Commercials during prime time shows
Last night I was watching a lovely Hallmark rk movie about Christmas. Several times Hallmark aired several long commercials about a drug to prevent AIDS. The commercial showed several aspects of the LGBQT community kissing and fondling each other. YOUR MESSAGE IS DISGUSTING. YOU NEED TO REPRIORITIZE WHO YOUR AUDIENCE IS AS THIS IS INAPPROPRIATE. I will pray for you to see God’s love and light in your life. If you continue on this path, your audience will be gone.
Desired outcome: Go back to your core values of a wholesome entertainment channel for the majority of people.
Hallmark movies
Just watched Loves portrait. It was the slowest, most boring and unrealistic movie. Hallmark movies have become so predictable and unentertaining. Also, Hallmark has shifted to the extreme regarding, interracial & gay relationships in practically all movies. It's obvious you're trying to cover up your biases by going to the extreme. Perhaps you could have more relatable plots that actually aid/add to the quality of your viewers lives. Have unexpected endings cause that's real life.
Double Billing for Hallmark Store purchase
I have been charged twice on my credit card for a single purchase I made at
Karen's' Hallmark in Scottsdale, Arizona on August 6, 2022. The total purchase was $ 51.98. My credit card statement reflects a double charge- same accession number behind the Hallmark Com - [protected].
I am unable to get assistance with this problem through the [protected] customer service number that I was given by the credit card company, as well as what is listed on the internet for Hallmark Customer Service.
I would appreciate your assistance with removing the double charge from my credit card.
Sincerely,
Patricia J Gray

Desired outcome: Remove double charge from my credit card
Programming
I pay for three movie channels normally the programming is nearly two to four decades old but there is at least three choices at night now I have one channel I can get it on three different numbers but you have decided what I'm going to watch on all three of my movie channels. I have not read turns of use if you don't want to acknowledge me don't I'll just go away
Desired outcome: More recent programming and at least three choices for my three channels

Hallmark movies
Hallmark…Hallmark…Hallmark…oh how you have disappointed a long time viewer of your movies. You no longer hold traditional family values and your movies are no longer what they used to be. Your new actors are not very good and your movies need a better storyline. You’ve also bent your standards to “not offend” anyone by accepting everyone and anything in your movies and that may very well lead to your demise. It takes something special to hold to true family values…but now you’re just another channel to flip through. If I had kids, they would not watch your movies. Sad to say, but true! Your promotion of drinking and gay relationships in every movie is not ok and it’s not family friendly! Hallmark, what happened to you? I guess you’ve lost yet another faithful customer.
Desired outcome: I think it’s too late for that…
I have been a long time viewer of Hallmark and the quality and family values are completely missing for the past couple years. I try to continue but I think I have reached my tolerance of the forced homosexual promotion in every movie. Enough is enough. You have really gone overboard.
Programming
The hallmark channel has decided to cancelChesapeake Shores. It seems the channel is going in the wrong direction.Hallmark has always been high quality, family focused and the name Hallmark really meant something. It is a total shame that the standards are being lowered to cater to the idiocy, Americans are dealing with daily in this nation. It is certain viewership is going to drastically drop .How sad for the Hall family that the newer executives feel they must cater to the anti family anti Christian crowd ,extremly disappointing and such an insult to the founders!
Movies with Armed Forces depicted
The first complaint that I have is one of your movies that has a prince wearing a Marine Corps dress uniform with the rank insignia of a Private First Class.
The second is a movie depicting an Army Captain with hair over his ears and over his collar. Every Army Officer I have had the pleasure to deal with was always neat and clean. Especially if he was commanding troops.
I had 8 years in the Air Force and find these mistakes offensive.
Desired outcome: There are many Reserve and National Guard units in every state. Try to get some input if you are unsure as to the correct procedures.
Hallmark Movies
Why are all the Hallmark movies the same? They may change the town, the job the character has but all the movies are the same basic content. The story is so simple without any substance or depth to the characters. They have become so boring, we have stopped watching. After all, if you've seen one, you've seen them all. Very silly content that does not project real life.
Desired outcome: Please make movies with different and new content.
Movies with controversial relationships
Recently there has been a rise in hallmark movies that have homosexual couples. My family believe in traditional Christian values. We have always enjoyed the hallmark channel because it is so family friendly. However, I will not promote homosexuality. Hallmark needs to get back to a few years ago when there weren’t homosexual couples in almost every movie. There should be some movies that family’s like mine can still watch. We have rights just like others do.
I totally agree.
Recently I was reading an interview with Luke Macfarlane in Vanity Fair. We all knew he was gay in real life but that didn’t matter. He was a good actor and A Shoe Addicts Christmas used to be one of my favorite movies.
This is what Luke had to say about Hallmark:
"Deeper into our conversation, Macfarlane turns more candid. “If you go to my IMDB page, there’s a lot of me holding hands with some nice Christian white lady—like, yeah, I’m terrified. I’m totally freaked out by that,” he says. “We all come from somewhere. We all got to learn our stuff. But there’s this thing you can do. You can try to hide who you are, and you can kind of try to sort of whitewash—but at the end of the day, it’s always more interesting than you could ever write. ‘The [censored]ing dude from Hallmark is gay? What!’ I hope that I don’t get judged for that. I hope that people understand that they gave me jobs when other people weren’t giving me jobs.” A pause. “But it’s embarrassing.”
So, Hallmark gave Luke work when no one would hire him, and he was embarrassed to be photographed standing beside a white Christian woman. That was enough for me. I will not watch any movies on Hallmark that he is in. It also appears to be quite telling. While Hallmark is shaming all of its viewers that do not want to see gay or lesbians in their entertainment choices, how many gay and lesbian people do they think you are attracting with their choices. It appears that Luke was mocking Hallmark and now hopes people don’t hold it against him for ever appearing in their movies. So distasteful.
Hallmark isn’t a Christian network ma’am. You’ll have to either get over it or stop watching. Your morals don’t dictate the morals of others. Side not open that Bible a little more it makes it easier to read it all when your not just cherry picking the parts you agree with. Follow it all or don’t follow at all.
Totally agree with previous poster.
Ruby Herring Mysteries
I normally enjoy watching the Hallmark Mysteries, as I find the storylines much more intriguing compared to the romances. I started a new series I had never seen before, and though it seemed to have great potential at first, I was greatly disturbed by the content that they chose to include. In the first ten minutes, there is a scene where a women is drowning. It was very disturbing to me, and I had to turn it off and don't plan to finish the episode or watch the series. It is one thing to show the "body" of someone who drowned or died earlier in the movie, it is another thing entirely to show the act of a woman gasping for breath and being dragged under the water, while her friend is yelling for help and trying to help her. It was completely unnecessary to show the scene. I would even wager that the scene alone should make it pg13 material. While no blood or gore was shown, I genuinely was disturbed by it. Do not include content this graphic if you plan to continue making Mystery movies.
Desired outcome: I would like Hallmark Mysteries to apologize for the content of the Ruby Herring Mysteries
Movies are no longer enjoyable
I am so tired of seeing only interracial and homosexual content on your channel. Why is it you are now catering to the woke population even though it is the smallest part of our population? I realize you are trying to be inclusive but you are excluding the majority. I don’t know of a new movie I have watched in the past year, if not longer, that it isn’t “in your face”. What will it take for you to realize the majority is not on board with the choices you are making? I’m all for live and let live; I just don’t need someone to force their agenda on those of us who believe in the Judeo-Christian values our country was founded on.
Try to be more inclusive of everyone. When enough people get fed up, you will lose the majority of your viewers. That also means lost revenue.
It is evident the ratio of complaints you receive vs. the complaints you address is as one sided as your content.
Desired outcome: Move back to a more centrist stand. Try to include every walk of life
Just canceled my subscription.
Would someone please tell the script writers/producers when they have a wedding in their Hallmark movie to PLEASE do 2 things to be correct:
#1 Put the Bride and Groom on the correct sides. Bride and bridesmaids go on the left side (facing the altar). Groom and groomsmen go on the right side (facing the altar.) Unless it is a Jewish wedding, and then the opposite is true.
#2 Use the correct music for coming in and for going out. If traditional music is used, Wagner's Bridal Chorus is for the entrance and Mendelssohn's Wedding March is used for the exit.
These 2 things are rarely correct whenever I watch a wedding on Hallmark. They are usually reversed. I am a wedding coordinator that does 400-500 weddings a year and this drives me crazy! Please do your research, Hallmark!
While yes what you say is true for how they have normally been done. it is upto the bride and groom of the music and standing not the tv station. yeah they are there to film but dont have a say on the wedding itself. maybe they give a budget and guidelines on what it must contain but the planning of the wedding must be approved by the bride and groom. for actual movies they do research on what has been done [maybe have a wedding planner on staff to help] and depending on what the show is tweak it to fit the feel of the movie. if its meant to be funny then "mistakes" can be forgiven. if its meant to be dysfunctional and rushed...i guess that can be overlooked. if its meant to be a documentry and its not accurate...then they need to redo it.
Please understand that they base their programing on data they receive from Nelson research who does poles on what people watch. i haven't in a few years done it but they ask what program and when, was it enjoyable, ect. the data that halmark has gotten has been leaning to the minority being "louder" in the research and reflected this in their programing. it isn't pushing people away but trying to include everyone. as for founded on...the country was founded on freedom of speech and choice not religion itself. that is why there is the separation of religion and state so that we don't exclude people from having a voice.
you can go to their website [nelson research] and apply to get your research kit to have your data counted in the research given to the tv stations.
I totally agree with the above. When I cut the cord with cable about 3 years ago, I choose Sling to replace my cable because they offered Hallmark. I loved Hallmark because you knew the content you would be seeing. Now...it's a different story. Women kissing women; men kissing men it grosses me out. I am sorry for these people because they feel neglected but making out with same sex couples is not normal and those of us who have supported Hallmark agree. My solution is to offer a same sex channel, call it what you will, but it tell us viewers we will not have to witness any lgbt content. Or put a ratting in front of your movies. Hallmark has really been a huge disappointment lately.
I totally agree! I’m seriously tired of the movies Hallmark is mass producing. Imagination anyone?
The stories are all the same. Also, why on god’s earth do these women keep considering taking their idiot boyfriends back when everyone knows they are going to stay with them!
Hallmark Commercial, Lumi deodorant
This advertisement is so offensive to me that I don’t want to watch the channel. It’s on way to often and I can’t stand the manner of the Dr. who advertises it. Can’t you find other products to advertise. It’s too late n your face and her joking manner is not cute. A more professional presentation would be less offensive. It’s not cute. Jennifer L. RN
Desired outcome: Take it off the air!
i am so sick of the lume commercials they make me want to stop watching hallmark
I also despise this commercial. Also the one where the chick is shaving her nether regions…why would anyone want to see that?
Streaming
It is very frustrating to pause in the middle of s movie or even purposefully stop. Then when I choose continue watching it starts completely over even if I'm almost to the end of the movie. Since there is no option to rewind or fast-forward which is Also annoying (at least allow rewind with commercials). I find so much waisted time to just watch the end of a show. It's not good. And often I have decided not to finish watching it.
Desired outcome: Allow rewind with sufficient advertising, fix resume issues when a movie has be sufficiently paused.
Service
My grandson and I visited the Hallmark in Atascocita on May 27, 22 to buy my granddaughter a Bday Card and a small gift. While I’m looking for my items my grandson asked to go to the bathroom, I told him to ask someone where it was, he returned telling me they told him the closest one is Kroger next door. Really? After I addressed this with the the lady at the register she said it was company policy. I said he’s a child she made it clear to me again that it’s not a public bathroom and their belongings are back there and it’s company policy/ if you don’t want my grown self back there I’m good but to tell a child No, to where we had to leave the store, we’ll guess what? We left forever.
So Hallmark if you can be so unreasonable about this situation
I can only hope your kind will soon feel the effects of lack of business until you can appreciate your customers, the money they spend and the effort someone took to visit your store and spend there hard earned money. As for me I’m done with you.
Sound on programs
Enjoy watching Hallmark Channel and its stories. The complaint is that the music is TOO LOUD! Please tone the music down so we can hear and understand what the actors are saying. It ruins the story if you can't understand what they are saying.
Music doesn't play all the time in real life so please take this into consideration. Loudness spoils the story.
Desired outcome: Would like to have a reply so I can forward it on to others that have discussed this. It would make it more pleasant.
Hallmark movies on YouTube Premium
Hallmark movies viewed between December 2021 and May 2022:
Why do so many Hallmark movies on YouTube have intermittent audio interruptions of loud obnoxious music that masks the movie conversations? It is very frustrating to bedridden seniors using these videos to minimize stress!
Is there anything that can be done to correct the movie videos already published to YouTube since December 2021?
Desired outcome: Republish your movies with corrected audio if you can't correct the ones already published to YouTube.
ALL Hall mark TV movies, North wood law, Louisiana Law
I DONOT like the over voice comments on your movies.
It is very distracting, and it takes away from being able to enjoy the purpose of the film!
Desired outcome: REMOVE the over voice aspect.
The new lesbian movie
Why are you doing this now? I have been an avid viewer since the early 2000’s when my children were small. I have always thought that Hallmark would be the wholesome family channel with the values that I raised my children with for years to come. What has happened at this network? We are catholic and do Not believe in gay or lesbian lifestyles. I have always thought I could depend on ur channel to uphold our Christian values and now my children and husband and I are disgusted. Won’t be watching this channel ever again. You are yet another entity to cave to the disgusting “woke” mentality. And guess what? That is the tiniest population in the country but they just have the biggest mouths. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Desired outcome: A return to the wholesome lineup of movies and tv series to which we had become accustomed. Meaning NORMAL heterosexual relationships like God intended.
Habe to agree 100%.Halmark needs to understand thatbis they continue down the path that they have allowed less than 1% of the population to take them, they will end up without viewership. They have already lost several of their most popular actresses and actors, with good reason they can do not agree with the "woke" BS direction Halmark appears hell bent on going.
Hallmark Channel
My complaint is the background music is too loud it makes it hard to hear the actors thank you
Desired outcome: The background music would be lowered
