I went to the Ihop in Cedar Hill and no one was at the front and I had to grab my own menu. Everyone was standing around talking...one young lady passed right by me and never asked if I needed help. I don't know what type of customer service this is but it is no good...I had to leave the establishment, call the restaurant, ask for the manager to see if I could come to get waited on.

Still waiting for the waiter (yes, not a single waitress at this location) at this IHOP restaurant 6289 Fallsview Blvd, Niagara Falls, Canada, writing my very first complain against an IHOP which is supposed to be one of our favorite restaurants for many years. iHOP was our weekly go-to place when we lived in NY. First of all, while I was parking my car, my wife was pushing the baby and struggling to come up the the restaurant which offers no ramp, there were 3 persons standing at the front only busy texting and gave my wife a look and offered no help, after fighting for about 8 steps with the baby, one of them simply asked, need a table? Then we had to flag the waiter for coffee, we ordered a chicken noodle soup but it came with a tea spoon, we then asked for a soup spoon twice, never came, so we started to eat the soup but was room temperature, very disappointed.
I asked for a manager to complain, a young waiter name Derek said there was no manager, needless to say, we did not enjoy the time there, . Since we sat in the front, we saw customers came and left since no one greeted them.
We also offered no compensation, not that I care too much, but it tells me they didn't admit any wrongdoing.

I stopped by store #3132 in Chicago near the Ford City Mall to get a meal for me and my 3 grandchildren. We ordered our food an when it came I new immediately that the food was bad.My 2 grandchildren ordered the pancakes with the whip cream on top it was all over the plate it was slimy and disc usting, the eggs looked to be about a day old, they were a brownish color and rock hard.I complained to our waitress and she said the eggs looked old.The bacon was old as well, I still hadn't received my meal yet, but when I did I was mortified at what was sitting in front of me, the eggs again old and hard, the sausage was the same the stuff French toast was ice cold, and the hashbrowns seemed to have been reheated in a microwave. I tapped my fork on them and you could hear a clinking sound I flipped the hash browns over and they were pitch black at the bottom, again I complained and I told them we would not be eating any of that food.I have been to your restaurants many times and this is the worst IHOP I have ever been too.And the loud rap music didn't help either.Im considering calling the health department because this restaurant is defrauding customers and serving them bad food. Food should be made fresh and for them to give my grandchildren old, stale food is appalling. And I'm not excepting that.
I would have never believed this was possible until I seen it with my Own eyes, even the waitress was upset when she looked at our plates.She said she was embarrassed by the food. And she understood why I was upset. When someone is spending their hard earned money, they should get better service, and better food.I have photos to prove it, andf if needed I will contact the health department..

My grand daughter Julia Jackson has been working for IHOP for a little over a year now. She moved to Davenport in May to get away from the sexual harassment and disrespect from Roosevelt in Sebring. Since she's been in Davenport her GM Jeff hasn't resolved issues occurring in the store. The cooks, one especially is very disrespectful and acts completely out of character by using foul language to other cooks, servers, and even managers. Jeff continues to do nothing while he throws plates around. Jeff himself also has had a rough time controlling his anger and chaneling it properly. Today he yelled across the kitchen in front of the whole staff at my granddaughter for what he considered "horse playing" when she was trying to get a co worker to reframe from saying inappropriate things at work so close to where guest could hear. His words were, "HEY YOUNG LADY HEY, STOP THAT HORSE PLAYING BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT." His tone had everyone around in shock. This is not the first time he has lost his temper towards the wrong person. My grand daughter is a very hard working young woman and very loyal to the company. She even worked a over night shift in Sebring for Roosevelt while bleeding during being pregnant and the following week had a miscarriage and he punished her by removing her from the schedule and blamed it on a transfer that wasn't for sure yet. She has been debating suing the company for being in a hostile work environment and for the belief of her cause of miscarriaging. When she called me today she mentioned doing just that but then began to cry. She told me she couldn't do that because of the assistant manager Dolly. She adores and admires all of Dolly's hard work. Everytime we talk she always mentions how Dolly is the reason she gets up and goes to work. Dolly makes work for Julia enjoyable and the work momentum flow smoothly. A few of my close friends have been there passing through to see Julia and there's been some issues with the kitchen and instead of Jeff coming to check on them, Dolly checked on them and made their experience worth coming back again. One of my girlfriends mentioned how she sees Dolly more than she ever has Jeff. In her eyes she feels Dolly should be GM. However the issues concerning my grand daughter need to be addressed or I myself will take the right legal actions. Thank you for your time!
cheeseburger omelette
I had what appears to be a pubic hair right in the middle of my omelette after eating almost half of it. I let the waitress know and she took it off my bill. I'm not sure what kind of hair it was only what it looked like. If it was from someone's head or their beard maybe they should enforce hair and beard nets. Either way it was in my food and uncalled for.

First violation date happened on Oct 2nd around 3am.
I, Cierra, began having vivid ptsd flashbacks during work while serving tables. (All health information was disclosed during the interview.) I told another employee that I wasn't doing well and that I was extremely depressed and afraid. A run to the bathroom until I can work up the courage to tell my manager Nickie what is going on. With tears in my eyes I say "I need to go home due to personal reasons. " she tells me that if I leave she will tell my manager that I walked out and quit despite me making sure all of my work has been completed for the next shift. I brought in a doctors note the following day to prove what I was going through and the general manager Orlando suspended me for 6 days until human resources could prove that the situation checks out. During that 6 days of unpaid leave I developed bronchitis and phenomia due to my inability to afford healthcare. He called me back 6 days later to tell me that everything checked out and I can come back to work, with no punishment on my end. And with a simple apology that he didn't intend to suspend me for a mental illness. No action was taken after.
Date of violation Oct 9th between 10pm and 4am.
I walked in the door for my 10pm-6am shift at IHOP and Nickie the manager told me that she was just about to call me because I was a few minutes late. I apologized and she told me that if I was still coughing like the previous day, I could not work. I told her "well in that case, don't clock me in, I'll go home because I am." she responds "well we will just figure something out" and she swipes her card to clock me in. I ask "you mean if I get worse throughout the night I can leave?" she got sidetracked and didn't respond.
We had several customers at once so I was moving fast, breathing fast, so I started coughing. It gets worse and I tell Nickie that I'm having trouble breathing again. She waives me off because she's busy helping the register. After the rush is over I walk to nickie hyperventilating asking if I can step outside for fresh air because I couldn't breathe and she responds "you still have a table here, no."
I finished cleaning off my tables and Despite her telling me no, I rushed outside with my inhaler, fell to the ground and passed out. I don't know how long I was out there but When I woke up I was still having problems breathing and when I walked back inside Nickie was eating a sandwich by the kitchen, looks at me while I'm hyperventilating and holding my chest and walks to her office without saying a word. After I try to breathe well enough to talk I ask her "I just passed out outside. And I can't breathe. if I leave are you going to consider me quitting." she says "YES, you always do this. Mario goes home at 4 who is going to serve tables?" and I look at her with tears and my eyes, panting and tell her I'll finish all my stuff first, and then leave. And I walked away. After about 5-10minutes of me trying to get my sidework done, the breathing got worse, I go to Mario with tears in my eyes trying to tell him that I cant breathe and he yells for Nickie who is still sitting in her office, I tell him that I already mentioned it to her and she didn't do anything. Then she calls Mario over to tell him something and then finally decides to call an ambulance. I told her not to worry about it because she didn't care 10minutes earlier. But she ignored me and Continued calling, hung up and went and sat in her office again. The ambulance arrived and she stayed in her office. I went outside to greet the ambulance and they kept me on breathing treatments and monitors for an hour before I returned inside to grab my stuff and leave because the ambulance advised me to. I didn't say anything to Nickie because it wasn't worth the argument anymore.
Nickie has continuously gotten away with this type of behaviour for the 6 months that I have worked at this location. I feel it is finally a priority to shed light on how employees are treated at this location.
I do not want to lose my job due to unlawful terminatinion. Store camera footage will back up both stories, as well as 2 eye witnesses. Thank you.

I was attending dinner with my family, at the IHOP on 26301 Northwest Hwy, Cypress, TX 77429, and while exiting the building an employee, by the name of Lloyd was on the side of the building smoking weed. At first I thought it was just in the air or someone in the parking lot, but no it was your employee, I asked him what his name was and he refused and told me to "[censored] off" in front of my children. I went back in and asked the waitress what his name was and she told me. I am very disappointed that IHOP does not do drug test on your employees.
missing items
This is my third time ordering pickup online. But this time my pancakes were missing all of the miscellaneous toppings. Such as whip cream, and the chocolate chips. I have ordered the same pankcakes previously and they did come with it. But this time the didn't and didn't realize until I got home even though I bought it from the same store. Early this morning I decided to treat myself to breakfast at your Manteca, CA restaurant. I ordered the Crepe combo breakfast. I ate moat of the breakfast saving my favorite the crepes for last. Finally, I started eating my favorite Swedish crepes! Yum they were good u til I noticed something sticking out of the crepe and after examining further it was human hair. Needless to say all my wonderful yummy feelings left and a nauseous stomach took its place. My waitress was busy and had already left me my tag so she wasn't in a hurry to get back to me. She finally saw me flagging her down and I discreetly told her what happened. She asked if I wanted some more crepes!?! I calmly said no thank you and she said let me see what I can do. Funny, I thought that should've been mentioned first but what can you say. I waited and was surprised when she returned with a new receipt stating they would give me 20% off because I ate most of my meal already. I laughed because I thought maybe it was candid camera! Was I suppose to find the hair earlier I wondered. Hmmm! I politely smiled and asked to see this manager in person. My waitress left and returned to say they took the whole meal off.
You may wonder why I'm writing this since they did eventually not charge me for my meal with hair. I'm writing this because I'm teuly surprised at the lack of customer service and general good manners i was shown. I would think the manager would have realized the grossness involved and come out personally to apologize. I would think that I would not be asked to pay a bill at all. Really it seemed that a lone woman having breakfast on a Sunday morning didn't warrant any customer service or good manners. I wonder if I would've been treated this way if it happened to someone that the manager had time for. Hmmm ... it makes you wonder.
not receiving an email about my birthday pancakes

i signed p for the pancake revolution over 2 years ago. last year for my birthday and on the anniversary of when i signed up, i received emails about promotions and received my free birthday pancakes.. this year for my birthday which was yesterday, i did not receive an email about my stack of pancakes for my birthday. i did receive other promotions about what is going on but nothing about my free stack of pancakes for my birthday

Poor Management .. Managers are having sexual relations with the staff @ the store. The GM only hires based on his personal likes. The entire crew needs to be drug tested, almost everyone working there are on some sort of drug even the GM. The crew use the bathroom to roll cigars and use the outside shed to smoke. Never wash hands when done.Eat off customers plates and the list goes on. I myself have inappropriate text messages from a General manager named Dominic..store going down hill because hes young and prefer play, joke, or screw his staff!

The staff at ihop don't have any customer service i went in for an interview at 3pm and there where two females there and they just rolled their eyes and laugh and basically ignore me when i said i had an interview.So 15 mins went by another worker ask if I've been help i told her no told her i have an interview and she basically ignore me to and starting getting on her phone and talking to other workers it wasn't busy and i wasn't getting no help. The workers was just standing there laughing and talking on their phones.This is a very unprofessional place

Myself and my 2 family members went into IHOP store #5505 Avon, Oh on 10/3/18 8:37 pm. Lights were barely on upon entering despite being open u til 10pm. We were the only diners there. our meals were taken by Jessica in the time there we waited almost 30 minutes for food being the only customers we were never asked if we wanted refills as our server was socializing with one cook and one manager. The cook must have been upset that we came in as he was banging around plates, swearing as we had full view of this then my order was wrong tres leches pancakes was delivered as a small short stack. Mind you we waited a half hour for the food to begin with I thought oh boy ill never eat well instead of re making it they threw on some toppings. The pancakes werent the right size as my family membered ordered a different variety the pancakes were larger and made as is . When I complained that them throwing on topping on a smaller side pancake wasnt the same jessica the server decided to start arguing stating " im not going to argue with you i saw the cook make them right despite them not being made right and me asking for the manager who did not come to speak to us. no apology nothing fixed. appropriate customer service would be to apologize and take it back to be fixed... oh not here. 10 years since i went into an ihop now i remember why the people hired to work in there were just disgusting.

On 30 Sep 2018, at 5:16 p.m I attempted to place an order over the phone. The person answering the phone(I think she said her name was Amanda) stated her manager informed her that, it was against IHOP's policy to accept an order for the Sirloin Tips, mash potato's and coin over the phone. I was calling in my order, because my wife was going to Taco Bell in that area. I was watching the end of a Nascar points race and did not want to leave. After the race ended, I proceeded to IHOP to see the policy. Once I arrived I met with Tristan Lannone, the current manager on duty. He could not produce such policy nor would he give the name of the manager whom made the decision not to accept my phone in order! Could you please help with this issue. Thanks in advance!

I am beyond disappointed with the customer service I received today. After standing in the lobby for more than 20 minutes, and servers walking by seeing the FULL lobby of people trying to sit to enjoy a meal, I was forced to go find a server and ask if we could get some help. This young ladies response was, give me a minute. After waiting another 10 minutes, the server came and announces to the growing crowd, "sorry folks. We are backed up right now." Mind u, there were a LOTof tables open (I have pictures to prove it.) I informed the server, I'm just trying to order to go, which I received a response (with attitude) "I cant take your order right now." After receiving her nasty response, i asked for a manger. 2 minutes later, a manger by the name of "Aaron" comes out and announces the the continuous growing crowd "folks in just waiting for my other servers to come." I again state, "I just want to place an order to go. "aaron" looks at me and say "we will be with you." I waited another 15 minutes, and decided to just walk out. I waited a total of 47 MINUTES to receive service that was never met. I myself, am I customer service manager. I normally can understand and take in to consideration, certain situations. However, this time, I just could NOT BELIEVE the so called "customer service" myself and the crowd received from these employees. Absolutely deplorable! IHOP is my absolute FAVORITE place to enjoy breakfast, however, after tonight, my family and I wont consider this franchise as an option to enjoy a meal. I hope this situation can serve as an advocate of change. It's unfortunate the service I received today.

I am was employed with IHOP at 98 north lakeland fl. There's alot of favoritism there and the managers are not fair to the employees. Rick Roberts is the store manager and I've talked to him about the situation and also talk to the other manager Beverly Crisp and the problem never was fixed. After 3 years of working there I had enough and I didn't want to quit but I ended up telling him I was done. So please take care of this situation. There's other servers there that complained and still the problem was not fixed. Rick always told us he didnt want to here it. Rick has his favorites as well as Beverly. On September 27 2018 my friend and I had breakfast at your location 2002 north interstate 35 round rock tx 78681. Because of the terrible service we received from our service that day I decided to leave NO tip. Today September 29 2018 I look at my bank statement and see that she helped herself to a tip without my authorization. I can only imagine how many other people she has done this to. I work hard for my money and to have one of your employees basically reach into my pocket and steal from me is wrong! Im sure nothing will be done and your business will keep making millions of dollars . I have the receipts and my bank statement should anyone care to follow up with this complaint.

I went to the ihop at 2699 David H McLeod Blvd, Florence, SC and noticed the host was cleaning tables and waiting tables because the servers didnt seem to care too much the manager didnt do too much either the service was terrible you really need to find new management and servers I wish it was like one of your platinum stores which is only 3 of them hire better people or better yet bring in people from your platinum store to help your other stores

I was at the ihop on 5600 west and 3100 south to connect with the world over eggs.
The sign said free wifi. On monday you did not have it working. I heard the manager on the phone with the wifi people, but I was already finishing my meal and already way behind in my contacting important money people in my life... Lucky for m there was a mcdonalds nearby... They sell eggs too.
The team work in this restaurant was great, waiters and waiter were very helpful and one of them went to the manager after I insisted the wifi did not work but she never came by and his frustrated me. What looked like the big boss had left for the day just moments earlier so there were two managers on duty at the time of y complaint.
I guess wifi is not important to your business model.
