Absolutely horrible service
Absolutely horrible service. Wish this wasn't our only option, but unfortunately they have us handcuffed! No trash service for 2 weeks and they refuse to give us a credit. Essentially, we're paying someone's salary for them NOT to do their job!

Paying for weekly trash pick-up doesn't mean you'll get it every week. I talked to someone at Grace Hauling today. Our usual trash pick-up day is Wednesday. We had bad weather on Wednesday. Today is Friday. They ain't picking up our trash this week and ain't giving us a credit on our bill. We pay for once-a-week trash pick-up. If they can't do it this week, they should give us a credit on our bill. If you wanna sign up for new trash service, check out the other hauling service's policy before you choose Grace Hauling.

I'm really disappointed with Grace Hauling Inc
I'm really disappointed with Grace Hauling Inc. They didn't pick up our trash like they were supposed to on a weekly basis. I pay for their service every week, but during the week of February 4th, they didn't show up. They were on a snow schedule, so I understand there might have been a delay of a day or two. However, everyone else in the neighborhood had their trash picked up except for us. When I called to complain, the person I spoke to didn't seem to care. She just said that it's too bad and they'll pick it up next week. I asked if I could get a refund for the missed week, but she flat out refused.

Grace hauling is a trash company. The last 2 weeks we had the icy snow weather which caused our trash not to be picked up. Calls were made about crediting accounts when pick up wasn't done. We were told no credits will be issued due to weather. We pay for pick up and when weather is an issue, customers are required to still pay but services aren't done. Our neighborhood had 2 weeks with no pick up but no credits will be issued. If no pick up, we shouldn't be charged when we pay for pick up service but pick up service wasn't done.

I moved into Pin Oak Park in November. Trash is included in rent. I moved out in February 2022 and received a bill for $45.00 from Grace Hauling. I called them and they said I had an extra trash can and owed $45.00. Now, I'm only one person and I rented a place where trash was included in rent. Why would I buy another trash can? I told Grace Hauling this, but the lady was very rude and insisted that I did have an extra trash can and needed to pay. Now it's on my credit report and I want it taken care of immediately. It's kind of funny that I only owe $45 after over a year of having a second trash can that I never had.

Becuz of the weather in our area last week, the trash guys from Grace Hauling Inc couldn't finish their job, or so they say. So, I called 'em up and asked for a credit on my bill or an extra day of trash pick-up. The person I talked to at their office said no to both options and told me to just give 'em double the trash next week and they'll take care of it. But here's the thing, I already paid for trash service last week and didn't get it 'cause of the weather. I get it, but since I didn't get what I paid for, I should get compensated with an extra day of trash pick-up or a credit on my bill for that day they missed.

I sold my house and contacted Grace last week to cancel our trash service. They said my last trash pickup would be on 9/28 and to put out my bin on 9/29 for them to take away. They also said I could fill the bin with trash. On Wednesday morning (9/29), I put out my bin full of trash, but they didn't pick it up. I called to ask why, and they said the new homeowners would use Grace, so they didn't need to take the bin. If I wanted the bin emptied before the next scheduled pickup, I had to pay $40. They never told me that if the new homeowners used Grace, they wouldn't pick up the bin. I want them to keep their word and take the bin without charging me for a special pickup fee.

He realized that I'm not a customer and tried to back into an area of my property that couldn't support a 60,000 pound truck to turn around, and it got stuck in the mud up to the axles. Another truck came to help and while pulling him out, it caused more damage to my driveway and yard. This all happened on February 24. I don't think it's too much to ask for them to bring in a skid steer and level out my gravel driveway, as well as throw down some gravel to fix what they caused, so it can go back to how it was before. I've called them more than 20 times, and every time they say "it'll be fixed this week," but no one ever shows up or calls me to say there's a problem. I just want my property to be returned to its original condition. Is that too much to ask? The owners say they're god-fearing Christians, so I hope they do the right thing.

In February and March , Grace Hauling Inc let me down big time. I had already paid in advance for their so-called WEEKLY trash pick up service, but they failed to deliver. Can you believe it? Three times they didn't even bother to show up and collect our trash, and it wasn't just us - they neglected the whole area. When I called to find out why, they had the audacity to blame it on the weather. Seriously? On one occasion, there was still a bit of snow on the roads, but by the next day, everything was clear. Yet, Grace Hauling decided they were too busy and conveniently skipped our pick-up that week. And it's not like the weather was even a valid excuse for the other two times. The "weather" happened well before our scheduled pick-up day (Monday), and the roads were perfectly fine for driving. But no, Grace Hauling chose to ignore us again, using the same tired excuse of bad weather (I think it's just because we live in the country and they don't want to make the effort). I called them up and asked for a refund or credit to our account, and they initially said they would give it to me. But guess what? They recently changed their tune and told me they don't do refunds for weather-related misses. Can you believe the nerve? I paid for a WEEKLY service, but I only got it once out of the three times I was supposed to. Absolutely ridiculous.

I was late on my payments to the trash service for April, May, and June. On July 3rd, I received a statement stating that I owed for those months. They said they wouldn't pick up my trash until I settled the bill. I paid the full amount on July 23 to bring the bill up to date. However, in August, they still hadn't picked up the trash. I waited until the end of the month because they pick it up twice a month. Then, around August 25, I received a bill stating that I owed for July and August. I called the company to ask why they were billing me for those months when they had already cut off service, but they didn't give me a good answer. So, I went to their office and asked why they were billing me for services I didn't receive. The office manager said she would look into it, but nothing ever happened. I continued taking my trash to work and disposing of it there because I have a dumpster from a different company. I hadn't heard anything from the company for a while. Then, around November 12, I received another letter stating that I owed for July, August, September, and October. They threatened to turn it over to collections if I didn't pay. I refuse to pay for services I didn't receive. They were the ones who discontinued my service on July 3, and now they want to bill me for services I didn't receive.
