They ain't talkin' to us and makin' our *** committee vote drag on so they can keep us on their contract for longer. Awful! They were s'posed to send out them run off ballots within 10 days of the vote and they still haven't. They're just stallin' and makin' the *** lose money and valuable time. They ain't answerin' the phone or email.

On August 11, my condo (unit 20) at *** experienced water damage due to a backup in the condo complex mainline. The backup caused the standup shower drain to overflow, affecting the floors in the bathroom, kitchen (partially), hallway (partially), and living room (partially). I filed a claim with my insurance and reported the incident to the HOA. However, as of now, the HOA has not filed a claim with the master insurance carrier. I have attached all the necessary details for reference.
My condo management has charged me a terrible $700 of "late fees" for the past 14 months of $567/month regular HOA fees
My condo management has charged me a terrible $700 of "late fees" for the past 14 months of $567/month regular HOA fees. I never got or saw their bill because they said that mail was being stolen every night since 4/30. The condo manager told me to ask for a refund from the HOA Board, but I don't know how to contact the Board. *** Now, my emails and phone calls to the manager are being blocked. Since July, I set up auto recurring payments and made a big $2403.64 payment to have a large surplus credit for the last 2 months. Please help me get my $700 refund of unfair charges. Management just changed the mailbox key this month! The mail loss problem started before I bought the condo on 4/30.

My HOA, Diversified Property Management, sent me a loss assessment for over $*** claiming it was for damages to the roof
My HOA, Diversified Property Management, sent me a loss assessment for over $*** claiming it was for damages to the roof. They have refused to send an estimate for the roof repair, and have had both me and my homeowners insurance in a roundabout regarding this bill for almost a month. They claimed the due date for the bill was October 31, but I never even received a bill in the mail until late November. They are now trying to charge me a late fee, when they refused to send the requested paperwork to my insurance. My HOA does not even cover the roof. The roof maintenance is supposed to be the homeowner's responsibility. Because of this, I do not see why we would be charged a loss assessment through the HOA for something that they do not deal with in the first place. I feel there is some kind of scam going on here, and I would like it to be looked in to.
This is our HOA AAM
This is our HOA AAM. We pay our dues and follow the rules they enforce by driving by our homes and taking pictures of any violations, big or small. As homeowners, we comply and pay our dues for services that they don't honor. Our main residential park is in poor condition, which is dangerous due to damaged equipment and flooring/concrete. Our common areas are not well-maintained, yet they increase the dues every year, claiming it's for improvements that never happen in our community. I've sent multiple emails and received responses saying they're working on it, but nothing changes. I've been here for years. They are neglectful and only care about taking our hard-earned money, not our concerns or the well-being of our community. We pay the HOA fees to have a well-maintained community that they manage, but they only seem interested in collecting fees from us.
I live in a townhome with unresolved maintenance issues
I live in a townhome. This home suffered water damage in the downstairs bath, hall, and kitchen due to a tree root blocking the drain to the sewer. I reported the issue to the HOA but received no response on the fix. The board president, who resides within the association, treats residents poorly, avoids elections and meetings, and monopolizes communication with the board, deciding unilaterally on issue resolutions. Disliked individuals get ignored. The management company is powerless against her decisions or financial allocations. The association manager, currently unavailable due to health issues, has had their duties assumed by the president, who withholds information from the management company. The president's singular control over the association is problematic. The plumbing issue remains unaddressed, and my attempts at communication have been met with disrespect, shouting, and deceit. The lack of resolution and transparency, including the absence of board meeting minutes, suggests deeper governance issues.
HOA Organizers got these charges on my account that ain't even valid charges
HOA Organizers got these charges on my account that ain't even valid charges. My lawyer told 'em straight up that they can't be chargin' me legal fees just 'cause I filed a complaint against 'em. They finally took 'em off after like a whole dang year. They slapped a pre-lien charge on my account when it wasn't even in pre-lien status. It's all 'cause they keep switchin' banks and messin' up how they bill us residents. They sent an email back in 2019 sayin' they messed up our invoices. Then on March 15, 2022, they sent another email talkin' 'bout changes to their payment systems and sayin' I owe "$999.58". That balance was already paid off, man. So on August 15, 2022, I emailed 'em and told 'em I paid it and they still got charges on my account that shouldn't be there. Ain't no reason for a collection fee 'cause I always paid on time and my account never went to no collection agency. And them late fees they keep addin' ain't even right 'cause I pay on time and I always send my payment confirmation email to *** to prove it. The *** board and HOA Organizers keep messin' with me 'cause they mad about my legit complaints against 'em.
A company put fraudulent charges on my account
A company put fraudulent charges on my account. I set up automatic withdrawals for my bills and they issued late charges on payments made. Initially, when I moved into my condo in February , I was told I would get payment instructions. I didn't receive them and contacted a representative who provided the details because the company sent the info to my old address and mail forwarding had stopped. The rep said he would remove the charges due to their error. They never did. Automatic withdrawals were set, but they kept charging me. I have email proof of their promise to remove the charges. The company lost many residents' payments and overcharged them, leading our condo board to switch companies. The old company still didn't remove the charges and incorrectly informed the new company about my account. When I reached out, they directed me to the new company, despite agreeing to fix the issue previously.
I've tried for over a year to get this company to add my name to their billing and mailing list
I've tried for over a year to get this company to add my name to their billing and mailing list. I have sent several emails, as well as made calls and visited their office trying to get this issue resolved. Each time I've been told they can't help unless I provide documents or pay them for services. Backstory, my parent and I bought a condo together. They live in their home and I live in the condo. I'm supposed to make all payments to the mortgage company and pay all HOA dues. We purchased the condo in 2003. I have received all billing, HOA notices, yearly updates, and meeting updates until HOA Organizers was hired to manage the account. I have sent copies of past billings, emails, etc., showing that I was the person that should be listed on the account and that my parents *** and his wife *** were not on the billing, email - etc. Each time I ask for HOA Organizers to add my name, they refuse to update and instead ask that I provide copies of the deed. When I asked for them to provide what documents they received to change the name, they stated they have no records and that it transferred from the previous HOA management company. Which is not on the deed of trust and note from the mortgage company, and I was advised it was not good enough, but they could help me get what they needed for an additional fee. Seems like this is a recurring issue of them asking for money. This has caused several issues where I have not received important HOA updates as they also changed the mailing address to my parent's personal home. Unfortunately, the letters were not forwarded to my home. I can't understand and need a real explanation as to why they are making this so difficult. This should not be that difficult and the stress and anxiety it has caused me is unfair.
