues. I was told that K would be following up with me. This has not occurred (I was told she was in training for a week).

At this point I do not understand how my bill can equal that of a large mortgage payment (I did use the system approximately October to December), but $2,200~ is astronomical and being charged a late fee while the system is being checked and the account being verified is ridiculous.

I sincerely hope that we can come to a reasonable solution and get this matter settled once and for all.

Desired outcome: Someone from Ferrellgas to respond to my calls and voicemails.

FerrellGas Poor customer service, cannot deliver when prepaid

I've been a customer of Ferrellgas for years now, and it's come to an end, because they are such a big company, that one customer doesn't matter to them. My tank is running low, and they refuse to deliver, even after I prepaid for the gas. They said it would take still take another week to deliver, even after I placed the order earlier in the week, so it's two weeks before they'll even deliver, so by then I'll be completely out of gas. The last couple of times they came out, they wouldn't fill it up all the way, so I'd run low faster, and have to call them again. The reason why they shorted me on gas is because I have a contract, which prevents them from jacking up the price until the end of June. I just cancelled my last order with them, and waiting for my refund, because I called two different companies, and they can deliver within the day. Ferrellgas doesn't care about customers, and will let them run out of gas. I told them I'll give my money to the company that'll appreciate it, and deliver. I own my tank, so I can buy from any supplier. Let's see how long it takes for me to get my money back, so I can give it to the company that can deliver. I'm not going to let a company just blow me off, even after prepaying for the gas, and not on credit, and not going to be treated like that from a company that can care less if I run out of gas, and it's really pathetic, and no excuse for a big company like Ferrellgas to make me wait two weeks for a delivery I had already paid for. One customer doesn't matter to Ferrellgas, they have the same attitude as Walmart.

Desired outcome: It doesn't matter to a company like Ferrellgas, because I'm just one customer, and I don't matter to them, nor did they ever appreciate my business, for all these years.

I have had the same experience with Ferrellgas. Could care less bout the customer, or if the customer runs out of propane. Customer service agent had the gall to tell me to “feel free to find another provider if you’re not happy”. Seriously, you bet I will!

FerrellGas Emergency smell and dishonest

On January 16th, 2022, we smelled the gas and called for help since the temperatures fell low and became cold. We parked in the other parking lot down there. The same guy came in at our site early, drove in a different truck, and fixed something before our knowledge. The guy passed us and stopped the smell. He made a call, and we came up to the site; he talked about the batteries and told us to tighten the nuts. We looked at each other and puzzled why he went into our battery storage bin without our consent. The batteries were off because we were not on the road.

W contacted the RV guy and discussed battery issues again.

The RV guy told us not to listen to the gas guy because he didn't know what he was doing. Gas and battery do not mix.

We reviewed all the RING videos and busted the guy did something to make it stop leaking. We learned that the guy was being dishonest with us for a whole time because he redirected us to the battery storage bin and forgot the smell, and he hoped it decreased the scent when we stopped by the gas tank. He charged us 350.30 dollars for 4 hours of labor which was not true, and he stayed less than 15 minutes. We were accused of our disability, had 0 percent propane, and survived with the space heaters for three weeks. We were disappointed in your company and did not want this guy to come back to our site ever again.

On January 27th, 2022, the order we submitted was supposed to deliver to our leased gas tank on February 10th, but it didn't happen. The accounting system says the delivery was completed.

Don't hesitate to contact us at [protected] to discuss removing the charges and the tank to pick up with NO CHARGES. We researched on your company and you have two serious complaints similar to our incident.

FerrellGas Propane delivery

On December 31st we had propane delivered to our main house. Needed propane for our guest house. We were told that they only had enough propane on their truck for the deliveries for the day. I completely understand seeing we had a bad snow storm and many were without propane.

They told us to go online and make the request. Which I did, after not hearing from them I called to inquire about the delivery. They had not record of my request.

I then placed the order and was told it would be delivered by January 28th. Today I get a call that they could not deliver the propane that they didnt have the gate code. (they did). I was also told that they would call prior to them coming out (they didnt). Then was told now not until at least the 11th of February. I checked the cameras to see what time they tried to access my property. NOTHING! There was no delivery attempt.

I do not understand why they didnt even call while they were at the gate? Maybe because they didnt attempt a deliver!

Looking to leave! Horrible service!

FerrellGas Your company

If I could leave zero I would. We ran out of gas and had to obtain assistance. On Friday Jan 21, we had been without gas for 2 days. Once we received the grant I contacted them 3 times to verify they were going to service us. I have 2 small children and a husband who is disabled. This was communicated to them. They told me if someone doesn't come that day, someone would come Saturday. Forward Saturday morning. I called right away in the morning to find out when we would have delivery only to find out they are not open on Saturdays. Not only was I lied to, but after 2 hours of calling I finally reached someone only to be treated like a bother and given zero information and to be told she is only there to answer phones and there is nothing she can do. What a joke. The worst service, I wouldn't even call it a service. Terrible people, terrible co pant. I will share my experience with everyone. It is Monday Jan 24th and we are on day 6 of no heat, no water. This company should be put out of business. My daughters 4 year old snake died and one of our kitchen pipes burst. Your company is responsible. I even asked if they were going to deliver to us for sure within the next day. I stated we CANNOT go without so I will contact another company if needed. I was told I would have gas within 48 hours. I will be contacting the news companies to prevent your company pant from doing this to other families,

FerrellGas Ferrelgas

Hi my name is Stephen Guilder, I reside at 123 Gabriel rd Corinth NY, 12822. I am a recent customer of Ferrelgas. I placed an order for propane on Jan 6, 2022 and my tanks were at 25%. I was informed the prices have risen. I intended having my tanks filled for $443.11 and was told it would be $590.00 something, so I had no choice but to get a min delivery of 175 gallons which went from $323.86 to well over $400.00. So I ordered it. I still haven't received a delivery and I have called several times due to cold temperatures rising and had informed them that my tanks are now below %5. Every call I made, they added I could get next day delivery for an additional $150.00, which I couldn't afford this month with the rising prices. Each time I called I was told I wasn't scheduled yet. Finally today they told me I would get my delivery on Monday. Well it's Friday and the temperatures are expected to plummet and I've been below %5 for days, causing me to run electric heaters in my house for days and my water running at a drizzle. My so and I are cold and I have to go back to work soon. Can someone please shed some light on this for me? I would greatly appreciate it! I am a reasonable man, easy to get along with, I don't understand how they can be so unconcerned about their customers and families in the dead of winter. Thank you for your time regarding this matter.

FerrellGas Home Delivery

As today January 3rd I have called was told I would be fill the OR before December 30At the last conversation I was told I would be back No 1 has ever call me back I am Using electric space heaters Which I cannot afford And we have 6" of fresh snow So there Truck will not be able to Deliver If even planned on it I have never felt Like leaving bad reviews for anyone at this point I fell if I have no choice If you could please call me back [protected] Lynn farmer

FerrellGas Propane Cost

30%+ higher propane price than local competitor- I'm leaving Ferrellgas! I purchased a home that had Ferrellgas rented tanks so I had to fill with them. Fuel price high plus two extra charges for each tank in my yard. Our local Cenex does not charge that. How can they not be competitive? I'm leaving when tanks are empty.

FerrellGas Propane filling.. Or not filling

Called at 20% over a week ago.. Said they would be here today, they didn't come. I called and asked why (I have seen a truck in down town otsego today.. 3 miles from our home) and was told when I called that the weather has made it so they aren't out this way? So being trust worthy isn't on your core values for the company? Now i'm told we have no eta for filling.. We have a child. What a [censored] [censored] company you have.

Desired outcome: Be honest and DELIVER on time!
