Scammed by IMEIDoctor: A Disappointing Experience with iCloud Removal Service
I gotta say, this IMEI Doctor service is such a disappointment. I was hoping to give it a shoutout, but instead, I ended up getting scammed out of $180 CAD. I paid already for three different installments to remove icloud and to unlock my phone, and it's been over two and a half months and still no resolution. I even tried choosing the premium service to speed up the process, but then IMEIDoctor's CEO/Staff Mr. TIM has stopped emailing me.
It's been 80 days now, and they just took my money without any reply or update on my order status. Mr. Tim assured me previously that their premium service is 100% refundable for any reason, but now I feel cheated. Their service status still says it requires premium service, and I haven't received any form of assistance or a refund.
I've read some people claiming that icloud removal for iPhone 4/4s can take as little as 5 days, but that's just a bunch of crock. I can reset my iPhone below iPhone 4/4s, and it will indeed remove icloud. However, resetting iPhone 5 and above models won't remove it. These people are such a scam, keep bugging you with multiple payments and leaving you with nothing but an empty wallet.
This IMEI Doctor site is such a scam, and they are undoubtedly worth nothing at all. Even Mr. Tim and the rest of his team appear professional enough to lure you into getting robbed. They promise it's refundable, but once you pay, they forget to reply or update you about your order. I have had enough of their fraudulent ways and have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
IMEI Doctor Review: Don't Get Scammed, Use IMEICheck.co Instead
Be cautious prospective buyers, IMEI Doctor, although useful for IMEI checks, is nothing more than a scam. They deceive users with iPads that are legitimately owned and have been used for years. I personally purchased mine from the original owner in 2017, and it had worked like a charm until the most recent update, 14.3. The issue arose as the activation process began to demand an unfamiliar and unknown email address: ***@me.com. When I contacted Apple they were unable to assist, however, they confirmed that my iPad wasn't blacklisted, lost, or stolen, and no bills were outstanding. Furthermore, my device was clearly listed on my Apple ID account as being in good condition. Apple advised me to send the iPad to them for a diagnosis; however, as shipping would have cost me an arm and a leg, I opted to investigate IMEI Doctor's service instead. To my dismay, they sent me an email with the same generic text they send to everyone, stating that my iPad was either blacklisted by Apple, owed funds, or both, and that I needed their premium service. The audacity! When I explained that it was my iPad, they merely claimed that they didn't know when it was last reported. I didn't trust them, so I forwarded all of the proof to my credit card provider, including the details of the company's refund policy and proof that it was a scam. I'm confident that I'll receive a refund. Despite numerous emails to IMEI Doctor, they still haven't responded.
Fast forward to January 15, 2021, where IMEICheck.co successfully completed the iCloud removal process in just three days, demonstrating once again that IMEI Doctor lacks the capabilities necessary to provide quality service. Stay alert, purchasers!
Warning: Stay Far Away from IMEI Doctor (imeidoctor.com) - Scam Alert!
It's been almost two months since I submitted my request to IMEI Doctor (imeidoctor.com), and I still haven't heard anything back about my phone being unlocked. I've emailed them multiple times, but all I ever get is an automatic response. I don't understand why they can't take the time to respond to their customers personally. My progress meter has reached 100%, but still nothing has happened.
For anyone who needs it, here's my IMEI: ***[protected]. Don't bother contacting them though, because all you'll get in return is the same automated message I did: "Thanks for your email. This IMEI was issued to the carrier on the 12th as per your order status page and is currently in process, don't worry as soon as it's been unlocked you will be emailed as well as the order status page being updated. The average unlocking timeframe of this handset is 1-30 days (Monday-Friday). The percentage meter will give you a more accurate time scale for your device, if it reaches 100% and it's not unlocked then we will chase the IMEI with the carrier for you and place it on priority. Kind regards, DoctorUnlock. Track your order."
I'm pretty frustrated with them to be honest. They clearly don't care about their customers, and they can't even be bothered to personalize their responses. Don't be fooled by their email address either: ***@doctorunlock.net. Because no matter what you ask, you'll always get the same generic response back. They took $112 from me for absolutely nothing, and I don't want anyone else to fall victim to this scam. Save your time and money and stay far away from this fake site. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Beware of Imeidoctor.com: Unprofessional Customer Service and False Advertising
I definitely should have trusted the other reviews and the signs that this IMEI Doctor (imeidoctor.com) might not be the best choice out there. When you get the price to unlock your phone, their system only accepts Mastercard as a payment method, which is a bit sketchy in my opinion. And just like many others, this company also has bad reviews with the same complaint - customers feeling often disrespected by the customer service's unprofessional behavior. In addition to that, they won't send a confirmation after you place your order, which doesn't seem to be very professional.
However, I still decided to give them a chance after seeing they had a faqs page reassuring me that entering my unique IMEI number would give me the final price. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
The very next day I went back to their site to track my order, and to my surprise, they stated that in order to unlock my phone, I would need to pay more money and that the amount I initially paid was only a pre-payment. This didn't seem right to me, so I decided to reach out to their support team. After receiving their unacceptable excuses and realizing this was all false advertisement, I let them know that I was going to file a dispute with my bank and demanded my money back.
I never received any notification upfront about the amount I would have to pay if I wanted to unlock my phone, and for this reason, I now fear the extent of their scam. I haven't continued with this company, as I am now aware that they could still charge me more money or steal my bank information. I highly recommend you be careful and think twice before using a company like this - try using a trusty service instead.
Warning: Stay Away from Imeidoctor.com - My Scam Experience Unveiled
Imeidoctor.com is a website you should steer clear of! Even though many PC-related blogs refer you to their services with good reviews and recommendations, I can testify that they are a SCAM! My request for their services was made back in July 2020, and I made a payment. Unfortunately, they could not complete the services because the lock was on the cloud and not on the phone. They then offered me credit instead of the purchase price for the same service for other devices or the difference for a level up service to unlock my phone, which I agreed upon and paid for.
I was given a maximum guarantee of three months, which elapsed in November 2020. However, nothing has come out of it to date, April 2021. I have sent follow-up emails a couple of times, but there is nobody to call for help, and my generic replies never change. It reads: "your device was issued to our iCloud supplier on the 10th Nov as per your order status page, and is currently in process, once it has been unlocked you will be e-mailed as well as the order status page being updated. We realize these are taking a long time, unfortunately, it's the nature of these unlocks. Some of these units have been taking 90 days. We have been advised that as a goodwill gesture, there is an option to give you credit note for the total amount you have paid for you to spend on a sim unlock for a different device if you don't want to wait that long?"
I have been stuck on 99% progress since January 2021, and according to them, the unlocking process takes a little longer than normal, about 98 days and 12 hours, due to the pandemic. Additionally, weekends are not included. I have been disappointed with the level of service I have received from Imeidoctor.com, and I want others to beware and avoid them at all costs.
IMEI Doctor iCloud Activation Lock Removal Review: Unlocking an Old Mini iPad Gen1
I recently got my hands on an old mini iPad Gen1 from a friend who no longer wanted it, and it was almost thrown in the trash. The person who had set up the device was no longer at the company and had actually been fired for stealing... So, I decided to give IMEI doctor a try to unlock it. I made the first payment and waited for three days before finally receiving an email from them.
The email stated that they had attempted to remove the iCloud lock on my device but were unsuccessful. The iCloud Account associated with the (F7NN***) had been marked by Apple as Lost/Stolen. This meant that even though the device had not been reported lost to the carrier, it had been reported using "FindMyiPhone."
Before making the purchase, it was clearly stated on the website that it was not possible to remove the Activation Lock on iDevices which are in Apple's iCloud Lost/Stolen database using their Clean service. However, there may be a premium service available in the future that can unlock these devices, and customers would be informed via email once it was available.
A few days later, I received another email announcing that the iCloud Premium service had finally been made available. This service was said to remove the iCloud account for all devices, including those barred, but it would take 30 days to complete. The price for this service was ?99.99, but as a previous Clean iCloud purchaser, I was informed that my vouchers had been discounted- thus leaving me with a ?49.99 charge. The link to purchase this service was provided in the email as well.
Feeling disappointed and scammed, I eventually decided to throw the damn iPad away out of disgust. From this experience, I have learned never to purchase or receive an Apple product that is locked. I believe it's essential to get it unlocked before purchasing to avoid such an occurrence in the future.
Beware of IMEI Doctor (imeidoctor.com): My Experience with Their Unlock Services
I'm just gonna tell ya, folks, don't go for IMEI Doctor (imeidoctor.com). Listen to ol' Uncle Joe, and save your money like I never did. These folks just took my money and ran off with it, leaving me high and dry. I mean, how can services like this even exist, man? They're just ripping people off left and right.
I was foolish enough to believe all those great comments about them on trustpilot.com. So, I went ahead and paid them $28 as prepaid fee. And right after that, they hit me up with another request for $42 to perform the unlock process. And like a dummy, I paid that too. But then, after waiting for five whole days, they just came back and told me that my IMEI was blacklisted. What the hell, man? That's a total lie.
But here's the kicker, y'all. They had the audacity to tell me that I'd have to pay another $70 for them to perform "premium unlock." No way, man. I wasn't gonna fall for that crap again. I told them, look, my IMEI is clean as a whistle, and I can provide you with proof to back it up. And according to their policy, if I can do that, I can request a refund.
But guess what? They didn't care. They just kept sending me automatic emails that had nothing to do with the evidence I was providing. And now, it's been 17 long days since I heard back from them. And let me just say, it's not looking good for me. I'm never gonna see that money again.
So, folks, please, listen to me. Don't be fooled by all those positive reviews. Anyone can create an account and give them 5 stars. Trust me, I learned that the hard way. You wanna know the truth? Look at all the negative comments. That's where you'll find it. Stay clear of IMEI Doctor if you value your hard-earned money.
Do Not Trust Imei Doctor: My Disappointing Experience and Why it's a Complete Scam
Imei Doctor is a website that promises to unlock your phone and provide excellent service. However, my personal experience with this site was extremely disappointing. In fact, I'd go as far as saying that it seems like a total scam.
I foolishly paid for the original price and then they told me that I needed to pay an additional premium price, which I did, hoping that my phone would be unlocked soon. But after 107 long days, my phone is still locked, and they have been sending me the same message for the past 4 months. Asking for a refund has been a futile effort - they simply will not refund my money. It's become clear to me that Imei Doctor is not a trustworthy site, and I would urge others to beware of it.
As an example, just take a look at the same message I've been getting over and over again for months:
"Hi [name],
Thanks for your email.
Your device was issued to our iCloud supplier on the [date] as per your order status page and is currently in process, once it has been unlocked you will be emailed as well as the order status page being updated.
We realise these are taking a long time, unfortunately it's the nature of these unlocks. Some of these units have been taking 90 days. We have been advised that as a goodwill gesture there is an option to give you vouchers for the total amount you have paid for you to spend on a sim unlock for a different device if you don't want to wait that long?"
Does that sound like a competent and professional customer service team to you? I certainly don't think so. Instead, I believe that Imei Doctor is a complete scam, ripping people off and not delivering on their promises.
In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone looking to unlock their phone to avoid Imei Doctor and opt for a more reputable service. Don't make the same mistake I did and fall for this scam.
Avoid IMEI Doctor at All Costs: A Scam Website for Apple Watch Unlocking Services
So I wanted to try this website called IMEI Doctor, as I read reviews online saying they were able to unlock Apple Watches. The website looked legit and they even had a notification section that showed they were unlocking devices from all over the world at the very moment, but unfortunately, it was all misleading. I started the process with them in November 2019, and it cost me $70 US dollars to begin, which was more expensive than what they made it seem like when I first signed up for the service. They later asked for the remaining amount, which was fine, but it took them 17 days to get back to me only to tell me that the watch could not be unlocked unless I upgraded to their premium service. I was disappointed, but I spent another $79 US dollars to get the premium service, and that was on December 6, 2019.
I tried to contact them five times to check the progress, but I only got three canned responses saying that it might take longer than expected, and at this point, it has been way too long, and I am still waiting for either a refund or the watch to be unlocked. This service is not what I expected, and I've seen many other complaints about it online, so I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone. It is totally ridiculous!
I finally got a response from Doctor Unlock with the reason why the service was not working. Apparently, my watch was considered lost or stolen, which is why I needed to upgrade to the premium service. They also said it was odd that I didn't mention this in my review, but I didn't think it was relevant since they still offered me the premium service despite knowing that the watch might be lost or stolen.
I have been waiting for their response for so long, and it seems like they don't really care about solving my problem or giving me a refund. It has been almost a year since I first contacted them, and my watch is still not unlocked. This is a scam, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this site. Please be careful and don't fall for their fake positive reviews either.

Warning: Terrible Experience with IMEI Doctor's Phone Unlocking Service - Scam Alert!
I just had a horrible experience with IMEI Doctor! I made an order on the first of March to get my phone unlocked and after paying the initial fee, they hit me with another charge. I thought it was odd but decided to wait to see how things would progress. Fast forward to April 20th and my phone was only 75% unlocked when they asked for yet another payment. The remaining balance due was 42.01 EUR and they claimed that it was necessary due to a limited time service that was guaranteed to work.
The worst part is that they didn't even bother to respond to my emails. I kept reaching out to them and asking for a reason why they needed more money, but it was like talking to a brick wall. Their customer service is non-existent, which is unacceptable, especially when they’re dealing with people's hard-earned money.
And get this, the percentage progress chart that they displayed on their site to show how far along they were in unlocking my phone suddenly disappeared, only to be replaced with another payment request. What is their problem?!
I implore you to stay away from IMEI Doctor. Don't waste your money on their services! It's not worth it. They will just keep asking for more money and leave you high and dry without any answers to your questions.
Unlock Your Phone Hassle-Free with IMEI Doctor: A Review
I recently used IMEI Doctor (imeidoctor.com) to unlock my phone and I am quite impressed with their service so far. I had some trouble with my phone being locked to a carrier, which was quite frustrating, but IMEI Doctor was able to quickly resolve the issue.
First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by their website design - it was very easy to navigate and it was not confusing at all. I was able to find the information I needed quickly and easily. I then placed my order and was promptly FastTrack'ed to the top of the queue for when the unlocking resumed.
Although the process took some time due to the carrier being offline for my particular handset model, I was notified immediately via email when the unlocking finally resumed. The timescale for unlocking was not provided but it usually takes no longer than two weeks, which is not too bad.
One of the things that I appreciated about IMEI Doctor is that they were very upfront about their pre-order policy. It was made clear to me that pre-orders are non-refundable, but I was okay with that because I really wanted my phone to be unlocked. However, they did mention that if I found another provider to unlock my phone and could prove it, then they would provide a full refund.
Overall, I had a very positive experience with IMEI Doctor and I would definitely recommend their services to anyone who needs to unlock their phone. The website was easy to use, the service was fast and efficient, and the customer service was great. I’m happy to say that my phone is now unlocked and I no longer have to deal with the frustration of being locked to a carrier.
Disappointing Experience with IMEI Doctor: Misleading and Expensive
Very frustrated with my experience with IMEI Doctor. It's a real shame that I didn't read the other reviews before I went ahead with their services. My advice - if you have a place in your local mall that offers phone unlocking, go there instead. The process with IMEI Doctor was misleading and unclear, and I ended up spending a lot more than I anticipated.
I paid $3 for a check on my phone's information, which came back with the correct result. But after that, things quickly went downhill. Instead of transferring the information, they rely on you to enter it correctly into their system. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and ended up paying $25 for a prepayment, not realizing it was just the beginning.
I then had to pay an additional $35 to finish the unlocking process, only to be told that I'd entered the wrong network. At this point, I was ready to give up. The only good thing was that the company refunded me the $35.
I decided to try again and ran another report, thinking that my voucher would allow me to have another go. Unfortunately, I was wrong, and I ended up having to pay another $60 just to actually unlock the phone.
I sent an email to the company asking for clarification, but all I received was a generic response. In the end, I spent over $150 trying to unlock my phone, and it's still not unlocked. I'm really angry and frustrated with the whole experience.

SCAM ALERT: My Terrible Experience with IMEI Doctor for iPhone 8 Unlocking
I had the misfortune of using IMEI Doctor (imeidoctor.com) services to unlock my iPhone 8. I paid a total of $58 for this service, which was promised to be completed within three months. First, they asked for $23, and then they demanded an additional payment of $30 for the so-called iCloud supplier. However, every time I inquire about the progress of unlocking my iPhone, they keep sending me the same generic response.
Their email reads, " Thanks for your email. Your device was issued to our iCloud supplier on the 5th Apr as per your order status page and is currently in process, once it has been unlocked you will be emailed as well as the order status page being updated."
I am repeatedly told to wait for an indeterminate time and not given any concrete details about when my iPhone will be unlocked. Each email from the company suggests that unlocking my iPhone is a time-consuming process, and some units are taking up to 90 days to unlock. This seems like a pretext to extract more money from me, as I am given the option to receive vouchers for the entire amount I have paid to spend on another device's sim unlock.
IMHO, this service is nothing but a SCAM. I do not have another Apple device to unlock, and I am not willing to wait for that long, as their false promises have severely affected my patience. IMEI Doctor (imeidoctor.com) is not competent enough to provide the services they claim to offer. I would advise everyone to stay away from this service. Furthermore, I regret not researching more before trusting such unreliable services.
Imeidoctor.com Review: Shady Practices and Deceptive Pricing
When I stumbled upon imeidoctor.com, I was hopeful that they could help me with my phone troubles. I was in need of unlocking my phone and the price on the website showed $28, which I thought was reasonable. However, it wasn't long before my hope was crushed as I realized that I was being deceived.
Here's what happened: I purchased the unlock service for $28, but when I checked the website again using my IP address, I found that it was in pre-order status and showing the price of $154. When I tried checking with a different IP, I saw the original price of $28. This made no sense to me at first, until I realized that their scheme was all about changing the price depending on the IP address. It's completely immoral, and frankly, it's illegal.
To make things worse, I received the service late, after they charged my credit card. And, much to my dismay, there was no visible indication of it being pre-ordered. This information was only visible once I was on their webpage. It's clear to me now that the reason they didn't make this clear during the buying process was to mislead their customers into thinking they were getting a good deal.
Despite all of this, I did eventually receive the unlock code. But my overall experience with imeidoctor.com was horrendous. In my opinion, any business that operates in such a shady and unethical fashion should not be trusted. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Warning: IMEI Doctor is a Scam - Don't Trust Them With Your Phone Unlocking Needs
These IMEI Doctor guys are super sketchy, I'm tellin' ya. I looked up my iPhone on their site and it said it wasn't blacklisted or nothin'. So, I called their customer service and they said they could unlock it for me no sweat. I paid for the service but a month later they told me my phone was blockin' the network which is the exact same thing I checked before I even paid, ya know what I mean? And they had the nerve to tell me I needed to pay extra for their 'premium service' - give me a break, man. I was hesitant but eventually I did pay the extra 50 quid on May 17th. Well, today it's September 4th and my phone still ain't unlocked. The tracking page has been at 99% for the past month and customer service is straight-up ignoring me. They used to be polite but now it's like they can't even bother.
Bottom line: these guys are nothing but greedy con artists. They'll say whatever it takes to make you fork over your dough, but once they got it they'll just disappear. I'd honestly bet that they wrote their own five-star reviews too. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from IMEI Doctor - don't fall for their scam like I did.
Imeidoctor.com: A Complete Scam and Nightmare
I had an issue with IMEI Doctor and it all started around 5 months ago. I was on the hunt for a provider that could help me unlock my iPhone and stumbled upon their website: imeidoctor.com. They advertised an unlocking service for only 28USD, and I thought this seemed like a great deal so I went ahead and paid for it.
But my nightmare started soon after. A week later, IMEI Doctor contacted me to say that my phone needed a "spherical cervices" (I'm not even sure what that means) because the provider asked for something difficult and expensive. I had no choice but to pay another 42USD. Another week passed by, and I received an email saying that my phone was still locked to a provider because of a debt. This was news to me because I had bought the iPhone brand new and cancelled the contract as I was going back to my home country.
When I tried to explain this to IMEI Doctor, they offered me a voucher to unlock another phone. I thought this was a good solution, but when I tried to use the voucher, it wasn't there for my email address. I tried to contact them more than 12 times via email to fix the problem, but they never responded to any of my messages.
In my opinion, I would not recommend using imeidoctor.com. It turned out to be a total scam, and I ended up losing my money. And, unfortunately, it seems like this has happened to thousands of other people as well. So please be warned and make sure to avoid this website at all costs!
Beware of IMEI Doctor Scam: My Experience with imeidoctor.com
Hey, before you go ahead and unlock your phone, kindly read this review for a few insiders’ tips and cheats without getting scammed. Don't get swayed by the reviews of others, as they are all wrong and lying to you.
In my opinion, IMEI Doctor at imeidoctor.com is a total scammer and liar. You will regret giving them $28 as they will ask for a final payment of $42 or a discount of $32. They didn't specify before you paid that the $28 was just a prepayment or for check payment; they were waiting until after you paid to tell you.
And to top it off, the employees of this website and their associates act like disabled people who can never easily find money, even though disabled people don't act like this. They are like hungry street dogs, cheated on everyone who has trusted them. They even use other website names to confuse you, like DrSim unlock/ Appleiphoneunlock.uk, but don't trust them either.
While $28 might not be a lot of money for me, it is still a lot for many, so I will consider it as a donation to the disabled person. These guys are not as useful as a disabled person. If they do not refund my money, I will write a curse and hope that they will be born as disabled or street dogs after death and come back alive. I come from Asia, and I have seen such things happen. So I suggest you stay far away from these guys.
Beware of IMEI Doctor: My Unpleasant Experience and Why I Don't Recommend It
I recently had a poor experience with IMEI Doctor (www.imeidoctor.com) and I want to share my honest thoughts with others. My first impression of the site was okay, and I was interested in their stated services to unlock my phone. However, everything went south after I paid the initial quote of US $28 for the service.
After paying, I received an email from the company with order details that tried to reassure me of their legitimacy. But then, a few hours later, I received another email from IMEI Doctor asking for a hefty extra amount of $57, stating that they used $28 to check some details of my phone and that it would not be unlocked without payment of this second amount of $57.
When I asked for clarification about the sudden and unexpected charge, the company replied that the $28 was supposed to be a pre-order cost and that the extra $57 was indeed required to unlock my phone. They also added that they used $28 to do some 'checks' on my phone. I found this to be very shady, as they never mentioned this extra charge while I was in the process of making the initial order.
As of the writing of this review, IMEI Doctor has failed to either unlock my phone or refund me my initial payment. I feel cheated and very frustrated. I am considering taking legal action against them. It's also worth mentioning that I suspect all the positive reviews of the company are either fake or created by paid people and not legitimate customers.
I urge everyone to avoid dealing with this company and save yourself the trouble of losing your money, time, and mental peace.
Avoid IMEI Doctor for Phone Unlocks: Misleading Prices, Inaccurate Timeframes, and No Refunds
I recently had an experience with IMEI Doctor (imeidoctor.com) and unfortunately, it was not a positive one. At first, I was drawn in with their advertised price of $28 USD to unlock my phone. However, after paying and submitting my IMEI number, I was informed that an additional $55 USD was needed to complete the process. Feeling frustrated, I decided to pay the extra fee as I needed my phone urgently.
I was then given the option to pay an extra $10 USD to "fast track" my order, and I decided to go ahead with it, hoping that I would receive my unlocked phone within a reasonable timeframe. However, after waiting for two weeks, I decided to reach out to them to ask what was happening with my order. To my surprise, they told me that it should be unlocked within another 2-5 days. It was obvious that their advertised timeframe was not accurate.
Feeling extremely worried and frustrated, I decided to ask for a refund. However, I was told that I had to wait 30 days for it to be processed. Even after the 30 day mark had passed, I had not received a refund. Instead, what I received was a message stating that my phone was unfortunately blocked by the carrier due to unpaid bills. They told me that they had already incurred unlocking charges and therefore, could not give me a refund.
Overall, my experience with IMEI Doctor was very disappointing. Their advertised prices are misleading, and they do not provide accurate timeframes for their services. Even worse, they refuse to provide refunds for orders that are unsuccessful due to reasons beyond their control. Therefore, I would recommend staying away from this service and looking for more reliable options elsewhere.
