Fui a ese dealer por primera vez a comprar un carro y me decepcionaron, nos robaron en mi ***.
Translation:
I went to that dealer for the first time to buy a car and I was disappointed, they robbed us in my ***.
The Toyota of Runnemede is not good at all
The Toyota of Runnemede is not good at all. They take forever to respond to inquiries, and sometimes they don't respond at all. I bought my car more than 30 days ago, and I'm still waiting for the tags.
I had to buy a truck I didn't want
I had to buy a truck I didn't want. I couldn't leave with the vehicle I drove there with. They are a really sad company. And Toyota corporate can't do anything because they buy the Toyota brand name from the corporate office.
My friend had a bad experience with Toyota of Runnemede
My friend had a bad experience with Toyota of Runnemede. They sold her a certified pre-owned car, but didn't mention that it was stolen! She only discovered this when the loan process began, and she had to give the car back to the state police. When Toyota of Runnemede found out, they only gave her a free oil change and blocked her on social media after she posted her review. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who wants a smooth and legal car buying process!
Terrible place to buy car
Terrible place to buy car. Bought 2019 vehicle and not even day after got two warnings for safety features not working. Brought it back next day to shop. They said they fixed it but after driving away not even 10 minutes later warnings were back. Sent it to *** who also said they'd fixed it when they didnt but toyota of runnemede said everything would be covered. When sensors went bad again they didnt help. Also signed up for credit card which i was told had no minimum payment but now i have minimum of 400$ to pay. Classic car company scam artists.
Let me start by saying that I was charged $63,000 for a 2021 Toyota Camry
Let me start by saying that I was charged $63,000 for a 2021 Toyota Camry. It's really expensive! Not only that, but there were six hard inquiries on my credit report, which caused my credit score to drop by 100 points. This place is a joke! Today, there's a whole new staff because the head of the finance department took out a Toyota credit card in my name and used it. I was even getting billed for it! I can't believe this happened. I would love to talk to the owner and let him know what's going on in his business because there's so much more that I don't think anyone has the time to read.
I went to Toyota of Runnemede for my scheduled 845 oil change appointment
I went to Toyota of Runnemede for my scheduled 845 oil change appointment. They called me right away and said there were eight (8) cars ahead of me, but they could do a recall for the fuel pump. I told them I didn't have that kind of time to wait. The service writer, ***, was really rude about it when I questioned him about why I had an appointment. I told him to just put the car out front. When he gave me the key, I saw a reflection of him making a hand gesture. I turned around and suddenly that hand gesture turned into a sarcastic wave. During my previous appointment, they overinflated my tires by ten pounds, which is over the manufacturer's limit.
Definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing, no integrity or morals, just more and more tactics to get over and charge you more for less
Definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing, no integrity or morals, just more and more tactics to get over and charge you more for less. My experience at this dealership was the ultimate deception and probably my worst experience with making a purchase on a vehicle, and I have brought many vehicles. However, this is the one deal I will stand up until the end. I plan on changing this type of experience with dealerships and starting to make more requirements be put in place with financial institutions so consumers are not getting bad deals and paying for lemons. Someone has to be accountable for these types of schemes and fraudulent deals that should not be happening in the first place.
Very unprofessional and horrible customer service!
Very unprofessional and horrible customer service! I was at the dealership all day signing paperwork and they told me to call and add the car to my insurance. After 5.5 hours, when my ride came to pick up my old car, they suddenly told me I needed a cosigner. If I needed one, it wouldn't have been a problem. I was aggravated and asked for all the paperwork I signed since my bank and personal info were on it. They refused and said it was their paperwork. I then asked for a copy and they rudely said they didn't have to give me anything. I went straight to another Toyota dealer and got a new car with a better rate in just 2 hours. Later that night, they called me at 9:30 PM asking if they could give me the first deal they promised, but it was too late. I wouldn't even buy a bottle of water from them.
I had to leave work early today to return the stolen car I was driving
I had to leave work early today to return the stolen car I was driving. Yes, true story. Toyota of Runnemede sold me a stolen vehicle. Apparently, it was stolen, sold, and then sold again at auction where Toyota bought it. Then, they sold it to me. When they began processing the car sale/loan, it was flagged as stolen. I had to take it back, immediately, so the state police could take possession of it. So, in addition to the fact that we had to replace nicks car also this weekend, we have purchased three new cars in four days. We have sat in dealerships for 13 hours in four days. All Toyota of Runnemede can offer us for their blunder and our trouble is one, single free oil change. And I had to ask for that. UPDATE: I flagged down a manager to complain about the lousy compensation and he offered me a $500 credit for their service center. ?
My daughter and son-in-law traded in their car and traded the car that I signed to my daughter
My daughter and son-in-law traded in their car and traded the car that I signed to my daughter. At first, the car they sold was fine. They accepted the title of the Toyota Highlander that I gave my daughter, and my daughter and her husband were happy. Within two weeks, they called my daughter and said the car was reported stolen and that they had to return the car. They, in turn, gave a car that was originally a rental and a mess. That was in October, and they called in December to advise that they were holding the official license and owner's cards until they have a clear title on the Toyota. They demanded that we secure a death certificate and a short form for my husband, who died 10 years ago. In my lifetime, I have bought new cars and used cars and have never had such problems and rude people like the people at Runnemede Toyota. Toyota Corp. should do something about this problem.
I went to Toyota of Runnemede to get an oil change for my leased car
I went to Toyota of Runnemede to get an oil change for my leased car. It was about 2/3 of the way through the lease, and I was planning to buy it at the end. However, I wasn't aware of all the details at that time. The sales staff noticed this and started pressuring me about going over the mileage limit. They kept insisting that I should turn in the car right away and get a new one. I repeatedly told them that I didn't want a new car, I just wanted to buy the one I had at the end of the lease. But they confused me and made me panic, so I ended up signing to terminate the lease and buy the car for a price that was similar to what it was worth over 2 years ago when it was brand new. I had already paid around $12,000 for the lease. They made me believe that it was my only option. Now I know that if I had kept the car, the mileage wouldn't have mattered, and I could have bought it in December at the end of the lease for $17,304.50 if they had just left me alone. So I really got screwed.
If you're lookin for great customer service, then look elsewhere
If you're lookin for great customer service, then look elsewhere. 1. Processin follow-on actions like payin off yer lean on a trade-in and havin yer new registration completed before yer temporary tags expire is somehow foreign to them or was to complicated to perform without repeated communication with them. 2. Follow-up communication is next to non-existent in their employee handbook. 3. They actually sold me a warranty on a vehicle with-over 18 months + 60k miles remainin on a *** bumper to bumper remainin warranty their excuse 3 days afterwards when I canx it was we didnt know, you think I was expectin them to explain physics to me. Any reasonable dealer sales team would never have made that ridiculous statement. 4. Its as I was in a tootsie pop commercial findin out how many licks to the center.. trust me when I say it took 2 visits, numerous calls, emails and over 24 days to see actual action on a the dealer to canx that purchased warranty, 32 days to receive my tags/registration and over 26 days for them to payoff that trade ins lien. 5. Toyota may make a good vehicle (I traded in my 4Runner for that *** Titan), but not all dealerships are the same and you should avoid Toyota of Runnemede if you prefer better all around dealer service.
Worst customer service and follow up I ever experienced purchasing vehicles
Worst customer service and follow up I ever experienced purchasing vehicles. We got a commercial fleet of over 20 vehicles, and several more personal vehicles for family use. My father and I went in and bought 1 truck for personal use and 1 truck as a company vehicle. After some miscommunication about the title and registration for the company vehicle, it's been a disaster trying to fix. Apparently the in-house title clerk I was talking to before is no longer with them, which I get. However, nobody ever followed up with us to tell us they wouldn't even try to help us fix the title/registration issues. After many tries in person, a manager gave me his card and said he would follow up with me personally, guess what, not even a call back. When I arrived in person again today, someone was absolutely rude and dismissive. After basically begging, they searched and found the wrong title just sitting in a drawer at the dealership, but nobody was ever going to call me back about it. (At least I now have the wrong title in hand, but was rudely told it's my problem to go fix.) Toyota trucks are great machines, but I highly recommend you buy yours from anyone but these guys.

On July 22, I went to Toyota of Runnemede to buy a new car
On July 22, I went to Toyota of Runnemede to buy a new car. I offered them a 2016 Jeep Compass and a 2018 Toyota Highlander as trade-ins. The Jeep had a loan with ***. The dealership agreed to take both cars and said they would pay off the Jeep loan. They also agreed to take over the lease for the Highlander without any fees for ending it early. I told them that Toyota Financial Corporation hadn't received the lease termination yet, so I still had to make payments. When I checked with ***, they told me that the loan hadn't been paid off either. To protect my credit, I made a payment to Toyota Financial, and I have another payment due to *** before the end of August. I would appreciate any help in getting these loans paid off and getting my extra lease payment back.
I bought my car 3 years ago and got Toyota care included until 25k
I bought my car 3 years ago and got Toyota care included until 25k. Today, I went to service my car for Toyota care, but they told me it's over because I went over the 25k. My car had 27,479 and the tech said I'm at 30k. So, I had to pay $69.99 for this service. I paid it without any problem, but I don't understand why. I bought my car 3 years ago and had Toyota care until 25k. I went to service my car today and they told me I need to pay because I'm at 27,479. Toyota's care is up to 25k, but the tech said I'm now at 30k and charged me $69.99. I paid it, but I need clarification. Is this correct? If it's a mistake, I want a refund. Yes, I was a little over the mileage, but the dealers were closed for a few weeks due to COVID-19. So, I couldn't go until they reopened and I had the time. Is it fair to penalize me for being a little over the mileage? Thanks, Toyota Care.
I went to the local Toyota dealer and was surprised to discover a deceptive situation
I went to the local Toyota dealer and was surprised to discover a deceptive situation. I instantly fell in love with a stylish Camry. However, after waiting for four long hours, I finally entered the finance department. To my dismay, I was deceived. They informed me that a "paper" contract was necessary for Toyota Corporation's protection, in addition to the extra money I owed. Unbeknownst to me, the paper contract was destroyed. I signed what I believed to be an agreement for extended warranties. Due to heavy rain, I hadn't test-driven the car yet, and I have physical limitations that the sales staff witnessed. They assured me that the Camry was identical to my current vehicle, but this couldn't be further from the truth. When I returned to discuss my options, they suggested using a golf club to reach the car door if I couldn't physically do so. Considering my weakened left arm, hand, and side due to breast cancer surgery, this was highly insensitive. Toyota of Runnemede has now refused to cancel the contract, even though they possess $15,000 and the car. This car is clearly not suitable for my limitations in terms of model or style. Toyota Financial informed me that the contract can be easily canceled, but the dealer claims they are unwilling to do so. Today, I was called a liar and blamed for my unfortunate situation. I feel deeply deceived.

My wife and I bought vehicles from Toyota Runnemede on Sept 6
My wife and I bought vehicles from Toyota Runnemede on Sept 6. To date my wife's registration has not come in and they are telling customers that the state of *** has given extensions for expired temporary registration which is not true. Then today Saturday Nov 13 I went in Toyota bc my registration was finally in. Upon my arrival there were no available parking spaces. I parked past service area next to other cars. As I walked up to the door a service employee told me he was doing to tow my car bc its a fire lane. Note there were cars all parked in alignment along this non marked fire lane. When I said I'm a customer and picking up my registration he continued to run his mouth. When I repeated that I'm a customer he said he didn't care. Then I walked inside and spoke to who I thought was a manager and he began giving me an attitude for having something to say about his employee. He then you could calm down. I said I am calm and he said you're all agitated. I said should I not be? He said no why don't you take a pill! This was on the sales room floor! The service guy was completely rude and out of line and in no way should approach a customer that way. You can't make up rules as you go along. It was ok for other unoccupied cars to be parked where I parked but I can't park there for 5 minutes to run in and get the tags I've been waiting on for 2.5 months? Then for the manager to speak and act like that to a customer is completely unacceptable. If I say to a manager that he may want to speak with an employee about how he talks to people I don't expect a cocky response and telling me to take a pill? Is Toyota Runnemede ok with this behavior of its employees? I want to hear from the general manager or top person in charge. This is completely unacceptable.
