I bought a brand new top freezer, refrigerator in Aug of 2024, it died 6 months ago. I contacted the warranty department and they insisted I take a day off from work to have a technician inspect the unit. It took several weeks to get a technician to the house and it was determined there was a bad part. The part was ordered and arrived the next day and an install date was scheduled. On the date of install no one showed up or contacted me to inform me they would not show up (the service window is 8am-5pm which requires taking a full day off from work). When I contacted customer service the only solution they would offer is to make another appointment requiring me to take another day off from work.
Claimed loss: Approx $150 worth of food and 2 vacation days valued at approx $800
Desired outcome: A voucher for a replacement refrigerator.
