In my opinion, I would not recommend buying your families certified car from the Asbury Automotive Group.
The Asbury Automotive Group have the best trained salesmen to take your money and close the deal. But, if you have any problem with your families certified vehicle you will not get a phone call back (after leaving messages) or a solution to your families certified car problem (I took our family certified car four times to a authorized dealer - still has the same problem, sent a number fax letters to Asbury Automotive Group corporate office after finding out the "local" dealership has no decision making ability if the car has a problem, and I wrote a letter to the MFG corporate office).
Here is how it works, the MFG will tell you (and I am paraphrasing), we MFG cars and sell to independent owned dealerships and we don't have your money. So, you have to work it out with the independently owned dealership.
Before you buy your families certified car - research the Asbury Automotive Group. I would suggest you buy your families car from a locally owned automobile dealer who can make decisions if your families car has problems based on keeping customers happy - not, keep stock holders happy.
I will continue updating everyone monthly on my families nightmare certified vehicle that purchased from the Asbury Automotive Group.

We were interested in a used hybrid vehicle from Apple Honda. We were shown a filthy, dirty vehicle with missing trim. We were assured the vehicle would be delivered to us in two days time “like new.” We were assured that the car had blue tooth technology and that it was clean pass certified.
After paying cash for the vehicle, I came to find out that the car still had a large ink stain on the back seat, a chocolate stain on the back seat headliner, the trim was STILL missing, the car was NOT clean pass certified and the blue tooth was missing.
I was told to bring the car in, by the General Sales Manager, for the car to be cleaned, trim to be replaced and the blue tooth to be installed. When I brought the car in, the service department was not even aware of me and didn’t have me on the appointment schedule. They did fit me in, and gave me a FILTHY loaner (sticky seats, crumbs all over the place, cigarettes and garbage in the consoles and glove compartment) that they said I might have for a day at the most.
We have been REPEATEDLY lied to about the status of the repair. In trying to backpedal, they lie more. Finally, after having the loaner for over a week (longer than I drove the car I bought before I brought it in for service), we started to complain. We were met with rudeness, more lies and my husband was even cursed at by the Service Manager and told that if he kept acting like an a$$hole that “we’d get less than nothing from them.”
I immediately went to the dealer in person to complain. The sales manager told me that I was “lucky to even have a car to drive from them” and when I complained about the amount of gas this loaner uses compared to the hybrid that I bought for economic reasons, he thought throwing money at me was the answer. When I said that would “help” he was AGHAST that money did not solve the problem.
Needless to say, I was AGAIN promised my car for today. I’m still waiting. I don’t expect it, or a check, or anything else from these rude men. Do not deal with any of them, especially their incompetent, lying, service department. If I could tell them to keep the car and get my money back at this point, I would.

My name is sssubbarao staying at Secunderabad and purchased a Honda activa 2 wheeler from Pratul Automobiles Pvt ltd, 6-3-899/1, Rajbhavan road, Somajiguda hyderabad on, vide receiipt noc1/4304 dated6-8-2012. The engine no is J44E2190657 AND chasis no is ME4JC447GC8079445.. THIS VEHICLE is giving trouble from sep 12 onwards while driving. It suddenly stops and do not start either on self or quick start. so i have to take it to service station in rajbhavan road. They will repair it and hand over o me. Again after a month same trouble occurs and go to service station . This has happened 9 to 10 times and i have contaced the honda service head and Hemant kumar several times. they will instruct the service station to repair. They are telling that the fault is in Battery. The final service is also over and one year is also going to be completed by 6th of august next month .I want to know whether the same defective battery is to be continued and trouble me every month as i am a senior citizen of over 65 years or they will replace it next time. why should honda company supply defective vehicles and trouble people like me.

I have purchase new HONDA [UNICORN] MH 03 BK 3404 in oct 2012 & getting serviced as per the schedule at PILOT HONDA SERVICE CENTER, Govandi chembur. from very first service front disc brake malfunction [getting jam] was shown to your service advisor & same was not attended properly.the said malfunctioning was persist still last fourth free service done on 27/05/2013 & noticed by your service advisor & Mr Bhor.
On last free service your advisor call me that your brake disc is damaged[out] & asked me to pay for new disc replacement. I got sudden shocked.as it is manufacturing defect i refuse to pay for same.it should be replaced free of cost. The above matter discussed with your Mr Bhor but he also refused to replaced the same, his logic was that you have not purchased bike from us; so we cannot replaced the same [ second shock].
As per my knowledge HONDA INDIA has deputed PILOT HONDA for get their vehicles service properly, the bike not belong to PILOT HONDA. as above mention problem persist from beginning why your mechanic/advisor unable to identified problem since first service [unskilled mechanics] or deliberately delayed for getting money.it is also observed that your people at service center are indulging in other activities to get money rather than doing proper services of bikes.
Secondly At your service center vehicles are not cleaned properly [ ref attachment], on fourth free service [27/05/13] i got call that your vehicle is ready you can collect the same.while taking delivery again bike was not cleaned properly, shown to Mr Bhor. he ordered their people to clean it again but there was no use.
I was present at your service center from 12.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs & bike get cleaned thrice but no use, I leave your center with dirty bike at 15.00 hrs [ dirty bike shown to Mr Bhor] That means every time bike owners should go to your wash room for cleaning of bikes Before giving delivery it should be checked properly.[POOR WORKMAN SHIP] by service advisor but which is not happening.
The front disc brake getting jam & affects the performance of vehicle. now rainy season starts, there may be a chance of an accident for which you will be solely responsible.again i requesting you to look into the matter & replace brake disc free of cost as early as possible. your reply is awaited.
I had given my bike Honda-Shine for servicing in morning at the above said dealer on the day 15th April, 2014.When I had given the bike, the bike after servicing, showed the meter reading as xxx108 km.The evening bike was brought home some 3 kilometers away from the servicing station.I found that the speedometer is not indicating. The bike is showing the reading of xxx316 km as of now.Service

I, A. Mishra sole owner of Honda Activa ( Model Code: SCV110B, Frame No.:ME4JC44 8EC7367818, Engine No.:JC44E 5367916 ) that I bought last year 18th May, 2012 still under warranty policies is here to bring in notice that I bought the vehicle from “ BEEAAR HONDA, Lucknow” . Within few days of the first month the smoothness went away till date there have been 4 free services (last on 8th March, 2013 at Jugal Kishore Service Station ) after every service there’s same problem being faced by me some disc scratching sound from the rear wheel. The side stand broke without any accident so far and I had to pay for it which should have been replaced under warranty policies ever service I brought into notice that the seat lock is not working I have to face problem in putting the lock but that too was changed and I was charged . The rear wheel manufactured by MRF but given by HONDA to me is defective and as per company claims it has tuff puff tires but I got damaged tire and a local tube its unappreciated We pay the company for a perfect vehicle and good service, if there’s any manufacture defect or a vehicle that has been driven by multiple customer for a test drive and now being sold to a new customer and parts damaged during that event is to be paid by the customer, rather the company should take actions and unorthodox pattern of service is given at “Beeaar Honda Service Station” where a customer is standing and no one to attend and staff people having gala time this kind of gesture and presentation is harming and did harm the face of the company, due to which I had to go to another service station .As a customer of your company product Honda Activa I have bills regarding the fixation that has been made at my expenses to be refunded and my vehicle to be fixed at a proper time duration otherwise I am not here to entertain such service and will be forced to higher authorities and problem may occur at both the ends.

This is to bring to your kind notice that after several visit to your showroom and telephonic talk to your concern person you are not able to resolve the following problem and if these matters are not sorted out I will be forced to file a case in consumer forum and I am mentally harassed by your fraud and continued cheating act to fool the innocent customer after all the commitment in black and white and recorded statement.
I purchased BRIO EXMT CAR (engine no L12B32006551 CHASIS NO: MAKDD171MCN101051, TEMP REGISTRATION NO OF VEHICLE HR 99 NL 4434) from your show room on 31/12/2017 as per the record and paid rs 10, 000 by cheque on 11/12/2017 (RECIEPT NO 15416 ) and rs 110450 on 31/12/2017 (RECEIPT NO 16232). The Cost of the vehicle was rs 4, 20, 000 on road with insurance, and registration and road tax, PU leather seat cover worth Rs 5800, and two years extended warranty worth rs 7600. The rest of the money Rs 3, 50, 000 was financed bythe SBI. The total money paid by me to pearl Honda rs 120, 450 and rs 3, 50000 was financed by the SBI.
1. The Excess money charged Rs 50450 and out of which Rs 46546 was refunded by the dealer after several visit and complain lodged at the customer care. Still the balance Rs 3904 has to be refunded by the dealer and extra money (Rs 50450) is kept by the dealer for one month and interest on this money has to be paid by the dealer to me.
2. The two years extended warranty was not provided by the dealer for which they have shown Rs 7, 600 in the booking statement but they have not been given to me so far and hence please refund this amount in cash.
3. The PU leather seat cover is not provided by the dealer worth Rs 5600 and instead they charged me for the fabric cover for Rs 3499. Hence please refund this amount rs 5, 5800 in cash.
4. The permanent registration of the vehicle is not done by the dealer as promised and already one month and 25 days are over and this registration has to be done by the dealer immediately or money has to be refunded to me immediately.
Already I have wasted one month and five days but still I am giving you one week time to act and sort out this matter at your end otherwise I will be forced to go to consumer forum and file a case against you and also the mental harassment done to me.

Subject to IRRESPONSIBLE REPLY FROM DEALER STAFF.I have experienced the same as I have purchased the bike Pleasure in a month of May in last year ( MH-18, AG-2142, District-Dhule, Maharashtra) from the dealer viz. Navkar Wheels. I am facing the problem of hissing noise in front wheel so i just complained it in the first servicing dated 29/06/2012 of the moped & service center people done some temporary work & the noise went out. But later after 1 to 2 months the problem continues.. Same for the left side damaged body strip I have complained & informed people in second servicing dated 27/08/2012 from that day still we did not get any response from service people. Every time the answer was " Sir we don't have that strip so we will get that from company & call you" But still date we did not get any call or reply from them. Also the accessories provided with bike are too much low quality as the steel guard we have purchased get rusted within two to three months. Kindly look in to the matter & resolve the problem at the earliest otherwise we have complaint to Customer forum for the same. If we will get such services.

bad tires, bad service
Although Jon my service guy was very nice and polite, he didn’t seem able to have the power or ability to actually help me with the service my car required. I had explained to them about the loud grinding noise I was hearing from the back tires even before the last state inspection (which I brought to their service dept to perform and they passed with flying colors)
After waiting 2 hours while having one of their techs look at the tires they said the tires were making the noise since they were so worn down. They said they checked the bearings and they appeared tight and ok. I asked about the problem being that there was an alignment issue and was told they did not look at that and they felt it was just the tires being worn down.
During my state inspection in September with them, which was many months after hearing that noise in the back and no one ever said the tires were wearing down and I should have the rotated or need a possible alignment?! I asked them to switch out the tires and put on new ones and take the car for a road test just to rule out bad bearings being the issue. They made me wait another 1/2 hour to do this, we took the car for a road test and of course there was no noise as the tech explained that I needed new tires and the bearings were not the problem.
Well I already was aware of that fact but I was there to find out why the tires were wearing down so fast in the first place since the life expectancy was 40, 000 miles! Both Jon and the Tech, Steve, explained to me that the Goodyear Tires they use on their cars are soft and wear down quickly (the same that are on my car) and they have to change them on their own cars every 12, 000 – 24, 000 miles even though the tires claim to last 40, 000 miles. I wonder if they use the tire warranty to get their free tires to replace the ones they replace? FYI: They also said they use these tires for quiet and comfort sake (translation: so they can sell more cars). They did not even offer my any discount on their tires nor anything else that might help me with this problem and let me leave their service dept with the problem I came in there expecting to be rectified after waiting 3 ½ hours. Seems to me these tires were worn out at that time they performed their state inspection since the noise was coming from the back of the car then. How could they have passed it? Why won’t they honor the warranty and replace these “bad tires” with new ones? Why do I have to fight for this?
As soon as I gave Auto Fair Honda my feedback on January 8, 2013, I got an email from their Public Relations Manager, Austin Rush. I explained the how I was treated by their service techs and what I was told about their shoddy tires they put on their “New Cars” and told him they should be offering to replace all four of my tires for free! I have a 7/70, 000 mile warranty on this car, I only have 24, 000 miles on it and this noise has been persistent even before the last auto inspection they performed and passed my cars with flying colors(including tire wear) in September 2013. He is suppose to be working with Honda at this moment to get me my complimentary new tires but is saying it is going to take a couple of days. You would think they would be working a bit harder to take care of their customers.
Now I am riding on unsafe tires that could cause more problems with the car and possibly be a safety issue to me and my family all because AutoFair Honda neglected to take care of their customer. I’ll keep you on the update as to what Mr. Rush comes up with to rectify this problem.

The subject two-wheeler viz. TN 23 AM 2516 has left with the above dealer (M/s Ganesh Motors, New Bye-Pass Road, Vellore Tamilnadu) for repairs and services under their job card No.5304 on 09/01/13. In this connection, the Assessor, representing M/s New India Assurance Co. Ltd, Vellore has already assessed the damages to the two wheeler on 11/01/13. I have tried on 18/01/13 and today morning i.e 21/01/13 at Service Centre, Ganesh Motors, the supervisor, the technician hiding themselves in the shed and simply got back with no proper information about the vehicle. Today evening at 5.30 pm (21/01/13 I phoned up to the dealers in their No.[protected], the girl one who attended the call in the service shed never received the details about job card number and she asked me to give her my mobile number and not informed about the stage of repair to my vehicle. I Mr. Rahul Bhanudas Chandanshive would like to bring to your notice the nightmare I am going through with the newly purchased Honda Unicorn bike bearing chassis number ME4KC09CK8355607 and Engine Number KC09E6363291 from your dealer Vihaan Enterprises Pvt Ltd situated at Soham Plaza, Ghodbunder Road, Chitalsar, Manpada, Thane W – 400 607 on 12th Nov 2012.
28th Oct 2012 was the date I had booked the above said bike, which was delivered to me on 12th Nov 2012. First of all, the staff at Vihaan Enterprises lacks coordination among each other. For instance every time I visited the showroom I was serviced by a different executive and never given a clear picture of the status of my bike / delivery. I was called to the showroom on 16th Nov to report any issues with the bike but to my surprise I was greeted by the Security guy at the gate and he tells me the showroom is closed for the day. (Diwali Holiday).
After getting the bike delivered, I realize the bike petrol tank had a painting defect; there were bubbles on it. The front disc brake and pads were defected. I brought this to the notice of the Showroom Owner Mr. Kishore Sejwani and he assures me that the defect shall be taken care of and the tank would be changed once they get another bike from the company (Honda – Gurgaon). After repeated follow ups I was called to the showroom on 24th Nov 2012 and then taken to their godown at Kalher. Again to my surprise I see the mechanic takes out a petrol tank from another brand new bike and replaces it with my bike and fits my defected tank to that brand new bike. Also my complete bike lock set was replaced with that bikes set. Does this mean your dealer will now sell that defected bike to another customer? Was my bike also treated the same in the past? The problem has not yet been solved and this is taking at toll my on job as I have to take half days and go to your dealer to get my New bike REPAIRED……!
I am really surprised and shocked to see this sort of practice happening at such a renowned dealer of HONDA…….
I would appreciate if some one from the Honda Company looks into the matter and helps me in sorting this issue, as I have invested my hard earned monies in this bike. My contact details are mentioned below.

Me also facing so many issues with this bike which was purchased on OCT 2012.
They swaped mono suspension with a new bike to me.becuase it was defective after riding few kolometers.Now also the issue is not yet solved am suffering severe back pain due to this issue and am using old MAX100 bike borrowed from a friend for the last 2 weeks.
Out of 8 compalints i hv reported to delaer, is not yet solved even after 3 services within this 2 month period of purchase.
It became a nightmare for me and waiting for a reply from Honda for the letter i sent to them last day.I think i hv to move legally!
One thing i realized is the quality is fell down totally with this bike..!

2012 honda accord drivers side seat back is causing extreme back pain
I have had my new 2012 Honda Accord less than a week with less than 100 miles and I can not driver it without having mid to lower back pain. The seat feel like there is a large rock in the drivers side set back. I called my “sales consultant” to complain and he acted very surprised by the complaint. He claimed that there have been no complaints about the seat and it was one of the most comfortable seat in the market. I regret I purchased my Honda Accord.

My 1998 Accord paint is terrible and has been this way for a few years. Other owners have complained about this but no one at Honda has given us any help or ideas. This car should be recalled for this serious paint problem.
