Golfnow not applying credits
Had a credit from a previous tee time that was canceled. Was booking another tee time and it showed the balance that I would be charged for the tee time which included the deduction for the credit. After pressing confirm, it showed the amount that I am being charged as the amount without the credit. Of course you can't get hold of anyone on the phone to correct the issue. I used to recommend GolfNow, but will never recommend them again.
Refunds
I have been using Golf-Now for years and had people get on it. I looked up a t-time and usually you pay a dollar amount and not the full. It took $150 out of my bank and my friend di the same and they charged him $14 for the same. I then called and they said there is no refund buy I will get emails on deals Monday -Thursday. The one I cancelled was for Friday.. This is a joke and that guys that answer the phone have no customer service.. Use this company! BEWARE!

Booked a hot deal 8th September 2018 at Champions gate international 7th December 2018 and paid in full.A few days later received a E-mail from Brett at golf now saying we are reaching out to you and due to a previously scheduled outing your tee time cannot be accommodated at this time and we are cancelling it, I had already received confirmation.(someone has obviously messed up at golf now) To make matters worse they took payment from my credit card and then refunded it at an inferior exchange rate.The result is I have paid a small fee for their mess Up!I cannot contact anyone as per the other complaints as customer care is non existent.If I had tried to cancel an hot deal they would have taken it in full, but when the boot is on the other foot and they cancel I still end up out of pocket.I am obviously not very happy but don't hold out much hope, Paul United Kingdom.

My name is Barry Gonsalves. I use your website to book tee times, etc, & I've accumulated 7 Rewards to use for Hot deals, etc. I just made a tee time this past Monday 9/3/2018 for The Hooch Golf Club in GA, & I applied all of my deals, yet, only 1 was applied to my fee. I'd like to know why, & why are all of my rewards now showing as used, yet only 1 was applied to me fee?!?
Use of promo code, issues, and support
A recent example of the initial issue is the set of "conditions" for a promo that are either not obvious or are non-existent regarding EARN20 as a single use promo. This is the 1st one I have experienced that is singular use. Not knowing that, I continued trying to book a 2nd tee time but got "Invalid Promo Code" messages ad nauseum over a 4 day period. When I called support to ask for help, the service rep did not listen to the issue but rather spouted how promo codes are used - a process with which I am familiar.
Efforts to find a supervisor are time-consuming with long waits online or simply don't work. When I did get a "supervisor", I was told that "the message was a poor choice of words by marketing."
Searching for an email address is fruitless. This is as close as I have gotten to something other than a tightly controlled call center.
I have enjoyed the use of GolfNow when it works and I have saved money but it can be very frustrating when it doesn't and then add insult to injury with a call center that seems distracted, ill-informed or not invested.
Service
I had to cancel a tee off time due to illness. I called the golf course 2days prior to my tee off they informed me I would have to pay convenience charge which I fully understood it was a June 15 tee time at Perth golf course act number [protected]. To date have not recd a credit. I am a faithful user of the device but find it extremely frustrating in getting ahold of a live person to discuss this. Very frustrating! Can someone explain to me why I haven't recd a refund. This has now been 6 weeks. Regards Chuck Easton
Golfnow reservation charge
Dear Customer Care Team,
I have been notified that Eagle Trace Golf Club notified you that I did not arrive at the course for your scheduled tee time on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. I understand that they are requesting that you collect the green fees for no-show tee time reservations.
I am disputing this allegation because I played the round of golf. My golf partner Mr. Lamont Humber came in and paid for my round for the 7:43am tee time. We had a 3rd person Mr. Earl Hamilton who played with us as well. I did not go inside of the clubhouse because my fee was paid prior to me arriving at the course. I gave the starter my receipt because we could not start or ride in a cart without it. We completed the round at 12 noon. Also, Eagle Trace can check the log at the West Guard gate to see that I was in the community and at the course.
Therefore, the charge of $39.22 should not be charged to my credit card. I look forward to a response regarding the non charge.
Customer service/fraudulent charges
GolfNow booked a wrong tee time for me. Called to have them change it for me or issue me a refund. The customer service agent Robin was of no help and said she would pass my info to her supervisor and contact me. Heard nothing from golf now. Called the next day and a customer service agent named William told me the supervisor was in a meeting. Still have not hear back from golf now. Initiated fraudulent charges through my bank. Maybe now someone from golf now will contact me. Horrible company with even worse customer service. William is a straight up LIAR!
Canceled reservations
I made a tee time through GolfNow for Gatlinburg GC in Tenn. for today at 11:20 AM. My Confirmation # was: [protected]. I called the Golf Course to cancel my reservation for today, the call was made on Friday 6/22/18 late morning. I found out through the golf course that I had to go through you to get my debit card credited back. Now I find out that its not refundable since the course is open. I had a emergency at home and was not able to make it to Gatlinburg for our vacation, and had to cancel the hotel as well. I would like my debit care credited back to my Checking Account.

On Saturday, I tried to book a tee time for Sunday August 19 at Salt Creek in Wood dale, Il. The tee times displayed and I booked my time. Upon receipt of my confirmation, I realized my tee time was booked at a Salt Creek in Ontario. Somehow I was redirected to this course. I called and canceled my reservations but could not find a way to contact Golfnow.
After my dilemma on the same day, August 18, 2018, my son used Golfnow to book a tee time for Sunday and when we arrived at the course they didn't have any reservations for us. It cost each golfer an extra $5 to play.
How is Golfnow going to deal with these issues? A reputable company would refund the extra money we paid and refund the upfront fee.

On June 14th I received notice (e-mail) from Golf Now that I was being charged for not showing up for a tee time at Jack Frost National Golf Course on May 17th.
I used the Golf Now Mobile App to make a reservation on May 17th at Jack Frost National golf course. After making the reservation I realized I had made the reservation for the wrong day. I made the reservation for May 17, when our intended play date was May 24th. Since one of my playing partners had already made a reservation at Jack Frost for our group to play on May 24th without my knowledge, I contacted Jack Frost to cancel the reservation, since it was a pay at the course reservation.
I contacted Jack Frost and explained the situation. They were very amenable, since A) it was raining and B) we were over a 90 minute drive away, we could not have made the tee time anyway. I was informed that the tee time reservation was cancelled, but that I would most likely have to pay the Golf Now fees. I said that was fine.
So I was quite surprised to received the e-mail indicating my credit card was going to be charged ~$104 for a "no show". I contacted Jack Frost pro shop today and spoke to "Dylan". He confirmed that we did not play on the 17th and that our reservation had been cancelled, but he could not do anything related to the charge from Golf Now. He said he would be glad to speak to anyone at Golf Now to confirm we did not play.
I have disputed/denied this charge with my Costco Citibank Visa, and am now asking you to contact Jack Frost [protected]) and confirm with Dylan and please cancel the ~$104 charge.

Tee time booking
My name is Michael Ochse, I've been using GolfNow for plenty of years with no issues but this week was different. A group of us are trying to put together a few times on 4th of July so we booked several tee times at Black Bear Golf Course located in Franklin, NJ. Somehow, two of us booked the same tee time (6:48) which caused tons of confusion. The following day, we both received notifications from the course saying thank you for submitting your cancellation and now we were forced to pay the higher price booking directly through the course. GolfNow has been very good to me over the years, but I'm curious how a tee time can be book twice after a confirmation number is generated. Now that we both had to book through the course directly, we are paying roughly $100 more to play there. I was hoping that I can be credited somehow on my GolfNow account for this inconvenience. Anything that can be done would be greatly appreciated!

Took payment twice off me for same course
I booked a round in city West golf course for three golfers when I confirmed it the page said error not processed so booked again and it went through but was charged twice as a result the tee time was for 3.32 and wasn't processed but I was charged booked again for 3.24 and was charged aswell I would like this issue to be resolved as it was not my mistake the page said error not processed but I was still charged anyway
Cannot reach customer service to get a refund on a gift card.
My daughter gave me a $50 gift card for Golfnow for Mother's Day. The gift card is only good for Hot Deals and those are too late in the day for me or anyone else I would like to play with. Way too hot! I told my daughter I would get her refunded. It is their written policy that a refund is available if the card is never used and the refund is requested within 10 months and the original email receipt is shown. We meet all of that criteria but can't get through to anyone. Everytime I call it is a 3 hour wait time! So I emailed 2 weeks ago got a rebo response saying they are working on my problem and will get back to me. But gave me no time frame. I don't understand how they are in business with this total lack of concern for their customers!
GolfNow is a waste of time and money. I let my VIP membership expire because several tee times I booked ..the tee time was canceled by GolfNow for no reason or explanation. When I got to the course...90 minute drive...they told me the reservation was canceled for no reason whatsoever by GolfNow. Fortunately, they were able to get us on...but WHAT A HASSLE...this isnt the first time this has happened.
I have booked 31 rounds with GolfNow this past 18 months and I have a ton of missing reservation points. I played every round...and the rewards ..the hot round discounts...JOKE...you have to be retired to take advantage of the middle of the day rounds offered.
Save your money...the VIP membership isnt worth it. Its a joke!
Booking cancelled and was still charged
I booked a tee time online., and cancelled it within 5'minutes... yet my account was charged!... Called, 1 hour wait!... I want my money back!... I have waste so much time looking for an email, a selection of contact numbers... and of course the golf course cannot do anything about it... oh yes, and PayPal... I suspect I won't get a response... go figure

Amen brother. I just went through almost the identical thing with golfnow. I hit submit accidentally. then clicked on cancel. well, they are just canceling or "processing" the cancel for you! did you get that "processing the cancellation." then it says that you are not going to be able to recover the convenience fees. im fine with that. but they should refund the greens fees. I don't care if it's a hotdeal or not. people make mistakes. I went to cancel this immediately. called golfnow customer service. three hour wait times the recording cheerfully states. it's delay tactic slimy old business practices. it's no surprise that comcast now owns them and are behind this garbage.
Sooooo, if you want to get your money back. dispute it with you credit card/debit card bank. I did and I got my money back for now pending the outcome of the dispute which can take 10 days. my bank immediately gave me temp relief and issued what's called a "card claim provisional credit"

How do I get in touch with you people?!?! No email address! I call and get an automated message there is a 58 minute wait. At 3 PM on a Tuesday?! I used Twitter. Took over a day to get a response and then was told they would pass along my issues to someone. Never heard another word. That was weeks ago. Typical Comcast owned company. Take your customers money and then run and hide. Your website has problems when using a PC. You can't change the filters, (distance, etc.), and then research. It always defaults back to 25 miles.
I agree. Now I can't order tee times or hot deal through the app or web golfnow.com. Tried for days to reach them. But 30 min waiting time. I can't use Golnow that, was so good in the past, anymore. Try with teeoff app.
The service at Golf Now is nonexistent! sometimes you have to cancel a tee time, mine was due to the weather I don't like playing in the rain if I don't have too. I can understand keeping the booking fee, but not refunding the green fee is Wrong! at least give Hot Deal coupons or refund the money! Golf Now had good service when they first started That's Gone!
Cancellations/customer service
I booked a tee time for 2 players at the Black Gold golf course for 12/27/2017. This was a Hot Deal which required payment in full. A couple days prior I had to cancel due to a family emergency. I reread the terms and conditions which stated that hot deals were not refundable unless I was a VIP member. I was hoping I could at least receive a credit to my account towards a future round of golf. I attempted to call GolfNow but was never able to reach a representative. I left my call back number three separate times but never received a call back.
I feel my loyalty as a customer was not honored as I was unable to reasonably contact a GolfNow representative to address my circumstances. I would like either a refund or a credit to my account for the $142.98 GolfNow collected for my reservation #[protected].
I have not used golfnow membership this year except one time when I booked tee time at local golf course. I recently found that Golfnowgolfpass had charged me $199.00 through my Visa account. I just got information from my bank that they can not help me because I never cancel VIP menbership this year. I thought that membership is annual membership and I have never been informed by golfnow on my membership charge.
I need an explanation by golfnow and like to cancel any membership immediatly.

I just got off the phone talking to Eric Barbara and after maybe 4-5 request i was just told NO each time.
I've been a member for a while and unfortunately on of my credits expired. I the current credits could not be used retroactively, I could not talk to a supervisor, he would take my complaint because there was no other way to complain.
I had was force him to tell me that i could use all my credits at once, and on and on with lots of NO...NO...NO ...NO
Very bad experience with golfnow
I was searching for a gift for my father on his birthday and since he always was a big fan of golf I decided that a golf game would make a perfect present.
I found GolfNow website and booked a game. My father was really happy and excited, but because of GolfNow everything went down the hill.
They cancelled my fathers game without telling us. Of course their rep said that they have sent us a notification, but we did not receive anything.
I wanted to make my father happy but their ruined everything!
I will never use GolfNow again and would not recommend them to anyone. Please keep that in mind and don't take the risk, especially if you are planning to make a gift or something.
Cancelled our booking
My company was planning to play some gold on the weekend so we went online and found GolfNow website. Wee booked a tee time and paid in advance.
Two days before the game we were contacted by GolfNow and told that our booking was cancelled. They said we'll get our money back as soon as possible. They were not able to give us reasonable explanation why did they cancel our booking, but weekend was 100% ruined.
We did get our money back, but still we will never use GolfNow service ever again!

Good rates since courses give them free tee time for advertising the course but read the fine print. We booked a foursome and the day we were to play my back spased out. 3 of our group played. i called before the tee time and asked for a credit for 1 fee. No way they said. Then when our 3 some showed up they were stuck behind a tournament. They quit 5 hours and11. Holes into the round. Save yourself the trouble call the course direct and talk to the prospect. This outfit stins.

Waste of time! Call your pro shop and book it yourself or you will not get your tee time as advertised and they take your money on HOT DEALS but they don't reserve your tee time. Happened to me numerous times and I end up on the phone with them for 20-30 minutes with no resolution just frustration.
These brilliant idiots don't tell when a courses greens has been aerated until after the purchase and guess what "No Refunds" - I complained to them and their response was akin to flipping me off. Save your money book your own tee times.
They sold me a tee time. I drive an hour one way to get there. The course is closed for a tournament. I call customer service to complain. I get a very rude customer service rep. My situation is unresolved and would recommend that you stay away from doing business with these people.
