I placed an order for my department on March 15th. This order is for 4 stocked medic kits, 4 OPA kits, 20 Biohazard bags, 3 packs of Pupil gauge penlights, 4 NPA kits, 6 pulse oximeters, 2 BP cuffs with scopes, 6 CAT Tourniquets, a d 8 head immobilizers.
When the order was placed, these items showed "In-Stock" and as soon as the order was put in, I get an email that most items are on back order with no date of when they will be available again. Eventually, some items started to come in in partial orders. And the Medic Kits had a shipping date of 3-26-2024... They still show that same shipping date and nothing has shipped.
Still missing all the Medic Kits, 14 Biohazard bags, 1 NPA kit, and 1 Pulse Ox. Customer service specialists have not been helpful. I was told that the Medic Kits are just waiting on a few bandages and a blanket and that they may not ship until June or July. I have advised them that I must receive these by the end of fiscal year (June 30th) as state law in Oklahoma will not allow us to pay for expenses from the previous fiscal year, with the next fiscal years budget (2022 Oklahoma Statutes Title 11. Cities and Towns §11-17-206).I have further explained that the outstanding items may have to be canceled if they can't produce them before them. Customer Service Specialist Tim Muncie was not very concerned.
On the same day, we placed a larger order with thefirestore.com which has been closed and fulfilled within a month.
I don't understand how a company like Galls would do this, unless they feel that my little departments order isn't as important as others and have placed us on the back burner to fulfill larger orders that have come in. If this is true, this is not only a disservice to me and my department, but to the citizens of my community who deserve better.
Claimed loss: Open P.O. causing financial problems. False Advertising of Out-Of-Stock Items as In-Stock.Inconsistent communications.Failure to meet order requirements.
Desired outcome: Ship what was ordered.
