I bought a necklace for my son from Peoples last year March 2022 using my Flexiti. I don’t know how to use the online to check my statement so I called customer service this year on March 16th, 2023, to ask when is my due date for payment, because I don’t want to pay for late charges. The representative told me my due date is March 23, 2023, and I repeated it back to her and said yes. I even wrote the due date on my note. Therefore, I paid off my balance on the day of my due date.
After a few months, I got a statement, saying I have a balance of $700+ for the late fee. Little did I know that the representative gave me the wrong due date, it was supposed to be March 20th, 2023. Therefore, I called again customer service and let them know that their representative gave me the wrong information. Now they telling me that I never called on March 16th, 2023 according to their record, but I do have a proof/screenshot that I called them on that day.
The manager named Crystal, said that they will trace the recorded conversation on March 16th, 2023. It’s almost 2 months but she never call me back to update what was going on. That’s why I keep calling them and they never traced my recorded conversation with their representative.
I asked to waive off my balance since it was their representative’s fault for giving me the wrong due date and they never tracked my conversation with her. In the end, they only gave me 50% off and I paid it (paid $ 376.36 on June 19th, 2023) even though it was not my fault just to get it over. I was so pretty disappointed. I’ve been using a lot of credit cards and paid them off on time.
Update July 5, 2023: Now they charged me again $ 15.74 for the interest because they’re saying that I didn’t give them a call on June 19, 2023, that I paid. FIRST OF ALL, THEY DIDN’T GIVE ME CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS THE LAST TIME I CALLED THEM (JUNE 19, 2023) THAT DUE TO MY CASE I NEED TO CALL AGAIN TO LET THEM KNOW THAT I ALREADY PAID. Besides that, I mentioned that I’m going to make a payment on that day, so they should do their job to check it and waive off the other 50% off so I won’t get charged for the interest.
I feel like I’m doing their job to fix my own case. What an irresponsible credit card staff and management company! They never call me back to give updates, never traced the recorded conversation with the representative and didn’t give me clear instructions. It took 2 months to resolve this case. This was the worst experience I encountered.

I called them, they demanded my personal information and I refused to give it to them. I did however, give them the card number.
They said that the card was applied online in December. I didn't have a computer at that time. They suggested that someone else applied for it. They then continued the call by asking my personal information, which I declined to give.

I don't know how they got my name and address, like I mentioned before I have never heard of Fkexiti until that card arrived in my mail box.
If you purchase through *** on monthly plan and return Flexiti takes up 40plus days to change your account info so you will be charged plus interest ..
i made a purchase of a lift kit for my truck cost about 1600then i got them to install another 1000 witch is fine i was told if i pay that $2600 with in the 6-8 month window u don't have to pay interest. i said cool ill for sure pay that off bay then. payment is monthly and around a $160 a month not bad i guess. then to find that i was getting charged interest and took $110 in interest leaving me with 50 only going towards the accrual payment so there would be 0 chance paying it off early.
I only got the card because I previously had a *** Business card and they cancelled their program and replaced it with Fexiti. I used the card twice, once in January and a second time in March this year. They charged me a fee of $99.99 both in January and March. I paid the first one thinking it was an annual fee however, when I got the second charge I did not pay it. Since March I have been trying to contact the customer service with no response to emails or phone calls. I finally had someone call me today, as I have not paid the fee and tell me this is their normal practice, use the card and you get a $100 fee - as if...t
. They WILL hurt you financially. What they offer is the opposite of a service. If any store offers you or tries to push Flexiti financing on you, leave your purchases on the counter and walk away.

Horrible company,can't get an invoice from them and never know when the due date is for a payment and they relentlessly phone you all hours of the day..7or8 times..
i am trying to cancel and close my account with Flexiti and spoke with a customer service rep. After being on the phone for 25 minutes, i am repeatedly put on hold, and told that they need further assistance. I was just put back on hold. The customer service rep must be new on the job - and i understand that...however, putting a client on hold repeatedly is not the answer. I have emailed - no response. I have never used the account and do not see why this process is so difficult.
Flexiti Financial is the worse company to work with. Management does not support their employees. Customers have told us they do not respect their way of doing business and most cancel their credit cards because of unexpected fees they do not tell their customers about.

I registered with Flexiti for purchases at a specific retailer, but upon card usage, it showed invalid. Contacting customer service, I learned my Flexiti card isn't accepted at this retailer due to my account type. Confused, I questioned why the retailer is promoted on their site if purchases are restricted. The response was vague, discussing rates rather than addressing the issue. They offered a retailer list usable with my card, which was pointless as those stores aren't in my city. Frustrated by the misinformation and a mysterious alternate list they mentioned, I perceived it as false advertising and immediately closed my account.

This is a terrible company. I've had nothing but problems dealing with the Customer Service department. The representatives either speak over you or in a very condescending way, or are not consistent with their policies and procedures. It took a full 6 months to have a new card issued after a legal name change on my Flexiti account, then they got the spelling wrong on the new card. So I had to call them again, wait on hold forever, then speak with a very unpleasant woman who was condescending and continually spoke over me. They insisted that in order to get a new card issued they had to change my numbers, which isn't true because they had already issued me a 2nd card with the same numbers (the one that took 6 months to receive). They deactivated my account numbers without my authorization and went ahead with an action to change my account without my consent. I have had unpleasant interactions with representatives in the past where they were unprofessional and lacking knowledge of their product and services offered. I felt like I was speaking with a child working off a cell phone in their parent's basement. As a financial company I would expect professionalism and knowledge of product at the bare minimum.

Unexpected charges from a payment plan
Too many tricky things. FLEXITI has an option of paying over 12 months and the Dentist applies for me. However, when I pay the money back, I found there are extra 99.84 dollars I need to pay. I call them, and I was told it is for insurance. I said I never asked for insurance. Then it might be the dentist, but the dentist says they never buy insurance for clients. Then who bought the insurance for me? More crazy thing is I call FLEXITI and the related insurance company and follow their procedure to cancel the insurance. I did not get the refund. Then I was told that I need to pay 99.84 each month. Crazy! 99.84 each month! But I have cancelled, so I do not need to pay each month. But what I have paid cannot get a refund because one month has passed. The question is I didn't even know about the insurance until I received the statement and called them. Then I have to call FLEXITI and the insurance company and understand what is going on. It has been one month passed.
Beware of Flexiti Finance! I had fraud on my card, they didn't care and wanted payment with interest. They told me if I needed to dispute it that I had to go to the police station and file a report! What business does this?

I signed up for Flexiti so I could purchase some items from a particular store and when I tried to use the card, it told me the number was invalid.
I called Flexiti Customer Service only to be told that I apparently can't use my Flexiti card to buy things at this store because of my account type. I then proceeded to ask why this store is listed on the website (literally the first store on the website) if I can't make a purchase and they were unable to answer my question, instead, just began spouting nonsense about rates/percentages etc.
They then tried to send me a current list of the retailers I could use (Even though I repeatedly told them I literally don't even have any of these retailers in my city) and I pretty much said, 'What's the point of giving me a list if it's not correct'? and then she told me, 'Well I have a different list'... So, why do you have a different list?
This is complete false advertisement and I closed my account on the spot.
Has vendors promoting their 18 month interest free plans but does not communicate with vendors or customers about pertinant details of how customers can loose promotions. Vendors telling customers they can pay at their leisure over 18 months. However, customers must pay every month on time in the exact amount due or their promotion is lost. Flexiti won't tell you about this until your promotion is lost and will bury the information in fine print which they don't make easily available to you. For example, a hard copy of the terms and conditions, as standard with most businesses, is not provided with purchase for you to take home.

After few months of equal payment, I learned that there was a payment protection insurance every month for $15. I called and cancelled the insurance however the past months was not waive. HOw come I was charge for insurance without being offered and discussed, in tot her words, without my knowledge, isthis LEGAL? I close my card and they keep sending emails and call for my "balance" of the insurance. I asked to waive but they refused. Because of the shut down my first payment (I sent a cheque) did not arrive. I called spoke to a supervisor and informed them that I would stop payment on the 1st cheque and send a replacement by expresspost, which I did.
They received that cheque and my account was paid in full. Some three weeks later my 1st cheque arrived and they cashed that too even when they were not supposed to. I had put the stop payment on that cheque so of course it was refused. They then hit me with an NSF charge.
I called and they were *** ignorant to me. Informed me that I had to pay the NFS fee because I hadn't filled out the first cheque properly? I told the guy I had no intention of paying it and he says well then email the company.
I did just that. With pictures of both of the cheques and the expresspost receipt. That was the 12 of September. I have had no response so I sent another email today and will call them again.
What an aggravation! I will cancel my account asap

They told me that I needed to update my info with both companies. When I called the credit companies, one confirmed my info was correct, while the other corrected my phone number. After this, I contacted Flexiti again as requested. Despite the possibility of information not being updated, they did another hard credit check and made me feel dishonest. Natasha mentioned that information updates can be slow. I questioned why this wasn't disclosed earlier. She replied that I had agreed to the check, not considering whether the update was reflected in their report. I expect full disclosure from professionals in this field before proceeding.

I had an interest free 18 month loan, which I had automatic monthly payments that would clear the debt before the actual 18 month term. They called me back in September stating I had missed a payment in August, I then had to provide a screenshot of my banking to prove the payment was taken out of my bank account and was paid on time for the month in question. They later on received the payment and I thought this issue was cleared up. I then come to find out they had charged me interest on the late payment, it is now The end of June and I am still receiving *** emails of collection agencies and affected bad credit rating due to this *** company.
I have spoken with a new person about this a couple times each month since last September, waited 20-40 minutes to be told that my issue will be put under investigation with no end result.

I have been trying to get this sorted out for several weeks. Flexiti keeps calling me for payment and does not look at the comments on my account. As soon as I instruct who is calling to look at the comments, they apologize for the inconvenience. I am tired of the run around so have paid my account in full including the insurance payments that I did not want as I don't want this to affect my credit. I will never deal with them again as nothing seems to be resolved. All this did was cost me an extra $300 to finance the applicances for the 2 months of problems. I also was charged $24.99 for a user fee which I was not told about.

They told me my account was on hold pending my payment to clear. I asked why was that the case when my credit limit available was much more than I needed. They couldn't give me a straight answer on when it will available to use. I gave jt the weekend and called them back to see if they could tell ne when the hold will be released. I mentioned on how I logged into my account and it said that my full available credit was there along with a overpayment. They then informed that my account was closed due to bad payment history meanwhile I have everything paid off in 8 months when I had 1 year to pay it. I don't agree with the way they handled this and I'm concerned that this may affect my credit when in deed I had it paid in full months before the designated time. I would like a apology from them. My over payment sent to me and my account reinstated.

Just purchased a TV end of June . Did it on 3 month payment plan. Paid $700 for TV upfront and had rest of television on flexiti (about $400). Just received first statement and there is a $24.99 "annual fee".
I received the new cards (when flexiti purchased ***) in 2018. I received NO new cardholder agreement and was told they were the same as the original cards.
I called Flexiti and they told me they do not send out cardholder agreements as you get them when you apply. *** I did not apply with them, I applied with *** years ago THROUGH the stores. I was told that the "annual fee" is a one time charge that gets activated when you use the card and on its annual date. That is terrible for small ticket items paid off quickly. If you take $400 financed on the card and get an instant fee of $25 that the equivalent of a very high interest rate.
Will be cancelling all $22,000 available credit in Flexiti and never looking back. They are a predatory company and I am sure some less-savy folks get caught up in their .

I bought a sofa & love seat from a very respected furniture store in the Fall of 2021. I could have just paid for it but the salesman told me that if I open a Flexiti Account I could get it now and not pay for a year with no interest. I had taken advantage of this a few times at other stores - they were honest and true to their word and I was pleased with my purchase. Flexiti is a different story. My first statement arrived online nine days after delivery of the furniture. It posted an 'Administration fee' of $79.99 and a 'Fees and Interest Charged' of $61.52. What the 'Fees and Interest charge' is for I can't say but I'm assuming it is nothing more than a money grab. I started making payments of $100 monthly just to chip away at the bill, but today took a look at the account and wondered why with 4 payments of $100 the outstanding balance was only $77 less than it was initially. I looked further at the transactions and saw that I was paying monthly for 'Defender Premium'. It turns out that they automatically enrol you with an insurance company and to cancel it I'd have to write them and request it. Even if I'd have done that they don't refund any charges they've already applied so they get some money out of you the instant you open an account. I paid them $59.89, $60.44, $60.99 and $61.52 respectively. So today I paid off this account in full and I'll of course be cancelling it the instant they receive the payment. Flexiti is disgusting and I'm not very happy with the furniture store either as I have always thought well of them. If Flexiti responds to this entry I assure you it will just be a lot of sugar coated crap like I've seen them sprinkle on the other entries.

All of the reviews tried to warn me. They stated in bold, heavy lettering that this card was a complete waste of time, and they could not be more right. I had a sick feeling in my gut that turned out to be bang on. My card arrives with a $3,000 limit. Weirdness number one is the fact that most of the merchants, limited to furniture, jewellery and electronic stores, will not allow you to use the card online so in the midst of pandemic recovery, you have to go to the store for in-person shopping. That should have been enough to deter me but the idea of having a little extra cash this time of year enticed me and I charged ahead to the one store from their list of merchants that I enjoy shopping with. Cautiously I approach the cashier prior to shopping around to confirm that the Flexiti card is accepted as there is no signage to support this brand. They assure me they do. Surprised and prematurely confident I do my shopping and go back to the same cashier with my $250 worth of purchases. After ringing it all through, and a line-up behind me, they process my payment insisting that the terms are payment is due immediately, that with my card there are no options to pay in 3 or 6 or 12 months like the card boasts. Surprised I confirm that I cannot use the Flexiti card as my method of payment? That is correct sir. Then what is the point of having a card with a $3,000 limit if I cannot use it for credit purposes? So even with a zero balance owing, I cannot use Flexiti to pay with, I must use another method of payment. I call Flexiti and their response was that, among other stores that accept Flexiti like People's jewelers, don't have a promotion going on with Flexiti which means that payment is due IMMEDIATELY. And both stores are both featured as the preferred places to shop on the Flexiti website. No good comes from having this card, only stress and your time wasted. Needless to say, I cancelled the card.

I have 3 things on my account two under a no payment no interest and 1 that was 3 equal payments Totalling $500 I paid $625 before the deadline thinking they would pay it off and push the excess to my other no payment no interest accounts. Instead to my surprise a month later all on one day I receive 4 interest charges to my account 1 for $1, $6, $230, then a final same day of $430, no label to why or what it was for just all under interest charge. I phone them the guy says I didn't pay according to the agreement so they charged interest which that account was paid 23days ahead of final due date and overpaid by $125. ***. He puts me on hold, then comes back and says he talked to client care and they agreed to reimburse my $670 in interest payments and reset my no interest no payments which apparently were faulted somehow even though they aren't due till the end of this year. A month later I get another $115 interest charge and go through all the same things on the phone minus the laughing at me to hear, well the reverse charges etc have to go through approval and it hasn't been finished yet. Even So now again I'm waiting another month to find out what happens and if these interest charges on my account for items that were already paid off and items that are still under no pay no interest actually get fixed. I will never be dealing with this company again and I advise anyone who is looking at these guys as an option to excessive extreme caution and advise to choose another option. Also this is just a summary of what I went through doesn't include how they talked to me the attitude they used, the lack of care for my concerns and treated me like I'm stupid for asking and not understanding where my money is going or why these Interest charges are appearing, The only answer I received from them was "because my one item on my account was 3 equal payments and I over paid earlier then the due date they put the whole payment I paid onto my other no payment no interest accounts (which kind you still show as no payments made) which then still put that payment in arrears which allowed them to void all of my contracts and charge me continually for interest on all accounts and continue to do so until I pay the entirety of all accounts off at the same time.

You have a purchase of $2,600.- gets 18 months interest free contract for $143,- a month. unfortunate you missed the first 3 payments. I understand You have a 450,- balance.
I decide to pay $1850,- because of a positive tax refund. remaining interest free balance for the remaining 15 months should be $415,- So I was assuming that I was good till January 2024. I did not paid the remaining balance till Feb 2024. Flexiti somehow want you to pay the remaining 3 months right away in May June and July from 2023 and so I accumulated in my an unfair interest dept. I was 9 months in advance with my payments.
This is not correct. The contract stated 18 months to pay the full price and now because of a lump sum it was brought back to 9 months.

Hello, I purchased appliances from a store with loan approved by flexiti, we were supposed to pay before 6th dec2023 for the stuff we bought and we did payment around 4 dec that was updated in my flextiti account too But the problem now comes they gave us insurance that we were never aware of and the amount was around 1400$ like why would a person buy insurance for amount of 8000$ appliances. I made a call to flexi and my insurance company both but they are not ready to listen and disconnecting the phon by telling you need to pay. Just about a day ago they send us interest rate amounting to around 3300$ and around 800$ for the insurance. IT will be great if we are not charged anything for the services we were never aware of or used for

I called today at 12:36 pm eastern time and a french representative named Lucy answered my call. She was rude and started screaming at me when I told her that I don’t understand the interest charges over my monthly payments. I asked her politely to explain again why I have to pay a big amount and she decided to scream at me, rude and arrogant. She even hung up the phone on me.
Claimed loss: I’m still frustrated because i don’t understand how those interests work and that’s not how i should be treated when i have questions about my finances.

Statements are vague
False information is being sent to customers in regards to balances owing. Flexiti sends statements declaring a $0 balance owing unless you log into their website to confirm actual statement balances owing with "deferred interest". This company practices false advertising to their customers and collect their profits from interest accumlated at 30% I didn't receive any notice that I owed anything until the past due date of agreed payment. I could have made that payment in full if I was notified properly! I tried to reason with a representative to no avail. Please make this company be more transparent and upfront with their statements and balances.
Desired outcome: I would like to only pay the purchase amount owing less the interest fees.
Credit Card with Flexitime
I purchased earrings from People in 2023 the associate offered the credit card and I was approved. She said don’t pay for 1 year no interest and interest will only be charged after 1 year. I logged into their portal once. I got email statements or a brief statement indicating no payments. I got August 14 indicating no amount due Sep 1 and now it’s Sep 14 and I owe the original purchase amount plus interest for a year. I called them and they said nothing they can do. I do not think this is fair. Why make their email statements deceiving and they have an unfriendly portal, hard to navigate, log in and poor customer service. My interest is 1000$ plus. Additionally one of the managers disconnected my call. They said to contact Peoples is it my responsibility to train the staff correctly ? Never again will I use or refer this credit card company. Looking for a fair resolution. The manager said will the amount is owed, I never said I’m not paying. I’m disputing the interest amount.

Well it’s now 3 months later and I only paid 31 dollars towards my tv getting charged 36-39 dollars a month on a 68 dollar payment that’s crazy if you ask me good thing I never referred them to anyone nothing but a huge rip off I’ll be paying this tv till I’m 75 at this rated do not recommend at -10 and will be cancelling this joke of a card once my tv is paid screw them worst then the Canadian government
Credit card fraud
I was a victim of a fraudster who took money of my banking account and credited it to a flexiti credit card. Upon talking to flexiti customer care and its fraud team, they informed me and my bank that the credit card holder impersonated someone else and had acquired the flexiti credit card.
The incident was reported to the flexiti team on the next day from my bank and sent the recovery notice via email to bring the unauthorized transaction. But despite that flexiti came with an answer the amount cannot be reversed as there is nothing left if the credit card to be recovered.
Desired outcome: I am seeking help on this case from the complaints board as I am not able to raise a complaint directly with flexiti as I am not an customer of FLXITI
Sent to collections for a cancelled order
I was pre-approved 2 years ago for 2500.00 thru flexiti financial which I went thru a merchant thru them furniture depot I paid out of my own pocket for the first payment to be taken care of before arriving 6 months later no furniture or contact.so I cancelled it thru furniture depot but flexiti got collections on me I fought it thru equifax and won now furniture depot is trying to get collections on me PGA group...I ve had enough and my credit is already being worked on but this issue keeps sending it down worse.I feel ignored and robbed and nobody acknowledged me thru flexiti they ignored me abd threatened me and sent me to collections.
Desired outcome: I want the money I put into this so my payment wasn't late and I made double payment mostly take collections off me and an appoligize after two years of harassment and humiliation.
Interest & differential fee charged with no fault of customer
I purchased some furniture at The Brick in April 2023 and was given the option of financing through Flexiti for a period of 3 months free , the 4th month I was to pay however I was not receiving any statements for 2 months straight I was hence delayed by 16days. I immediately made the payment of $742.75 and sent the proof however, they said they would still charge the differential fee of $59.99. As a customer I kept requesting to waive out of goodwill as I honestly received no statement and have never defaulted on my payment but it seemed I was to be blamed for not receiving notifications from them. I received notifications for May & June but not july and august I some what feel the company does this on purpose to make money. I am also facing a situation where I have a family member hospitalized who is dying and cannot manage to chase companies when I have signed up for a service I expect prompt communication.
This is my first bad experience with a financial company. No customer service at all. Just a bunch of people not willing to hear you out and saying they can do nothing to help when they can just waive the fee.
I do not understand how the company expects to earn customers when they are unable to provide a decent service. I would never use this service again despite paying on time and being 16days late according to them I need to pay $60. Buying furniture cost me an extra meal at a fancy restuarant.

Complex, confusing and unfair system!
I purchased some furniture and appliances at The Brick in November 2021 and was given the option of financing through Flexiti. Now I was very comfortable with that since I use that option at a couple of other places too and very successfully.
Their system of approval was online so I was approved immediately in a few steps. I understood the amount and my EPP for 36 months and then started paying monthly. I was told if I missed 2 payments in 12 months my 0% interest rate would cease to exist and I "MAY BE charged a higher amount".
Then on I have been receiving 2 emails a month from them -
1) Your statement is ready to view.
2) Thank you for your payment.
I have to say here - the portal is really not friendly nor useful - you can log in only 2 out of 10 times otherwise there are technical issues so honestly I did not check the portal too often.
In June 2023 I was checking all my credit statuses since I was due for a mortgage renewal and I realized when I was able to log in -
That since August 2022 I have been paying 40% interest to Flexiti for 10 months!
When I called them - they said there were 2 late payments by a few days in April and August of 2022 and so it is a valid thing.
There were no communications. To date no reminders. No calls. No information. I was told I should have read my terms and conditions better and checked my portal more regularly.
Who goes from 0% to 40% without any information? They can send me 2 emails a month but not a single communication on that kind of interest change? I feel cheated and very very disappointed. I have paid regularly and now more than $2000 in interest only and I am told nothing can be done about it!
I am hoping someone here can intervene and negotiate for me. I cannot afford these charges at all. I am mentally very very disturbed and upset.

I purchased a ring to propose my girlfriend in May 2022 using the 0% interest promotional plan by Flexiti. I made sure to autopay the total amount in installments every month before the due date with the last payment going out on April 27th, 2023 of CA$333.33. Unfortunately after diligently paying CA$333.33 for 12 months there was still an amount of CA$0.04 that was pending on the account after the last payment. I was charged an interest of $863 on May 4th because there was 4 cents pending on my account. There was no reminder from Flexiti notifying the promotional period end date nearing nor was there any notification about the interest being charged because of the pending amount of 4 cents. On top of that the promotional period ended before the statement was issued so the only notification I received was that the interest was charged.
Flexiti charged me because a massive interest on the 0.001% of the total amount that was unpaid. And they are sticking to their guns and making sure my concern is not heard because of a technicality in their T&C. There is not even a thing you can buy in 4 cents these days and they are holding me accountable for not paying the full amount after paying 99.999% of the borrowed amount. Is there anyone that can help me with this situation?

My account is in good standing and always paid on time.
I had to contact them twice since my purchase in November regarding unnecessary interest charges, which they repaid back to me. How many people do they do this to?
My due dates have been between the 2nd and 4th of every month. I've setup an automatic payment for the 1st of every month.
Now all of a sudden the due date has been changed to the 31st? I get paid on the 30th/31st of every month. This just seems like another scheme to charge me interest fees on "late payments". I have sent emails, but no response.
Is this how this company works? Cheating customers by charging extra fees?
Desired outcome: I want the date moved back between the 2nd - 4th of every month. I don't want to be cheated and expected to pay extra interest fees. I really hope they're not doing this to everyone else.
People's billing and statement
In August of 2021 my husband went to Peoples Jeweller's to buy me a ring for my 60th birthday. It was a surprise gift for me.
They offered him a credit card where he wouldn't have to pay for 18 months interest free.
In January 2023, it was due so he gave me the information for me to pay as English is his second language and I pay all the bills. So I opened the statement and clearly the statement said on the first page (payment due date Jan 23/23). I paid the whole amount of $3558.77 on January 18, 2023, a few days earlier so the payment arrives in plenty of time. They received the payment on Jan 19, 2023, 4 days before the payment is due.
A few weeks later, my husband receives a call from Opal (who works for their Total Credit Recovery) advising him that he owes 2,088.40 in interest for the whole 18 months. They have been charging interest every month as well since January so now the total is $ 2,259.71. This is so ridiculous.
I called Flexiti for my husband and spoke to Jenie(I believe that is the spelling of her name), they advised me to send them the proof of when it was paid, which I did and said that they would look into this for me. A few days later, I called them and they transferred me to Opal and she insisted that I needed to pay the full amount before January 15, 2023 (not even on the due date) to avoid the interest. The due date on the front page, in big bold writing was not the real due date. That is totally confusing, when any visa or bills need to be paid, you go by the due date to avoid interest.
Opal told me I needed to pay the minimum balance of $ 211.31 to keep the account in good standing and she would look into seeing what she can do for me.
When my husband received this credit card at People's, the only thing that he was told was that the promotion was 18 months no payment, no interest.
They sent my husband a statement clearly showing the due date of January 23, 2023. Their statements are clearly misleading and confusing.
They advised that even when they received the money on January 19th, it was still considered late. The due date was not the real due date. If Jan 23rd wasn't the due date, then why did it show on their statement?

I have scheduled monthly payments with Flexiti for one purchase, I never reviewed the account, and after almost 2 years, I looked at a statement to see that I had been charged almost 30% interest on a 0% interest plan. I did have a missed payment when switching banks, and this was discussed on the phone with them at the time, and was told it was not an issue. After seeing the interest, I called to have the interest fixed, but was told they can't, and was argued with. Bad note keeping and *** lending, I paid off the account in the moment, but would like the interest refunded
I have 2 remaining promotions with Flexiti. In September 2022, I was charged interest of 395.53 due to a missed payment of $29.37 that was due on August 15th. I am now being charged 100 a month interest on top of this. Unfortunately I did not realize I had missed this payment and paid the past due amount as soon as I realized in September when I was looking at September's statements. I have been told I have 2 missed payments but no where in my records on my account can I find any other missed payments other than the one for August. I called to find out why I was charged interest for something I haven't even been paying for. The payments do not start until December 2022. I have spoken to two different employees and no one can provide me a straight answer I was told they would look into my account further and I would receive a phone call back. I have not received any phone calls to explain why I am being charged 400 dollars in interest for something that I was not even paying for yet. The associate stated that I have past due balances on my statements but according to what I was provided other than for the missed payment there are 0.00 past due amounts on my statements. I had no issues paying interest on something that I was paying for but how does one get charged interest on something they are not paying for and do not pay for until 3 months after this charge was applied. I still have no resolution, I have no clear answers and I am thoroughly frustrated and upset that for someone who pays most often than not more than the payment amounts, puts extra down often, pays for the defender plan and missed a single payment of 29.37 accidentally now has to deal with a random charge that was worth a third of the over all amount the charge was applied from. I do not care about the other smaller interest charges I would just like the interest charges for this matter removed.

I bought a bed and opened up a credit card for free delivery and setup. I thought it was a great deal. It was with a company called Flexity. After a delivery issue, Flexity credited my account. I only wanted the account for the delivery discount. I've contacted Flexity multiple times and even reached out to my Federal Member of Parliament five times without help. I've written letters of complaint. It's wrong for a credit card company to keep funds and not close the account upon request. I'm seeking help to retrieve my balance of $101.69. Flexity is asking for more personal information for a refund. They want bank details but won't send a check to my address. They have my email and keep sending statements with my credit. I'm asking for a check or e-transfer. If I owed them, they'd charge interest. I need my money without giving out banking details. I've had credits with other companies who sent checks without issue. Flexity's behavior, seeking personal details when they owe me, is concerning. My card number ends in a series of digits.

In December , I purchased a bed from a well-known retailer and opted for their Flexiti equal monthly payment plan, which promised no interest. That same month, I made two payments, effectively doubling the initial amount due. In January 2022, I continued my proactive approach and made payments that tripled the required monthly amount. Come March 2022, I once again paid double the amount due. Following that, I consistently made the necessary monthly payments on time, every month.
However, I recently discovered that over the past three months, a substantial amount of interest had been charged to my account. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that the promotional agreement had been 'broken' because, according to them, my payments were not made 'on time.' After spending over 56 minutes on the phone with two customer service representatives and a supervisor, I was repeatedly told that I was in the wrong. One representative even suggested that my payments were made too early. The supervisor acknowledged that I had never missed a payment but insisted that the promotional deal had been cancelled by the retailer, thereby justifying the interest charges. They firmly refused to make any adjustments to my account.
Despite their claims that the promotion was cancelled, it still appears as active on my online dashboard. As a result of this dispute, I have closed my account and settled the outstanding balance, excluding the $465.35 in interest that was charged in the last three months, which they are now unwilling to waive.
I have made purchases with this company and they have been extremely unprofessional when handling my claims. I called them a few weeks ago regarding some interest charges they had told me that my account had in crude interest but I had spoke with a manager and he had told me if I had paid a certain balance he would credit me the interest charges and correct my account so that I can continue making the monthly payment until my plan expires. I made the payment as directed But I still see interest charges accumulating on my account, I have tried to call him over 10 times and every time I call in the automated message first states that they are having delay issues in receiving paper bills also when I keep in my information from the automated system to pull up my profile it gives me an option to speak with a representative and when I click that option it says that I clicked An invalid selection and it also states to please try again and then the phone hangs up right away I did that about 8 to 10 times trying to see if I can connect with somebody and East attempt to do so the Phone continues to disconnect. I have couple plans on my file that I believe are expiring soon and once they are expired and they are not paid in full the account will in crew interest which I am trying to avoid by contacting them ahead of time so that I can figure out the accurate balance to pay off the account with flex city not answering my phone calls and their automated system is disconnecting calls so that customers cannot get in contact with a customer service rep it is hindering my account and possibly putting me in a delinquent status which is going to cost me lots of money. I had a loan with this company which has been paid in full for a year. They are still taking my money on a monthly basis. I have called month after month, and have to email each month to get my money back. they tell me they will refund the money and close my account but each month this continues. I have been to the bank and they can't even put a stop payment because they change the withdrawal numbers each month Flexiti says as of today that I am e-transfering them the money and again my account is not closed. So far they have refunded me over 900.00. This has to stop please help me I have done everything to put an end to this and each month there is another withdrawal with no end in sight

The retailer told me about the no-no for 6 months and the admin fee $59.99 - which I agreed to. A few days later I decided I wanted a higher end lens - returned the original lens and purchased another lens (an additional $391.94). Again a few days later I checked my account on line and discovered that I had been charged the admin fee again. The rep I spoke to at Flexiti was not able to answer my questions about the charge but said that she made notes on my account (for investigation) and that if I called the following week someone should be able to help me resolve. I called Flexiti and the person I spoke to saw the notes but was not able to resolve the issue (above her pay grade). I then asked to speak with a manager, I was on hold for approx 50 mins - no one ever picked up to help so I hung up. My complaint is the communication process and the cardholder agreement that seems to be unclear & contradictory in places. In my opinion I should have not been charged the admin fee twice. Flexiti Reps told me the charge was by the retailer - not true according to retailer and turns out I should have been notified of the 2nd charge by the retailer but speaking with them at length they just got a small binder, no training, and had to figure it out on their own - they had no idea I would be charged again. In fact the senior sales person at *** said I was the first client he had processed. I will go to the retailer to relay my experience with Flexiti but thought I'd try through you 1st. BTW I sent an email last week through their web portal but never got a response. I would like the 2nd admin fee reimbursed. Thank you

Hi, my name is [Redacted]. On September 26th, I purchased a television from a retailer, a 65-inch model. During the transaction, I was informed about the Flexiti credit card, which offered a 12-month payment deferral, similar to a cash transaction, with a credit card registration fee of $119.98. Prior to the payment deadline of September 26th, 2022, I received a notification from Flexiti stating that my account was overdue by two payments, with a minimum payment of $43.55. This indicated that I had not met their requirements as per the cardholder's agreement. A report of this delinquency would negatively impact my credit rating, and the annual interest continued to accumulate on my outstanding balance. The balance on the Flexiti card was $4149.39. However, before the due date, interest was added to my account without prior notice. The new amount I was asked to pay was $5680.40. I addressed this issue with the retailer, but they insisted that I must pay the original amount of $4149.39 before the due date. I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter.

I've been passed from Flexiti to the online store, repeating this story since Sept 2, it's now Sept 22. It is as simple as the online store confirming the orders they received from me, that correspond with what was delivered but when Flexiti speaks with the online store they say they can't take the charges off. Flexiti maintains that they cannot take the orders off and expecting me to pay $1684.87 to them for items I did not receive. I am not happy with Flexiti. Each time I call them they say they cannot do anything and to call the online store!
I had an account with Flexiti Financial, which is a payment processing service. I made a purchase on December 5, for $327.69 and another on December 13, for $122.58. Upon receiving my statement, I noticed they charged me two administrative fees of $99.99 each. I contacted them and explained that I did not agree to a deferred payment plan of 24 months with no interest. I paid off both purchases on December 27. I reached out to them again on January 3, 2022, to request that the administrative fees be waived. They informed me that the fees were still due as they were the cost associated with charging to the account. Ultimately, I decided to cancel my account and paid the fees to ensure my credit was not affected. This was a business account, and I believe it should be considered unlawful to charge such fees if the payment for the charges has been paid in full within 30 days.

On February 11, 2022, Flexiti claimed I missed a $218.22 CAD payment for a $2,682.00 CAD purchase on January 27, 2022, which I didn't make. I contacted Flexiti, confused, and they mentioned new interest charges. On February 12, 2022, I visited the retailer and confirmed with their finance department that no transaction was made on January 27, 2022. I urge Flexiti and the retailer to resolve this error as it's affecting my stress levels and credit score. I refuse to pay for an unmade purchase and question the interest on my initial purchase, which should be interest-free. I demand written confirmation that all false charges and interest on my $5,000.00 CAD purchase will be dropped.

The website has been a mess since I have started using Flexiti. This causes a ton of frustration as I can't see my monthly statement or log in at all. When I go to log in I out all my information in and when I press "login" it prompts me to change my password. Firstly it was just accepting my new password but wouldn't let you log in with it so it was a circle of logging in with old password, creating new password, it not working, logging in with old password, prompting for a new password and on and on... NOW it still prompts me for a new password but will not even accept any new passwords saying "it doesn't meet all the requirements" which it does. I've tried numerous new passwords always meeting the requirements and it will not let me change it... I called customer service almost a year ago and they said they were having issues with their website and its still NOT FIXED!

I asked specifically whether a "hard" credit check would be done and they responded by saying only a "soft" inquiry would be made. To my surprise, I noticed today, August 21/22 that a hard inquiry was made. I would like this hard inquiry expunged from my report.
I was charged interest on a 0% for 36 months even though i over paid the account. Please see below, they said it's because i missed july, but i double paid june by mistake, so whats the diferrence? i was still over in payments. This is a complaint about Flexiti Financial. I purchased a bed from a retail store in October and chose to finance it with Flexiti's credit service. The agreement was for a no-interest, equal payment plan. Admittedly, I was late on two payments, but I subsequently caught up on them. Upon reviewing my latest statement, I discovered that I have been charged approximately $1200 in interest. Despite my attempts to resolve this, Flexiti Financial is not willing to issue a credit for these charges. Throughout this process, I received no notifications or warnings regarding the imposition of such interest fees.
