My Mixed Experience with Fixthephoto: Reliable Service with Limitations
I had a mixed experience working with Fixthephoto (fixthephoto.com) on my photo manipulation needs. Initially, I was impressed with the quality of their work and the speed with which they returned edited photos. I had several photos that needed to be retouched and background items added in for a more polished look, and Fixthephoto was able to deliver on these requests to my satisfaction.
Over time, I began to rely on Fixthephoto to handle all my photo editing needs. I appreciated their consistency and professionalism when it came to completing tasks to a high standard. However, things took a turn when I submitted a particularly challenging request for photo manipulation. When I questioned why the order couldn't be fulfilled, I received a canned e-mail message twice stating, "We are forced to decline the order because we are not able to complete your task." I was left feeling disappointed and frustrated that they wouldn't even give me a quote or attempt to work with me on a solution.
Despite this setback, I must admit that Fixthephoto has been reliable and efficient in handling many of my other photo editing needs. The team consistently delivered quality work on time, maintaining a level of professionalism that is hard to find in other photo editing services. On top of that, their prices were reasonable for the level of work they provided.
Overall, while my experience with Fixthephoto had its ups and downs, I would still recommend them to those in need of photo editing services. Just be mindful that their abilities may be limited when faced with particularly challenging tasks.
Fast and Excellent Customer Service: Review of Fixthephoto's Photo Retouching Services
I had to get a pic ready for my local house of God and there was work to be done on it, especially some background removal as I wanted to enlarge it. I had my ideal colors in mind, a vivid dark blue and a gentle light blue background. The picture came back way beyond what I was hoping for, but the man of the cloth was not entirely sold on the blue I had chosen initially. Therefore, in accordance to his wishes, I submitted the lighter shade of blue sample on 1/1/20 at 10:58 PM. I was clear that I needed three photographs with varying degrees of lightness: picture #1 to match the sample I sent, picture #2 lighter than the first, and picture #3 lighter than the second.
I was extremely impressed by the speed of Fixthephoto's revisions once I had submitted my email. I received an email notifying me that my revisions had already been completed and were ready on 1/2/20 at 6:12 AM. That is an astounding turn-around time if you ask me. The customer service that Fixthephoto provided was beyond excellent and I genuinely recommend their photo retouching services.
Disappointing Photo Editing Services and GDPR Violations at Fixthephoto - A Warning Review
To be honest, I was quite disappointed with Fixthephoto's photo editing services. Their advertised work didn't live up to what I received in return. Let's not even get started on the spam emails I received after signing up to their website. They claimed that my information would be kept confidential, but I doubt that was the case. Every day I get tons of friend requests from their fake advertising workers on Facebook, and they even try to add my friends and photo clients! It's a bit too much to handle.
I reported them to the ICO for breaking GDPR privacy laws and I hope that they get fined or shut down. It's unacceptable to use personal data in such a way. They even write bad reviews of other photo editing firms, trying to make themselves look like a better alternative. It's just a shame that they don't live up to the hype.
After doing some research and reading through a few Facebook posts, I discovered many other people with similar complaints regarding Fixthephoto's services. They are not as reliable as they claim to be. So I would say, go with another photo editing website that has a better reputation. I would suggest you avoid the hassle and inconvenience of using Fixthephoto.

Beware of the Skyrocketing Prices at Fixthephoto: A Review
This website used to be pretty good for getting your photos professionally edited at a fair price. However, things have taken a turn for the worst recently. While the quality of their work can be described as just "okay", their prices have skyrocketed into the stratosphere! I remember when I had some minor edits done in 2018 and the cost was only $25. But when I needed the same edits made again after my computer crashed, they came back with a price of $50! That's a 100% price increase for the exact same work!
Another photographer I met at a conference said that they were quoted $95 for a simple request of grouping a few cosmetic products together into a single shot against a white background. That's just absurd! There are countless editing shops out there that won't rip you off like this. Fixthephoto seems to have no regard for maintaining any kind of relationship with their previous clients, which is a shame. When you charge more than double for the same work and expect people to just accept it, you're not doing yourself any favors!
Fixthephoto: Misleading Pricing for Basic Editing Services
So, I was trying to get my family photo edited to make it a little bit more flattering. I thought of using Fixthephoto, as I had heard some good things about them. I sent them an email asking for a quote, hoping it would not be too expensive, as I only wanted some basic editing.
However, to my surprise, I was quoted $25 per photo, with no explanation as to why it was so high. Their website also shows a pricing page, which doesn't match with the quote they gave me. According to their page, basic retouching only costs $2, whereas they were asking $25 from me.
I think their pricing and examples are really misleading. Based on what they have on their website, I was expecting to pay a lot less than what they were quoting me. It seems like they charge a lot more for even minor edits. I don't see the point in paying so much just to have a couple of things fixed in a photo.
In my opinion, Fixthephoto is a waste of time. They may be good for high-end editing, but for basic editing, their prices are excessively high. I cannot recommend them to anyone looking for affordable editing services.
Stay Away from Fixthephoto for Your Photo Editing Needs - Poor Quality & Terrible Customer Service
I've been a regular buyer of Fixthephoto's services for quite a few years but the quality of their work seems to be hit or miss these days. Recently I submitted an order and after a two-week wait was shocked to receive a terrible service. The team completely ignored all instructions I provided, and even changed items they weren't supposed to! I had shelled out a sizable chunk of change ($60) for what they claimed would be a "professional level" service, but it didn't even rates as basic level. Once I informed them of the errors, they seemed non-responsive at first. Then they said they had sent me emails which I never received (but I find that hard to believe). Later they made the unbelievable claim that the work was too challenging for them. Despite that, they still refused to issue a refund and now we're battling the matter on PayPal. Honestly, it's just ridiculous. Luckily, I was able to find a talented seller on Etsy who was able to perform the work magnificently.
I am truly disappointed that I'll likely lose out on my hard-earned cash, so please heed my warning - don't bother using Fixthephoto for any of your photo editing needs.
UPDATE: I regret to report that PayPal ended up siding with Fixthephoto. Apparently, the sub-par version of my photo that they returned to me counted as a service provided and because they technically "completed" the job, PayPal has washed their hands of the issue. From now on, I'm going to stay far from Fixthephoto, as they appear to put quantity over quality.
Beware! Fixthephoto.com gave me Spyware and compromised my Apple ID and Passwords
I decided to check out fixthephoto.com after seeing some of their overlays on a photography forum. I downloaded some of their "free" overlays, which were supposed to be sent to my email. I figured I would be getting spam emails left and right, but I didn't think much of it.
Well, let me tell you, I wish I had thought twice. My computer froze completely, I couldn't even force shut it down by holding down the power button! As if that wasn't bad enough, 20 minutes later my iPhone alerted me that someone was trying to use my Apple ID!
It turns out that they had loaded my computer up with spyware and in no time at all were trying to use my information. I felt violated and angry, especially since I realised that none of the people who comment on their Facebook posts were real. They're all fake accounts!
I felt so foolish for not researching the site before I downloaded anything. It's frustrating that my Apple ID and passwords are now compromised, and I have no idea what other damage they've done to my computer. I've never had a computer fail to force shut down before, and I'm terrified about what I'm going to do next.
Please, please, please learn from my mistake and stay away from fixthephoto.com.
Fixthephoto.com Review: A Warning to Photographers About Their Unauthorized Use of Images
I just have to tell you about my experience with Fixthephoto.com. I was just doing my usual browse on the internet and came across an article on the "Best 30 Landscape Photographers to Inspire in 2021." To my surprise, one of my pictures was being used to illustrate the article. The photo was credited to my former boss, Galen Rowell, who had passed away a year before I even took the photo. I reached out to Fixthephoto.com multiple times, but they didn't even bother responding to me. I demanded that they either remove the image or pay for its use, but nothing happened.
To make matters worse, I found out that I wasn't the only photographer who had been mistreated by Fixthephoto.com. Another photographer had their photo used without permission and was misattributed to someone else in the same article. It's just not right. I looked into the company and found that though they claim to be based in Brooklyn, New York, their website is registered in Ukraine. This led me to believe that Fixthephoto.com isn't really on the up and up.
I've been keeping an eye on the article, and I noticed that they finally took down my photo. However, they replaced it with another photo of Galen's that was also unlicensed, which means it was used illegally as well. I did some more digging and found out that several other photographers on the list had also not given permission for their photos to be used on the site. This includes big names like Michael Kenna, Carr Clifton, Erin Babnik, Sean Bagshaw, Michael Frye, Isabella Tabacchi, and Fay Goodwin. I suspect that none of the photographers on the list actually granted permission for their photos to be used.
So, my advice is to stay far away from Fixthephoto.com. They clearly don't have any respect for photographers' intellectual property rights, and they don't seem to care about rectifying their mistakes. It's just not worth the risk.
FixThePhoto Violates Anti-Spam Laws: A Review of Their Marketing and Partnership Approach
I recently came across FixThePhoto, an online site that offers services for photo editing and retouching. However, despite never giving them my email address, I have received multiple cold calls (i.e. spam) from them this week, a total of five times. They claim that they want to "work with me" for SEO purposes, but it is clear that they have scraped my email address without my consent. This is a serious violation of CASL, Canada's anti-spam laws, and it is unacceptable.
As a human who values their privacy and is annoyed by unsolicited emails and cold calls, the fact that FixThePhoto has repeatedly contacted me without my permission is frustrating. It is clear that they are not respecting the laws and regulations in place to protect consumers from spam and unwanted contact.
It is worth noting that FixThePhoto has also reached out to my company, [CompanyName], multiple times to try and establish a content partnership. However, the emails they have sent to us are poorly written and riddled with errors, suggesting that they may not be the best choice for a content partner. One email from Ashley Davis, their supposed manager of the partners program department, even begins with "Hello [CompanyName] Team" before launching into a sales pitch.
That being said, I do acknowledge that FixThePhoto has a blog that they use to offer advice to their visitors. However, it is clear that they are more interested in promoting their own services and reaching new customers than they are in forming genuine partnerships with other companies or bloggers.
In conclusion, while FixThePhoto may have useful services for those in need of photo editing and retouching, their approach to marketing and partnership building needs improvement. It is important for them to stop spamming individuals and companies with unsolicited emails and instead focus on building genuine relationships with potential partners.
Mediocre Photo Editing Services: Fixthephoto Review
I recently decided to gift my mother with edited wedding photos as a surprise. I came across Fixthephoto's website and decided to give them a try. Initially, I sent in photos that only required minor editing, but the team insisted on doing $25 restoration work on all of them, explaining that it was because they were old photos. Despite my doubts, I consented to have the three worst photos restored.
Unfortunately, the restoration work was not satisfactory. Only one of the photos came back looking a little better, while the two others looked half-assed and hazy. I requested corrections, but they only managed to fix one yellow spot while leaving the rest of the photo hazy. I had to go back and request corrections multiple times before finally giving up and correcting the issue myself.
Aside from the poor quality of work, their communication was also subpar. They don't include all the necessary details in their emails, and the only reliable source of information is the comment section under your photos. It took four days to get my corrections, which is unacceptable.
Overall, I do not recommend Fixthephoto for photo editing. Their work is mediocre at best, and you'll probably have better luck on Etsy or other similar websites. Save yourself the time and effort and go elsewhere.

SCAM! Fake everything to steal passwords and personal info!
I downloaded some "free" overlays from their site... that got emailed to me...
(I figured I'd get a bunch of spam email from all kinds of sites... but I could deal with that.)
Sure... they sent the overlays to my email...
But now MY COMPUTER IS COMPLETELY FROZEN! I can't even do a force shut down by holding down the power button!
And on top of that... 20 minutes later... my iPhone notifies me that someone is trying to use my Apple ID!
They loaded my computer with spyware... and within a1/2 hour... began trying to use my info!
After it was too late...
I looked at their Facebook page...
All the people who comment on their posts are fake!
Look them up yourself... all the people connected to their Facebook page have no friends themselves... and posts are put up by a computer... with "likes" under the post... but there is never a comment that's written out. All done by a computer.
Now I feel so stupid for not looking up reviews about their site before I took the free overlay downloads!
My Apple ID and all my other passwords are easy to change... but who knows what damage they did to my computer.
I've never seen a computer not respond to a force shut down... and I have no idea how I'm gonna fix this...
Don't do what I did...
Don't go near fixthephoto.com
Spamming me
I've never given them my email address and yet they've cold called (spammed) me 5 times this week wanting to "work with me" for SEO purposes. They've clearly scraped my email address. This is violation of CASL (Canada's anti-spam laws)

Disappointing Experience with Fixthephoto: Still Waiting for Order and Refund
So, I had a pretty crappy experience with Fixthephoto. I forked over a whopping $189.00 back in March, and I still haven't gotten my pics or a refund. Like, seriously? Come on guys, get it together. It's been such a bummer dealing with this mess. I had to call my credit card company and go through all this headache just to try and get my hard-earned cash back. It's left me with a real lack of trust in this company. I mean, if they can't even handle fulfilling their promises, what can they handle? Overall, I'm feeling pretty discouraged and disappointed.

Fixthephoto Service Review: Disappointing and Unprofessional
I ain't gonna lie, Fixthephoto's service was a real letdown. I forked over $10 to get a fancy photo touch-up, but what I got in return was a downright shameful experience. It was like they didn't even try! My expectations were sky-high for a real high-quality professional photo editing package, but instead I got nothing more than some filter that seemed like it was slapped together using an app. Definitely not worth the money I paid!
Now don't get me wrong, I'm no expert when it comes to photo editing or anything, but I can certainly tell the difference between a professional job and a half-baked one. And let me tell you, Fixthephoto's work was definitely the latter. It was nothing but a total waste of my time and money.
Overall, it's pretty clear that I won't be using Fixthephoto ever again. If I'm gonna pay for a service, I want what I paid for: a quality photo editing service that can be trusted to do the job right. Sadly, Fixthephoto missed the mark and I definitely won't be recommending them to anyone looking for a quality photo touch-up.
Fixthephoto - Impressive Photo Editing Services with Stellar Results
So, I sent them another photo that wasn't as high in quality. I was worried that the photo wouldn't turn out that great, but I thought that it was worth a shot.
Well, I was pleasantly surprised! They were able to fix the photo and make it look so much better. I was amazed at how much better it looked after they worked on it.
Overall, I am very pleased with the work that Fixthephoto did. While I was a little frustrated that they couldn't work with my first photo, I was happy that they were able to help me with my second photo. They did an excellent job, and I would definitely recommend their services.
I will be using Fixthephoto again in the future for any photo editing needs that I have. Their work is top-notch, and they have great customer service. If you need any photo editing done, give Fixthephoto a try. You won't be disappointed!
Disappointing Experience with Fixthephoto's Editing Services: Overpriced and Poor Customer Service
Yo, so I was looking to get some editing done on my wedding pics, right? And I stumbled onto this Fixthephoto website. At first, it all looked pretty slick and fancy. But when I asked about their prices, the quote they gave me was way higher than what they had on their site. Twenty-five bones per photo? For just a little sprucing up? No way, man.
So I hit them up asking about it, and I got this total jerk of an email back. No explanation, no apologies, just bluntness. Like, what the heck?
I don't know what kind of game they're playing here, but from my experience, I wouldn't recommend Fixthephoto to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and find a local editor you can actually talk to face-to-face.
Beware of Fixthephoto.com: Misleading Advertising and Bait and Switch Tactics
I recently checked out Fixthephoto.com and I have to say, I'm not too pleased with what I found. They advertise all over their site, but when it comes to the 12 dollar credit they offer, they don't make it clear that it's only for professional photographers with bulk orders. I was excited to try it out with a free trial credit, but when it came time to actually use it, they asked me to pay. This feels like a classic bait and switch tactic to me. I won't be wasting any more of my time with this company.
Beware of Fixthephoto: Subpar Editing and Poor Customer Service
Fixthephoto is a company that claims to offer professional image editing services. However, my experience with them was far from professional. I was sorely disappointed with the quality of their work. In fact, I was able to do a better job myself using Photoshop. It was a complete waste of money to pay for their services.
When I first visited their website, I was impressed with how it looked. It appeared to be a top-notch editing company with some great pictures. However, I soon realized that their website was a sham. Their editing skills were subpar, to say the least.
One area where Fixthephoto really falls short is in their customer service. They are slow to respond to messages and take a long time to deliver finished projects. It's clear that they don't value their customers and don't see the importance of delivering high-quality work in a timely manner.
At the end of the day, I wouldn't recommend Fixthephoto to anyone looking for professional image editing. They aren't able to edit at a professional level and are nothing more than a scam. If you want quality work and value for your money, you're better off doing the job yourself or finding another editing company. Save yourself the time and money and stay away from Fixthephoto.
Unreliable pricing and unresponsive service - My experience with Fixthephoto
I reached out to Fixthephoto to get a quote for editing some of my pictures. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed to find out that the prices listed on their website were not accurate at all. On the website, they advertise that basic touch-up only costs $2.00 for a single photo. However, once I contacted them, they quoted me $12.00 per photo, which is a huge increase and completely out of my budget. If I wanted multiple people in one photo edited, the price went up to $30 per photo!
Initially, they were quite responsive to my inquiries. However, I noticed that once I asked them to modify my order, they suddenly stopped responding to my messages. I feel like they should have been more transparent about the pricing prior to me contacting them. It's disappointing when a company is not upfront about their prices, and then try to charge you more than what they advertised.
Overall, I would not recommend Fixthephoto. It's not worth the time or energy to deal with an unreliable company that doesn't honor their advertised prices. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else!
Disappointing service at Fixthephoto - Not recommended for quality photo editing
I was really disappionted with the service at Fixthephoto (fixthephoto.com)! I went in with high hopes, but quickly realized that they weren't going to be able to deliver what I was looking for. When I saw their previous work on the website, something just didn't seem right to me. It seemed too perfect, you know what I mean?
So, I decided to give them a chance, hoping that they could prove me wrong. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. One of the things I was really hoping for was some good colour correction for my photos. However, their approach to this was really disappointing. They basically just lightened the skin of the subjects, which is really not what I wanted. I was expecting them to make the skin colouring more pronounced or deeper, but instead they just went the easy way and whitened the skin. This was a major let-down for me, as I wanted a more natural look for my photos.
Overall, I would definitely not recommend Fixthephoto. Their services just don't live up to the hype, and they don't deliver quality work. If you're looking for a reliable photo editing service, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Don't make the same mistake I did!
Fixthephoto - A Frustrating Experience with Incorrect Invoicing
So, I wanted to get some of my photos looking better and decided to give Fixthephoto a try. I asked for simple touch-ups and waited for around a day before they sent me an invoice. Unfortunately, the invoice was wrong - they'd got some of the services mixed up and messed up the calculations, meaning the total cost was completely off.
What followed was a bit of a headache. I sent them messages explaining what needed corrected, but it seemed like my English wasn't great (which is fair, to be honest - I'm not the best at writing). Despite my best efforts, they just kept sending me more links to the same, messed up invoice.
After around a week of this, I decided to throw in the towel. It was just too frustrating and tiring. I went to another service to get my photos touched up, and they were much easier and better to work with.
Incompetent Editing Services - FixThePhoto.com Review
So, it's like this right, I wanted to get some o' my wedding photos edited - you know, like with all the fancy stuff. So, I contacted https://fixthephoto.com/ cuz I heard they're good at what they do. But yo, lemme tell you - I was wrong!
I got 10 photos edited by them, but it wasn't all smooth sailin'. They were supposed to remove hair from people's faces, but what happened was they removed half of their eyebrows too! And that ain't even the worst part. These guys were so incompetent that they distorted people's faces in the photos.
Yo, that's messed up! It's like these folks don't even know what they're doing! So, I asked them for a refund cuz they obviously messed up, but they sent me two more sets of edited photos with the same messed-up faces. I mean, come on! What's the point of paying good money for something they can't even do right? They charged me like $300 AUD for this nonsense.
Let me tell you, folks, don't waste your money on these imposters. You can find better photo editors who can actually do what they say they can do. I looked around on Etsy and found some amazing people who did a way better job. Don't fall for the hype and just go with these "professional" folks cuz you'll regret it!
