After 9 months, of ownership, a flooring issues has been identified. Camper on GRW lot, 3 wks took two phone calls, and Forest River requested photos. Running out of warranty, taking way too long to get Forest River approval to start work. Now 1 month left on warranty, work will not finish, may not even start until after warranty runs out, then no recourse if this issue happens again, this is not a minor issue. Flooring experiencing significant deterioration the longer time goes on, at a minimum warranty should be extended on order to monitor for this issue in the future. Two months of a one year warranty spent sitting on GRW lot

The reason I am writing is to express the extreme disappointment that I am experiencing with my new 2020 Apex 251RBK. I purchased this unit new from Giant Recreation World in Palm Bay Florida on Aug 28, 2020 and it has been in possession of the dealer for nearly 90 percent of the time that I have owned it. The build quality of this unit is absolutely deplorable. The list of problems with this unit is so lengthy that it is impossible to address the situation here. I've got plenty of pictures . This unit is plagued with leaks, swollen cabinets soft floors and wood. It is stinking of mold and mildew, and it is less than 1 year old. I want my money back!

Do NOT purchase their warranty plan! If RV is broken it will take two months just to get appointment to take in for them to determine repairs. We purchased 2018 tiffin allegro open road. After driving off lot there was a transmission issue that took escalation to fix. Now the passenger seatbelt broke, the toilet broke, the backup only works with blinker on, shower leaking in bedroom and main TV broke. None of their locations can get the RV in for review before October 20th. Then we would have to wAit for analysis, parts and repair... Meanwhile we can't travel unless we pay an outside service for repair. Horrible customer service! Plus they lied to sr mgmt about initial contact.

Purchased a brand new 2021 Catalina Coachmen on June 19th. This is being used as my permanent residence and was delivered by GRW to my property. Since I have owned this unit there has been nothing but issues that GRW is unwilling to repair. The bedroom slide is leaking water through the walls every time it rains and the paneling on the wall on the slide is bubbling from the leak. The shower was never caulked and leaks everywhere every time it's used. The walls in the kitchen area are coming loose from the framing. The caulking around the kitchen sink is also coming apart. GRW is unwilling to send someone to make repairs to trailer. Unit was purchased for a permanent residence an can not be moved.

2020 Coachman Travel Trailer that we have a loan on and can't use... we actually had home for 9 days! Purchased a 2020 Coachman Travel Trailer *** on May 16th, on May 22 returned it because the frig wouldn't work and the shower leaked, was told they couldn't get it in till 6/16 for repair so we brought it back on 6/16 I have called every week and all they keep saying is the parts are on order.We paid $31,000 for a camper we can't use.We have a loan from Bank US and I called the bank and they said the company should buy the camper back so that we can make another purchase. I have been paying a loan for something I don't have. The last conversation I had with them they hung up on me( nice customer service)

Purchased brand new Chaparral 5th Wheel in July. Plumbing Roof leak other issues. Service department has had since 11/4. No One Will Return Call Purchased new 5th wheel in July. Immediately discovered Plumbing/Roof Leak and other issues. Told they could not correct at punch list follow-up service appt. Left RV there on 11/4 to repair and replace wall, and other issues. It is now January 15th. Have called several times for status update. No one will return call. Unfortunately I am 3 hours away and have been unable to go to dealership. Looking for suggestions. I can't even find a name of anyone of authority to speak with. Only able to send emails and phone calls. Do I get an attorney? From the day we purchased this Brand New RV it has been a nightmare getting anyone to help us.

I had placed a$500 deposit on a new camper under the guidelines that the payment was under 400. It was not and now refuse to refund my deposit I went to upgrade to a bigger camper after I just bought one from them in March. I went there July 3 and spoke with the salesman Jerry Schiller who insisted that I put a $500 deposit instead of what I wanted to do$100. I told him I don't want a payment of over 400 he said no problem. He called me on July 6 and the payment was much higher than what we thought. I told Jerry I could not swing it and told him to please refund me my deposit. Jerry stated we don't do refunds it's not our policy. I told him that I have a copy of my purchase order from my first camper that I bought from Jerry in March and it was not required to place any deposit. Y did he insist on my deposit now of a much higher amount because he knew that the payment was going to be higher and they would not refund my deposit

We purchased an rv 2 weeks ago but we pick it up on 3/9. The first issue was that the battery for our brand new trailer was dead. 15 minutes after leaving the dealership we were on a major highway (rt 95) and we almost lost control of the vehicle. Then we noticed people telling us to pull over. Once we did we realized that half of the undercarriage panels had ripped off and pulled all the plumbing off of the frame. We called the dealership and they sent someone out to us. It took 45 minutes. When they showed up and saw what happened we asked them to take responsibility for it because we felt unsafe being on the shoulder of the highway. We knew we couldn't tow it any further. We were told that they weren't going to send a tow truck out and if we dropped the trailer and left that they were just going to leave it there. After another half hour the guy finally said to disconnect the trailer. At that point he got in his car and left us there to wait for a tow truck.

We recently spoke on the phone in reference to repairs needed to our Forest City Villa, Model 40FDEN, V.I.N.: ***XXXXXX, purchased for $40,000 July 12. Upon purchasing the recreational vehicle, we explained there were orange spots all over the gray vinyl flooring. They wrote this on the paper work and assured us it would be taken care of. The finance manager upon purchase agreed and wrote on the paper work since the unit was so big, 42 foot long and it was to be in a stationary location, that we wouldn't have to bring it in for inspection, it would be done mobile. After having the recreational vehicle for a several months, wind tore the awning from the recreational vehicle. A representative from Giant Recreation World (Jim) came out and explained the wind caught it. He was also shown the cracked hood vent damaged (I replaced) in the bathroom, windows leaking and the mildew in the wall and floors from the defective windows. We assumed this was our yearly inspection.

I believe the key fob (not the key) is not the Ford Factory FOB that was suppose to come with my new Class C Motorhome
I believe the key fob (not the key) is not the Ford Factory FOB that was suppose to come with my new Class C Motorhome. According to the new Ford Vehicle manual this is a non-approved item the could result in voided warranty, injury or death. This aftermarket Fob does not even do what it was intended to do. I have had a few issues with the dealer during and after the sale but I believe they have been resolved and I understand nothing goes perfect or according to plan but this issue is hard to understand. If they lost the factory FOBs than they should have worked with Ford to replace them. (Not sure how you lose Fobs without losing the keys too as they come on the same rings but strange things do happen. In any case I understand the dealer has issues with employees and vendors that may put them in a catch 22. I have notified the sales representative and just want to document that I want the problem solved before any Warranty, Injury, Death or Criminal problems arise. Best Regards, MTK

We bought a 2021 Forest River Prism Elite 24FSE on November 11. The RV as delivered proved to be unusable. We bought a 2021Forest River Prism Elite 24FSE on Nov 11, 2020. It proved to be unusable as delivered and we returned it to the dealer by Nov 18. The dealer was too busy to even begin servicing the RV until Jan 15, 2021 at which time it fixed one of the major problems (slider) but as of Feb 18, 2021 still has done nothing about the non-operable refrigerator. Service department personnel are nice people but they are overworked, over scheduled, and their competence is questionable as they seem to have inadequate interest in telling us the problem with the refrigerator, have made no discernable effort to fix it, and seem indifferent to the fact that we cannot use our RV. We worry that warranties will expire while the RV is unusable. We give the company lowest possible marks for selling us a defective product and making inadequate effort to repair the product. We want to use our motorhome but if it is not made operable very soon, we want our moneh back.

We purchases a brand new 2021 Coachmen Sportscoach 365 RB from Giant Rec World in Winter Garden Florida. Since owning the coach it has been on their lot for service 4 of the 10 months in owning. Purchased on Feb. 26th. We notified them on March 6th for 24 order items that needed to be fixed. When picked unit up wtih 7 items fixed after having it in repair for several months, Then returned unit as parts were in and to be fixed. November 3rd the unit was back in for the 17 service items that were not done previously. In addition to a generator that would not work while traveling, still a bathroom leak that was causing floor board and floor damage, and a huge issue with wiring of fridge that could of caused an rv fire. We checked in on unit on January 5th for pick up. Service was closed. We walked outside of the unit to see that all outside repairs were not done. This is absolutelely rididclous that the rv that is brand new is not being serviced. We have asked for the issues to be repaired and continue to get the run around. This unit was brand new with warranty that was purchased.

Company will not answer questions about a refund check nor will they send us a refund check. We originally purchased a camper and warranty through this company. We sold that camper in December to purchase another camper from a different vendor. We had requested a refund check for the unused warranty on several occasions and the company gave us the runaround pretending that they didn't issue the check. Then they told us a month later that they could issue a check. Two months after we sold the camper they claim they sent a check, but they sent it to our old address that we specially said not to send it to. We moved to a new home and gave them the new address prior to them sending a check. We had to contact them every time to get any information. Ever since then it's been a game of why we didn't purchase from them again and they can't see anything about the check. They know it has not been cashed so they could very easily cancel the check and send us a new one to the correct address. Just called them today and they told us that they can't see anything and don't know anything. The finance manager has done very little to look into the situation or to correct it. This is going on 4 months after we have sold the camper.

2019 RV has water leak issues
2019 RV has water leak issues. We purchased one of their rental units last summer, a 2019 Leprechaun, and although we've had issues in the past, they pale in comparison to what we discovered last weekend. As we were leaving for a trip, an inordinate amount of water continuously drained from center of the metal trim on the underside of the front cabin on to the hood of the vehicle. This went on for a good 20-30 minutes. When we got to our destination two hours later, we inspected the underside of the cabin and when pressing in on the aluminum skin, you could feel that there was still water between the metal skin and the inside of the camper. At that point, we went into the camper itself and moved the foam mattress pad that is on top of the cabin to inspect the inside of the cabin wall only to find out that the foam mattress was soaked. Not only that, the wood platform that the mattress rests on is water stained black. Obviously, it had been leaking for a while. And, though we had never had a reason to move the mattress in the 13 months we've had the camper, we now discovered that the inside corner had been caulked in an effort to stop any leaking. It became obvious to us that the front corner of the camper was damaged at some point prior to our ownership. Prior to us purchasing this RV, it was used by the dealership as a rental unit. Therefore, it was always under your care and ownership and someone no doubt knew about this previous damage, and the attempt to repair it, and never made any effort to disclose it during our sales process. Our big concern is this damage ultimately affects the value of the RV and any future transactions that we may be involved in with this vehicle. We feel the minimum of a fair and equitable resolution is for the dealer to fix the issue and provide a warranty for that work.

I was sold a "New" camper that we discovered had damage repaired
I was sold a "New" camper that we discovered had damage repaired. This issue has yet to be resolved. In February, I purchased a brand new (never used) Salem Platinum camper from Giant Rec in Winter Garden. This was our families first purchase. After trailering the the camper home, we discovered some cracking, which led us to the discovery of a repair job that was done to the camper. after weeks of contacting both, the dealership and the manufacturer, neither party took claims to the damage. Neither have a record of any type of repair work on this unit. Eventually, I was contacted by a rep from the dealership, stating they would replace my camper by the end of April. I was told by a manger, Bartow was his name, via email (I have the email) that they would swap my damaged unit for a new 2021 unit. With the Pandemic, I let time pass by thinking they were struggling but apparently that was not the case. Business proceeded for them but still no attempt to replace the camper. Eventually I stopped by and spoke with another manager, James, because communication was zero, and he stated that all 3 managers (Bartow, Dennis, James) would be meeting the next day and would definitely give me an update then (Monday). 2 weeks later, I called them back, visited the location to find they 2 brand new models they mentioned they would trade for. They never called me. I found out by going there on my own. Very rude service from one particular manager. After discussing a swap, I emailed a week later for an update, only for the manager to say that the bank (Bank of the West) will take 6-8 weeks to review the substitution. So... Here I am, still with a damaged camper and horrible customer service. I have made all payments with no issues on my end. I am being put off because they do not have a solution. I need this resolved.
