GolfNow Getting double charged for golf

Hi, Lynnwood, Washington and I booked a tee time at 11:34 Monday, 5/27 at Dobson Ranch golf in Phoenix, AZ. I booked for 2 players and just 2 played. Looks like I got charged for 2 additional players. Just my friend and I played. The gentleman in the club house and the marshal on the course knew there were just 2 of us. Is there a way you can refund me the 2nd twosome charge?

Accidentally booked a hot deal for the wrong day, hit the wrong date on cell phone calender, missed it by one day and within 1 minute trying to contact golfnow to speak to somebody to change it real quick so they could relist the tee time and I wouldn't get charged, wasted 20 minutes trying to find someway to speak to anybody but no success and by the time I got back to book the right day the hot deal was gone. I have remove the app from my phone and have posted a flyer at the club that golf now sucks and should not be used when booking any tee times until they get 99% better on their customer service end first. Use it at your own risk because there is no support if you have a problem.

GolfNow Double charge

On 5/15/19 I booked a tee time for 3 golfers $178.47. 11:49 tee time
On 5/20/19 I cancelled the tee time for 3 golfers $178.47 11:49 tee time at 11:41am
On 5/20/19 at 11:43 I re-booked the tee time for 4 golfers $209.96 11:41 tee time

I was charged for both bookings on my credit card. After complaining they offered a coupon for a future booking.

They need to credit my credit card. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card.

GolfNow Customer service

This is regarding reservation #[protected].

I went to the golf course to find it closed. I called to request a refund and was told I would have to call back the next day because they could not speak to someone, since the course was closed, even though they tried 3 times, and nobody was there - of course, since the course was closed. I asked for a supervisor, and spoke to Michael in Orlando, who repeated the same information to me.

I do not want to call back the next day, since I will be working for the next several days - so I suggested he call the city of Sapulpa to verify the course is closed. It is a municipal course. Michael called the number I provided him, then he reached a phone menu, and refused to select any option to find someone to verify that the course was closed. He said one of the options was a court clerk and I said certainly they could put you in touch with someone who could verify, but he said that he would not try them. He was not even willing to push 0 for an operator. I said that this was unsatisfactory customer service, as he was not willing to make a simple effort so that I wouldn't have to call back -- since the course is closed now, and the only way to verify is through the city. He was unwilling to do so, and did not waver when I said I would file a complaint.

This is really poor customer service, in my opinion. I am considering going to social media to share this experience with Golf Now's customer service, and how they told me to call back the next day, since the course was closed, to get a refund for the course being closed, as well as the supervisor being unwilling to contact the city to confirm.

GolfNow Refund issues - software

Golf now charged my credit card for four golfers saturday may 11th, 12 noon est tee time at richter park in ct., despite their website allowing me to cancel to two. The original terms said hot deal no cancellations, but the website allowed me to cancel, a violation of terms, I paid for four, could only bring two golfers and the course sold the other two. I want a refund for 2 golfers, I tried multiple times to resolve with golf now in advance and the management was disinterested. Thank you

GolfNow Unauthorized debit card charges.

I never agreed to pay for the "GolfPass" membership, nor did I want it. I didn't even know about this "GolfPass", yet I was charged $99 for it. I found out about it once it reached my email. I had to check my bank account to ensure money was taken out, which it was. It said I paid for a membership on May 12. Also, it says my username is "Lawrence8216370." I would like a refund for this, for I never agreed to pay for it. I'll leave my phone number on my account, but I would like my account removed from this website. I would like some answers because I have no recollection of making this account. As of right now, I have removed my personal information and debit card. I left my phone number and name if you have any questions for me.

GolfNow A tee time and service charge.

I booked a tee time on your website. I went to the course at the appointed time and was told they have no tee time under that name via your website. I assumed that the tee time didn't go thru because I was not charged for a round I didn't play and the course said they didn't see my name listed on their computers. I need to have my green fee refunded to my account based on this information. This is unacceptable! There is no reason for me to be charged a week later for a round of golf I never got to play.

GolfNow Reservation cancelled due to dangerous storms - charged anyway!

I had booked a threesome at a course called Broad Run, 3 or 4 days prior to the tee time. 36 - 48 hours prior to the tee time I see that there will be dangerous storms with lightning, hail etc in the area so I cancel on the app. I cancelled on the app and I get an email showing me its cancelled. I was still charged the full amount even after speaking directly to the golf course. I was unable to ever reach anyone directly from golfnow. This is horrible customer service and I feel cheated.
If anyone has an idea on how to contact anyone directly on the phone please leave a comment. Thanks

GolfNow Online reservation

If I could give GolfNow a zero star rating I would.

Their business practice is not to give refunds period. Regardless if you made a mistake or you were hit by a natural disaster on the way to course.

I recently played at La Quinta several weeks back. My first day I simply went to the course and booked with the pro shop. The round was actually less expensive.

My second day I wanted to try a different course so I booked a highly rated course in Sun City for $25.

I later realized it was a Par 3 executive course which I do not play.

I started the painless process of trying to cancel the reservation via their customer service number. The waits were estimated to be 2 plus hours.

I fired off a email to customer service and I get a reply back confirming my cancellation about 30 minutes after.

Since I was reassured that my reservation was cancelled I proceeded to make another reservation for La Quinta Dunes.

Well here we are 3 weeks later and
GolfNow pocketed the full amount for both reservations and in addition they added the $2.49 handling fee.

GolfNow Coupon code redemption issue

I called yesterday as I tried using one of my coupon codes. By the way, every time I have tried to use one of these, I have ended up having to call GolfNow to redeem it. It just shouldn't be that hard.

I spoke with Robin. After being on hold with her twice, she came back and said if I would just pay them, they would credit me back for the round. I told her that didn't seem right at all. I asked her for resolution on that code. I ended up using another code for the round.

Robin promised me to straighten it out and follow up with me and call back. Of course, she did not call back.

I think this is bad customer service and was handled poorly. Please let me know what I should do differently as I don't think GolfNow handled this professionally at all.

GolfNow Golf pass

Having been a vip member with golfnow for 2 years and grandfathered in at $99 annually, I was surprised to receive an email stating that $199 would automatically be deducted from my credit card in may. I received this email approx a month ago, and of course I called the vip customer service number to inquire what was with the increase since I was grandfathered in for the $99. I was told the vip was no longer and had been replaced by this golf pass, and he went on to inform me of all the added benefits that came with it. I was perfectly satisfied with the vip program as it met everything I needed through golfnow. All these so called added benefits mean absolutely nothing to me at my age and could care less about them. All I wanted golfnow to do for me was help[ me get teetimes, and being a vip a couple of added benefits. Bring back the vip program for golfers like me who don't need or want the extras this golf pass brings. If someone wants, or needs the perks of the golf pass for the $199 give it to them. Reinstate the vip especially for those of us who were grandfatherd in at the $99.in other words have two separate plans which seems to me would benefit your loyal customers as well as golfnow.

GolfNow Customer service

GolfNow customer service phone number is not listed on the GolfNow website. I found the number by searching Google for it. When I called in, it said that the wait time is 3 hours! I don't believe I have ever heard a wait time for any business to be 3 hours. From reading other complaints filed on this site, it seems to be common.

I wanted to find out how much credit I have on my account. That is not indicated anywhere under our profile. Unfortunately, I traded in a golf club under their program. I don't believe I will be able to use any of that money.

GolfNow vip membership

Signed up for their VIP membership the first year it was offered @ $99 per year, it waived the "Booking fees" and allowed you to earn rewards points at a faster pace, the next year they raised the price for a VIP membership to $199 but if you were on the auto renewal like I was you were grandfathered in with the $99 rate minus a few of the perks promised to the one's paying $199 (dozen free golf balls and some reward play), that year they changed earning rewards points to reflect how much you were paying for the rounds you were booking plus only allowed you to redeem your "reward" ($10 off a round) 3 days in advance when the rates were artificially high making them almost worthless.
Well this year I get an email stating that the Golfnow VIP membership was being changed to Golfpass+ at the $199 per year rate, they added some other useless perks like discounts on grossly overpriced goods and services that no one wants. I checked my golfnow account and sure enough the $199 payment was scheduled to go thru on April 1, 2019 so I called the Golfnow VIP service line and actually has to wait a while on hold before getting to talk to some airhead that remarked I was the only one complaining about this absurd hike in the rate, told them to shove it and I'm done with them. Guess you could follow the chain and figure out where this "greed" comes from. Golfnow is owned by the Golf channel which is owned by NBC which is owned by Comcast.

GolfNow Customer service

Hello im Robert DeWitt. Im probably one or the most top customers at golfnow. For over a month i had a lot of rewards on my dashboard. Up to today it says that i have 13 rewards. But when i went to go use them today the customer service rep said i only had 5 rewards because they for some reason didnt erase the rewards i used a month and a half ago. I thought because i book so many rounds that maybe i got the rewards pretty quick since im a VIP member. It was totally misleading and dissapointing. Like i said i usually book over 120 rounds or more a year

GolfNow Double billed

booked a hot deal for next day using their iPhone app. noticed 3 pending charges on my credit card next day. days later, two of the charges went through and one is still pending. couldn't find any support email or way to contact golfnow through the app/website. will have to contact my CC cust svc to have them remove the duplicate charges. all in all, terrible service.

GolfNow Tee time booking

I booked a tee time on a Wednesday for a Saturday morning tee time. Got the confirmation and everything was set. Our tee time was for 8:48. Found out at 8a.m. Saturday morning that our tee time was cancelled . The golf course never got it. One of our foursome was already there, the other 3 on the way. When I called to inquire how something like this could happen, I was told" we are a technology company, we don't actually talk to the course".
Never again will I use this company. Also, I will tell every golfer and member of our country club not to use golf now either.
Unacceptable.
