Hair Today Gone Tomorrow Donald A. Tietz

How awful so many clients have had to deal with the aggrevation of collecting deposit money on servrices not provided by Hair Today Gone Tomorrow and MyRadiance, run by and owed by Donald A. Tietz. For any and all clients that are still out money paid to Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow and/or MyRadiance, Donald A. Tietz is Director of Operations, at Water Tower SDMD Dr. Steven H. Dayan offices, 845 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611 His direct number is [protected]. His office number is [protected]. If enough folks start calling or visiting this office, maybe to avoid embarrassment folks still out money might finally get their money back.

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow $6000 ripped off

1877nohairs, the company hair today gone tomorrow seems to have gone out of business. I purchased a full body treatment worth $6000, which meant 8 sessions for every part of my body. I went to the place six times, during which they were able to go through my body once, which constitutes for one full body session . I found out i was pregnant during the last 2 visits, and even though they claimed it wont affect the baby, I didn't want to take the risk. I since this was a big investment for me, I asked if I could put my treatment on hold for the duration of my pregnancy and breastfeeding. I was told that it was completely fine and that I should call for an appointment as soon as i'm ready to resume. When that time came, I called and didn't get an answer for a while, until I heard that they went out of business. I'm extremely upset. six thousand dollars is alot of money. since then i i did some research and found the the former owner of of hair today gone tomorrow name and number is as follows donald tietz #[protected]
now i called him demanding money back and he said he is sorry we went out of business and that a new company is taking over his clients called " nu u med spa in oak brook illinois" now i called this company and they said yes they are taking over the client list they bought however there will bw additional charges not to mention the drive to them from my home nearly 25 miles away compared to the oak brook location that i initially had the contract with. i just want my money back. this is theft by deciption as they took my money nowing right there and then that the coimpany is closing!

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow scam business closed

I have news for people who have been ripped off by hair today gone tommorow. They did indeed go out of business. I paid $525.00 for 6 treatments and only received 2 when they went out of business. I finally wrote the bbb which was no help. They suck major a - - if you know what I mean. They dont care. I also contacted lisa madigan illinois attorney general office which was also no help on 2/3/2010. Dah! Why do we pay these people to represent the public.? I did some research and mi radiance was the spin off company of hair today gone tomorrow. Same owner I was told. They picked up the hair today gone tomorrow clients until, yes, they also closed shop. I had 2 treatments with them. Infact when I was going to my 3rd treatment I found out they were closed by going to an empty and locked office. Great customer service! I made a couple calles and found out that nu u med spa is picking up the former clients but they want to charge you a fee of $35.00 to get your records in order to finish your treatments.
Here you go I am giving you the number I received [protected]. I went to the website and the number their is [protected]. Locations in chicago, lincoln park, oakbrook, skokie, and schaumberg.
I hope this helps. I would rather have my money back but if I get my two last services I will be happy and will never do this again. Good luck to all.

If you call [protected] or [protected] or [protected] mi radiance numbers they are now verison wireless numbers and will not help you.

I paid upfront for laser hair removal ($1000.00) they went out of business and now will not refund my money. I too filed a complaint with BBB and since they have gone out of business BBB cannot help! I've heard they have reopened under a different name; and this is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happeneded. I would love to see a class action law suit against these people! How do they keep getting away with this!

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow Article I found

Here is an article I came across:
http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news/investigative/Hair_Removal_Company_Complaints

It confirms what one of you posted about the owner of HTGT now owning Miraidance. Maybe we should all call Miradiance to bug them about refunding us. In the article, Don Teitz says that people can go to Miraidance to get their treatments, but that would only be helpful to people living near there. I live in Madison!

How do we file a class action lawsuit? Do you do that in the state where the services were rendered? I know HTGT was in different states, mostly Illinois and Wisconsin, I think.
I am so pissed about them closing. I was halfway through a full body treatment. This sucks!

I've been a client of HTGT for quite some time. I bought a new package and haven't had one treatment. Now, they're bankrupt and looks like No refuns on a pre-paid pacakge. I can't get any body on the phone. The number that is listed on the website is actually the number to a referral service for similar places. They have no information about HTGT bankruptcy nor about refunding money. . .

On 7/31/09 I bought a laser hair removal package and was informed someone from the Brookfield location would call me to schedule my initial appointment. Well I happened to be driving by the location and noticed it was no longer there, so I checked the website and discovered the company went out of business! No one is returning calls and I want my money back. I feel completely taken!

Because they were being sued by numerous previous employees for labor laws federal and state, they were very sneaky. Filed bankruptcy and changed business name and restructured to avoid lawsuit. Very shady business, practically trains future managers how to deceive and get money from future patients and try to start treatment on the same day as contract is signed, so they is no possibility of refund. Crooks very shady business.

I paid for a treatment that I never received, because the company apparently went out of business and didn't bother to inform their clients or provide them with refunds for all the services that were not provided. They basically stole money from a countless number of clients, some of us who have been loyal customers with HTGT for years. I'm sure it wont be long before a class action suit is organized, I mean how can they get away with stealing? If anyone has any information about a class action suit please contact me at [protected]@yahoo.com.

You know us complaining about it on this website isnt getting our money back. They scammed us out of thousands. This is the US, you cant just do that and expect to get away with it. HTGT is out of business, the new company is MARIDIAN, mentioned before in these posts. They are in Oakbrook. Either all of us go there and demand our money back, or we take legal action. Call Lisa Madigans office, Call Better Business Bureau and The citys consumer affairs number. theres no way im sitting back. if someone has any other ideas please let us know.

I too am one of the victims of HTGT. All that is stated above is true.

The owners of HTGT are the same owners of Miradiance, Donald Teitz, Kash Agerwal and Tal Raine. They stole money from clients at Hair Today gone Tomorrow and opened this new laser company Maradiance. They have done this before. Looking for information on this company I discovered Dr. Tal Raine also opened a laser company called Refine 360 and stole money from clients and closed it down without providing services. These people are criminals . Extremely shady, shady people. ALL future clients BEWARE. THey have done this before and they will continue to steal money from people.

I did get my money back from my credit card company, they reversed charges, they are looking into filing fraud charges with the company and they suggested that I file a complaint with Lisa Madigan-- they more people who complain the quicker this company and all the criminals working behind Miradiance will be prosicuted.

It seems like they did go out of business -- in a very shady way. I can tell you I think they morphed into a company called MiRadiance. If you look on the hair today gone tomorrow website (www.hairtodaygonetomorrow.com/) -- two of their locations: 1s224 Summitt Ave. Suite 305 Oak Brook Terrace IL 60181 and 1220 Hobson Road Ste 132 Naperville IL 60540 are the exact same locations listed on the MiRadance website (www.miradiance.com/) According to another website posting if you call MiRadaciance at first they will deny this but when pressed they will give you the treatments that were taken away under Hair Today Gone Tommorow -- as they are the same company. Also the Parma OH location is still open -- [protected] -- from what I can tell this is the only honorable location that has tried to stay open and still makes good on their prepaid packages -- good for them, shame on the HTGT management. Stay away from MiRadiance for any new treatments -- if they did this under the name HTGT -- well you know the reputation. The only other advice I can give is to dispute any recent transaction with your credit card IMMEDIATELY (this is time sensitive), file a report with the attorney general's office (www.ag.state.il.us/) and the better business bureau. Good Luck.

Dr. Raine Talmadge had a spa in Naperville 360, that closed with no forwarding info.
His manager began to work for a group of dr's in Shorewood, IL. and sent me a letter
stating she was now there. She said Dr. T did not pay her for her last paycheck.
I learned he was in an office on Hobson Rd, Naperville, and saw him there. He said
he would honor the amount I had paid to the credit co. for services I never received.
However now that I want a service he was gone again and is now at Mirandiance.
I talked to Don, who said he would talk to the the doctor this last Friday, Jan. 29, 10.
I would like services to use the 2 grand I paid upfront. I will see. If not satisfied I
think we should seek legal action. I will be rechecking this site to see if anyone else
has an interest in this.

I am so upset about HTGT! I was halfway through a full body contract and they disappeared. There is no way to get ahold of them, either. Hair Today Gone Tomorrow Gone out of Business

Yeah, I got burned too:

I went to appointment and found out hair today gone tomorrow had up and gone...

If you call HTGT phone number you will get Signature Group -- which claims they have no affliation with HTGT (funny I don't let perfect strangers answer my phone).

My advice:
1 call your credit card company and immediatly file a complaint (dispute) if you bought a package any time recently.
2 file with the attorney general office (in IL= Lisa Madigan)
3. file with BBB

Don't go to any company recommended by Signature Group. It is obvious this group has major connections to HTGT and to go to a new company recommended by them would be to give more money to the theives who just stole your money.

You know what goes around comes around -- HTGT will pay.

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow Thieves. Shady crooks.

Filed for bankruptcy and reopened under a new name with the money they stole from their thousand dollar package deals! Nice.

This company basically pushed me to take out a loan with care credit for 2500.00. They were awful to deal with from the get go. Cancelling appointments, burning me, hard to get an appointment, unaccomodating, etc. Just awful!

Now, they think they can file bankruptcy, take our hard earned money and re-open under this new company name : MiRadiance Aesthetic Spa or whatever it's called?

From what I understand, this isn't the first time they've done this either. It's about the 2nd or 3rd. This is just unlawful.

I'm all for class action lawsuit! I've filed with the BBB, however, since they've gone out of business, BBB cannot get in contact with them. I guess I'll file MiRadiance complaint since MiRadiance.com is the same owner. Do not let them fool you, MiRadiance IS Hairtodaygone tomorrow under a new name operating with the same President Donald Tietz. When you call miradiance (get the number from miradiance.com) and you tell them that you're an ex hairtodaygone tomorrow client, they tell you they're honoring old contracts but no refunds. They give you a phone number to call to make an appointment. You basically get ping-ponged back and forth between miradiance # and the number Jen at MiRadiance gives you. Nobody calls you back. It's been weeks.

Class Action Lawsuit anyone? I'm all for bringing these guys down.

Contact your local State's attorney, too. Tell them everything you know. Tell them the most important thing though, MiRadiance.com is hairtodaygonetomorrow.

I was also burned - literally - by Hair Today Gone Tomorrow. The technician, Georgia Samiotakis, burned my arms, thighs and neck. Then she implied that it was my fault because of "sun exposure".

To cover their ###, Hair Today Gone Tomorrow provided prescription and reimbursement to treat the burns, but the hair never got removed and I never got a refund for the missed treatments due to the injury that she inflicted on me.

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow canceled many of my appointments due to "overbooking" and "Our machine broke", and sometimes because the technician was late. I never received a refund for the treatments they canceled or denied me due to their damage to my skin.

When I tried to resolve these conflicts, the technicians were rude and verbally abusive, and the company terminated my contract.

All of this happened to me at around 2003. I was their first client in 2000. It seems that they used me as a ginny pig and then terminated my contract after they were overbooked with clients. They even brought trainees - without my consent - to watch the technicians perform treatments on me. It was awkward, humiliating, and hurtful as was my whole experience with this company.

I tried to resolve this between 2003 and 2005 by filing a complaint with BBB and with Lisa Madigan (State's Attorney at that time?), but my communication/networking skills were lacking and no one listened, so I gave up. Still bothers me though...

I am frustruated it's been almost a year since I found out about the scam. I pre-paid a package deal of $7, 500 with care credit. However setiting up appoinments was a nightmare my package was for a full body unlimited tretments and I was only able to set up 4 appts a month the most. My hair grew back I did not lose hair I just lost my money and time. I'm up for a law suit as well anyone with any information please post it up. I wrote a letter to care credit and did not charge the full amopunt since I received half of my treatments according to them that's BS. I want a full refund. Not only is my hair back I actually got burn and still have a mark was told it would go away it. Th only reason I found out was because Kelly from northbrook told me to check out a few websites.

When and where do we start with this ? Care credit should be sued. I have tried contacting an attorney, and have no lead yet.

I am willing to be a part of a class action lawsuit. I went in today to MiRadiance for one of my appointments in Oakbrook, only to see the office closed and an email sent to me from one of the techs saying that she got fired and they are looking for another company to take over the clients who still have treatments and they will let me know.

I'm in the same situation. I think Care Credit needs to be sued because they're refusing to issue a credit back on our account for services not rendered. Visa/MC/AMX issues refunds based on services not rendered. Care Credit needs to help it's customers not hide behind and give lame ### excuses

I signed a contract on 7/15/09 and paid upfront for all treatments, but was told to call to schedule my first appt in Sept. I called 8/25 to schedule my first treatment only to find out the number had been disconnected. I then called the new number listed on the website. I've not been able to leave any messages because the mailbox has been full ever since...

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow Went out of business and didn't refund money

This company sold packages for thousands of dollars for a sequence of laser hair removal treatments. The company went out of business within days and disconnected all contact numbers. Clients are now wondering if they will get money back for treatments that never occurred.

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow Stole my Money

I made an appointment 3 weeks ago for an appointment last night, I showed up to the office to find the door locked and the lights off. After calling their customer service line, I found out that they went out of business 4 days ago! I still have a package with a couple of treaments left and I would love to know if they plan on handling all of these complaints I'm reading about. This place was a joke from the get go...In the short time I was a customer they moved locations 3 times, I could never get in for an appointment at the Northbrook office and twice I showed up and no one was there. I feel scammed and I feel really bad for all the consumers that had just purchased their packages in the weeks prior.

I agree this is an dishonest company. Even at the time that I paid for services in advance I was assured that this company would not go out of business! I too paid through my Credit Card Company back in June. I just called them now at the end of August and they told me they would credit my account. This is great news! thankyou so much for your guidance on this. Very much appreciated.

HTGT is indeed gone. I too paid in advance and was given the run around by HTGT when I tried to book an appointment. They closed their doors. You can call MiRadiance, as I did, but you will likely get the same explanation. The woman will take you name and number and say that someone WILL call you back later that day or the next. Well guess what? No one called. I filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and also called the fraud and dispute department of the credit card HTGT charged - after explaining my situation to the credit card, the money HTGT took from me is back on my card - the credit card company told me they can pull the funds back from HTGT and if HTGT fights it, then they will go after them. CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. My charge was made the beginning of June, it's the end of August and I got my money back. In addition, file a complaint with your state's Better Business Bureau office.

I called the Attorney General’s office (Illinois) at [protected]. This has happened to me before with a gym membership I signed up for which never opened but took my money. Lisa Madigan took the case and we all did eventually get our money back. Please, Please, Please, if you live in Illinois call the number above. The women who answered told me the more people call with complaints, the quicker things will move because the Attorney General works mainly for the state and not individual people. She was also going to warn her supervisor that they would be getting more calls about HTGT. Please, if in Illinois call the # above. If you are in a different state, I’d advise you call your Attorney General’s office. With HTGT gone and no phones picking up... this may be the only way to get our money back.

Here is the cell phone number for the former owner of Hair Today Gone Tomorrow. [protected] His name is Donald Tietz. His partners name is Cush. Or you can goto www.miradiance.com and call that new number and demand your money back. Miradiance is the new company that was created from the stolen money from HTGT clients. I wish you all good luck.

I could never get an appointment at the northbrook location. They managed to take over $1, 000 dollars of my money, but whenever I wanted an appointment they were booked solid for 6 to 8 weeks. I was at an appointment at an electrolysis/laser clinic in Madison, Wisconsin, and the person working on me mentioned that they are busy because they took over the contract for HTGT in the Madison area. I got the impression that HTGT had solicited them to do this.

Yeah this does suck. I paid HTGT $2K and went to two sessions. Now they gave me the [protected] phone number and I have left 5 messages in the last 3 weeks with no call back at all. So I called Signature back and they said to contact www.miradiance.com or I can go to Pur Med Spa or ALC and they will do it for a discounted rate. Well...as parents always say growing up...life isn't always fair.

You are all being SCAMMED! You won't get your money back - there is none! Hello? There is no money! The doors are closed! They went bankrupt! Don Tietz won't call you back - he's chicken! He cares about no one, as long as he has his money! The staff won't call you back - they don't want to get screamed at, they don't work for HTGT. Call your credit card company, call Care Credit, Call Lisa Madigan. Don't waste your time calling those numbers they gave you, they are all cell phones with Verizon. They'll just let them go to voice mail. But yes, American Laser will treat HTGT clients that have paid (funny all their clients went to HTGT saying ALC sucked and stole their money) - Round and round life goes ...

I'm from the Toledo area and I had an appointment this past Saturday morning at the Lambertville, Michigan office. I thought I was the first patient in for the day so I waited 15 minutes in the parking lot for someone to arrive, but no one did, and I eventually left. I tried to call the office, figuring it was just a honest mistake scheduling an appointment during Labor Day weekend, but I come to find out that the business closed up shop. I'm guessing this was done without warning to their staff, as I noticed through the window when I was sitting in the parking lot that morning, that the office was still furnished and left untouched.

I also am a victim of pre-paying for the treatment packages. I received the phone # that was provided to me [protected]) by the answering service when I the contact info off the HTGT website. I tried calling that number but was unable to get through. From the sounds of it, this contact number won't get me far. My question is what action should I take besides filing a complaint with the BBB and the Michigan Attorney General's office?

The H2G2 website has a new number listed: [protected]. I called this number and pressed option 2, where I spoke with a representative who told me that H2G2 is now closed. She referred me to American Laser Centers. She also stated that she did not know if H2G2 was going to be refunding clients who paid up front for packages.

I too paid in advance $2, 100 for treatments and only had 2 at the office in Parma, OH. I just want my money back! I still have to try calling the office at miradiance.com. Will keep you posted. I already filed a complaint with the better business bureau today.

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow hair removal

Approximately 5 years ago i decided i wanted to have facial hair removed. Laser removal was expensive, i went to Hair Today Gone Tomorrow for a consultation. I let the "technician" know right off I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome which is a hormonal imbalance that causes excess facial hair, acne, sometimes obesity etc. The technician promised good results and total hair removal. After the initial treatment i was satisfied, the hair was gone. That was the thing, as long as i went in for my "treatments" the hair remained gone but during the summer months with sun exposure you can't. So during the summer i could not get treatment and low and behold, the hair grew back, darker, thicker and in more area that original. Did this another round, same thing happened again and the last time the hair was very coarse and more abundant than ever. Called the owner to complain. This man is a first class jerk! Never have i been spoken to so rudely, condesendingly and chauvenistic. He is an arrogant ###! Rather than go to small claims, i stupidly accepted a partial return of my money. I spent $1300 for nothing but empty promises. What i found out later is not only did the 'technician" use the wrong setting which STIMULATED the dormant hair follicles to grow but the employees were trained to guarentee results when they knew none would happen. This i found out through 2 former employees of Hair Today Gone Tomorrow that had decided to leave there, get a legitimate certification/license for laser hair removal and/or estitician. I strongly urge any woman with PCOS to NOT use Hair Today Gone Tomorrow. It may appear you are getting results but the hair will return worse. Not only did it stimulate dormant hair on my face, the "treatments" left my skin pitted and scarred.

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow canceled many of my appointments due to "overbooking" and "Our machine broke", and sometimes because the rude technician was late. I never received a refund for the treatments they canceled or denied me due to their damage to my skin.

When I tried to resolve these conflicts, the technicians (Georgia) were rude and verbally abusive, and the company terminated my contract.

All of this happened to me at around 2003. I was their first client in 2000. It seems that they used me as a ginny pig and then terminated my contract after they became overbooked with clients. They even brought trainees - without my consent - to watch the technicians perform treatments on me. It was awkward, humiliating, and hurtful as was my whole experience with this company.

I tried to resolve this between 2003 and 2005 by filing a complaint with BBB and with Lisa Madigan's office (State's Attorney at that time?), but my communication/networking skills were lacking and no one listened, so I gave up. Still bothers me though...

I have been going for the past 5 years and I always am told that just a few more treatments and i should see the results that I want. Needless to say, still hair growing in the areas I had treatments... thousands of dollars later. It is ridiculous. I would love to see a class action suit go against them. They advertise hair removal and that it will be cheaper than razors in the long run... not if you have to continue to get "maintenance" treatments 2-3 times a year. It is ridiculous.

Well let me just back up the first comment... I don't have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome but I did experience very much the same negative results as the first original comment... I am trans gendered( male to female transition), and I have been on hormones for over 4 years which softens the skin and thins body hair aswell as gives more femininity to your body... So I had hormones to back up the prcedures to aliminate body hair... I spent over $9000.00 on a 2 year full body hair removal program with HTGT. I was very cxonsistant. I was so consistant, that it ruined any relationship I had, and fun in the sun, I shouldn't of missed and emotional set backs from being completely secure with who I am... I wanted to fillfull my transition with a smooth trend body... legs, arms torso, buttock, lower back, face, under arms, gentalia area... You name it... In the two years and $9000 dollars later, they gave me ten treatments to my body and 15 to my face... I actually befriended one of the techicians ( who has told me that treatments don't work and that customerss are complaining), I even got naked in front of the technicians so they could treat embarrassing areas( putting my pride aside) The results were affective at first and now that my treatments are almost over, Only have a couple to the face treatments left, I am seeing that hair is growing back faster and thicker and I'm a prefect canidate for HTGT because I am light skinned and have dark hair which light inpulses read more easily... I went through pain... emotional set backs, frusteration with HTGT...

BottomLine...

I was consistant ( I missed ecaxctly 3 appointments in 2 years)
I didn't wax or thread...
I paid in full the first day...
I complained to them on many occasions and I want my money back...

HTGT does not work. The technicians are trained to tell you that the treatments will work.
They never have convenient appointments ...

And to whom this may concerm in this second comment. You either work for HTGT for you to speak so highly for HTGT or you are paids to cover up their flaws because people may be gullible to reading fake positive reviews but I'm living proof about how unaffective HTGT is...

Well I actually had great results and have PCOS...I was told I would see great results only if I talk medications to control my hormones that causes the hair growth. I also did research and their systems don't stimulate any dormate hair folicles. The only thing that would make more hair grow or look like if it is if you waxed or threaded because you are pulling out the follicule they are trying to get at . Plus were you consistent every 3-4 wks? or did you go whenever you felt like you needed to go? I know if I have this condition I will always have hair or if any women goes through a hormonal change like pregnancy or menopause. Plus if the technicians were using the wrong settings you would either not get any results or you will burn because they are too high. Plus I always was always treated with respect from everyone. I Always treat people the way I want to be treated...Do you?
