Please note that this only the forth year that this fridge has been running in our home (We purchased the home four years ago and the fridge that was brand new came with the house.).
In the last two weeks, we have had to call a service technician to come to fix the water function and to replace the defrost thermostat. We had to pay over $500 in total for repairs. We do not feel that a four-year-old fridge should cause us all these costs. Please reply with an offer of reimbursement for some of this cost. We have our receipts for the repairs. Thank-you.

We purchased a brand new Frigidaire stove on November 17, 2017 from Best Buy. Before the stove was one year old the oven began to malfunction, we would get a F30 code, they told us to unplug it and plug it back. We did and it worked for a while then we got the F10 code, but of course the one year warranty ran out. We purchased an extended warranty, they repaired the oven it worked for some time but the repair did not last and our oven is completely dead-not working at all. Frigidaire should replace this stove because we only enjoyed it for under one year.

stainless steel refrigerator
I purchased a new stainless steel refrigerator in February 2019. The doors started rusting immediately. I've been on the phone with the electrolux company here in Puerto Rico since then. Today after 8 months of frustration they finally show up to replace the doors and they bring the wrong ones! My refrigerator is black with stainless steel doors, they sent the freezer door in stainless and the fridge door in white! Then they said it would be another 3-4 months to get the right one! I need someone above the local people here to contact me because I'm getting the run around and a lot of bs from the people here.

Hi there, it's not that I do nothave the number, , its that the number is not in the drop down when I was guaranteed a cookware set worth 459.00 when I bought this stove of Frigidaire. I provided the model # in my post. What I am looking for is the guarantee for the set of pots that work with the induction stove I just purchased from Rona and this was a selling feature as it was a rebate from Frigidaire to get this set of pots. Yesterday, I noticed a burnt smell from my dishwasher.
Dishwasher heating element overheated which caused it to warp. The element warped into the bottom of the dishwashing causing the bottom to melt. Also, the washer arm than came in contact with the warped element and also burned/melted.
A definite dangerous fire hazard as well! Dishwasher is only 3 1/2 yrs old. Age doesn't play a part of the problem, it obviously is a manufacture defect.
After researching I have found there have been MANY reports of this problem by other consumers! And nothing is being done about the defect. What does it take, someone to die before Frigidare acknowledges that there is a manufacturer defect in the element that overheats, warps and melts the bottom and washer arm.
I can't get a repair person out to my home until Oct 28th. Service charge to just come and take a look is $100.00. I was told not to use the washer until the tech looks.
I would like Frigidaire to investigate this problem with the heating element and possiblity of lack of support brackets. I will not trust this washer now. I know I have no warranty, but I would think the company would reimburse me for the costs due to this obvious defect! Or replace the dishwasher with a new (hopefully safe) one.

I bought this Fridge from Home Depot (Model # FFHT2131QP0, Serial # 4A44403759)and it was delivered on 29/09/2015. About 5 months ago I noticed that it wasn't cooling enough so I put it to the coldest setting and yesterday I check the temperature as it seem to be running steady. I phoned a repairman to come and check out the fridge, he showed up about 3 hours later and checked the fridge and freezer temperature and it was high. he pulled the fridge out and took the back off to get at the compressor, not sure what he did and then stood up and said the compressor is on it's last leg and could go any day. The cost to repair the fridge was just about what I paid for it. His advice was never buy Frigidaire fridge and 3 other make's as they are nothing but trouble. This is the biggest piece of crap and would NOT recommend Frigidaire fridge. This same fridge has problems with the door handles as well, they told one customer that they are for show, open the doors from the side. They are not interested in fixing any flaws, just keeping on putting out crap.This fridge lasted 4 years. DO NOT EVER BUY A FRIGIDAIRE FRIDGE AS YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU WASTED YOUR MONEY.

We purchased a refrigerator model FGHI1864QP in August 2015 with a sliding shelf/drawer located at the top of the refrigerator area just below the freezer section.
It is mounted to the top of the refrigerator with 2 brackets and a slide bar assembly with plastic clips that retain the shelf and allow it to slide out for access. These two clips are what keeps the shelf in position. When the refrigerator door is open the shelf can be slid out to the open position but if the door contacts the shelf it places a lot of stress on the slide and retainer bracket. This stress has broken the plastic retainer clips. The poor design of the drawer sliding bracket assembly with the plastic retainers is destined to fail if the door applies a side load to the bracket when the drawer is open.
I contacted our local parts supplier for Frigidaire and was told that I have to buy the complete shelf bracket assembly kit (both sides ) part # [protected] and this cost about $150 .00 Cdn. This is ridiculous when all I need is the two PVC clips as there is absolutely nothing wrong with the shelf/drawer. Without these the shelf/drawer cannot be re-installed or used. There is nothing wrong with the shelf itself or the sliding brackets.
I would appreciate it if you would provide for purchase just the two plastic retainer clips for the drawer slides.

First... the door has always had an internal messy film between the glass since day 1. Can't clean it or even access it. The past year the door doesn't close tight. It sags. Now... now... this is super IMPORTANT. THIS MICROWAVE STARTS ALL BY ITSELF WITH NO END TIME. If I wasn't home, it would've caught fire and burned down my whole house. I called Frigidaire today. They were so helpful in guiding me to a repair person in my area. Wow. Thanks. I couldn't have done that myself. Anyway, BUYER BEWARE. THIS COULD CAUSE DEATH AND THE LOSS OF EVERYTHING. My microwave has started by itself twice now. We now unplug it after each shoddy use. We would not recommend ANY of their products as my broiler no longer works in my expensive gas stove and sometimes our ice maker just decides to start shooting ice onto the floor, if it's so inclined to even make ice. So BIG FAT FAIL on the top of the line Frigidaire Gallery appliances. I asked Frigidaire to at least record this life threatening defect with our microwave. I have little faith this actually occurred.

Well it started when me and my wife purchased all three appliances. The dishwasher started to mess up when we first got it. We called Frigidaire to fix it and they sent someone out and this continued over and over again till the warranty went out on it with the same problem not being fixed. So we have a unused dishwasher that leaks. They did the same thing with our refrigerator. It was not cooling right and still to this day it doesn't cool right. Our air conditioner the Compressor stays on and will not shut off until you unplug it plus it freezes. All these Applications we're bought brand new. I will never waste my money buying Frigidaire and warn other to do the same.

We bought this microwave from Home Depot in June 2017 and had it Installed by Home Depot. Today, this being the second service call for this unit for the same issue (first time covered by Frigidaire), I was told by the Certified Frigidaire Technician (private contractor) that the unit needs 5 parts to repair it. The total of which would cost twice the original cost of the unit. The door alone (which was on the parts list) was $310.00. Both the contract technician and I were floored by this recommendation from the Frigidaire Technical Support Tech. He actually suggested that I should pay twice the original cost of the original unit to repair it. What's more, the contract Frigidaire tech. explained his company had serviced over half a dozen Frigidaire microwave unit with the exact same issue this week! He encouraged me to contact Frigidaire's customer service and explain this issue and see what they could do for me... The "customer service rep" was unapologetic and cold when I explained the issue. She also explained that there would not have been an issue if I had purchased the extended warranty. My last microwave lasted 14 years, was a competitor's product, and a lower appliance line. It never occurred to me that this more expensive unit would break at just over one year and fail again after factory service in just over two years. Then additionally, be treated as a mere annoyance by the manufacturer's customer service rep. This is not how consumers are supposed to be treated. This is clearly a manufacturer defect which needs to be recalled. However, apparently manufacturer accountability and brand loyalty is not something Frigidaire is concerned with...

We bought a new fridge from home depot 5 months ago, love it too. But, it stopped cooling the bottom and all of our food spoiled. It was out for 4 days before we realized we had a problem. The top freezer worked but the bottom didn't. We called your support dept. And they hooked us up with the local repairman. Another 2 days without a fridge. We ended up throwing all our food out to be safe and spent $150. To replace it. We are on ss and that extra expense really bites into our budget. Please help us. It is fixed now after the repairman put a new fan in the freezer department.

Don't buy a Frigidaire dishwasher. I bought one in Dec. 2018 and the control panel stopped working in July and they can't replace the part until Dec 2019. I have Been on the phone with them several times and they just repeat the same thing to me about the part is on back order like they are reading from a script.I don't think they care, if they did I think they would try to resolve it a different way since they can't get the part for 5 months. Help I'm a customer held hostage by a broken Frigidaire dishwasher! 😡

As a recent owner of the Frigidaire 30" Front Control Electric Range with Air Fry. Being a Professional Culinary Chef and doing much research we decided to purchase this range for our cottage, having MSP of 1799.00 and a 5-star rating on Lowes, it seemed like a great idea. We are disappointed in our purchase. I would NOT recommend this range and would give it less than 1 star if possible. It takes 12 minutes to reach 375 degrees and is extremely noisy on convection. Baked items do not cook evenly. When cleaning the range top it creaks and sounds like the glass top is breaking. We feel like it's only matter of time before it cracks. Also, the back was dented. Another reason for making this purchase was the air fryer setting. Looking at the video on the Lowes website the range is shown using the air fryer setting (this was a major selling point) with a special large tray for this purpose. But what Frigidaire doesn't tell you is that, you will not receive that pan, nor the usual boiler pan that other manufacturers provide. Upon reading the manual is when you find that you must purchase the pan separately. In fact you can't even purchase this pan anywhere else but from Frigidaire for $50.00. Frigidaire shows the special pan in their demonstration and their countless television ads, but alas, not even a discount coupon for future purchase of the pan. Wake up Frigidaire, this was a major selling point for your average range product. Just another major disappointment with the range and Frigidaire. One cannot fathom how they can charge 1799.00 and not even include the equipment for the major selling point on said range. Frigidaire proves that corporate greed is what drives them with a side of a mediocre product at $1799.00. Your greed for a pan than your company can get for far less than $50.00 will cost you loyal customers that will never purchase a Frigidaire product again.

Refrigerator freezer was purchased and delivered June 28. Freezer has large amount of frost buildup. Vendor was notified and they sent technician to adjust gasket. Not fixed. Called Frigidaire who dispatched technician from a third party to try to resolve issue. Replaced gasket on July 11 (after two service calls). Still frost buildup. Called Frigidaire again, they say need 3 separate service calls to deem appliance unrepairable. (this was service call #2 in their eyes even though it was 3 already). Frigidaire dispatched another third party technician and they replaced the fan. Made situation worse, now not only does the frost still build up, it is really loud. Frigidaire dispatched same third party technician as previous call and they now say they need to put a box behind freezer (we believe the freezer box has a leak somewhere and they want to try to seal it by putting box around the freezer). Completely unacceptable. A brand new refrigerator freezer that has a leak! They will still not replace the unit! We are demanding a new unit to replace the faulty unit we got.

Purchased March 7, 2019 put in service same day.
Discovered August 31, 2019 plastic frame for bottom shelf is broken. Drawer can't slide. Glass shelf angles downward to front and not supported. Plastic frame is not covered under warranty as is not considered to be a critical component as defined by your warranty. The product failed and does not function as intended by manufacturer.
The bottom shelf is non-functional and the bottom draw not useable. How can refrigerator be used as intended by manufacturer? It can't.
Less than 6 months use and a critical internal frame component has broken. Customer service refused to budge on warranty coverage. We are forced to purchase a replacement frame for $88.19 Cdn.
This treatment of a repeat customer on a product under 6 months old is bad business. As a business owner I never ever treat clients so poorly.
I want to bring to your attention that although your parts division just scored a sale of $78 ($88.19 with tax), your corporation just bought itself a substantial amount of bad advertisement. I am returning to the store (Rideau Home Hardware Building Center in Smiths Falls, ON to advise them of your "policy" and my experience and I promise I will share my experience with absolutely everyone else I discuss appliances with.
I would appreciate a reply and a detailed explanation of your corporations position on warranty coverage for this critical internal frame component. Bought this freezer 8 14 2018, a month before the warranty went out major components died died on 6/11/2019 tried to reach them for 4 days got them on 4th day they came out on 5th day said it would take 5 more days to get parts as they had to replace major componentsi said i want a new freezer i no longer trusted this one they said no, and i could get my 3 year warranty, (when it kicked in) to pay for all the spoiled food that leaked out and wound all over my floor ! as far as I'm concerned this freezer is a lemon! And when I wrote a review with Frigidaire they wrote me back and said that my review had been moderated in refused to put it up, told me to write a new one !

I have purchase a new fridge last year November 2018 @ Lowes . The refrigerator was working fine until May 2019 it wasn't diapensing water and ice. I called frigidaire company after about month and a half to see what is going on. They sent someone that did not even check nothing from the back of the frigde simply telling me and his boss @ Keystone that I have a plumbing issue. I called a plumber no issues. So now I called Frigidaire customer service back they sent another technician out on July 27, that rule out that one part from back of the fridge is not working when he remove it water is not coming out because I help him check it. He mention they will be ordering it that it takes up to 10 business days for the parts to come then they will come me with an appt time and date. It has been 3 weeks now, someone contacted me that they will be on touch to let me know when the new part will be coming. No one has done so. I keep calling and calling no success.
I feel like it is not fair to me that I purchase a refrigerator per say it is a good brand then it stop working less than 1 year of purchase. I need someone to help me resolve that situation from Frigidaire company and I will not stop until I get an answer. Keystone company that they use these people are so RUDE and I feel like they are trying to save the company money by NOT helping customers. So please I need an answer ASAP

How come Canada has a 10 year warranty on the compressor and the US has a 5 year warranty? I had the Evaporator fixed for 370.12; next day it stopped again and Sears repair wanted 800 to fix the compressor. This freezer is 6 years old and looks brand new. We have taken extremely good care of it so it's just poor quality. It also took Sears 3 weeks to schedule a repair appointment.

I ordered a Fridgedaire Freezer from Walmart online site. It was delivered and when I opened box was completely damaged dented all over. A replacement was sent andit was also was dented and I had to reject it. The problem is not Walmart's or its supplier Drop Air. This is a Fridgedaire issue. The packaging is horrible. There is little to protect the freezer from damage during shipment. I have had to have a freezer in my garage for 2 weeks that hasn't been returned and to deal with returns on the two freezers which I paid for expedited shipping for. This is completely your packaging. There is little to protect this during shipment. This is first freezer. 2nd one was dented also. If you want to keep sending them with the little bit of packaging around them they will keep getting dented.
