I called the reservation number on a website for Western Hotel in Alberta. I soon realized that this reservation number was not the correct number for Western reservation. I soon realized after contacting the hotel and visa that I was not using the official website and your number on the web was able to redirect me to the official Western website. When I made the Western reservation office they assured me that there would be no charge and yet the next day, April 6, there was a charge pf $7.06 from HOTELBEDS. I have contacted the hotel directly and the official Western reservation desk, and they said they have no idea where a call comes from so they can honestly say that there will be no charge. Visa assures me that if my charge is not refunded immediately, they will initiate a fraud charge. I never gave them my Visa # and never gave them permission to use it, but some how they were dishonest and fraudulent.
Also I prefer communicating by phone but since you do provide an 800 number, I am not prepared to pay to correct this problem. My
