Frigidaire no response from service center

I have a Washing Machine of Electrolux (Semi Automatic-760). Its spin tub is not working for last 10 days. I am trying the Customer Service contact numbers, but not able to contact anybody. Even their corporate number is not accessible. Is there any body who can listen to my complaint.

Frigidaire bad service

May 11 2005, we purchased the best set of appliances Electrlux Home Products make, Frigidaires Pro Series, On Dec 15. Only 7 months later we had to repair the ice maker under warranty ( no problem) well it never got fixed till late Jan/06. On Feb 21/06, The repairman made another house call to repair the ice maker again, Well it never got fixed till Mar 29/06. In July/06 they finally replaced the ice maker with a new one, at this point the warranty had run out so Electrolux finally covered the cost of the problem that started 7 months earlier after a lot of phone calls.

In Aug/07 the mother board that operates the electrical end of the refrigerator died, and had to be replaced, ($400.00) later

Finally on Dec 8/07, our dearly beloved refrigerator died for good, I am pretty sure it is the compressor this time,

So we had to go out and buy a new refrigerator, you can bet it IS NOT A FRIGIDAIRE, In all this we are out $700.00 in repairs and service calls, And we have spent several summer months with no refrigerator, Frigidaire has done nothing to help us after the one year warranty ended, When we told them we had to buy a new refrigerator, they told us the refrigerator problems are over and we have no reason to contact them any further. Can you believe after all we went through they do NOT want us to contact them again. DO NOT BUY FROM ELECTROLUX HOME PRODUCTS, The company treats there customers like ###!

My Electrolux cook top Is non functioning due to a fried motherboard after 21/2 years of easy use. Warranty is useless after a year. My tough luck. Electrolux washes their hands of me and I am out of pocket at least 2300 dollars. I won't buy Electrolux again but was told at the time of purchase that it was the best! Not so..

Nor will I buy any more Electrolux or affiliated products. I am stuck with this cracked fridge caused by the bulbs. This is actually a known issue with the fridges so why were we not informed?! They have all our contact details when we registered the products so a simple letter or email would have sufficed. Were they just hoping it wouldn't happen? This fridge is barely 6 years old. On top of that, we just paid $450 to get a board replaced for an induction slide-in. Upon my complaint, the "solution" they gave me was a piddly rebate on a new fridge. Seriously? I would have to pay 2K plus to fix a problem which was caused by their poor design? And this was after I informed them I am not buying Electrolux again. I'm also so not impressed with this so called "customer service". It's appalling these companies sell all this.

This is one of THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever received in my life. We bought an Electrolux washer in our new house and it was malfunctioning. I called the customer service to complain about the situation and woman was very rude when I asked her name or her manager's name of which she refused to provide. Initially I provided her my name, address and phone numbers for my wife and myself. I wanted to escalate my complaint because I was not getting any satisfaction from her. I maintained my composure and was very polite but she kept saying that she would hang up on me if I insisted to speak to the manager. Eventually she hang up the phone on me without resolving the issue.
This happened yesterday, September 27, 2016 at the Canadian location. These people should not be interacting with the public, their customer service skills are non-existent ... it stinks. Customers employ them, without our service they would not have a job, so we should be treated with respect. As a result of this experience, I will NEVER PUSCHASE NO MORE PRODUCTS from ELECTROLUX ... never again. There are far superior brands out there in the market place. I have instructed the builder to remove the washing machine from my new house. I don't want to have any interactions with these rude and obnoxious people ever again. I will spend my money at other places that are more pleasant and courteous. Ratings 0 out of 5

Never again will I buy an electrolux or frigidair product. I paid over 3, 200 for an electrolux oven just 5 years ago and I am replacing it already. From day one if even a tiny drip landed on the bottom it would smoke filling the whole house. Great when entertaining and your guests literally have to leave the house. The oven was only lightly used as there is only two of us and we mostly use a smaller toaster oven unless entertaining or hosting family dinners. You can see by the photo that the oven looks like new. I had to replace the bottom panel for 175.00 just to get rid of it. Not happy with this oven and glad to be rid of it.

Bought an electrolux oven paid 3, 500 for the unit and it has been a major disappointment. The smallest of drips on the bottom of the oven fill the house will smoke that continues until you turn the oven off and wipe the bottom. Not ideal when you are cooking. So many times this happened while entertaining which was an embarrassment worked well to disway others from making the same mistake in purchasing this oven. The oven has had very light use over the years as there is only two of us and we use a smaller toaster oven for the majprity of our cooking needs. The oven was used for family dinners and entertaining however that had to stop because the oven smoked so terrible we had to open all the wimdows and doors to air the house out. Fine in mild months but not in colder months. Recently I bought a new stove I no longer wanted to put up with this unit. I noticed when trying to sell this unit that the inside bottom panel looked like the finish was actually coming off and looked like it was rusting. Unbelievable in 5 years with mild use. I ended up replacing the bottom for 175.00 just so I could get rid of thos piece of junk. NEVER again will I buy frigidair or electrolux again. You can see from the photos this unit is like new it was not obused by any means.

Yea exactly right. I have techs that know me by my first name they have been here so often. Lines freezing. Water dripping onto my hardwood floors and Sears cant or wont get a part here immediately. Five days I have to wait for the door gasket. Five days of water dripping and me cleaning it up every hour or so. Never again will you see another Electrolux product in my house.
PS... this consumer is right, fruits and vegetables freeze in their compartments and the techs say "yep thats the way this one is built".

Extremely dissapointed! Had I seen all these posting before...! Bought from Sears in late 2008 the whole high end line from Electrolux, so far the only issue is the refridgerator! The mother board has been replaced twice, endless problems with the ice maker, water dispensor and ice forming inside the fridge freezing fruits and vegetables! Great! Sears offers horrible service and the technician who showed up so many times at the house told us GOOD LUCK you have bought one of the worst models that will ENDLESSLY break down... really made me feel good...
Stuck with a $3500 refridgerator that does NOT work properly... wow

Bravo Electrolux you really bring quality and workmanship in your products... -))

My daughter has been dealing with a dangerous problem with a Kenmore/Eletrolux range for over a year. This issue has been ongoing so long, actual dates have been lost to me. The stove was purchased about 5 years ago from Sears, along with a refigerator and dishwasher. From the start the handle of the oven door would become loose, always when the oven was in use and hot, and it would release, thereby releasing all components of the door - handle, glass and metal backing. My daughter would have to grab all these things as the handle became useless, these things were hot. She would then have to realign a bolt that held all this together and retighten it. It released often and she even kept a tool by the stove to fix this. By some miracle no serious burns happened - she kept hot pads nearby. Shortly after this range was out of warrantee, it happen again, but this time the glass totally released and crashed to the floor, breaking. Sears did agree to replace the door at no cost since it was so close to warrantee and it had been an ongoing issue. Then, shortly after this new door - THE SAME ISSUE! Obviously this is a design flaw in the construction of the door. The bolt holding everything together is too short . My son-in-law thought he may be able to replace this bolt, but it is buried inthe layers of the door and impossible to get at. Sears response is to send out a service person and replace the door at their expense - not acceptable. The door is a hazard. It haseven happened to me when I have used the stove at her home and your instinct is to grab all collapsing parts that are extremely hot..
She has received no help from Sears - shuttled around from department to department. They will come out and charge her for another replacement of this badly designed door. She has been dealing with the Electrical Safety Agency for months, as it is a dangerous high heat issue. Again she has been delayed, delayed, delayed and the issue has changed many hands, although they have agreed it is worthy of investigating.
She presently has the whole door taped together with electric tape - she has removed the handle completely. She cannot self clean, obviously.. She will never again deal with Sears or Electrolux - buyer beware!

I purchased a Frigidaire/Electrolux stove new in 2008. A few days ago the glass door on the oven exploded sending little shards of glass all over my house - fortunately I was far enough away that I wasn't injured. When I contacted customer service to inquire what they would do to resolve my issue, I was told I would have to call another company to get an authorized service technician to come & inspect the stove - not sure why, as it's the door that's broken, not the rest of the stove - and that I would not only have to take an unpaid day from work but would also need to PAY for this service tech to come to my house. Are they kidding? When I said no, I was cold transferred to the rudest, most cendescending "customer service manager" I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to - Jimmy Singh (although I suspect this may be a pseudonym). I was so angry by the time I was done trying to get an answer out of him that I put in a complaint to the BBB. Completely unacceptable customer service and you can better believe I will NEVER purchase another Frigidaire/Electrolux product in my life, and I will be sure to let everyone I know about their awful service.

The frigidaire make is matt finish and I AM UNDER 5 FEET TALL and cannot reach the back of the top shelf and want to change and upgrade. But brault-martineau who sold us the frigidaire line will only take back the item at a $500.00 deduction. What do I do to try and purchase another frigidaire at a price similar to what we paid. judy

Frigidaire very poor service and rude

This service is very unprofessional and the service is very poor.
We do acknowledge that the older/senior seasoned repair represenatives are very good and understand that the customer comes first. It is the younger and non-senior repair men that are very unprofessional and rude. The company needs to examine the way they do business before they will be forced to close their doors.

Part of the issue is the delivery of damaged parts from Frigidaire the other issue is the inept service represantive. We have had this company to our home 6 times with out resolution and the last service rep was very nasty and rude.

The company over works these repair men with a very long day but that is no excuse for unprofessional and rude behavior.

We know have a letter that has every service problem with A & E as well as every problem encountered with the Frigidaire product and replacement parts. The Warranty Group is also at fault for contracting with such a poor service company.

We have called A & E, Frigidaire, and The Warrenty Group to document our experience and logged a formal complaint with no response from any one. We have had it and we will now send a formal letter by mail to the Corporate Offices of each one of these companies and to the Dept of Consumer Affairs.

Our Frigidaire Oven is still not repaired and it has been a good month since we placed all our complaints and we still have not received a new replacement part nor a call back from any of the three companies involved.

We have no option but to take further action.

I am going through a similar thing and I would NEVER buy a Fridgaire product again. If it is the clock assembly also known as the "Mother Board" to the tune of $350.00, I am told that they are known to burn out frequently.
All the Authorized service companies will not return your call if they know it is for Fridgidaire because I have been told they are the most difficult company to deal with.
I think moving their call center back to the USA may help.
Good Luck

Frigidaire heat pump failures

In August 2006 I purchased a Frigidaire single package heat pump (puron) to replace my old, inefficient unit (Freon). During the first year of operation (2006-07) the new H.P. had continuous problems with both heating and cooling causing interruptions of service and requiring the replacement of various parts including a compressor. In August 2007 the unit failed during the hottest part of the summer (106 to 113 degrees). The AC company who sold me the unit recommended replacement with a new Frgidaire H.P. under the manufacturer's warranty, I agreed. There was no unit available in Nevada, the replacement H.P. would have to come from the Frigidaire (Nordyne) in Missouri, which would mean at least another week or more of living in extreme heat for me. When the new H.P. finally arrived in Las Vegas at Nordyne's distributer, my AC company discovered they would have to pay for the unit before the distributer would release it to them. The AC Company refused the delivery and told me they were washing their hands of any responsibility in the matter and left me very hot and upset. (I later found out that if my AC Co. had payed for the new unit, Nordyne would not refund their money until my old H.P. was returned to them for inspection and they (Nordyne) had determined that my old unit was indeed defective. This, so I'm told, could take 60 days or more. If Nordyne decided the unit was not defective my AC Co. might not be able to recover their money from Nordyne. I started calling Nordyne's Las Vegas distributer, I called Nordyne, I even contacted a local TV consumer advocate. This went on for several days, the distributer said that while he appreciated my problem, his hands were tied. Nordyne said they understood my problem but backed my A.C. Co.'s decision to back out of the deal, "they did exactly what they should have done" the Nordyne rep told me. I never heard from the local TV consumer advocate. Suddenly, after a couple of days, Nordyne's distributer said they would arrange to have the new H.P. installed by a different A.C. Co. but it would cost me Two hundred and fifty dollars and a new transition would have to be fabricated as the old one was not large enough. Finally, after two plus weeks of extreme heat and frustration, the new H.P. was installed and operating. The new unit, although slightly noisy, worked well until July, 2008 when the compressor failed again. The new A.C. Co. contacted Nordyne who, although certain a bad installation or, I don't know, maybe something I personally did to the unit was responsible, agreed to supply a new H.P. to the A.C. Co. to install if I would come up with a thousand dollars first. (I'm not sure who the thousand dollars is for, Nordyne - the A.C. Co. or both). I should say here that the Nordyne's Las Vegas distributer and the second A.C. Co. may be the same entity and they became involved in this deal to help me out. I decided to hold off on the A.C. Co.s offer and see if my home warranty insurance will cover my defective H.P.. based on past performance of this Frigidaire unit, it could cost me at least a thousand dollars a year just to replace compressors under the manufacturer's warranty. That's the story to date, its 92 degrees in my house at 4:00 am with a high of 112 degrees predicted for today and still no air conditioning in sight.

We've had similar problems with Fridgidair heat pumps. We bought this house in 2006 and they came with it. They were new in 2003, but the house was rarely occupied. Since we've lived here, both heat pump compressors have failed several times. Both have been replaced 'under warranty' for over $750. Now the one that was replaced in April has stopped again. We had to pay $575 for the new compressor as Fridgidair will not pay for shipping or installation. It's 82 degrees in the bedrooms and my husband had open heart surgery 6 weeks ago. I don't know what to do anymore.

Okay, where to begin? I've read so many complaints about Frigidaire appliances that I'm shocked! Frigidaire poor customer service

We purchased a refrigerator on Wednesday May 21, 2008. It was delivered on Tuesday May 27, 2008. On Friday May 30 noticed it was leaking water on the floor. Called Bad Boy. Was told to call manufacturer. Called Electrolux on Friday May 30 called electrolux. Was given name of authorized repair acility in London. A tech was dispensed on Tuesday June 3. Was told it needed a part. Part was to be ordered. Told by repair facility on Friday June 6 part was back ordered. Call electrolux. Nothing they can do. Does not matter if water is leaking and food is being ruined. Electrolux is not repsonsible. Called Bad Boy to get fridge replaced. Bad Boy said they could replace fridge if we had not called electrolux, even though a week earlier they said they can do nothing and we must call elctrolux, the manufcaturer. Tech came out Monday June 16 to replace defective part. Today June 17, fridge is STILL leaking water on the floor. So if you want poor customer service and a crappy product. Buy an electrolux product from Lastmans Bad Boy. The next time you are watching a Bad Boy commercial an dthey aske the question "Who's better than Bad Boy". Answer the question EVERYBOOOODY is better!

Frigidaire bad product and service

We bought a washer/dryer from Lowes. It chewed up all of our clothing a few items at a time. Frigidaire (Electrolux) wouldn't help at all (their "repairs" continued to replace the clothing-chewing parts with new clothes-chewing parts). Lowes wouldn't help at all.

Finally, after a 10-month nightmare of running test loads, screaming and crying to Electrolux, involving Better Business Bureau, washing my family's laundry by hand and line drying it all in the back yard (I have 3 children under the age of 6) and thousands of dollars of damaged clothing, Lowe's consented to return my money for the monsters.

This is a design flaw. If you buy a Frigidaire washer/dryer, it WILL slowly but surely destroy whatever you put into it.

By the time you notice the problem and begin to identify the cause, it's too late to easily return/remedy the problem.

I had the same issue with my Dryer, but since it was under the 1st year of warranty I had to go through GE, who transferred me to Electric Insurance, who transferred me to Electrolux the manufacturer of the dryer. Electrolux and Helen Haney were completely disrespectful and claimed nothing was wrong since the GE technicians never stated the dryer was defective in their reports. Although all THREE techs verbally stated it to us. After three visits GE replaced the dryer and claimed they had voided my extended warranty with Lowes! Note, GE still says there was nothing wrong with the dryer, but the replacement had a ring that ran around the opening that prevented our clothes from being shredded. Yes, the orginial was missing the ring completely! That is a defect! So a $1, 000 of damaged clothes and Electrolux comes back finally and offers $125 with the signing of a letter stating they are not at fault. I'm going to court! This is the worst service I've ever had thanks to GE and Electrolux.

Frigidaire non working poor service

I have purchased a electrolux refrigerator in august 2005 model dff44, 445 ltrs, but from the first month the refrigerator has not working properly and the same time I made complaint to the service center, but they have not clear the problem due to non availibility of pcb etc. We again complaint them in july 2006 but still they are not solve the cooling problem and they give me in writing the non availibility of pcb & heater coil. Iam several time complaining to the company personals but every time they commited me to solve the problem but still the problem is not solved. Now I finally decided to go for consumer court in near future for this type of cheating by the reputed company.

Frigidaire poor product... worse service

I purchased an Electrolux Split AC in May 2007.
Within 60 days of purchase, the AC started giving problems with auto shutdown - though the engineers visited promptly the first time but not rectified for many months to come. The AC was opened up and the engineers were frustrated with the company for not providing the right replacement parts.
The problem was not rectified for over 6 weeks - on enquiring I found that the complaint was closed by the service agency - leave alone replacing the defective part, the service agency had even taken away the defective part. The AC was still not fixed up - it was still opened up with all parts lying around my house.
Post escalation to the head of service for delhi and all india (Both of whom need to learn basic etiquettes, I wonder how they landed up as customer service execs) the issue was finally resolved in Nov 2007. Once i started using the AC this season, the problems cropped up again. The head of service in Electrolux was obviously peeved to get a complaint from me again. The problem was supposedly rectified, but I am again facing issues with the AC shutting down and auto starting every five minutes.
Their helpline number [protected] is switched off.
My advise if "Never buy anyElectrolux Product". I want to give this AC as a gift back to the company CEO.

Frigidaire terrible customer service

Hi,

I purchased an Electrolux microwave 2 years back. The buttons have been giving some trouble for the last few days. I lodged a service request with the service center, they first promised to send a service engineer within 2 days. I did explain to them since we are all working people, they will have to stick to the day they have promised, so that we can ensure at least someone is at home to attend to the engineer. On the given day there was no sign of the engineer till late afternoon, so i finally called the customer service desk again and they coolly tell me that the person will not come that day. Thats the first time i threw a fit, how can they not keep their word, if they assure a customer, they have to stick by it.
Then the engineer comes and informs me that the control panel needs to be changed. I ask him to do the needful and ensure that the part is good and authorized by the company. he assures me the same. After 2 days the service engineer comes with the replacement part, only to my shock that the replacement part looked older than the used one in my microwave. It had scratches and the worst was there was no quality control stamp. When i called the Service Manager he tells me that since the parts are kept in the godown its quiet possible to have the scratches. They can give me only 3 months guarantee and if the part stops working again i can call them. Firstly the manager did not know how to speak to a customer as at one point he also told me that take what we have sent or just live with the faulty panel. Also when i asked why is a new piece not brought to the customers residence and then opened and fixed, he said he cannot do it, as all the pieces are kept in the godown and thats how it works. When i asked him for his supervisors number he insisted that he is the only one and he takes all the decisions. The person was extremely rude, discourteous and had no clue what customer service means. This kind of service from a company like electrolux is disgusting and bad.

I have a Electrolux Microwave. It is now out of warranty. It is used on very rare occations. It was purchased from Vijay Sales in Thane. While cleaing the body of the Microwave the instructions written on the dashboard/buttons got wiped off. After complaining the servce person told that if you are going to clean it slightly hard the instruction will go off even if you purchase a new pannel the same thing will happen. My query to Electrolux is why is such a material is used which gets wiped off while cleaning. Any item in the Kitchen is bound to get dirty and will require cleaning. I need explaination why should i pay 750/- Rs. for a faulty product from the companey

I purchased an Electrolux microwave with convection 4 years ago. It worked fine initially but the convection always mal functioned. I complained a few times - the necessary repairs were done but never lasted long. On the 10th of March 2010 the microwave packed up. I complained again and was told the element needed to be replaced. After repeated phone calls today I am told that my microwave is OBSOLOTE (obsolete I presume) very rudely and cannot be repaired. This could have been done initially so why was I made to wait for almost 20 days.
I have now decided to get rid of it and purchase of another brand.
SHAMEFUL SERVICE.

Frigidaire customer service sucks

we purchased a fridge and stove at LEON'S and had it delivered today .well the stove was fine but the fridge looked like it was sitting in a warehouse for about a month it was so filthy, no handles to go with it, scratched on the side and front and to top it off the door would not shut, so i told the drivers to take it back they called the warehouse first then they left without the USED fridge telling me that i would receive another 1 today sometime today but could not give me a time when . so i called LIZ ALMADA from the STONE CHURCH ROAD E. HAMILTON store and to my surprise "NOTTTTTTTTTTTT" she happened to be in a meeting and would return my call . When she did she told me to use the fridge until i got the NEW 1 and i told her i could not because the door would not shut .Anyways she also told me that it will be delivered but did not know when by 3 p.m. i called her back to ask her whennnnnnnnnn it was being delivered but she was busy of course. The drivers of the second truck came to bring the new fridge and i had told him that it will fit through the front door no problem he out right ignored me and measured the door and then went to the truck took the freezer and fridge door off why i do not know told me to move my car up for what i do not know why come in the living room asked my mother to move the rug for what who knows then they brought it in they put the doors back on the freezer door wouldnt shut tight then he tightened it and they were going to leave without putting on the handles . So i told them that if they didnt put the handles on they could bring both back to the store and i would go to the brick to get my appliances .he was very very very rude along with this cutomer service manager Liz . I feel that we should be compensated for the B.S. that i had to go through .The CEO of LEON'S should put in their employees heads that customers are right and thats where their lively hood comes from .

Frigidaire sold used product

February 26, 2008

Electrolux Major Appliances
P.O. Box 212378
Agusta, GA 30917

Attn: Keith McLoughlin, President

Dear Mr. McLoughlin,

I am writing this letter due to the extreme amount of stress that your company has put me and my family through. First, let me state that I have purchased other Frigidaire products and was usually satisfied.
I purchased a brand new refrigerator and stove approx. 3 years ago. On February 3rd our family noticed that our refrigerator was no longer working, I placed a phone call to Hallocks (the dealer that I purchased it from) and they promptly gave me the phone number to your company where I was given a phone number to the repair service co. named A & E, I spoke with a representative on February 4th and was given a repair date of February 6th.
On February 6th a repair serviceman came to my house and evaluated the refrigerator. He proceeded to ask when and why there was a previous repair to our model. When I explained that I purchased it brand new and had never had any repair service done, he showed us that there were no manufactor bolts and also showed where the back of appliance had previously soldered. He ordered the parts that would be needed to make the repairs and I immediately called Hallocks to voice my complaint, and was told that they do not sell refurbished Frigidaire products. Which was confirmed by 3 other repair service companies.
Meanwhile the parts came in on Thursday February 7th I did not receive another service appointment until Monday February 11th, the gentleman came and informed me that not all of the parts were ordered and that he would have to order more parts. This is when I started my first of many calls to your company. At this point I had no refrigerator for over a week, I was under the belief that you stand by your product and I was told that patience is a virtue by one of your employees. I was then transferred to Vanessa who offered me $25.00 as a good well gesture, (my food loss totaled a least $300.00) at some point of this very frustrating conversation I was given a few options.
rent a refrigerator and I would be reimbursed $30.00 per week
Buy a dorm size and I would be reimbursed $50.00
These are not options to me because I purchased my appliance new and that is what I expected to still have. I am a family of 5 with small children and no extra money to spare on equipment that I do not want. I also do not believe that I should have to bring an appliance into my home that I have no idea of its origin. I have heard horror stories of insect infestation on rental appliances.
Mean while the other part came to my house, I called to request an appointment and was given the date February 13th. I was told (on February 12th) that the service man would arrive at my house between 8am and 12 pm, then they called back to confirm again and the young lady told me that I would not get a phone call because I was the first stop of the day.
By 11:00 on February 13th no one showed, when I made the phone call to inquire on the status. I was told that the repair man called out sick, No one bothered to call and inform us. And then we were given another date for the repairs February 15th. I called your company and voiced my frustration with the whole situation. I spoke with many people on February 14th starting with Vanessa I was then transferred to Lori who called A&E they gave another date to come which I did not agree with I had waited long enough and I was running out of money. Lori called other repair services to request they come and make the repairs. Donnelly’s was the first to reply and proceeded to inform me that no other repair company would come and even look at the appliance because A&E was already there and there are liability issues. I then spoke with Laquinta who promised me that she would get me some help and try to resolve the issue. I was then told that I would get another check for $100, but I still had no refrigerator and no definite date on when it would be repaired. I explained that on February 15th my family was due to go on a family vacation, which I had to cancel due to the fact that I could not get anyone to watch my house because I had no way for anyone to eat or cook. And I was running out of money.
I was given another date of February 17th for the repair to take place.
On February 17th A & E called and cancelled stating that they did not have anyone to make the repair. I again called your company and spoke with Laquinta and she then stated that she was requesting that there be a replacement. I asked for a phone call back and did not get it.
I called on February 18th and was told that her request for a new appliance was denied. I was then told that I have a couple of choices.
1. I could buy a new refrigerator and be reimbursed 100% if it was a Frigidaire product.
2. If I have my original receipt I can be reimbursed for the original appliance. (which I do)
Unfortunately I am out of money and can not afford to buy a new appliance and given your track record did not want to wait and see if I actually get reimbursed and the fact is that I still have no refrigerator.
At this point Lori stated that she would request that it be reviewed again and that she promised that someone would call me back. I received no such call. When I called back to again (February 20th) voice my displeasure
I was then told that they were going to grant my request and that the service department would be in contact with me within 24-48 hours to let me know of the dealer and an approximation of when I would receive a new appliance. I again never received a phone call.
February 24th I called numerous times to speak with Laquinta, I was transferred to many people (on my request to speak with managers) I ended up speaking with Calvin.
At some point I was told that they were not able to reach the dealer, they had the wrong dealer information, I did give them the correct dealer information and I was told that again someone would call me back and again I received no phone call. February 25th I finally heard from the dealer and they explained that they did receive a phone call from your company and that I will not have to wait 3-4 days before the dealer receives it then it will come to me. I again made phone calls to your company to voice my extreme displeasure.
I am a family of 5 with a 5 year old that has not been able to have a proper meal in 24 days. I have spent every dime that we have to try to provide some sort of nourishment for my family. We are now out of money and patience. I have never made a complaint against any company until now, nor have I ever asked for anything that I do not deserve. But I feel that we should be compensated for 24 days of the aggravation and stress that this has placed on my family. My son has gone to school and told his teachers that he did not eat and that we have no refrigerator and I had to explain the situation to the school and thank goodness that they did not call the Department of children and families on us. Myself and my husband for the past few days have had to go without so that I could provide for the children. I am seriously considering contacting a state agency to help with proceeding with this matter further. I will also send a copy of this letter to the better business breau, Goodhouskeeping seal of approval and my local news consumer report. At this point receiving a new refrigerator is no longer good enough. I am EXTREMLY disappointed with your company and the results that have been handed to me. It is now February 24th and I have no Idea when I will have an appliance or any way to fill it. It will now take a lot to recoup all of the money that we have put out. I at least expect a phone call to confirm that you have received this and what your company at this point can do to assist me. I would like to know when I expect to have a refrigerator in my home.

Sincerely,

Lisa M. Giudice

Frigidaire a lemon of a washer

I bought a brand new Frigidaire washing machine in August of 2007 from Grand Central in Hazleton. It has been serviced 3 times for the same problem since that time, the minimum number of repairs necessary before they will consider a replacement. Now that it's experienced the same problem for the 4th time, I'm expected to wait another 72 hours for them to "consider" a replacement machine. There is a complaint on file with the Company with a reference number of [protected]. I advised them if there is not a new washing machine in my basement by Saturday, January 5, 2008, this will be broadcast on all three local television news stations. With that comment, all I received so far was that someone will get back with me.

I purchased the electrolux washer this past Sept. 2008.
The washer never goes into the spin/dry cycle. I have
to bail out the washer so that the water does not flood my floor. Then take one piece at a time out in order to wring dry my clothes. It is the most disgusting piece of equipment that I have ever purchased. I requested a new washer. I was told by the Applicance Store that Fridgidare does not do that.
Why.? Itfthe Washer is a lemon, why do I have to suffer. The manufacture should make good, but Canada is out of the jurisdiction of USA.

Frigidaire pathetic customer service associates and worst service

We had purchased refridgerator from this company second time cuz we wre quite happy with the product. How I wish we knew what kind of service they provide after their product is sold. Our compressor is not working and its since last two months we have issued a complaint number J 765. This complaint was raised on 21/10/07. Such a shame that till now this issue is not resolved. Mr Padmakar or mr prabhakar who is looking after this matter is telling me since last two months that he is not getting any compressor from the company. Besides, he is not ready to take the onus of the same. He had the wits to tell me that its company fault not my fault. I asked him are you working as a free lancer or for the company. He stated that 'Madam now you do what you want, I cannot help you?'. Eventually he asked me for one more day and committed that on 1st Jan it would be done. Till today its not done and now he is not even picking up the call. Is this the kind of service such company proivde being international brand. Nobody associated with this company, like their dealer, their ASC and the company itself is not ready to take the onus, so we customers are actually left nowhere to go!
Enough of this crap. Mr Padmakar, who doesnt even have the courtsey to answer the call and had the guts to disconnect my call. His assistant Miss meenaxi is tellin me, Sir is very busy he cannot speak to you, but he called me and told me to pass on this mesage to you that compressor is still not come from the company and we canot gurantee anything as of now. I asked him, how come he is not tellin me directly, she stated Sir is lil busy with his work and cant attend your call. I wondered thruout the day, sir is so busy that he doesnt have the time to attend my call but he has the time to call back his asst and let her kne the status. Is this the type of courtsey your agents provide. Is this the way to deal with the customer. I am in the customer service industry since last five days and even sometime we are not able to help customers immediatley, but we never worked like Mr Padmakar or Prrabhakar. Does he even have the understanding ot sense that what kind of negativity he is accumulating by doing such acts.
What a disappiontment? Being such a international brand such kind of service is provided by them.
Regards,
Richa.

sir,
i purchased the refrigerator from appliance citylaxmi nagar, delhi on 22/02/2004 and there was four year warrenty on compressor.
Some days before, it stopped cooling. i lodged the compalint on dyna enterprise (customer service) then the technical staff from dyna told us that your compressor is not working and it will have to replaced and around 1500 rs will be charges. We agreed and he replaced the compressor but again same problem happens within one month. Again i lodged the compliant then the technical staff from dyna told us that gas was more that is why this problem occurs. After refilling the gas, again same problem occurs then i again lodged the complaint, the technical staff from dyna told us that its defrost system is not working and it will have to be replaced. Sir i got frustated just by lodging the complaint.
If such a reputated company will do like this, who will believe

Frigidaire defective stove!

Well i have been complaining about getting my stove repaired for the past 3 and a half months. I have had a service tech in to see the problem and they have not repaired it. I have given the run around on this matter in which i am trying to co-operate with bad boy furniture. They have made other appointments with other techs in which can not be fulfilled. I have made people stay home to accommodate their schedule only to find out that they never showed up or not even a courtesy call. (This has happened more then twice keep in mind) the service at bad boy and there commitment to customer service is all a lie... I have not had a oven for the past 3 and a half months and it seems i am will be fighting for this for a while... So keep in mind if customer service is important to you pls think twice at buying at bad boy furniture... as they are not fulfilling their advertising that customer service is # 1 to them.

I have a Frigidaire range model LGET3033KWE. I bought it a year and a half ago. I paid over $700 for it. Just after the warranty expired the electrical main frame went out costing me $282.82. The oven just went out today. This is a piece of Junk!
Another thing that irritates me is that the Lowe's representative told me this model was one of the best stoves on the market. However, the Dad's Appliance Repair repairman, Berea, KY told me he's been fixing this model everywhere. Needless to say, I will never buy another Frigidaire product.

I am a senior and I also purchased an electric range more recently in April 2010 and similarily the white porcelaine stove top started to peel around the burners causing a burnt discoloration look. I became concerned that this might also present a safety issue. Unfortunatley we didn't have extended warranty and they had also told us to deal with the manufacturer, Frigidaire/Electrolux. They sent out a technician/serviceman but his report reflected it as being a cosmetic issue, probably brought on by consumer abuse, eg..using abrasive cleansers etc...which isn't the case at all . We've also never been rough with our appliances. It was emphasized that they would replace the porcelaine stove top only as a gesture, as it wasn't for service reasons..rather, for cosmetic reasons only. To our disappointment they ended up replacing it two times in less than a year but the porcelaine stove top still resulted in the same way. The white porcelaine around each burner continued to peel and appears rusted. We've been told they will no longer address this issue and we continue to dread wiping it down. I 've never had such an issue with any other appliance in the past and I too will never recommend a Frigidaire appliance.

Frigidaire electrolux canada sucks!

May 11 2005, we purchased the best set of appliances Electrolux Home Products make, Frigidaires Pro Series, On Dec 15. Only 7 months later we had to repair the ice maker under warranty ( no problem) well it never got fixed till late Jan/06. On Feb 21/06,The repairman made another house call to repair the ice maker again, Well it never got fixed till Mar 29/06. In July/06 they finally replaced the ice maker with a new one, at this point the warranty had run out so Electrolux finally covered the cost of the problem that started 7 months earlier after a lot of phone calls.

In Aug/07 the mother board that operates the electrical end of the refrigerator died, and had to be replaced,($400.00) later

Frigidaire extended warranty

I purchased a freezer andwas talked into an extended warranty for an additional 49.99. I have had the freezer for two years when it stopped working. I lost about $350.00 worth of food. I notified the company told them I had purchased the extended warranty. they said they could not get the repairman out for two days. an appointment was made. The repairman said that a thermostat switch was bad and that I was going to have to pay approximately $165.00 and said that I was just covered for an additional 5 years on the compressor. When I was told that I was purchasing an extended warranty it was inferred that it was for the entire freezer not just the compressor that already has a five year warranty. This is no more than deciet, and a huge lie considering how many other people they scam this way.

Whatever happened to integrity, honesty, and a person word that means something!

Don't waste your money on a Frigidaire or Electrolux extended warranty. When you have a problem it is impossible to get service. They have a number to call for repairs. You get a recording telling you to call back as they are too busy. The number is [protected]. Call it and try to report it. You'll see. This company is a complete fraud.

Purchased an extended warranty (5 years) on 4 appliances. Dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator, electric range and microwave for $700. Called to get the handle on the microwave fixed as it had broken off. Arrangements were made for repairs. The appliance repair folks called me and said the microwave handle was considered "cosmetic" and it would cost $110 plus labor to get it fixed! The handle is used to open and close the unit and makes the unit functional, hardly see how the handle can be considered "cosmetic"! Strongly recommend everyone stay away from Frigidaire's extended warranty - it more of a hassle than it is worth.
