Don't use this company!
Don't use this company! It's been 3 months of lies, empty promises, excuses, the run around, incomplete work, and a kitchen full of mold that they knew about! This company has been paid in full and couldn't care less about customer service! We've been waiting on cabinets for 2 months, no baseboards for 3 months, and a timeline of lies from this company! I really don't get how they're still in business. They were hired by my insurance company and now finding out this is normal for them! Stay away! Stay clearly away!
I dunno if I'd trust this company, even though they say they're ComplaintsBoard.com approved!
I dunno if I'd trust this company, even though they say they're ComplaintsBoard.com approved! We waited a crazy long 2 1/2 months for them to do any work on our house. We had a whole bunch of project managers, like 7 of 'em, and they all talked a big game. But only one of 'em actually got anything done. Our house was left wide open and unsecure for days on end, with the key just chillin' in the key box or left in the lock. They made a ton of empty promises and said sorry a bunch, but it didn't mean squat. I wasted so much time textin', callin', and emailin' 'em just to get 'em to do what they were supposed to. They even had the nerve to ask us to sign off that all the work was done, and then two hours later some dudes finally showed up to do the work. So unprofessional, always makin' excuses. Seriously, don't bother wastin' your time and money with this company!
This company, FP Property Restoration, is a complete disaster!
This company, FP Property Restoration, is a complete disaster! We got stuck with this guy named Doug L. as our project manager, and boy, was he a mess. He took our hard-earned $1,000 deductible right off the bat. Then, he brought in some random subcontractors to do part of the job, but they didn't even finish it! Can you believe that?
Supposedly, Doug said he ordered some fancy cabinets for us, but they were gonna take a whopping 3 weeks to arrive. And just in case those cabinets got damaged during installation, he had us pick out some granite as a backup plan. Well, guess what? We've been trying to get a hold of Doug to make sure everything's still on track, but he's vanished into thin air! The work is far from complete, yet he already cashed our deductible payment. Can you say "rip-off"?
It's been nearly 2 weeks now, and we've left countless messages for Doug. But does he bother to call us back? Nope! And to make matters worse, we've tried emailing him, but it's like our messages are disappearing into the abyss. His email seems to be broken or something. What a joke!
Honestly, I wouldn't trust FP Property Restoration as far as I could throw them. They're unprofessional, unreliable, and downright fraudulent. Save yourself the headache and find a company that actually cares about their customers. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

I had a really bad experience with FP Property Restoration
I had a really bad experience with FP Property Restoration. They went into my unit without asking and completely messed up my shower and bathroom, even though we agreed they wouldn't touch that part of the house. It's in terrible condition now, with broken tiles, a broken toilet, and a broken shower. The worst part is that they haven't even acknowledged the damage or made any effort to fix it, and it's been 5 days since it happened.
Extremly poor workmanship numerus times
Extremly poor workmanship numerus times. They were hired to simply retile a shower after we hired a separate company to demo and replace our shower pan. They failed to perform the work appropriately causing water damage to the ceiling on my first level and my shower pan. They never repairing the water damage and on the second attempt to replace the shower pan. They ruined. They never followed through with the county inspection for the permit pulled! So that still remains open with multiple defects to the shower the ceiling is peeling off cracks in the ***. They came out agreed on what needed to be done and now no one will fix it no one will return my multiple attempts at contacting them. They had unlicensed and uninsured felons in my home.
My complaint is multifold
My complaint is multifold. My family has suffered a fire that significantly damaged our home. As a result, we were displaced for months, waiting on repairs to be done on our home by the contractor that our insurance company, American Integrity Insurance, insisted on selecting. Although the mitigation team were proficient in clearing out the sludge and charred items from the water/fire damaged portion of our home, we subsequently discovered that the restoration team was far less professional or ethical. Long story short -- their foremen were dishonest and one of them stole the insurance funds which prolonged the completion of our home restoration to date. I waited so long that I ran out of money to fund our alternative living accommodations-- and this was used to pressure us to settle for shoddy substandard work and most of it remained incomplete or unusable due to the incompetence of the workers assigned to my job. In fact, several acts were pure MALICE.

I contacted FP Property Restoration a few months ago about some water damage at our entry points
I contacted FP Property Restoration a few months ago about some water damage at our entry points. I wanted them to check for leaks before replacing the floor. Their website said they offer a "free, on-site inspection." Andrew S. told me to file an insurance claim and they left dehumidifiers, which I never turned on because they were too loud. This dragged out the process for months since it wasn't tied to a specific event. I called and asked for the dehumidifiers to be removed, but they said I had to wait for the insurance. The claim was denied, and I asked them again to pick up the unused dehumidifiers and give me a quote for the repairs. They've been bothering me for months, calling to collect over $12,000. I keep telling them that no work was done. This morning, they called to lower the invoice to $1,300 as a "gracious" gesture. But remember, no work has been done. Today, Paula called and said she was sending my invoice to collections (an invoice I've never seen). She mentioned that I signed a contract stating I would be responsible if insurance didn't pay. I vaguely remember signing something when they came to give me an estimate, but they never gave me a copy.
We had a devastating house fire on Dec 2, 2022
We had a devastating house fire on Dec 2, 2022. We hired FP restor, ation company to restore our home. They assured us they could finish the project in about 7 months. First they had a demo company y come in and reassured us nothing would be thrown away without our knowledge or consent. After a few days I didn't hear from them so went to check the house myself. Everything was gone or bagged up. Not once was I asked about anything thrown away. Months passed with nothing being down. Two of our property managers quit and no one would contact us. Finally, 8 months later they started with some work. They hired 2 subcontractors both who *** said they paid to do the work but never showed up. We asked why he didn't press charges but he never really answered that. Now 9 months later they once again started a little work. They disappeared again! They left a gaping hole in a roof which we have asked repeatedly for them to cover. Its still not covered! We have left at least 6 or more messages for *** to call us to no prevail! We have no idea why. Once again work has dead stopped nor when they think they will restart. We used the ComplaintsBoard.com A rating on FP as a referral to use this company. At this point I wouldn't NOT recommend FP Property Restoration to anyone. They surely should not have an A rating. We are very disappointed. We want this job done! It's our home!
9/3/22 fire
9/3/22 fire. On 9/4/22, FP restoration reached out to us. They said they work with Allstate and are legit. On 9/7/22, we met with *** and *** for estimates. *** started the clean-up and content removal, and he did a good job. *** took photos and was supposed to coordinate contractors, get permits, and start rebuilding.
On 9/17/22, Allstate completed their estimate. We tried calling ***, but got no response or calls back. We waited a few more days and found out that *** no longer works for the company. They put us in touch with *** the General Manager. He said he will work on getting permits, etc.
On 9/28/22, Hurricane *** hit the coast of ***. In the first week of October, *** told us his guys were still in *** working. He said they would be back in a week. In the second week of October, *** basically said they were still in ***, but by next week, they would be back to finish cleaning up the hardwood floors, walls, piano, etc.
In the third week of October, nothing was being done. *** still hadn't come to the house. The floor is now warped due to humidity, and the piano hasn't been removed. *** stopped answering our calls. We don't have permits for the work, and the house is worse now because of weeks of sitting with soot and humidity. We will need to test for mold. I don't understand how a company can be so professionally unethical. We are back to square one after losing about 7 weeks. They still have our contents, and we haven't heard anything about them.
Water damage repairs weren't fully done
Water damage repairs weren't fully done. An extra $1500 was spent to fix the contractor's mistakes. In October , our kitchen suffered damage from a water leak, affecting a wall and some cabinets. FP Property Restorations (FPPR) inspected the damage on 10/23 and started repairs on 01/07. The initial repair estimate was $3699.54. However, after removing the cabinets, it was discovered that mold remediation was necessary, adding an extra charge of $1587.40. The cabinets were removed in one day, leaving an exposed stud wall open for over five weeks. Brian, the project manager, mentioned that a subcontractor would arrive soon and it would take 2-3 days to complete the work. However, no work was done for weeks. When FPPR called for payment, I explained the situation, and they promised someone would come the next day. Two men arrived a day late and rushed to finish the job in one afternoon, doing an unprofessional job. Vincent from FPPR inspected the project and agreed that the work was unacceptable, promising to redo the repairs. However, after two weeks of no contact, we made other arrangements to finish the kitchen at an additional cost of $1500. The following week, FPPR finally called to schedule repairs, but I informed them that the project was already completed by a third party. Vito, my contact at FPPR, said he would "adjust the bill accordingly" ($1500 + time spent). We had already paid $500 towards the $3699.54 invoice and received a credit of $1750 from Vito, leaving a remaining balance of $1449.54. The other invoice of $1540.87 was already paid in full. Upon reviewing the estimates, it was discovered that at least 20 items were billed twice on both the original estimate and the mold mitigation estimate. When I asked for clarification via email, Paola from accounts receivable agreed and provided an amended estimate of $1981.70. We received a new statement with the credit for the original $500 payment, but the $1750 credit was removed, resulting in a balance of $1481.70, which is higher than the previous balance before the adjustment for double-billed items and unfinished work. FPPR charged us twice for equipment used once, for work done only once, and also charged us for work that was never completed. When we brought this to their attention, they removed some of the charges but also took away the $1750 credit issued to cover our expenses for cleaning up the mess and completing the project.
