GoodLife Fitness review: Contract renewal

Hi, my name is Paul Collins member 17p5293. I have had a terrible medical experience from March 2024 till December 2024.In that time span my wife on my direction has placed my contract on hold and cancellation, (This action coming from advice from my first hospital Doctor). A second Hospital Doctor reversed that decision about a month later and thought the gym would be a good thing. My problem is that my original contract of $16.99 bi- weekly since April 2010 (classes included) has been Increased to 32.99 plus tax (no classes) under the current contract.
I have talked to someone at head office and Peterborough office (Kelli) and they have the same remark. Once you cancel a contract, you must sign up at the current price. I feel special consideration should be taken because everything was done with health reasons in mind and in hindsight I would have kept my contract on hold.
