hi, I am subscribed to Grammarly through the Gmail account [protected]@gmail.com. I bought Grammarly services for a month on 12 December. Grammarly has been continuously cutting money monthly from my account without asking my permission first. Grammarly is NOT supposed to cut money without asking me or emailing me first. I want my three months fees submitted as I was not even once notified using any sort of email. Moreover, I want to cancel any sort of association with this product and my account to be canceled. While buying Grammarly there was not a single mention that fees would be cut like this from my account. 29.9 US dollars were taken from my account on 12 december, 12 January, 12 February, 12 March while I signed up only from 12 December to 12 January

I have been looking at your ads on YouTube continuously for almost a year now. I might be exaggerating when I say 'a year' but I can assure you that it feels more like a lifetime. Your ads show up on every second video I watch and while I can appreciate the time and funds Grammarly is putting into their YouTube campaign, I do not appreciate being shown the same set of ads repeatedly - especially considering the fact that I already have Grammarly and have had it for the last 6 months! It makes no sense to bombard me with your ad and it becomes even more intolerable when it clashes disastrously with the nature of my YouTube video. I would expect that there would be some relationship between the nature of the video I am viewing and your product. But your ad continues to show up for all odd videos without any sense or sensibility. For the love of all that is sacred in the English language, I beg of you to review your campaign settings and optimize them before you indoctrinate more people with a strong sense of irritation towards your brand.

The imperative style of your commercials on youtube is intensely aggrevating. I've grown an immense hatred of anything related to the brand "grammarly", and so far, whence opinions are shared, I've encountered nothing but likeminded opinions about your commercials.
Whilst rationally, you seem to offer a decent service, personally I would recommend looking for a different advertising partner. I know no commercial which spoils my mood as badly as yours.

I write a lot, so I use Grammarly every day. It helps me type faster without stopping at every word and correcting it.
However, I have a small issue and I want you to help me to fix it.
I downloaded all of the offers you have, signed up to see my weekly report. But each time I use it, it signs me out. Every. Single. Day.
I contacted the service, they said they would call me back once they figure it out. But it's been 2 weeks and there's still no answer.
I tried to fix it by myself, thought that maybe I as doi something wrong, but no, everything is ok, options for me are not that wide.

Grammerly sent me an email that my email was changed to [protected]@protonmail.com.
I did not request this change. The password was then changed. This puts all of my credit card and personal info at risk. They will not answer the phone, I only get a message to contact support. Support just tells me they will get back with me in 48 hours. This is unacceptable. I am canceling all connection with Grammerly.

access to grammarly on another laptop
When I try to access the program on another laptop it will not connect. How do I fix the problem? On the laptop, it says that I am blocked out. I can access the program on my personal laptop. They didn't pick up a phone and kept leave a message the machine. I am so frustrated and wanted to talk with someone. They are so avoided! Because I wanted to talk to someone and give my money back. They keep said to comments to request. I was like what the hell... Is not help to me! They just comment, but they asked me a new account. I was like... Wtf, I never wanting to make a new account and I had been deleted my account. Because I am so tired of them aren't help and just been follow policy. That is not cool and they are so greedy the money and avoided from the phone which one that I wanted to talk with customer service! I am so grumpy and so frustrated with them aren't very helpful! They wanted money more, but I love grammarly, only problem contact and leave a message the machine!

I am extremely disappointed with Grammarly and their service.
When I found out about Grammarly I thought that it was super useful and decided to subscribe. I purchased premium pack and when I tried Grammarly I realized that it did not work.
For some reason I wasn't able to use it my Mac so I contacted their customer service and asked for advice. They said that they never had any issues with Mac computers and said that there was nothing they could do!
I demanded a full refund but they refused. What a garbage!
I had the same thing with the free version. I downloaded it twice about 6 month apart. (I thought maybe they had fixed the bugs by the second time). Each time it did the same thing. I would lock up my computer and freeze me out of what I was working on. I thought that maybe it would be better with the paid version, but why the heck would I send money to a company that couldn't have a working free version. They apparently just use all the money from the paid version to pay for their annoying commercials and not to improve their product. Both times that I uninstalled it from my computer, I told them that it didn't work. Anything that they say otherwise is wrong. They know it doesn't work on Macs, because you and I told them so.

I paid and then attempted to download the windows add on, sent a screen shot to them got a smug reply and then they close the ticket before waiting to see if it had fixed problem?! It did not! my Uni friends confirm using the Word add on makes Word open super slow. I could not get it to download so I gave up. I cancelled my subscription and am now waiting to see if they refund me, what a waste of time it removed ALL formatting from my document so I spent 2 hours making it correct again before I could submit... Don't waste your money, if you are from a non English speaking background it may be useful.

I used this program in the past and always had issues with it. It even made such a ridiculous mistakes that a human would never make!
But recently something terrible had happened. I had some of my documents saved in Grammarly but one day when I opened the program I saw that every data I had there was gone!
I tried to resolve the issue myself but there was no way I could get everything back! When I contacted customer service they said that there was nothing they could do. And that was it! They just said sorry and never did anything! They didn't even try to help me get my documents back and didn't give any advice what to do!
This program is not safe!
charging for a closed account
I payed for grammarly in November 2015 and cancelled my membership during that month. Since then I have received 3 charges for a monthly subscription despite the fact I can no longer use the service. When I log in I only have a free account so I don't understand why they continue to charge me. I am currently in university and thought that grammarly would be a useful tool for my assignments but it is in fact a financial strain and creating alot of stress.

I wanted to check out Grammarly.com - the online grammar checker. I opted for a 1 month only plan. So I was to be charged about USD 20/- for that. Little did I realize that in the reams of fine print they state that despite you choosing a 1-month only plan, they enroll you and keep charging you beyond the month. I called & mailed, but no one returns the calls. The customer service always goes to an answering machine and the sole message I got was a standard blah blah about how Grammarly.com keeps billing to ensure uninterrupted service ; this despite you requesting a 1 month only plan! I resigned myself to the scam and closed my account pronto. Now the account is closed but I am still being charged. This is the 3 rd months now! Again calls/support queries are not answered.
When I saw the above complaint, it recognize I am not alone! This is a scam by Grammerly.com What a ripoff!

I was working on a project and decided to use Grammarly. At first, when I bought Grammarly, it worked great and helped me a lot. But two weeks later the program crashed and all I had was a screen that sad it's loading. Then I had some password issues. When I tried to enter my password there was an error. I emailed customer support, but they seemed to ignore my issues. I also tried to call, but there was no answer. Later they took some money from my account and I don't even know what for. I'm definitely cancelling my subscription, because it is very difficult to deal with a company which does not respect their clients.

I have tried over and over to cancel, its impossible! I accidentally signed up for 2 subscriptions, I had been cramming for 2 days straight... I have called several times, no one has ever answered the phone. You get a message that if you do what it tells you is really no help. You go to website and follow the instructions, that even a bigger joke! I am wondering if they have ever been looked to by the Better Business Bureau of California.

I originally joined this for the free trial and it worked ok but I quickly found out that my online school offered similar for free so I called the number provided and received a voice mail telling me to login and cancelled my subscription or to send them an email at support @grammarly.com. Being overly cautious, I did bother h. This was six months ago and I'm still being charged 59.99 a month for this service. I've tried calling but can't get a real person. Always a recording. I send multiple emails and nothing. This is a horrible site to deal with.

Grammarly commits false advertising practices. They say you can cancel your subscription during the trial period but they do not live up to that.
I decided to try Grammarly based upon their website and the offer therein. However, when I tried it I discovered that their service is not compatible with a MAC. I wrote to them and pointed out that this conflict is not mentioned on their website. This is a major problem and no one using a MAC would want a service that is incompatible with their system. I then went to cancel my service. It is required to pay for Grammarly in order to try it, but their site says one can cancel during the trial period. When I attempted to cancel my service on the 6th day I followed the procedure on the Grammarly website for "how to cancel". When I did so there was no option for canceling during the trial period. If I clicked "Cancel" it said that my subscription would be cancelled in January 2016! One year after I wanted to cancel.
Seeing the number of complaints about Grammarly I can only ask how has this company been allowed to continue?

This company is outright creepy. You cannot find contact information or who owns or runs this firm on their site. Yet they solicit business to schools & colleges. Several hours of online work brings a customer up an 888 phone number, but it proves out to be an answering machine directing the unfortunate back to the web site. One CANNOT talk to a person. TRy to Complaints Board, I dare you.
[censored], customers have a right to know with whom they are dealing and an ability to contact the company. I currently have two accounts and cannot get them to respond to correct the error in duplicate building. The California Attorney General needs to be brought in to jerk these folks' leash or shut them down. There are hundreds of complaints about the spooky nature of this company and their refusal to make themselves available and known.
