I ordered an arrangement titled "Teleflora's Mercury Glass Bowl Bouquet" and described on the website as "A classic holiday centerpiece shines in our signature Mercury Glass Bowl" for my mother for Christmas 2023. The item that was delivered on 12/13/23 arrived in a leaking plastic container that read "Wish Upon a Star Fish" on the side of it. The delivered arrangement also had orange candles, not the "deep red taper candles" described online. I followed up with customer service immediately and tried to rectify the situation. The customer service representative told me that the local florist did not have a mercury glass bowl on hand and did not offer to replace the container in any other way (i.e. send the proper, advertised container from another source). There was no response to my request that the florist pick up the arrangement from my elderly mother's home so that it could be returned for a refund. Over a week of back-and-forth I was told by customer service that the delivered arrangement met the substitution policy and that "we will only substitute items of equal or higher value," which absolutely did not apply in this case. I will never order from Flower Shopping.com again and urge others to follow suit.
Claimed loss: $89.34
Desired outcome: Full refund
