I had requested for a free card Neha called from the bank and gave me paid card even after giving her the request on recorded line I want to cancel my card or urgent basis card no ending with 2645 the service offered is rediculious ten days before I have given the request but the card is still active 5th is my due date I will mot pay any late payment fees.cancel the card on priority.

I have a credit card with FAB, an agent of FAB reached out to me to take an installment payment on my credit expense which I agreed to, he later tried to sell me an insurance and I said No am not interested few week later I saw an email that I have subscribed to an insurance I immediately replied email only to be asked to send my details Emirates ID and passport so they can solve the issue. I did then he used those details to officially logged that I accepted the insurance. After several calls he agreed to reverse the amount back after 30days. Since then till now nothing has been done I have raise 4 complaints so far with no solution. In reference to this I couldn't pay for my credit card because I was told it will be converted to the insurance payment. Also FAB knowing I have this unresolved issue kept charging me late fee for 4mo the new without solving the problem.
I don't understand how one customer can raise 4 to 5 complaints of a fraudulent act of such and they keep passing it on demanding I raise another everything I call. Since July 2022 I have been telling FAB am not interested in this insurance!
FAB deduction service
I’ve been having problem with my fab acc which is deduction of 25 aed every month from my salary account it has been deducting since march it has been already over 7 months i’ve been complaining about this over and over again but they are not even trying to contact me and give me the exact reason or information and i even talked about this to one of their employee when he came to our work place to open bank accout for some of our store’s employee he said he will look over the issue and contact but it has been 2 months but still no call or mail from them i hope this review could reach them and please kindly look toward to my issue

Dear Sir/Madam
I decided that I do not want to renew my FAB Visa Infinite Card in April 2022 - this was because I did not receive the Etihad Voucher after spending more than 200k and because of the cost of the renewal. I followed up a number of times and was ignored. I expressly informed customer service that I do not wish to renew my card, but because it was not time for renewal I was advised that the request will be made later, when it is time to cancel the card.
I was surprised earlier this week that I was charged a renewal fee. I immediately called customer service and asked them to cancel and revert the charge. I note that this was done *before* the statement due date - the charges are not due for payment yet and I will not be liable for interest on this unauthorised charge. I spoke to one of your colleagues, Ms Mariam Shamail to explain the situation but she would not listen. She raised her voice at me during the conversation and kept repeating her scripted lines saying that she cannot help me and I just have to pay the money. Rather than diffusing the situation, my conversation with her now made convinced that I cannot be forced into renewing this agreement with FAB for the credit card.
I note that this charge was made without my authorisation. I specifically made a request not to renew, and this was not actioned. I expressly note in this formal complaint that I will not accept the resolution proposed by the team: which is that I have no choice but to pay. This is not the right way to deal with clients and is contrary to both our agreement and the central bank regulations regarding unauthorised lending.

Desired outcome: Mr Mariam Shamail attitude was wrong. I would like to please ensure that the credit card charge is reversed and my credit card is cancelled as previously requested.
FAB Cash Back Credit Card
Their customer care useless. I registered a complaint about my credit annual fee and they closed the complaint without contacting me. Even I have sent email but no response. At the time of making credit, they said zero annual fee subject to specific amount of annul spending and my spending were much more than that. Even though they charged AED 525 annual fee which supposed to AED 300 if annual spending less than threshold . Zero take care of customers by the bank. Avoid banking with FAB.

mr syed mujahid (fraud salesman recruited by fab bank) had cheated me
as a credit card customer and pushed to take the platinum cashback credit card.
he lied
please refund my money of 400 aed by cancelling this card that this card is free of charges.
he also lied that since the fab bank management is not able to make the sales target achieved last year, they take a decision that all credit cards will be free for one year.
he literally looted my 400 aed as annual membership fees by giving fraud and false informations about the bank and management.
he deleted the documents of credit card immedialetly also in wats up..

Personal loan
I was in urgent need of funds and applied for a personal loan of 150K from FAB and submitted all required documents incl. Salary Transfer Letter (STL) from my company (which is a very reputed MNC) in favor of FAB account. The loan got disbursed on 4th Oct to my FAB account but it was kept blocked. When I checked I was informed that it will be only released after my salary gets credited to FAB account.
Now my concern is, though my loan date started but I don't have access to funds and nobody from FAB informed me that the funds will be kept blocked until my salary gets credited to FAB account. When I requested them to at least adjust the loan date but they refused.
I felt cheated because they kept me in dark about the condition to release the funds.
I would like to appeal to FAB team to re-consider and resolve this issue.

october 3 2022 on afternoon i check my fab avoint in my mobile and i’m shock and confuse why i’m negative 200 in my account and same day evening time i received my salary it’s suppose 3,500 dirhams but i’m shock again because it’s only 3,299.52 only!they put charge on me for debit interest 175.00 aed and minimum balance 25.00 aed!i dont think this is legal and deducting money in my account with out explanation and unauthorize!

September 16,2022 @ 9:34am someone called from FAB mobile no. and saying that I didn’t pay whereof payment has been done on September 11.
+[protected]- this no who called me said I am short of payment of 140/- where my monthly installment is 1772.24 and I paid 1780. I asked where the 140 charge came from and she answered ‘maybe’ late payments. So I checked my SOA and nothing mentioned 140! My account is for closure already and requested for reschedule which got granted on July 26, as per the email my start date of payment is September 12 from the email confirmation that I received from FAB I’ll be getting the extra fees if I didn’t pay on time.
Lastly, the person I have spoken to threatened me that she will cancel the plan on which reference she got that? I told her I want everything in the email so I can protect myself.
Desired outcome: I’d appreciate a response and resolve the issue.
Liability Letter
I have requested a liability letter from FAB on 29 August and on 5 September I received an email from FAB that the request is under process.
I received the letter on 12 September and the date that was written on the letter is 2 September and it is valid for 2 weeks only.
I have raised a complain and I was advised that someone will call me and issue a new letter within 2 days. Unfortunately, no one called. I called the bank several times and there is no way to reach the concerned dept. in order to fix their mistake.

One of the waste bank in UAE, they won't consider low salary pepls, they just consider if u are 7000 above salary only.
I am holding account there since 2009 and once I need financial support I realise am not eligible, and I got another offer and am happy to leave once ask liability they said according to there policy I should visit one of they selected branch, I have to pay for it and also I should go to there prefer branch, y they don't allow to collect from my home branch
Another thing I raise complain 10 days until now no solution just call and offering credit cards
Please please please don't open account there and don't be with them... waste of ur time and no value for the customer...

On June 10,2022 I received an email renewing the insurance policy. I replied to the email that I'm out of UAE and not interested. June 25,2022 I came back to UAE. June 30 I called [protected] and requested for cancellation and reversal. July 29,2022 complaint raised. SMS received request registered Ref, # [protected]. July 30, 2022 Call received and SMS request resolved. August 5,2022 expect email of reversal but no email received. August 17,2022
I called again [protected]. Ms. Rhea requested for Official Complaint for the Insurance reversal with Ref. # [protected] (again). The reason why I am not interested is I am leaving UAE and migrating to the USA. I received my Green Card last March 24,2022.

Credit card repayments
I have been paying since 1st Jul21 - 1st Aug22 against credit card re-payments and I have paid AED 20,889.99
Cedar Financials are acting on behalf of FAB.
I lost my job and that's why I couldn't keep up my payments against credit card but then I resumed re-payments as I have mentioned above.
I have re-paid above mentioned amount plus I had paid prior to I lost my job. I had been charged insurance fees as well.
I am still re-paying and I have paid lost more than credit card limit AED 20,889.99 + paid previously but neither Cedar Financials nor FAB giving me clear update why am I still making re-payments whereas amount paid so far exceeded lot more than the credir card limit.
Desired outcome: I would like to have an update why am I still re-paying.
I have not received any info from the company then how my complaint have been marked as resolved?

One of the Worst Bank I have ever come across in UAE from the day 1 i opened the account I am facing issues every month I have new problems
I have opened a current account in Mushriffmall Branch UAE and every month there is a deduction of 25AED mentioning the minimum balance charge.
when the account was opened customer service agent named Mohammed Ibrahim mentioned there is no minimum balance requirement. now every month I have to talk to customer care agents and everyone gives me different updates when I mentioned I will cancel the account there also have charges.

Unable to cash FAB bank cheque in Australia
We sold an apartment in UAE and received the proceeds as a FAB Bank cheque. We live in Australia and no Australina bank will accept the FAB bank cheque. We cannot get our funds. I request FAB to cancel the cheque at the same time as sending the funds electronically to our Australian Bank Account.
FAB cheque for 373,000 dir dated 5.5.21 and FAB cheque 14920 dated 19.5.21 as evidenced in attahement below.

I was promised by the FAB sales agent that I will get 250,000 FAB reward points if I take the cash loan of AED 13,000. However, I didn't receive the reward points yet.
I had raised a complaint (ticket#[protected]) on 26th May, someone from your complaint department named Saif called me on 4th June and told apologies for the delay in crediting the reward points. He assured me that reward points will be credited within 3 working days. He closed the ticket by marking it 'resolved' but reward points were not credited.
I followed-up with customer care and asked how my previous ticket was closed with the reward points are not credited and they opened up new complaint (ticket#[protected]) on 13th June and mentioned that ticket shouldn't be closed until reward points are credited and asked complaint department to credit the points asap. The same guy Saif then called again on 16th June and deeply apologized. He mentioned that points were initiated to credit into your account but the request was cancelled due to some system issue. He assured me again that reward points will be credited within 3 days. Once again, the ticket is marked as resolved but reward points are not credited.
I called customer care again and opened up another ticket (#[protected]) on 23rd June. Overall, I am following up from the last 1 month but my reward points are not credited yet despite promises made by the bank.
Desired outcome: reward points should be credited asap.
