Sports & Imports Autos of Gwinnett On April 28, a car I began to finance from sports and imports auto sales I bought on April 19 was totaled

On April 28, a car I began to finance from sports and imports auto sales I bought on April 19 was totaled. The facility had a gap insurance policy on the car that allowed me to be able to pay a $685.00 deductible in order to close the account out on the totaled car. This way, I would not have to worry about continuing to finance the car after it being totaled. I finalized the payment of the $685.00 on May 5. I was told that the account would be closed and they will not charge me anymore. I was never signed up for auto payment I always paid the car note by calling the facility and speaking to an agent. On May 11 Sports and imports auto sales took $278.00 off of my debit card without my authorization. I reported this to them the same day when they opened and was told my money would be refunded within the next 5 hours of me calling. I was then told to call back the following day when my refund was not completed. It still has not been fulfilled in 2 days.

I am sick of this company. Its ALWAYS something and I JUST got the car in December. Every month its something sketchy with my payment or you all are pulling payments randomly. *** , just called to receive my payment schedule because my account manager was not there, RUDE, gave me wrong information about my payment and instead of trying to get me the right answer she just kept interrupting me and making sure she told me about the start feature on the vehicle. Can you imagine calling a company to get information and then threatening you with the service without fully understanding the reason for your inquiry. When I kept asking for a manager because she kept interrupting me but did not answer my question ONCE, she said there is nobody over me ,Crazy. She hung *** in my face to top it all off. This company is a SCAM . My car is trash , they take money out whenever they feel like it. She didnt even know *** date HOW ARE YOU IN MY ACCOUNT BUT GIVING ME THE WRONG INFORMATION . Do Not buy here , plentyyyyyy of other BETTER options .

this dealership they unauthorized my card without my acknowledgment. I bought the 2013 Chrysler 200 March ,21,22 we agreed to pay $2500 down payment Ill be paying for the car by weekly $250 +50 they said its for the insurance on they part. Ok upon March 21,22 I only paid *** Ill pay the extra $500 March 22,22 I paid! Upon March 25, 22 $300 was taken off my card . I said why did u guys charge my card w/o my acknowledgment? . So let me go back to March 16 ,22 is when I first visit the car place ! I signed paper work but due to bank issue I never purchase the car it happened at the last min of all the paper work being done . So they what had me wait in came back Monday . But March 16 we agreed $3000 in $150 biweekly..I never took that deal .. but the never started new paper work when I returned that Monday March 21,22 . So from March 16,2022 through March 25,22 would of been the agreement for weekly . When I visited the place on march 16 ,22 So that Monday march 21 they only changed the down payment but never changed the start taking payments day . They took $300 in 4 days after purchase in refuse to refund or have any other discussion about what could been done next . Took 3 payment in one month .

DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICE !: I came there last month about a car. I told the sales guy my down payment amount and my monthly budget. The sale person assured me they had a car for me. I came, I test drove and said ok. He then takes me to the back FIRST to make a *** down payment, then brings me to the front and have sign paper work that wasn't filled in. At this point I'm asking ok, so what the final price and exact monthly payment, he kept brushing me off saying hold on hold on. Then he comes back with the paper filled out. I look over the table, because he still hasn't answered me and I see $179 filled in. So I ask, is that bi weekly, he then goes on to tell me no, that's weekly...totally over 700 a month. Twice what we agreed on. And it came out to about *** for a 2009 suv. So I address the problem with the sales person and he told me " well you own the car now , there's nothing that can be done ". At this point I left. I told them I'd come back the next day and left because I enjoy my freedom. I called my bank. My bank asked for documentation, but I left without paper work or a car. When I called about the documentation, refund or atleast an email stating that I paid for the car but didn't go through with purchase , I was ( very rudely) that they will not refund my money because I abandoned it and they canceled the loan and application and was told they i couldn't get an email about it because she could only send automated emails generated by their system. So I'm out of ***, I'm unable to continue my car purchas else where and they are refusing to do anything to solve this issue.

My *** went to *** in May. His name is *** is the loan holder. We chose a Prius that we kept *** up to date on & then on 10/3, the Prius quit running. They came to pick it up & proceeded to tell us 9 days later that it was unrepairable & that we would be forced to get another vehicle, or pay off the unrepairable Prius. We now needed a van instead of a car because our van was also totaled on 10/3 due to no fault of our own. We went back to *** & had to start from scratch on another vehicle after paying over $6,000 of the Prius off, that accounted for nothing. We paid another down payment & drove the one & only van they had off the lot that we knew from test driving had transmission issues. *** knew this & they put a we owe on the vehicle. 6 months later in April the transmission finally goes entirely while driving. *** came to get the van & then proceeded to tell us as the days passed that we would either need another vehicle to start from scratch again with, or to pay for the transmission ourselves even with the we owe. 11 days goes by with our vehicle being at an undisclosed third party mechanic. *** finally let us know after days of us calling & no answers that they would fix the issue & ever since then we have only been told that the van is being worked on. We have no idea where it is. *** will answer none of our questions. Every time we call they only tell us it is being worked on. They have no sympathy. We have already paid them $10,000 for two vehicles & currently have none of them in our possession. Tuesday 05/17/22 marks an entire 4 weeks that we havent had our vehicle. Our one and only vehicle. Not a single person that works there wants to assist their clients, and the biggest joke is the promise of a $200 referral payment on their hold line. I wouldnt refer them to a pile of.. well you get the picture.

Sports & Imports Autos of Gwinnett This transaction started on July 5th

This transaction started on July 5th. My husband and I purchased a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. We had the vehicle in our possession for about two weeks before the first problem occurred where the vehicle stalled to crank. Since then the vehicle has been in the shop 3 separate times and all 3 times over a week at a time. The said vehicle had been in their possession for about a month but we continued payments. I had previously asked for a refund and was told I couldn't have one. Was told it was not possible. However because they are tired of dealing with me they offered me a refund solely on our $1500 down payment and not the payments they took while the van was not in use. I have been hung up on, told I was not a priority, and lied to. I offered to split what they call a usage charge of $894 to $447 plus our down payment $1500 bring a refund total of $1947.00 and they refuse. Desired Resolution: $1947.00 Refunded and to discontinue any business/ communication with this company.

Sports & Imports Autos of Gwinnett In January I purchased a 2007 Honda CRV from sports and auto in buford ga

In January I purchased a 2007 Honda CRV from sports and auto in buford ga. I noticed the following day after purchase that the vehicle was acting up and I called the company and advised them that the radio and ac were not working, I spoke with Brian Gunter and he told me to bring the car in for them to do an inspection and they replaced my radio with a defective one and fixed my ac. When they fixed my ac I told him and the finance company that the vehicle drives weird. Its very jumpy and shifts one way when turning. Brian checked the vehicle and assured me noting was wrong with it. I had the vehicle seen with other repair shops and they stated the the shocks and struts were bad on the vehicle and its unsafe to drive. I tried to resolve the issue with the company to get no where with them . They have a few customers that have experience same issue and they dont care. They sell bad vehicles to people and just try and take their money. They need to be investigated. I want arefund

I bought a car on 8/6 from Sports and Imports in Buford. There was a passed emissions test in the car from July... However four days after getting the car the check engine light came on and I realize there are huge holes in the roof with my car causing it to overflow with water when it rains. So I called the dealership and they told me to bring the car in because it would still be covered under my warranty so I will not have to pay for these repairs... So I bring my car and leave it for a week and then they call me telling me that it has been repaired and that it is ready to go. Not only did I come to pick up my car and nothing had been repaired, as soon as I left the check engine light came back on. So I decided to take it to a mechanic and have it properly diagnose. It turns out there is a bad oxygen sensor, failing catalytic converter, bad fuel pump, and the massive holes in the roof causing a leak were not fixed whatsoever. This will cost me thousands of dollars and I need out!

This company requires a card on file to process payments. I provided my card information and they debited my account twice and when I called to speak to my Account Rep she advised that I needed to go to my bank and have them explain my bank statement. My account is paid current and my Account Rep continues to threaten to have my car repossessed or have me arrested if I file an unauthorized charge on my account.

Sports & Imports Autos of Gwinnett I have had a vehicle with this company almost 4 years

I have had a vehicle with this company almost 4 years. It should have been paid off already but due to covid 19 I wasn't able to keep up with the payments. Here recently, I've been able to make payments (regular payments are $185) if I'm able to pay more then I usually will. I made a payment 2 weeks ago (June 12th) and was told I had to pay a late fee because my payments come out on Friday. That payment was $194.25. Today (Friday June 25th) I've tried to make my normal payment of $185 and I was told that it's a late fee and she can only accept $200 minimum. I stated, I have never been told that and it's not late-I'm paying on the due date. The rep replied with, Oh, it's $2,000 late so the minimum I'd be able to accept is $200. I replied with, I only have the $185 because that is the usual payment. The rep would not accept my payment and at that point I hung up because she was very attitudinal. I have not received anything in writing per this change nor has it been said in conversation.

The car was purchased on June 2. I put a $1200 down payment and went over bi-weekly payments of $278. After, I drove off the lot the car began to smoke. I had to turn around and leave it. I also advised that the radio was not working. I was told the car would be ready in a couple of days. Instead, I was without a car for 8 days. They didn't have a loaner and noone said, "they could rent me one either." This last incident put me over the top because, it was after midnight and my daughter and I were headed home. The car completely stopped and would not crank. I called a relative to give me a jump and that didn't help either. I had to get a way home and I reached out to the business early Monday morning. They told me they would have the car towed. So, second round again with no car. Two days later, I was advised that I needed a alternator. When people really want your business, they are going to do whatever it takes to keep my business.

I paid my car off months ago and have not received my title! The title manager is always out! Every one is always out. Very poor follow up and customer service. I cant even sell my vehicle because I dont have my title. If my car gets towed or taken from me i cant even prove that i own the vehicle. They keep sending me a lien release, which i am not asking for! I WANT MY TITLE. In Georgia, when you pay a car off you get a title. Either give me my title or GIVE ME ALL OF MY MONEY BACK!

On August 6th I'd spoken to an employee of sports and Auto imports. I explained to them that I had gotten a new bank card and that I wanted to update my banking information and also apply for a payment arrangement I was told that I was not able to do so as I'm not the main account holder for the vehicle in question, I was told to have the account holder call to make any payment arrangements and adjustments following that on August 19th and August 20th payments of $235 will removed out of my bank account without my knowledge or permission. I was told the second payment of 235 was not going to be returned to me and I explained to them that was theft because I did not approve of any additional payments and I was also told that " well let us keep the money" by the account manager by the name of Jenny. I explained to her that that was an erroneous charge and she gave me a short answer of she will not be returning my money. These actions cause my bank account to be -400+

Sports & Imports Autos of Gwinnett I b`ought a car from here on February 24th

I b`ought a car from here on February 24th. It broke down on me, July 23rd. Since then, it has been sent back to them to be fixed, however every time I get it back, it has not been fixed, After the first time I got it back home from them "fixing it" and it broke down on me on the way home from picking it up, I had a mechanic friend look at it. He stated it was the Throttle Control Sensor that needed to be replaced. When I had the company come back and pick it up for the second time, I told them exactly what was wrong with it. Again, they kept it for almost 3 weeks and sent it home, only for me to break down TWICE for the same thing. I immediately called them back to come and pick it up for the THIRD time. After a couple of weeks they called stating it was fixed. I questioned if it was actually fixed, but they stated it was. Well, I go and pick it up for the third time and it broke down AGAIN, for the same reason, the next day. Come to find out, it was never sent the 3rd time

Sports & Imports Autos of Gwinnett Lemon vehicle Refund I bought the vehicle (2008 Nissan Pathfinder) on October 19

Lemon vehicle Refund I bought the vehicle (2008 Nissan Pathfinder) on October 19. On 10/21 I contacted the dealership about the vehicle over heating and shutting off on me. They sent the vehicle to the shop and returned it to me on 10/26. I drove it until 11/2 when the vehicle began shuttering and overheating again. I contacted the dealership and told them I wanted to trade the vehicle or I wanted my money back. Due to the nature of my job i need a vehicle with a trailer hitch at a minimum. After looking on the lot they had nothing that would fit the needs I have that they would be willing to trade me into, so I requested my money back. The refund amount is for $800.00. My 500.00 down payment and the two payments of 150.00 that I have made. I believe that the fact of I only had the vehicle in my posession for less than 3 weeks and it not had to be worked on once but now a second time I should get my money back. After talking to the account manager - Paris; she stated that the finance department would not be willing to refund me the money I paid for this vehicle that continues to have issues.

We got a vehicle from imports auto sales on December 11th, we had the vehicle exactly 6 days we decided to have it checked out so we did we found out the vehicle has alot of issues going on with it.. the day after getting the vehicle we checked it to see how clean it was come to find out the car as very dirty inside the ash tray was filled with cigarette ducts we didn't have a *** or spare tire in the car. we told them about it it seems the accounting office people was upset that we didnt want a vehicle with alot of issues.we drove a hour and a half to get there on our way home with the vehicle it seemed like it was trying to stale out on interstate 75.we would like our money back because the dealer knew about the vehicle problems but still pushed it off on us. we are tired of being taken advantage of by dealerships that knows these cars are not in good conditions. The After paying 500 down we were gonna pay the other 500 the today, but they wanted us to give them the car back for 7 days be without a car to get back and forth to work pay 500 more and have no way to work. its Christmas time we don't have money to give away.

Sports & Imports Autos of Gwinnett Cars advertised are not on lot

Cars advertised are not on lot. Repairs not truly done. Tried reselling my car because of "mis communication". We purchased a car for my 16 year old in March. In August a belt broke and the car was running hot, and left my daughter stranded on the side of the road. I called the lot, and they stated they would pick up the car (that took 2 days) then repaired it after having it for a week. When we went to pick up the vehicle, they had taken all of my daughters belongings out, took her tag off and placed it back on the lot for sale. When I confronted my account manager, she stated that they "mis communicated and thought it was a repo" I have not been late on one single payment. They never offered any compensation. Then in Sept. they withdrew money from my bank account, that I never authorized for them to use, and did not refund the amount! I never had signed documents not gave them authorization to withdraw these funds. Whenever I call my account manager is not available. I had to request a repair report/invoice three times and it took them 2 weeks to get the report to me stating that they replaced the serpentine belt and water pump. When I had another trusted mechanic look at it, he informed us the water pump was not replaced. I want to return the car and get out of my agreement with the crooks. I hope they don't do this to other hard working individuals like myself! They also lied and stated that they report to credit lenders, which they are not. The purpose of getting a second car loan, was to re establish my credit...and that is not happening because my on time payments are not being reported.

Sports & Imports Autos of Gwinnett I am the co signer, my daughter missed a payment approx 15 days ago, they never called her till today and they told her that they would repo her

I am the co signer, my daughter missed a payment approx 15 days ago, they never called her till today and they told her that they would repo her car. I went to the store today 02/22 approx. 5:30 PM to speak with the manager about not getting called when a payment was missed and then the new account manager threatening to repo the car for non payment. As soon as they called my daughter she made the payment it was just a miss on her part not realizing that there were 3 Fridays in January. She asked for assistance with her payment due to covid she has been in and out of work since she is a hair dresser and a bartender and she was told that they do not give assistance at all and that she could return the car and take the credit hit. While I was in the store I asked for a copy of the contract that I signed so I could verify the information on it because we asked when signing it for the terms numerous times and they told me and my daughter 3 years and now they are stating that there computer shows 4 years. He refused to give me a copy and then told me I had to leave. He started walking me to the door and placed his hand on my back to show me they way. When we got outside he cursed at me and told me he was going to walk me to my car, told him no need he did so anyways then proceed to take pictures of me and my car and my tag. Told me he was calling the cops. I waited 10 minutes for them to arrive and they never did so I left. I called and asked for the number for someone above him but she refused to give me any information it was obvious that he told them not to give it out. I want a copy of my contract. I want them to follow collection laws for the state of Georgia. They should be following covid guidelines and assisting people who are struggling due to salon and restaurants closing or having limited seating. This was a hostile environment for me and no one should be treated this way. There is no reason why he cant give me a copy of a contract that I signed unless they are trying to hide something. This car has been nothing but issues since we purchased it and he stated we should have used the warranty to take care of the issues but when you do that they keep the car for weeks don't issue a loaner so you have no way to get to work and return it when they want to so there is no reason to use the warranty and they do all this just so you don't.
