claim on my vehicle
Made a claim on my 2006 ford mustang. They are claiming there is not enough evidence but they seem to be asking for more information on the vehicle after sitting at the mechanic shop for over a month building charges now they dont want take care of it. They claim the first adjuster didn't. See water but he still wanted to send my car to a mechanic 21/2 hrs away 2nd adjuster went to see my car the mechanic pulled the plug and found water in motor. then they askef for some diagonsict from mechanic but this whole time I dont hear nothing from my insurance. I leave messages but no call back
charged by geico a higher monthly premium because of problem on geicos app
policy number 4538-47-28-48
I had a non-owner vehicle policy with GEICO that I promptly cancelled when I realized it almost doubled the premium for my next month.
The excuse for this increase was that I did not signed a form sent to me.
I actually signed the form several times since GEICO sent me text messages with a link to this forms. When I clicked on the link the GECIO app said that I did not have anything to sign at the moment. Therefore I thought that the form was signed.
However GEICO said that non-owner policy cant be really access through the app. GEICO never told me that and now I have an outstanding balance.
I should not pay for a mistake that GEICO did with their app and their misinformation.
GEICO should pay the outstanding balance since it is their mistake.

auto insurance 'unethical behavior' policy [protected]
Under divorce agreement I was required to cover daughter's car (titled in ex-wife's name). I applied for this & my vehicle and it was sent to underwriters. Surprisingly they agreed to cover. Daughter goes to college in fall & exwife had sold home, so I listed her car at my address for now (by terms of divorce agreement daughter is with me a minimum of 2 days every other week). Exwife called & Geico agent canceled the policy which was to go into effect 2 days later saying they could not cover a car titled under another's name (even though the underwriters had approved it and it was expressly written out the second car was in ex-wife's name). Geico agent also accused me of lying on the form (a form she did not even have).
Where was does one begin in the list of the ethics violations here? #1, the agent was not authorized to talk to my exwife about MY policy. #2. How dare she call a geico client a LIAR when she even admitted she did not have the application that was sent to the underwriter? #3. How dare YOU allow her to OVERRULE the underwriters 2 days before a policy went into effect when I have already canceled my prior policy and had already been approved and paid for this policy?
Obviously I did not cover my car with Geico after that. This is the most pathetic (and possibly illegal - talking with unauthorized person about my policy) customer service I have ever heard. And I DO expect a response for this.
auto insurance
I filled a claim forcscrates that I found on my car when I walked outside from work. The adjuster came to my place of employment documented that he came to another location and then stated I was committing fraud and just wanted a paint job. The adjuster actually appeared really nice, & even pointed out dents that he stated came from someone opening their door & a dent near the gas tank. I don't appreciate the adjuster out right lying because this could have ended really wrong. It amazes me that Geico would hire someone that would falsely accuse someone purposely. I think I was racially Profiled due to the fact there was no reason for the adjuster to falsely make accusations about my character. And why would I allow him to come to my place of employment, have a deductible to pay for this type of ridiculousness.
claims agent
The adjuster running my claim gave information on the claim to the other driver, who doesn't have Geico before contacting me. It's been over a month and no outcome has happened. She doesn't return calls but does talk to the other driver, telling him the claim is going to be denied so he should come after me. Aren't you my insurance? Shouldn't you be talking to me first. If my claim is denied shouldn't I know first? I've had Geico for about 5-6yrs and I'm still with them because the rates are good but the customer service is terrible. No loyalty.
pothole I hit on march 13th resulted in suspension breaking
I am driving on springs as i have an air suspension that may have broken an airbag shock which may have broke the air compressor that supplies air to the system. I am now driving an unsafe motor vehicle as only way to get to work. I don't want to lose my job. The inspectors have done everything to find a way of not paying for this by saying my vehicle is too old and has wear and tear items that Geico doesn't cover. The fact is is that it is broken and rides on no shocks now just springs. The light came on immediately after the hit on the pothole and says to pull over that the running gear isn't working and its unsafe to drive. I have coverage for potholes and have given you so many clients as I am a salesperson for the biggest car company on long island.
I have a $500 deductible and the cost to repair it is $2100 . The damage resulted from the pothole and my insurance company won't pay for it? I believe 100% this came from the pothole and I need it fixed. I was undermined and they kept saying the car is too old and it is 2007 vw toaureg v10 tdi. im sorry it has an air suspension but why insure it then? Before I go and do anything else with BBB or any other remedies I wanted to see if there is anyone there that would like to work with me on this. Elite Motorsports has said it can come from a pothole and the compressor may have burnt out because of the hit or if airbag shock has hole in it from the pothole but has to air it up first . I would not be driving an unsafe car. Some trust and common sense has to be used here even if there is not a bar broken or tire didn't pop. Just because the tire didn't blow doesn't mean it didn't happen.

called to see if I can get a quote to lower my insurance
I am 86 years old. My policy is 2, 200. I called and start speaking with a lady, she asked me if I was the principal driver, I assumed that I was since the policy has my name as the insured driver and my sister as the additional driver. I just wanted to get a quote to see if my sister was the principal driver and maybe the insurance can be lower. She told me that I was trying to commit a fraud and she changed the names and charged me extra $45.00. I told her that I only wanted a quote no to change the policy. Finally, I hang up and call to another agent and she fixed the policy. So much for Geico!
Geico tries to rip you off.
insurance claim
I own a small Business in Fairfield Alabama, (JJ Wings, LLC). On January 14, 2018, a vehicle ran into the building causing destruction. The police report identified the owner of the vehicle and the insurance provider as (GEICO). GEICO was contacted and informed of the incident and provided the police report. A few days later a claim's adjuster from GEICO was sent out to access the damages. The adjuster said a GEICO representative would be in touch with their findings. After several weeks of not hearing from GEICO, my attorney reached out to GEICO requesting status of the claim. GEICO representative indicated they had not been able to reach the insured. After another couple of weeks, my attorney contacted GEICO again and was then informed that according the insured that she had sold the car several weeks prior to the incident and as such the GEICO representative indicated that they needed to further investigate her statement. I find it difficult to accept that GEICO would send a claim adjuster to assess damages if the insured did not have coverage! We have reached out to GEICO multiple times to request they either put in writing their denial of the claim or act in good faith to cover the damages of my business. There's been No return call to message left for GEICO or replies to email that have been sent to GEICO. Since the time the claim adjuster came out to date; this issue has gone unresolved for over 2-months. Not only have I lost my business and loss of income, I've suffered frustration, mental anguish and depression.
commercial of scruff mcgruff
Went looking for insurance, but decided the past commercials about Peter Pan and then this new commercial with Scruff McGruff the Crime Dog was too much. The disrespect to police, crime task forces and a famous being like Scruff is just crude, rude and disgusting. It demeans reportibg crime. It is downing a popular reporting method taught to kids. In 2015 a motorist merge into my lane forcing me to swerve and as a result i lost my rear bumper on a guard rail. I was told by the responding officer that the motorist at fault was insured by geico. I contact geico the same day to inform them of the incident and find out if that individual would pay for my repairs. My claim was denied. A few days later geico informed me that a third party claimed that my vehicle struck theirs and created damage the fender of their car. I provided pictures prooving that its was impossible that my vehicle struck another car because there wasnt any damage to my car other than the loss of my bumper. The claim agent contacted me days later to to let me know that the third party claim was denied which didnt surprise me. Fast forward to a week ago. I decided to shop around for a better auto rate when another insurance company told me i had a accident on my repory from 2015 and that claim was paid through my policy. Geico went to arbitration and paid out on an accident claim without my knowledge. Now i am paying 220 a month on one car. I would like to get a class action lawsuit going against Geico. If you have a similar incident please comment below.
emergency roadside service
My vehicle died on me and due to traffic I had to pull my vehicle into the center turning lane (used by both sides of the road) on a very busy street that is prone to pretty terrible accidents. There are probably 8 different towing agencies in this area and they called one with a single truck and two calls ahead of me, with an estimated 45 minute wait (turned out to be an hour). My problem is not with the tow truck driver, he got to me as soon as he could. It's with geico. "Emergency" roadside assistance should not take an hour to respond.
auto insurance
In 2015 my husband, who was renewing his green card, suddenly passed away from cancer. While he was undergoing treatment our car was hit, while he was turning left at a junction. A sum was paid out to the person who hit him. It tooks months of arguing in front of two judges and eventually they cleared his name. In 2016 a Geico attorney contacted me to say the same person(young woman) was claiming further damages and I would not be held responsible. Her activity was deemed to be fraudulent. The car insurance was changed for cheaper rate just to cover parking on street parking in Cambridge. Throughout the 18 or so months of anguish arguing about getting the car repaired I was also grieving the loss of my husband. I was left with no income and explained this to Geico at the time. My daughters jeep was given back to DCU in 2015 and policy/coverage cancelled. I have difficulty recalling the various conversations but it took great effort for me to convince Geico to cover repairs to the car. Eventually it was deemed a total loss in 10/01/2016 through your agent Amanda Scarrci.
I have had no communication from Geico since then, until today 3/ 9/18. It was reported to the credit bureau that I owe back payment for some odd number of days. I am in shock since:
1. It is pouring salt into a wound -it took over a year to agree my husband was innocent and get Geico to pay for our damages.
2. I heard nothing since 2016.
3. I am 67 years old and my income is under 22, 000 per year. This is a great deal of money to me which I cannot even justify.

insurance
Geico is the worst insurance company ever. Reasons listed below.
1. They have lower rates at the time of sign up. After one month they will jack up rates without any reason. I was paying $1750 with liberty and geico gave me a quote of 1200 so I joined Geico. Then after a month, Geico jacked up my rates to 2000 without any reason. They said, system did some recalculation and your revised rates will be effective immediately.
2. I switched Geico aftter few months and then Geico is bluffing on my regund check. On phone, they said, they have issued a refund check of $1238 but I haven't received it even after 2 months.
3. Geico is a bunch of liers and reps are psycopaths. They talk very rudely and are the least helpful creatures (not enough to qualify as humans). They have no clue about their own process workflows and can't answer customer queries plus they don't have any basic communication etiquettes. They don't listen and ready to butt in when the customer hasn't finished the question. Seriously, people at grocery store cash counters are at least 1000 times better than Geico [censor].
cancellation of my policy
I called Geico insurance to look for a better quote and happened to get a good one with the insurance agent i was working with. So we set it up and was good to go and the date set for the quote to be effective was on the 17th of February
Unfortunately 2days prior to the 17th i got an emergency bill and couldn't afford the $415.30 quote that i had just got, so I called Geico back and talked to a lady on the 16th to cancel my quote before it was effective and she said she did but that wasn't the truth because a week after that renters insurance took money from my account. So I called Geico back again because when I got the auto ins quote i got renters so as to lower my premium down. When I talked to another agent he notified me my auto was still effective regardless of me letting him know that I had cancelled it a week prior. So he cancelled the auto and he transferred me to the renters where they cancelled my renters too, but today on the 02/24/2018 Geico took the $415.30 that I had just called a week ago and again not too long to cancel. This is really messing me up because my classes will now have to be cancelled because of two missed payments and it's going to take me another week or more to get my money back, so how is this customer service or even fair at all?
claims department/terrible paint job
My neighbor hit my car while it was parked on December 12, 2017 and I took my car in to Caliber Collision in Rock hill which was assigned to me by geico on December 13, 2017. The adjuster Michelle Thomas who worked for geico but in this shop said that there was a possibility that the paint could come back a different color which was weird because I've never heard of anything like that. They called me at 3 P.M. On December 15th and said my car would be ready at 5:30. I thought that was a little sketchy because it would be dark at that time and if there were any issues I wouldn't be able to notice and I was right. I saw that the paint was off the next day but the shop was closed. I called first thing Monday morning and was instructed to bring it in the following day so they could take a look. Another adjuster who also worked for geico took a look at my car and said that she noticed the difference in color and they would correct it and then begged me not to do the survey or review. They put me in another rental and kept my car for three days but when I picked it up they said that they didn't see anything wrong with it, what was the point in keeping my car then. I called geico again and asked to speak to a supervisor about my claim and Gewan Ramsarran came out to my home to take a look at the car. He did everything he could to point the finger elsewhere instead of listening to my concern but had the nerve to say that the people in the shop had poor customer service. He also said that it's a three step paint job so that could be why it's off and then said that the metal on the car is going to be a different color than the plastic on the car, he said everything he could except for you're right it's off we will fix it. My car was struck by a dear a few years ago and it came back to me as if there was nothing ever wrong with it, the paint was perfect. I pointed out where the car paint was off where Caliber painted it and he said that it was off on the other side too but that side has never been touched. Instead of him saying we will fix it and get the paint to match he said the best thing that I can do is get an attorney. The warranty on the paint job that they swear you have if there are any issues is a lie and now I'm driving around with a two toned car. I am now considering leaving geico and I will be contacting the attorney general's office like Gewan Ramsarran suggested. This has been nothing but a headache since December 2017.
bad customer service
I Moved to Boston, to transfer my vehicle registration my Lease Company send documents to GEICO .
GEICO have to forward those documents to me, but GEICO keep those documents 1 week and then mailed out to me .
even I called them the same day when they received those documents and they says we send this today and in 5 business days you will received it
they wasted 1 week then they send to me, mail took another 3 days .
my car parked for 2 weeks in garage and I used public transport to commute to work .
GEICO don't know what is customer service, even calling them again and again that I want these documents ASAP but they don't bother and continue their lazy behavior .
non existent road service
I switched to geico when the online insurance I had stopped covering wv. I specifically questioned my agent about the road service bundled into my comprehensive, as I live in a rural area. He assured me it was not a problem. He was wrong. My car is over 20 years old, I never get comprehensive coverage, but I did. First time I needed a tow from my home 5 miles to my mechanic, no one was available. After keeping me on the phone for half an hour while trying to find someone I gave up, called my mechanic to tow. Second time, recently, same scenario but I was 10 minutes from winchester, va, a fairly large town. Stuck at a gas station on a cold day, another half hour on the phone. Nothing. No one would tow to my mechanic, 22 miles away. What the hell? Again, I called my mechanic. When I got home I cancelled my comprehensive. I guess I needed to break down in an urban or suburban area. Why not be honest about rural road service?
insurance coverage
My husband was in an automobile accident with a Geico policy holder. They guy ran into my husband, causing a head cacusion. The first responders had to pry him out of our car for crying out loud. We called Geico and the 1st thing theu said, we heard from our policy holder and the officer said it wasn't his fault due to weather conditions, we've escalated to a different department. The very time I spome to this lady, she was rude and non-professional. Because of my husband's injuries we obtained a lawyer. Close to 30 days after the accident, we are still without a vehicle or any of our messages returned by the rude rep. Yesterday, our personal injury attorney, my husband and I conference her and she told us, Geico deny all liability because the police officer couldn't establish fault. Wth?!
So know we're stunned and confused. In drivers Ed, they teach you about right away and yielding when making turns. In the rules of the road booklet, plain black & white, weather conditions is not a valid defense. What happened to establishing the point of impact?
How do I contact the BBB because they have failed us as United States Citizens. What if children were in the car?
I hope your husband is doing better.
Was there a citation given?
your poor service!
I've been hit by one of your client, my car was totaled, you denied fault!. Your Client is clearly at fault.. she left a stop sign and pulled out I need front of me. Took it to small claims and won the case without a layer. Now you are appealing the judgement. It's clear you run a dirty business! Now I will get a lawyer and get you for more then I asked in the first place..
We are forced to have insurance by law and you are clearly taking advantage of me and everyone else. .I will spend every last penny taking you thieves to court, not only that but I will let the world know geico sucks!
auto quote
I am very upset. I was given a quote online and confirmed the price on the phone. I go into the office and then was told that I had to pay more. This is not fair to me, I had to drive an hour using my time and gas just to be told I would have to pay more. I will be complaining to your office and telling my friends and family how you don't really save money with geico.
