zingers and ding dong
I brought a box of Zingers which 8 out of 10 was very small and didn't have any filling in them. Also brought a box of ding dong and the first one I pulled out to eat it didn't have any filling in it. Very disappointed in the quality of Hostess and this should have been caught before getting out to the customers. Best by May 29 2019 . [protected] package in the 1400 hour.Thank you.

Stale
Second time I've purchased these only to be stale.
Don't know how much more information you need.
Bought these on April 9 and they were stale when I got home.
Stale & dry.
Stale. Stale. Stale. Stale. Stale. Stale. Stale.
Poor quality. Poor quality. Poor quality. Poor quality.
Please note these were awful.
Stale. Again.
hostess ding dongs
I just bought two boxes (10 count each) of Hostess Ding Dongs. This is my favorite Hostess snack food. I was so disappointed by this product and I have never been disappointed before. The cake was dry and there is no filling to speak of inside. What a waste of money. Is this something new? If so, I will not buy this product any longer. Please tell me you are correcting this. I wasted good money buying this. My photo of the product and the photo on the box are very different.
Sincerely,
Kelly Helms

What on Earth did you do to Hostess Cakes? If your object was to stop making these products, you are succeeding. Zingers used to be a wonderful treat. Yuck! Flat, gummy, awful. Ding Dongs were my favorite. They are hardly recognizable. Flat, not much filling, and icing is dreadful. Most fell off. Won't have to waste my money on any Hostess Cakes. They should be off the shelves in no time. Whoever gave you advice must have wanted you to fail.
raspberry zingers
What did you guys do to this product? The cake is rubbery and the raspberry coconut topping is gummy. Yuk! Your products have really fell all the way off. The cupcakes are nasty. The apple pies are nasty. The zingers are nasty. The donuts are nasty. The twinkies are nasty. I will not be purchasing anything from Hostess again. It hurts my little heart because I LOVED HOSTESS ANYTHING when I was a kid. It was sooo good...now, not so much.
dingdongs/hohos
Not only are the producrs now shipped in plastic wrapers they are now smaller and the chocalate on the dingdongs cracked and dry. Half of the chocalate sticks to the wrappers and the cream fillings are often off center. When wraped in the foil much better quality products.
I dod not buy the twinke any more due to the taste. I do not know what changd but they taste bad now. Also reduce cream filling is there. The last box I bought about 1/3 had no filling at all.
The hoho or swiss cakes are suffering geh same fate of the dingdongs.
Fudge covered twinkies
You should be ashamed of yourselves. If you call yourselfs Hostess than why are you making GARBAGE. How SAD. Bought a box of Chocodiles. Hadn't had one in years.
How could you make rubber crap and have the nerve to call it a TWINKIE.
Last time I had a Twinkie, it was a real one. The so called cream inside was as big as my little finger. The cake itself that used to be soft and spongey RUBBER.
Wow what a disapointment The picture on the box of a real Twinkie is a Sham.

hostess mint cupcakes
I bought a box of Hostess Mint Cupcakes from my local Wal-Mart in Indiana. However I found 3 cupcakes that didn't have any filling in the center of the cupcake. This was very disappointing when one of the 3 happened to be the first one I tried. I'm sorry to say I won't be purchasing anothee box due to the fact I'm a little uncertained it may be the same way.

I have brought 3 bags in a week 2 at one store 1 at another store. All 3 bags are dried stale hard. What has happened. They they are gross now. The dates on all of them have be for march of 2019 but they taste like march of 2018. Fix these nasty things. I grew on on these. My kids like them but they are not good. Would like a refund because they are a waste of money. Try again. Let someone one taste test it first or something.
suzy q's
please return to the original cream filling recipe. It was lighter in texture and better than the current filling. The cake was fixed and returned to the original recipe but now filling is too dense and sugary, not like it was years ago. People that grew up on your products don't appreciate the changes. And yes, customers can tell the difference. It would probably be cheaper to make it the original way as well
product not in half and no sprinkles
I have bought a box of Valentine Ding dongs as I opened one it was cut in half and the other half was gone. I could not believe what I saw . Looked like someone cut and had no sprinkles. I cant believe this is the type of product you sell. Think you should get what you pay for and not half the product. I don't understand how people would let product go out like this. I didnt even want to eat the half ding dong. Just cause the box shows a half does not mean I should get half. I would like to get what I paid for and get my box full with full size ding dongs.
twinkies
It's a good thing that my husband looks at his food before eating it because there is something black on the bottom of the Twinkie he opened to eat this morning. He isn't the type of person who wants something for nothing, he just wants make others aware of things that have happened and be treated/compensated fairly. I will attach 2 pictures to this email of the Twinkie with identifying markers from the box in which it came from, if any further information is needed please let me know. Thank you
suzzy - q's cakes
Yesterday " Jan 16th 2019" i bought a box of Suzzy-Q's later that night i opened the box and took one out. When i opened it is seemed to be overly dry. I took a bit and it was. I don't remember these being that way, but i continued to eat it. Later last night i started bolting and had gas really bad. I went to the box and looked at it for a date. When i found it it read Oct. 14th 2018. That 3 month past due on expiration. A week or two past due, i might see a over look. But 3 months that is pour neglect. It's now 20 hours later and my stomach is still upset. I bought this at a Dollar Store in Sargent, Texas. I will be posting this to face book telling everyone to share this and tell everyone to check the dates because your people evidently don't know how. It's not like your product is setting on a full row of shelving like at Walmart Heb or Kroger. At this dollar Store this is setting a little wire rack 4ft tall and 2 ft wide.
orange cupcakes
I love Hostess and orange flavored products.
These cupcakes are rock hard and do not seem as though they should have been sold in the store. This is not a desirable product at all.
I don't know if this product is past its sell-by date or not.
These taste awful and I would never buy them again. I am so disappointed.

sno ball cakes
I purchased 3 snow ball cakes today at my local dollar general. The shelf was empty so I asked the clerk for more and she said they just got a delivery in today so she got a new box from a bin and i purchased the 3. When I got home I opened the first pack and it tasted really dry and gross so I tossed it to the dogs. The second pack the same. I looked at the Best Buy date and it is November 27 2018. Today's date is December 16th 2018. I would like a full refund, or 3 packs of fresh snoball cakes. I am calling my local Dollar general so they can pull that "new box" from the shelf.
hohos
This isn't the first box I have bought where the chocolate was old and cracked. I bought these on 12/3/18 and the expiration date is 1/10/19. After reading some of the complaints, I guess I should be lucky it is just old chocolate I am complaining about.
I do agree that the quality is not like it use to be. Having a Ding Dong, donut, cupcake or and hostess product use to be a real treat growing up but now it is a big disappointment.
I am done buying Hostess products and need to find another snack company that sells fresh items.
double chocolate chip muffins
I purchased two Hostess Double Chocolate muffins on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Circle K store in Dublin, GA. One for myself and one for my daughter. Later the same day, when she returned home from school, I gave her one of the muffins. After she had taken a few bites, she brought the muffin back to me and wanted to know what the light colored substance was inside the muffin. Upon further examination, I was surprised to discover MOLD growing on the inside of the muffin and on a portion of the outside. I took the wrapper out of the trash and realized it had an expiration date of November 14, 2018. The other muffin had an expiration date of December 9, 2018 so I gave her the fresh, unmolded muffin. I enjoy Hostess products and prefer them over Little Debbie products. This is an isolated incident I have experienced with Hostess products, and I hope it remains an isolated incident. But, the fact remains that this was a negligent act on the part of the Hostess representative and company. I still have the best wrapper, muffin, and receipt of purchase. My daughter did not get ill, but I would like to be refunded my money, and would like to hear from somebody from the Hostess company. Thanks in advance for any communication from an employee of Hostess.
hostess donettes
Hello I just purchased these powdered donuts at quikmart in Tucson Arizona in Broadway and the quality of the donuts was bad they were stail and hard. I brought them for a couple friends and 2 of 5 got a stomach ache (yikes) . I would really appreciate a refund or a gift card at least. They are my favorite and I was very disappointed. We didn't enjoy them at all!
twinkies and cakes
In the past couple weeks my 3 local stores have all had out of date product..the furthest out were June/July 2018 sell by dates. I'm very disappointed that the local route driver/representative is not making sure that these Dollar General stores..there are 3 on NC HWY 67 in Yadkin county NC.. have fresh product. My wife an I are fans of the Twinkies so I wanted to contact you to let you know about this issue.
Thank you
