On 11/22/13 last year I purchased six (6) strings of "300 Mini Icicle Lights, High Density" from "Home Accents". Within 2-3 weeks of use, several strands of lights on three (3) of the sets (i.e. 50% of my light sets) became defective. I though I had a whole year to make use of the warranty, so I casually waited until June 2014 to make use of the warranty. When I went to Home Depot to report the three (3) sets of defective lights and return the lights under the 1 year warranty, Home Depot told me to contact the manufacturer, which is "Home Accents". However, "Home Accents" does not have a website, or a helpline. I kept all my boxes, plus the instructions, and my receipt. However, even the instructions do NOT contain any information to contact Home Accents for using the one (1) year warranty. Therefore, the one (1) year warranty for "Home Accents - Holiday" lights is BOGUS. If you wait longer than 90 days, which is Home Depot's limit to return an item, then you are stuck with the item. Buy a product from a company that will actually stand by its product and its warranty.

It has taken me about 3 hrs of researching but i found who the manufacturer is for home Depot home accents holiday lights. I started by researching the UL approved number and then took it from there. Long story short the manufacturer is TOYO electric mfg. co. ltd. They are headquartered in Japan! If you just research their name barely any information comes up but if you search their name and put home accents holiday after their name you will be very surprised with what comes up.
you have to take the lights back quickly, i made the mistake in buying "good" led lights that lasted only a few weeks.
Bought a Home Accents 9 foot inflatable Santa Claus and put it in the closet as we were gone for Christmas. Took it out of the box 2 nights ago and set him up. Stayed on about 3 - 4 hours each night. Tonight his light came on but the fan would not work. Called Home Depot to no avail. Only a 90 day warranty, didn't matter that you can look at it and see it is brand new. Have the box, plastic, everything. Do not buy this brand of junk unless you want to just throw away your money.
hmm, interesting situations, , , , , i bought a string of C3 lights in 2019 and went to put them up this year(thxgiving 2021) only every 9th light glowed dimly...-i went to home depot and they told me call the number...meanwhile i bought some regular lights (TY-50SM-M) since they were the only thing left in multi color, , , , they lasted about four days and now when the timer is off they glow bright if you reverse the plug, , , , other times 2/3 of the string lights and if you reverse the plug the other 1/3 lights...
addendum, , , , , now they barely light at all
