I booked flight from Sydney to Delhi via Bangalore. My flight from Sydney to Bangalore which was Qantas got delayed by 3 hours and I immediately informed gaura travel to reschedule second flight as there will be no time catch Bangalore to Sydney. I informed them when I was in airport in morning and when I reached I heard no reponse from gaura travel and they haven’t reschedule my second flight. As a result I am stuck in Bangalore airport. Even after contacting everyone I was not yet arranged any flight. I spoke to agent for 3 hours still no resolution. Pathetic service. I am alone girl stuck at Bangalore airport even though I paid for flight till Delhi.
Claimed loss: Couldn’t reach Delhi on same day. Agent not booking my second flight, neither refunding also I have to book accomodation separately as I am stuck in Bangalore alone

This scam company made me work for 12 hours for the full month and from 15th of July till 30th oh July them made work with out any day off and then the stupid HR dia who is good for nothing tells me your service is terminated and you will get your salary on the salary date. And today when the salary is not credited and I called her she replied can't help salary will be after 45 days. Why should I wait, what was the reason for the termination, I am going to send a leagl notice. I want my salary. Bloody scam company.

I have booked an air e-ticket on 21st March 2023 from Adelaide to Melbourne connecting flight to Delhi with Qantas Airways and the agent name is Gaura Travel.
We have made the payment and it was showing successful at the Agents system, however when we reached at the airport airlines staff didn't allow us to check-in because the ticket was not reflecting in their system.
It was very surprising that we have got the confirmation for the ticket and payment but still airlines denied the same. Agent has created dummy ticket which was invalid.
We are trying to connect with travel agents 1000 times they don't have any answer to this. They are not listening to our issue and not even refunding our amount or booking any alternative ticket.
This ticket was booked for a senior citizen and we were coordinating with the senior person for 2-3 hours. It was such an embarrassing situation for us. Her tourist visa is going to expire soon. No one helped us at the airline as well as travel agent is not responding to us. It seems that the company is fake and makes fraudulent tickets.

Pathetic services. For the first time I tried to use the services of 'GAURA TRAVELS or for that matter a travel agent, as I normally book my own tickets online. I got the recommendation from my friends that they have the best prices. They didn't give me any extraordinary prices but just matched the price with the online price as they were quoting me a higher price than what I was getting online. I was asked for a 5% deposit to create the booking. Once I did the same I was asked to pay the balance amount. I transferred the balance amount immediately and sent the proof of payment to the email id given to me by the agent. Very next day the agent calls me and tells me that they have not received the amount nor they have received the email with the proof of payment. I immediately forwarded him the same email along with other proof of payment that is the email received from the bank itself stating that the payment has been submitted. The agent confirmed receiving the email but said payment has not been received. I told him that the normal transaction period of any bank is 2-3 business days to reflect the payment. He then said that as the payment has not been received they cannot hold the booking with airlines and they have cancelled the booking. He then told me to pay another 5% of the amount to create another booking, which will be refunded. I refused to pay another 5% as I had already paid them the 100% amount. I asked him to process the refund for the amount as this is not the service which was expected from them. He told me a process to follow for the refund by filling up the refund form online, which I did. The very next day I received a message from the refund team stating that "Please note that we are sending your details to the relevant team to further check regarding your refund request. Please be informed that as the booking was cancelled before the balance amount was credited, the refund will be only done for the balance amount as the initial deposit amount was already utilised to create the booking. However, note that the refund of any liable amount may take up to 6 - 8 weeks to get processed."
They cannot hold the booking for the customer for 2-3 days but will refund the amount in 6-8 weeks. If the amount is not credited in their account in 24hrs they will cancel the booking and will ask for more money to create and hold the booking. After that they will also not refund the 100% amount as the booking was cancelled before they received the amount, whereas actually the booking was not cancelled by the customer but by them or their airline only. What is the use of this kind of agent who doesn't have that kind of relationship with the operators, who can hold the bookings for their customers (in this case the travel agent is the customer of the airlines)? What these agents are getting commissions for? Giving this kind of customer service? After providing all the proof of payment also they were not able to give any solution until and unless I pay them another 5% of the amount to create another booking?
To my surprise, after this I received the call from the sales team stating that your e-ticket has been issued as we have received the amount. I just asked them if the booking was cancelled yesterday itself by the airlines then how come they have issued the ticket today? The agent didn't have any explanation for my question, he only said that I just gave you the information that I received yesterday. I clearly told them that I have already got my ticket booked from somewhere else and I need a 100% refund.
While I am writing this review, I have still not received any other reply to my message which I had written to them on the above message received.
Although GAURA TRAVELS state that they have their head office in Melbourne, Australia but they don't have any local phone number to contact them. They have only [protected] number for the Australian people to contact them and the entire contact centre team is sitting in India.

Pathetic experience. They don't event stick to what they communicate to the customer.
Customer care employees are so rude and disconnect the phone when they are asked about something.
Managers are never available whenever I requested for.
They never give call-back.

Bad communication and customer service
The travel agency is horrible in communication and customer service. An email was sent on a change of one leg of the flight and was highlighted the change. Remaining leg had also changed, but Gaurav travel never highlighted. Also the day before the flight the dates provided was as per the original booking. Because of which I have missed the flight and had to fork $10,000 AUD in rebooking through another agency.
The travel agent just hangs up the call if they cannot resolve.

Hi my name is paras recently i booked a returning ticket from Melbourne to delhi my booking id is 96387 and on that time when i book the tickets on that time one of your team mate said that if i need to change the dates it will charge only 200$ nothing else but now my flight ticket is for 8th feb and returning ticket is for 20th march but now i call them for change my dates only returning once i want returning ticket on 30th march but now they said that it will charge 350 per person i also have a itinerary form in which its mention that if i want to change dates it will only take 200$ and no fee for airlines i will attach the picture of itinerary please solve my problem as soon as possible

Cancelled Flight rescheduling
Hello, my flight is on 7th of dec. Booked more then month ago. Is cancelled by airline or you guys i have no idea. I am chasing you guys from last 3-4weeks but didn’t get any response. They are not giving me any option it is only 4days left but you guys didn’t give me any flight. We are four people. Now i will sue you guys and take this matter to tribunal in australia if you didn’t give us ticket until today. We have to go back to australia and now rate is too high for other flights but if we have to buy that flight you have pay us everything. I got 8 tickets from you on the spot. We are soo disappointed. Gaura travel incompitent agents
We had booked a flight with Gaura Travel on 2nd feb for our flight on 1st March to fly via Sri lankan airlines but day of the travel 1st March it was a complete nightmare and Gaura Travel agents were unable to assist in any ways.
we were refused by airlines to board the flight due to confusion on Covid rules from their end whe we were completly as per the rules.
when called Gaura Travel as a distress call we were shocked to hear that though Gaura travel is based in Australia but customer service is all operated back in India and teh concerned department will be open as per 10am Indian timing that is we had to wait untill afternoon to speak to teh correct person.
Mean while speaking to our resources we were able to organise allotment of the seat in next flight and all it was required from Gaura travel was to released the allocation so its in system for checkin but it took 5 hours for Gaura Travel agents to understand the process and finally it was approved @10pm when Sri lankan airline office was closed to release the ticket and we ended up paying $2000 per person to the airline to issue us a new ticket. when applied for refund with Gaura travel they gave further surprise by saying that $800 will be processing fee out of refund so out of total $5000 we were only given $2000.
I normally don't write for anyone but I suppose this is to warn others, we book with agent so we have backup at time of despair but this agency works only to make money, they cash on opportunities, there are no ethics or policies for the company to even approach customer in need to put any efforts in resolving. They are really shame and stigma on legitamcy. So in nutshell if you want to book a flight try booking it directly at least there are not many people involved and anyways you are not gonna get any favour but a pain.
Desired outcome: It would be great if team has been imparted a proper traning and i would like to have my full refund of the ticket.

I have booked a ticket flight ticket on 17/02/2022, and immediately I had made a payment. I had sent an email on the same day by attaching the screenshot, the same day I have even contacted gaura travels and they have confirmed the same. While booking the ticket I told the agent that I am pregnant and I can't follow up, because I was already overdue. But, after booking I was calling everyday for the status and update, agents said the same thing that payment was received. I have been in the hospital since 22/02/2022, When I got the baby on 24/02/2022 early morning around 02:00 through cesarean the same day around 15:28, gaura travel team sent an email stating that the flight tickets were sold out they can't be able to provide the same tickets as I have originally opted for. Then I got a missed call, and a voice message, after that I have contacted multiple times by sending emails and calls asking the agents to transfer the call to a flight change team agent who's name is Huzaifa Kachchi, but they never transferred the call and they promised to arrange a call back. After following up multiple times through mails and calls they arranged a call back, and he offered the ticket on 27/02/2022 from Hyderabad to Delhi morning 05:00 to 07:15, remaining all stops are the same, we have accepted for the same but at the end they sent a e-ticket for 26/02/2022 from hyderabad to delhi 10:50 PM to 27/02/2022 01;05 PM on 25/02/2022 at 9:53 PM to travel next day. The e-tickets were sent to me after multiple follow-ups though different communication channels. I have originally accepted the tickets from Hyderabad to Kolkata, kolkata to singapore, and singapore to melbourne with 2 stops and the journey dates were 28/02/2022 to 01/03/2022, but then gaura travel guys called me and changed to 3 stops from hyderabad to delhi, delhi to singapore, singapore to brisbane, and brisbane to melbourne on 27/02/2022 to 28/02/2022, I accepted the same, at the end travel team sent different tickets from 26/02/2022 to 28/02/2022. I already told Huzaifa Kachchi that I had a cesarean and I am in hospital and explained the situation very clearly, even though I told that my mother is a patient and she needs a wheelchair. I told ruksana to arrange a call back but she never arranged a call back. I am having all the conversation recordings and all email proofs of what the gaura travel guys have promised and what the service they provided. Gaura travel guys gave me mental tension and suffered me in my difficult times. I needed my mother urgently so I booked a ticket with other airlines. The amount is $2347 so I need compensation for the same and also I need the whole $1300 that I paid to gaura travels that needs to be refunded to my bank account as soon as possible. Gaura travel agent forced and promised the things to buy the ticket.

Customer Service and Misleading information costing us to pay for additional ticket

This is in regards to the Reservation. We made a booking for my mother and father one way to fly from Mumbai to Melbourne using Gaura Travels for 8 Feb 2022 and we completely put our trust on them as with the current travel changes and conditions being a travel agent we trusted, they will be aware of all the documents required while travelling .
We were only advised by the agents only verbally that we needed to google ATD form and the website would come up . Usually travel agents email the links for any additional travel documents that need to be carried while travelling especially more so due to COVID travel conditions the rules keep updating. We didn’t get any such link. We did as per what was advised by the agent and googled the ATD form and filled it on behalf of our parents. Not once but I double checked with their customer care team even a day before my parent’s departure date on 8 February asking if ATD is the only form they had to bring along with a valid visa and a full vaccine certificate. They were affirmative and said that those were the only documents they needed.
On the day of travel they flew from Mumbai to Dubai without any issues but were denied entry at Dubai airport saying they didn’t have a travel exemption issued by the border force which is required to be provided and also a state exemption that needs to be submitted online and needs to be presented when they land in Melbourne. We were absolutely unaware of these additional documents. So we called Gaura Travel customer service for help on this emergency situation and their customer service was appalling. I was told my call was being escalated and I should get a call soon. Then they vanished from the surface of the earth no assistance and no call back or anything and my parents were left in lurch and were stranded at the Dubai airport and as a result they had to miss their flight. Our parents were in Dubai at 3.00 am local time and were without any assistance or direction, hungry, tired and absolutely under tremendous mental and physical stress which is a real shame on Gaura Travel to put senior citizens through this misery
On our own accord we figured out what documents were missing and got them together. In the mean while we also had to book them a hotel as the next flight was only the next day at 3.00 am Dubai time which costed us a ridiculous $500 for one night. That’s not all the saga continues. The airline ground staff also said they cannot honour the old ticket to board next days flight and we will have to purchase a new ticket !
Again, I called Gaura Travel for assistance but in vein they had no clue of the additional documents and I asked if they could book my parents as a compensation, on the next flight as they had to miss their flight for no fault of ours. Their customer service based in Colombo had no idea and kept saying I have to ask the Indian team, same company but operating differently. I asked if I could speak to the supervisor but the agent denied and said he was busy and did not put me through. In between all this drama my mother’s sugar level was dropping low as she is diabetic and had not eaten for hours together and she just didn’t have any energy to pull through.
We had no choice rather to borrow money and book them another ticket as we couldn’t leave them stranded at the airport and the ticket costed us an additional $4,50 . So, for no fault of ours and trusting a so called travel agency who cannot even provide basic information to their travellers on the required travel documents we ended up spending big money. In these difficult times this is the last thing I needed. This experience has really crippled our financial position and we are demanding an explanation to such a poor service . We need a refund for all the out of pocket expenses and an additional compensation for this mental stress me and my family have had to go through in the last two days for no fault of ours. This is absolutely unacceptable and Gaura Travels should educate their customer service teams about how things work here in Australia although they are based in India and Sri Lanka.

What a scam, make full payment, now they says ticket will only issue 12-24 hr prior to departure. they only give assurance that you will get tkt, but nothing in written. Do book with this agent its rip off.

Do not deal with this company. They took money from for a full fare ticket and then proceeded to book a child's ticket and issue it to us. They are now refusing to issue the correct ticket and the flight is on monday after this weekend so nothing can be done. They refuse to refund the money paid and refuse to do anything else. I have proceeded with legal action against them and will also be proceeding with placed media articles. We will ensure that people in australia are aware that this is a fraudulent company that the victorian government is allowing to operate without impunity. This is a travesty for consumer rights.

misleading information and excessive charges

These people play games, each person give a different information when it comes to a date change. Initially was told, before travel the admin fee would be higher, after one way travel the admin fee would be less. I was told that the admin fee would be the same as charged by airways and no commission for them but when i escalate they came up with other story that admin fee will be from both airways and gaura travels.
The worst customer service and not trained well so at least everyone can talk the same (giving the false information). The admin fee airlines charge was an 120% less compared to gaura travels charge.
In addition to that, gaura travels gave an incorrect information that only they are authorized to make a date change and cannot done by the actual airlines and the price is 120% less. Based the information given by guara travel customer service i have made decision to change date of return and paid.
I smell something fishy after all these conversations with gaura travels and i have contacted the airlines they said clearly the information given by travel agent was completely incorrect, passengers can contact them for a date change (only after one way travel was made) and the charges will be fixed i.E. $100 in my case.
Raised this issue with gaura travels but no actions has taken so far. In fact i had to contact several times to see how they are progressing and finally hey came up with they have not given any misleading information even after listening the recording. This is completely incorrect.
I would like to take this further.

This travel agency is there to cheat u out of money. Seriously still waiting on my business ticket refund. It's been 20months and apparently they charge a further $420 fee over and above the airlines cancellations chargers and guess what the fee is for - "their superior service". Each time I call their refund team is either on lunch or not working mind you it's meant to be a 24/7 service provider.
This is due to the fact whenever you become a member of their elements system you'll be able to get the industry type fares more cost-effective as you move up the tiers and attain business class
Asked for return ticket but gaura travel had booked two one way tickets.
I have asked gaura travel to book a return and transferrable ticket from delhi to adelaide. Instead of booking me a return ticket guara travel has booked me two one-way tickets of singapore airlines. When I asked them (Dev-gaura travel) to change the date for adelaide to delhi ticket after couple of months gaura travel asked me to pay $570.00. Well I said it is ridiculous money you have asked me to pay when customer requested for transferrable (Date change) ticket. Gaura travel (Dev) said they have booked two one way ticket instead of one return ticket.
I have contacted singapore airlines regarding changing date. Singapore airlines said they cannot amend this ticket because it is a restricted by travel agent.
I have contacted gaura travel again and gaura travel (Dev) told me travel agents and airlines have agreement on one way ticket. Only agent can amend the ticket who has booked the ticket. If it is a return ticket, it can be amended by another agent after passenger has completed half journey. Well I said why gaura travel did not explain me at time when I have booked and requested for transferrable ticket. Gaura travel (Dev) said we cannot explain hundred things.
I want to tell everyone if you change a date through malaysia or singapore headquarter they only charges you $21.00 to $31.00, no matter what date you change. They won’t give you excuses this flight is busy that is why we are charging this ridiculous amount. Please do not get trapped by gaura travel. And make sure you have asked the agents ticket they have booked is return ticket not two one way tickets.
