I contacted a Salesman with Fred Hass Toyota World in Spring on 01/22/22 about the purchase of a 2022 Toyota Tacoma. We negotiated the price, payment and the trade of my vehicle. I sent him the VIN number and numerous pictures of my vehicle trade-in. The Salesman told me that it was a "done deal" as I wanted to make sure that when I came to the dealership on 01/23/22 that I went straight to financing. He sent me pictures of the truck and told be "Congratulations" it was a deal! He asked me what time I would be in on 01/23/22. I told him 11:00 and that I would text him that morning with a definate ETA. We arrived precisely at 8:00 a.m. and he sat us down with the Sales Manager. This raised an alarm in my mind that I may have been scammed. Unfortunately, I was correct and the Dealerships scheme was to get me in to the dealership and have me preorder a vehicle. I was livid and they had not even run my credit nor been advised by Finance what my payment would be and it was supposed to be a completed deal. Then I was told they did not even have a Tacoma on the lot! So where did the Salesman get the pictures from? The Sales Manager quoted me a higher monthly payment than promised and a longer finance term! This business is a total SCAM and should be shut down for unethical practices. I drove 3 hours to get there with the presumption that I had bought a vehicle. Please don't trust anyone at this dealership. Later that afternoon I called and asked to speak to a Salesman and I got the same person, who told me I had a finalized deal. I asked if they had any Tacoma's and he said "Yes" what are you looking for? This should not be legal!

I recently purchased a pre-owned Rav-4 with them and the whole experience -from beginning to end- was fantastic. Back after Hurricane Harvey in 2017, my girlfriend and I were looking for a potential car for her, but nowhere near ready to buy something at the time. She and I went to Fred Haas Toyota World in Spring, TX to look at a 2018 CH-R. Drove the car, thought it was alright and then saw the payments were almost $450 a month for a 36 month lease. We were told that Toyota Motor Credit would pick up the loan, which I knew was a lie already. All this based off a verbal agreement that my credit was in the 700 range. Already having a $500 a month car note PLUS over 4 figures in credit card debt AND and $900 rent payment, this should be a non-approval right off the bat (especially for a kid making only $3000 a month maximum & as someone working in the auto sales industry at this very moment). This also includes the fact that the manager said he needed at least $1500 to make it happen. We decided to sign a Borrowed Vehicle Agreement to take the car home overnight, not even imagining that the next day would be our worst nightmare. We came back to the store to turn in the CH-R and were confronted with a stack of paperwork with MY signature on it...even though I hadnt ever set foot in the finance office or ANYTHING. Somehow, the dealership had transferred my signature to a contract and everything. What about the $1500 I needed to make the lease happen? Oh the manager took care of that, they said. NONE OF THIS HAPPENED WITH MY CONSENT! Above all, the manager and the sales person FORCED us take the car home (only saying they could offer us trade value but could not take the car back) and a few months later, Toyota came and repo'd the car in the middle of the night, with all our paperwork and everything still inside. Now I am stuck in a lawsuit between myself and Toyota Motor Credit. The car has been gone for years and I am still reeling from the after effects. TMCC says I owe over $18000 to them, when I don't owe them anything. On top of this when I went back to the dealership to obtain copies of the documents that I supposedly signed to help defend my case, the finance manager told me they didnt have them, which is ANOTHER lie because I know that under Texas Law, a dealership is mandated to hold on to those documents for 5 years minimum...and suddenly now that there's a lawsuit, they don't have them? HMMMMMMMM makes me question what other sneaky tactics they do! What do I want Fred Haas to do? I WANT THEM TO STOP THIS BULLS*** AND TAKE THIS REPO OFF MY RECORD! NONE OF THIS WAS MY DOING AND NOW MY PERFECT CREDIT RECORD HAS BEEN TARNISHED AND I CAN NO LONGER BE APPROVED FOR ANYTHING!

Mark R was my salesman when I came in on February 16, 2022 to buy a new SUV. I came in with the expectation of probably not getting what I was looking for but left in a new RAV 4 Hybrid that was beyond satisfying for me. Because of the shortage and a tough previous year I had to shop around for a long time to find what I was looking specifically for. He found it. And for $9,000 cheaper than I expected. He was down-to-earth and honest. He did his job. He was how people used to be back in the 90s. Even my mom loved him lol.

We gave a $500 deposit towards a Toyota RAV4 Prime in August . My contact at the dealership, Jimmy ***, told me that I can special order the car with $500 down, and it should come in around November . The car never came in, and now he is unable to give any kind of timeline for when it will come in. I need to move forward with a different vehicle and he refuses to refund the deposit. The deposit was mentioned as being refundable if they weren't able to procure the car when we paid it. It was not mentioned to me as being non-refundable. The contract I signed did not mention it being non refundable. And it says "good through 11/22." I presumed that to be the date the car would come in by. It still hasn't come in as of 1/12 with no timeline.

We purchased a used 2017 vehicle on July 7th of this year 2020, three months later the engine locked up. We took it to a dealership because it was still under factory warranty they denied our claim due to the vehicle having uncovered damage to the engine. The certified mechanic said engine sludge is cause by years of neglect and that most likely Fred Haas just put clean oil in the vehicle to cover it up long enough to drive a while. When we brought this up to Fred Haas they only asked us how many oils changes did we do in the 3 months we owned the vehicle. The mechanic said the damage was not cause by us not having done 1 oil change in the 3 month we owned the vehicle. Fred Haas (Durrani ***) originally said they would make it right then 4 days later they said to bad here what it will cost you to fix it.

On July 11, I called Fred Haas Toyota World and asked about a gray Highlander on their online website. I was then transferred me to Brandon, salesman. I told him that I was interested in a gray, burgundy, or black Highlander with black interior. He asked me for a $500 deposit and would get ne the car that I wanted. On Monday, July 19, Brandon advised me that he had a match and would be in by the end of the week. I texted Brandon on Tuesday to confirm the car was a match and let him know we would be there on Friday to buy the car. He then advised that there was no match but had a white car if we wanted to purchase that one instead. On Friday, July 23, I contacted Brandon and requested the $500 deposit since I purchased a car. He informed me that my $500 was not refundable. Brandon never told me the $500 was non-refundable nor did I sign anything saying it was non-refundable. I would never have given the deposit if I knew it was non-refundable.

I purchased a brand new vehicle from Fred Haas. The vehicle smelled of gas fumes. I took the car to be checked for the smell, it took 6 hours for them to tell me, my car was ok even though they smelled the gas as well. I asked was the car safe to drive, I was assured, it was safte.A week passed, the gas smell was so strong my family started to experiences headaches and watery eyes. I took the car back for the second time, they magically find the solution, they claim a rodent bit a wire under my car. And surprise, that's is not covered under your warranty , the car is not safe to drive and it will cost you almost $1,500 to get it fixed. I was told that I have a rat problem at my home in front of other customers. Which is absolutely false. The director over thecservice department was not helpful. He was very nonchalant. I was left to search for my car after they finished examining my car. I walked 10 minutes in their parking lot searching for my car. I observed other customer's cars being pulled upfront to them. I felt like I was treated differently from the customers that I observed.

As a previous 13-year-old Toyota Camry owner I decided to purchase a new 2020 Toyota Camry hybrid XLE on 6/5 from Fred Haas in spring. I have been happily driving the vehicle *** until 8/21. All of a sudden my vehicle started to show multiple errors on the Multi-Information Display. I stopped the vehicle and had my nephew press call Toyota Customer Care button from the car. We were advised to take the car to the dealership for an urgent checkup. Upon arriving at the dealership the service advisor Mr. D examined the outside conditions of the vehicle and proceeded to take it in for checkups. The service advisor Mr. D after two hours came to tell my nephew that there is a minute dent on the driver rear side probably caused by a shopping cart when my car was parked somewhere. He proceeded to say that it was unfortunately not covered by the extended warranty or the manufactures warranty as it was caused by an external force. He advised bringing the car in on a less busy day so they could take a detailed look at the car. On 8/25 we turned in the vehicle and agreed to pay $500 as it could have been hit by a shopping cart that caused the sensors to move and required recalibration to be fixed. Upon further inspection, the service advisor asked my nephew to come and take a look at the damage. My nephew was in shock as there was serious damage to the structure of the car and could not believe what he was seeing. At this point, the service advisor Mr. D asked if the car was in an accident. He also wanted to know how we covered the damage on the bumper because the damage inside does not correspond to the damage outside accusing us of taking it to the workshop to get it done. He also proceeded to say that the bumper is not original. My nephew's face was in such shock that it prompted the technician next to Mr. D to correct and say no it is the original. At this point, I informed all family members and a family friend to help me understand the case. When my family arrived at the dealership they spoke to customer relations manager Mr. Joseph S who said there is nothing that could be done and accused my nephew of wrecking the car. We requested to speak with the GM Mr. Nate M because we did not have an accident or cover-up. Mr. Nate M asked my family friend Mr. Gian a disabled US Army Veteran who came to help understand the situation as he is familiar with cars, Mr. Nate had severe anger and for no reason told the two men to "Get your *** out of here. *** OFF or I will throw you out. I sincerely believe they sold me a damaged car that was in an accident as a new car and failed to disclose that to us at the time of purchase. This was confirmed by the service advisor's statement that this is not even the original bumper. I put a down payment of $7000 and rest on Toyota finance for a total of $45,889. I have been deceived by Fred Haas Toyota. I sincerely hope to get some answers as to why I was sold a damaged car as a brand new 2020 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE. The car has state of the art GPS system which tracks and stores every trip data since the day of purchase. I also have a Toyota APP that monitors my daily driving skills and assign scores for each trip. That data should prove that the car was never in an accident under my ownership.

I had such a great experience at Fred Haas. My first time buying a new vehicle couldn't have been easier. Mark H. was super knowledgeable, listened to exactly what I wanted, and helped me find the perfect fit. From start to finish, he was always available to answer any questions I never was there pressure to get upgrades or features that didn't suite me. Not only is he a stellar sales guy, he's a genuinely nice human being. Also, special shout out to Danny for filling in at the last minute and staying late to deliver my vehicle when it arrived and Peter for keeping the financials quick and easy. Would recommend this crew any day.
Mark R was my salesman when I came in on February 16, 2022 to buy a new SUV. I came in with the expectation of probably not getting what I was looking for but left in a new RAV 4 Hybrid that was beyond satisfying for me. Because of the shortage and a tough previous year I had to shop around for a long time to find what I was looking specifically for. He found it. And for $9,000 cheaper than I expected. He was down-to-earth and honest. He did his job. He was how people used to be back in the 90s. Even my mom loved him lol.
