I have purchased hundreds of dollars of guitar instruction CDs from them. About two weeks ago they sent me an offer for a guitar tuner worth $39.95 for being a good customer, and all I had to pay was $2.37 for shipping. I noted that they charged my credit card for the tuner a few days later, then after a week, I had not received it. We are now at week 2 and still no tuner. I have contact them three times about the status of my order and NO response. I am not ordering anything from them again. They are scam artists.

Follow up. I finally received feedback from guitarzoom about a week or two later and they said the tuner was on the way. It took almost a month to get it. That is the bad thing, they provide you with no tracking or communication of any kind. So you think they are like a normal company and you will have your product within a week or two, or will actually respond to your request within a day or two. Shoddy. My prior orders generally showed up within a week or two. Never received any tracking information. One other "promotion" they had, they did the same thing. Only pay for shipping and you get the DVD free. Billed my card, no confirmation, not feedback, had to threaten to report them. Received DVD within 2 days. I am not real comfortable with them. You might try something like Rocksmith.

It's the principal of it. This is the second time I have had to threaten to report them for a promotion that you pay your $ and the product is a no show. The promotions sent no confirm email nor any tracking. Very suspicious. I finally received the tuner a month later. The rep finally responded about a week later. Poorly run cust service. Very hesitant to do business with them again. The DVDs are good and helpful, along with the documentation. Definitely valuable, but just really bad delivery time. You might try Rocksmith. Instant download.

Resolved

After about two weeks, their customer service responded to my requests. The tuner was sent about a month later. It was resolved, not quickly, but put to rest. I will say this, Steve Stine is a great guitar instructor, probably one of the best in the country.

So you're complaining about a $3 item? After "puchasing hundreds of dolloars worth" from them previously?... I found your complaint because I'm trying to find out where my DVD order with them is - what I would like to know from you is, did your prior orders show up quickly, did they send you tracking information?
Once I ordered I got a confirmation email with no shipping/tracking info, and a login for the page, but all the forums are locked up with no content in the last few months...
I was hesitant because I couldn't find any credible reviews, but from seeing a few of his youtube videos I decided to take the chance.
Has the tuner been delivered yet?

guitarzoom advertises a $2.99 tuner so I ordered it & during completion of the online transaction I was informed that the 'course' (that I did not order) would be shipped along with the tuner. I declined the offers presented during order completion and did not see any fine print where I might have 'consented' to being charged for anything extra. I requested for them to cancel my order and their reply stated that the recurring monthly charges would be cancelled. do not do business with them! they are a scam!

BEWARE! Guitarzoom.com will get your credit card information from their $2.97 DVD offer and start charging on your credit card without your authorization or agreement. If you complain and not receiving an immediate response, they got an excuse for that, "I apologize for the delay of my response, your email appears to have gone to our SPAM folder, and I was only able to recover it now after looking through the hundreds of emails filtered out by our support system." There you have it. YOU HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED!

I paid for a view online course. The login information they sent doesn't allow me to login. Getting no response. At least after reading these I now expect to hear from them in 2 or 3 weeks!

Same thing happened to me but for more items, and I only had to pay shipping more than 3 dollars. But the fact is they never answered and started billing me for for membership fees.I continued to emailed through there customer service finally I tried a differant approach.I cancled my order, and low and behold I got an answer.this is now a month later. He told me that the itms were shipped and took 14 days well I still havent recieved anything .I deleted my credit card info. And they tried to bill again for membership fees that I didnt sign up for. Now I have to change all my credit info and get new.because of this.

Ya i also became a guitar zoom cash-ualty, i belong to jamplay (awsome site), guitartricks (also great), truefire (awsome) and all these sites have great teachers and lessons for a small monthly fee or yearly membership...Sad to say; as steve stine is a great teacher, the juice is not worth the squeezzz. As steve is the juice for guitar zoom, we as the consumers are beeing squeezed for way to much $$$$ . I have ordered over $250 worth of product just to see nothing in return, i still have not recieved my product after countless calls and emails. I have taken my credit card info off there site..And i keep geting free offers that are just another guies to sell me another lesson...And dont join there club as there is nothing to join just an emty box ...With all the other sites that are lagit, guitar zoom falls short of a honest mans offer..

after some time as a guitar zoom member I have really learned a lot and yes there have been a couple of complications after a purchase.but it took a little patience on my part .. but they have been worked out..i like guitarzoom and would like to retract my first complaint...you do pay more for lessons than from other sites but steve stine is a way better teacher than any other teachers that I have learned from and you cant put a price on that.i think is is well worth the price I want to appollagize to steve stine and guitarzoom for my first neg post..even though the other posts are true steve stine works hard at getting everything back in order

GuitarZoom has done this exact same BS to me! I ordered some pricey DVD courses from them and as you try to check out, they keep pushing their monthly membership on you for $19.97. I refused and refused...but they didn't! They took my credit card information and commenced billing me unfortunately for numerous months. My wife always checks the Discover Card statement and assumed it was something I wanted. I did not. We're now over $250 of ridiculous charges for something I didn't even know I had and when I finally caught on and confronted them over this, they merely told me "Too bad! You could have clicked on the cancellation icon when you had the chance!" WTF!? I have reported them to my DISCOVER Dispute resolution team and plan to report them to their state's BBB office. I shall never do business with this shady company again and I don't care how good their products may seem. I urge others to speak up and do something about this as well. This is preying on unsuspecting customers: You try to purchase a specific item and they roll you over and pick your pockets for even more! Jim C.

Have never had a bad experience with the company. I buy, they provide, no glitches, no overbilling, It has been pushy in the sell department since Dean Denley took the helm. Steve is the best teacher I have ever encountered, competent, a wizard on his instrument, cerebral but down to earth; not an egotist. Safer to use the PayPal system, no chance for any extra billing. I also have a nose for trolls, hacks and paid trolls, and the, ' time of the handsers, ' so let's malign someone; including recognizing the cadence of expression of trolls posting as being many people.
