Bought truck on Tuesday, now Thursday and it needs towed. Bought it in FL, heading to GA. Nightmare. Hoping dealership helps. $23k truck. Crying and upset.

I acquired a vehicle through a dealership and they collaborate with Hodges Mazda. I had a warranty and took my car for repairs three times. The last time they kept my car a week and now it's malfunctioning; when it's on, my car overheats. I took photos of my car which returned with a replaced but apparently broken part. They directed me to Hodges, the dealership's partner. I had to escalate issues to the boss as the customer service was appalling, and my car is still not fixed with my warranty expired. This would be my fourth time returning my car. I've attempted to contact other leaders for assistance without success, leaving me with a defective vehicle that was assured to be repaired but now presents a complete runaround.

I called Hodges Mazda many times to talk to the boss, but they never called me back. On March 8th, I got a new car delivered to my house in Georgia. I really like the car, and the people who brought it were really nice. They gave me good customer service. They said they would send me copies of all the papers I signed when they brought the car, but they haven't. The salesperson also told me that the dealer would take care of the tag paperwork and send it to me in the mail. But I haven't gotten it yet. Today is March 22nd, and my temporary tag will expire on April 1st. The salesperson called me and asked me to tell him if I didn't get the tag the day before it expires. Another person from the dealer called me and said the boss was busy, but he would check on my paperwork and call me back in an hour. But it's been six hours, and nobody has called me back yet.

I give them a zero if I could. Sorry, I didn't review the dealership (Hodges ***, ) with the same diligence I reviewed the vehicle. I was so happy with the experience--at first. And since we already had a *** diesel, we were happy to find a "good dealership" for future service. Wrong! Purchased the used truck on 8/2, so pleased with it. $25,000. Ordered running boards and installed them on 8/7 so I could start using it for work on Monday. Drove great that morning and the transmission went out that afternoon. Won't return phone calls. They had to know the transmission had issues. Yes, we bought 'as is', but this is ridiculous. Was hoping the dealership would at least help diagnose the problem so we would know where to go from here. The salesman won't call back, the general manager won't call back. BE WARNED! These guys are not reliable and do not have any sort of customer service after the sale. So very discouraging.
This dealership was a total letdown
This dealership was a total letdown. I was gonna buy a car from them and even put down a deposit to show I was serious. They never said it was non-refundable, so when my situation changed the day before I was gonna sign the papers and bring my trade-in, I had to cancel. I needed to keep my car and told them that. They kept bugging me about how they could've sold it earlier and were losing money. I said sorry and explained my situation honestly. I really needed that deposit back for bills. Then the new car manager, ***, started questioning me like I was a criminal. He even said I sold my car to a rival dealership days before, but had no proof. I was shocked. How can a business in the community treat a regular person like that and take their money? I'm not rich and could've used some sympathy, but they didn't care at all. ***BE CAREFUL BUYING FROM HERE*** Other complaints show they're a bad business.

Finance Department
I purchased a Mazda CX-30 back in June 2023. I am a resident of Georgia and agreed to a Georgia tag. It has been 3 months since I purchased the vehicle and I still have not received my tag. When I tried to contact the Finance Department, Rodney gave me conflicting information about being sent a temporary tag. First he said they weren’t allowed to provide a third temporary tag and then he said he didn’t know. Jason has not reached out to me regarding the where my tag is. I keep getting told that someone will contact me and no one ever does. Both Jason and Rodney have directed me to people outside of the office that are unreachable.
Desired outcome: Please provide information on tag delay. Please send temporary tags until I finally receive my permanent tag.
I got a new car from Hodges Mazda by returning my old leased car
I got a new car from Hodges Mazda by returning my old leased car. My old car still had two payments left and I had to pay $650 for excess mileage, which totaled to $1280. The dealer agreed to roll over this cost into my new lease. But after a few months, Mazda Capital told me that I still owed the $1280. I contacted the dealer multiple times, but nothing was resolved. I ended up paying the $1280 after three months because I didn't want it to go to collections. I'm still paying the extra money rolled over in the lease. Hodges Mazda lied and Mazda Capital and the dealer don't know how to do proper paperwork. I used this dealer for another car a few years ago with no issues. To this day, I can't get anyone from the dealership to contact me. Mazda Capital won't help either.
I refinanced my 2018 Mazda 3 with Vystar last year
I refinanced my 2018 Mazda 3 with Vystar last year. They said I'd get my gap coverage money back by mail. Hodges Mazda's *** told me it'd take 4-6 weeks to get my gap reimbursement check. It's been 9 months now. Here's what happened: Dec 2, 2021, 9:56 AM - *** emailed me the gap cancellation form for reimbursement. Jan 7, 2022 - I emailed him back, saying I turned in the form but still no check. Jan 7, 2022 - *** replied, saying the refund would take 4-6 weeks and I didn't need to do anything else. Mar 24, 2022, 9:43 PM - Still no check. Mar 25, 2022, 10:17 AM - *** said he emailed the cancellation department and would get back to me. Mar 25, 2022, 9:21 PM - Thanks!
