IMVU ridiculous ban and abysmal service

My imvu account is banned citing there was a 'suspicious log in'. The pop up says banned for three thousand days! So I might have had an intruder, therefore ban me for nine years? Idiotic and insulting! Its punishing the victim for maybe being assaulted, even though the victim didn't know of the assault. And cant use any of their help while your account is banned, have to set up a new email account and imvu account.
Emailed requests are just ignored. Takes days to get help requests addressed through the web site.

IMVU unfair banning of account

I have been on IMVU for about 10 years and my account NorikoKiyoshi just got banned for a glitch that is on there end. There IMVU Inc. account keeps spamming peoples inbox saying they watched a video and earned credits. And instead of correctly looking into it or admitting it's their own glitch and fault they are banning people unfairly for it. And saying they are misusing their credit offers.

I know several people who are being banned for the same reason and are getting spammed with the same messages. Imvu refuses to admit to there faults instead they are blaming their users. This needs to be looked into properly instead of just unfairly banning people for a glitch in your offers system.

IMVU I have done the offer and imvu didn't reward me!

Date January 5th 2018

the offer said "if your between 18-65 complete the online betting questionnaire! You will receive you credits within 5 minutes" so i filled in the questionnaire and waited 5 minutes and nothing came so i got really upset because i can't afford to buy credits and I LOVE playing IMVU . Please respond to my message thank you for you help !

IMVU imvu hacked my account, and lied about it

imvu hacked my FionaFoxPrincess, and removed my [protected]@hotmail.com, and lied about it, started a week ago (August 30th, 2017, and continue today)

I tried to put in my email address, and they lied, it doesn t exist, then how come, I m using my [protected]@hotmail, as we speak (or type) ?.

It even lied my pw don t match, when I changed my pw, to which I use now.

When I filed a ticket with my other imvu account (to report my fiona fox being hacked), and put in [protected]@hotmail.com, so imvu could investigate it, but imvu refused, by lying my email address don t exist ?.

I missed a week worth of daily spin, because of imvu s illegal, and abusive behaviours. Not to mention imvu owe me 3 months VIP, that they ripped me off (about 2 years ago. When you go and type in fionafoxprincess (within IMVU), you ll see the tagline "imvu owe me 3 months VIP", that my line, to tell the whole imvu community, of imvu crimes.

Tell imvu I m pressing charges of :

- fraud
- theft of my account
- abuse
- breach of trust
- corruption

I will not rest, till imvu pay for their crimes.

IMVU imvu

Ok so a year ago on October 10, 2016 I made an imvu account and I got on may once a week in the morning before school. Well a year past by and I started getting on more around July. And so i wanted to fit in so I went to surveys and they didn't work or the offers sucked and I got stuck with watching videos wasting my time. Then I found on youtube hack credits. And today on he 23 of august 6:39pm I went to log in and it kept telling me wrong password so i reset it and it says I was banned for spamming people and that they had proof well I barley even talked on here. Well I went to file a complaint 6times because I have a family on here and their goanna wonder where I'm at. Ad I went to make a new one and I couldn't even find my friends I had. And I'm 18 almost 19 so I'm old enough to play so wtf.

IMVU copyright infringement

This is a problem that I have been trying to battle with imvu for a long period of time now. They have been allowing their creators to use copyrighted materials without the company's permissions because the company cannot step in. They expect the company to go onto their website and scout out all the people who are copyrighting themselves. Instead of IMVU as a company stepping in to stop it. IMVU gives the opportunity for creators to get money instead of credits for their creations on IMVU. This gives the people that do this the opportunity to make money off of the Nike/Adidas/DC/Converse/Vans/HBA etc logos without permissions of the owners though imvu knows its against the Law.

IMVU banned for 29000 days?

I've been on imvu for about 2 years now. I've had my account for 2 years and today i tried to log in to find i had been disabled...I checked my emails and it said that my age didn't match my profile. Which i am 15. I've done the help ticket thingy t try and get my account abck considering i've spent hundreds on it! The thing is i never said anything about my age either...

IMVU unfair banning

I was a user if Imvu up until Monday, March 31. 2014. I had 2 accounts with Imvu. 1 was a creating account with over 600 items that I created and the other was just a normal account. I purchased Ap on both accounts and Vip on my creating account. From the time I started on IMVU which was in 2011 i have spent $ 5526.43 on my accounts.

On Friday, March 28/14 I went to log on to my account and I was not able to log on.I phoned Imvu and they told me to check my e-mail. I did and I received an email saying I was banned permanently for using a illegal Imvu client. I have never purchased or used an illegal Imvu client. So I knew that there is a mistake somewhere. As this was not the first time that this had happened. Last year in October my 2nd account got the same ban. And after 4 days of me calling and talking to Imvu and explaining to them that this was wrong, I received an e-mail apologizing and IMVU released my account. And now again exactly the same thing

After seeing the email on Friday I filled help ticket and called Imvu back and explained to them that since March 14th when the new update 500.00 came out I have been having extremely hard time logging into Imvu I would crashing at the start up screen and would try 20 times in a row to log in and I could not. I also did help tickets for that which I will attach to this email. So on top of me having such a hard time loading into Imvu they are trying to say that i was on Imvu with a illegal client. I'm sorry but that is not true.

I asked for proof or something to show me so I could understand what they were saying and all I kept getting is "NO we cant provide you with any evidence or proof". I am lost because I know I have not done anything wrong I do not own any illegal programs but no one is wanting to even listen. It was exactly the same thing last year when my 2nd account was banned. I asked to talk to a manager someone that could help me and actually listen and understand what I was saying. Rather than saying "No your account is gone and will not be re-activated. How can I accept that when I have done nothing wrong.

On Saturday March 29th I went to the program web page that is mentioned on the ban letter from Imvu in hopes to find an email or phone number to speak to someone because there has to be a way to prove this accusation is wrong. As it stands they have a chat window on their page. I asked them if there was a way that they can check if an avatar from Imvu was traceable and if they could trace my avatar if it was using their program I took a screen picture of our chat to show IMVU. They asked me my avatar name I gave them that and they answered with this long number that this avatar was not using their program. So now that I had actual proof that Imvu could see I was not lying. I sent it in as a help ticket. Only to be told that they would not accept my evidence from that program. I feel lost and I feel like the door is slammed in my face. I truly have done nothing wrong. I have receipts from all my textures I have purchased I don't need to steal. But this feeling of no one wanting to listen or believe me is horrible. So I asked to speak to a manager and they told me to call back Monday, March 31/2014.

I called back Monday March 31st only to have have the person say I already have read through your file and your account is not going to be reactivated. Without even questions or listening to what i was going to say. I'm sorry my account means a lot to me and I would not do anything to have my account taken away. It made no difference to this person he said were just going in circles and in the end I will not reactivate your account. I even told the guy I will give you permission for your specialist to log into my computer and check it for any illegal programs I have nothing to hide. His answer was "no we do not need to do that". I was in tears and I was very angry and I said to the Imvu manager "I guess I have no choice but to get legal help". And he said well I will be evaluating your 2nd account too. Not thinking anything of that I said go ahead I have nothing to hide.

Not even 10 minutes later my 2nd account was also disabled. That is what the manager ment when he said i'll be evaluating your 2nd account. I am speechless and extremely upset that I am being treated like this by IMVU. I have never in my life had to deal with anything like this. All I have been trying to do was show that I have not done what I am being accused of doing. A few minutes later I received 2 emails saying that my account was banned for using an illegal program on Imvu. WoW .. So as you can see he took my account because I said I was going to take legal action not because of any illegal program. I immediately called them back and I asked why this happened and the lady said your account is affiliated with the account that has used an illegal program so now it is also permanently banned. I am trying to find a lawyer to help me with this.I do have all the emails from Imvu and all the proof needed . There has to be some kind of a law against this. They basically stole both of my accounts. I would not be fighting this if I did what they are saying. But because I have Not I can not just allow them to do this. The same exact thing is happening to me today. My friend's account had been memorialized by our friend group after she'd passed away, along with old messages and photos. And now I'm banned for using an old official IMVU client, the same as you, "unauthorized client" which is a lie. I'm experiencing the same exact treatment from IMVU. Nothing has changed in 7 years.

That truly is very disappointing, they're the ones who provided the VIP to be paid, along with other stuff, and they wont even help. I hope you get both of your accounts back. It'd be a miracle if so.

IMVU wrongfully banned

It all started off what day, I thought I would make my girl friend happy, so I bought a marriage package from imvu by using a prepaid credit card. Before I started I saw at top right different credit cards, Anyway I clicked on the top tight, clicked 4 digits, The 3 digits after that then clicked buy. 3 days later I'm banned for using someone else's pay pal account. I called imvu & said this has to be wrong I used a prepaid credit card, can you trace this, She said we did you used a pay pal account. That's just not true I need for this to be investigated or at least be back on imvu.I Used a pre paid card, Not some ones pay
pal account, imvu said they traced it, I want this traced to see what if anything could happen during that time. Please I need your help?

IMVU wrongfully disabled

IMVU wrongfully disabled my LostKitty account and fails to provide me with proof they say gathered of me breaking their TOS.
on 6/24/13 i engaged in a conversation with someone i thought i was a friend venting after a PTSD nightmare brought on by being under extreme amounts of stress. saying i would if i could (because i knew i couldn't as it being against imvu tos) sell my account because imvu was adding to my stress bringing on these horrific nightmares. he then tried to force me into a position of servitude reporting me to imvu when he failed to force me to serve him. imvu then proceeded to disable my account saying i was trying to sell my account. i have NEVER asked anyone to buy my account but they refuse to even talk to me about the issue at hand sending automated messages in tickets and hanging up on me when i call. resulting in me being made a victim twice with same incident.

i had been a member since 2007, was a grandfathered developer with about 1000 products in my catalog, had ap and vip. over 14, 000 products in inventory and over 50, 000credits on my account, amongst other things costing money... essentially i lost a lot of money put into the game.

IMVU account permanently disabled

my account taha7arb2 was pemenantly disabled because i used other programs to log in the site
i have bout milions of credits from the imvu site and las t was yesterday on second day i found myself disabled
my other account was disabled (jalalharb) and they said i was geting credits from the advertisors on there site (woudering why they have it then there
and the 3rd account ( tahaharb ) was diabled for 8 years because i bought expensive items from my friend shop

imvu disabled me for ”suspicious loggin Activity”. Which makes no sense because I sat here a creating my account from the ground then they ask me to verify my account. I verify it and they reply on my other help ticket with some bs about using other people’s credit card numbers I don’t even do that [censored] my account was @janei23. I will never sit back 🗣

I also got permanentely disband because of trying to sell the account which is ridiculous when in fact i got hacked from one of my friends and they tried to sell my account and the [censored] even made a video about selling my account on youtube. I filed a ticket case and told the whole story, provided correct info of my acc and after waiting for weeks because i was really doubting theyd reply me again. Ive waited a whole week just to receive a respond that i wont be able to get my account back again because of trying to sell my account and i already told them a lot of times that i got hacked and the person who hacked my acc was the one who tried to sell my account but all they respond to me is breaking the rules and its in their policy but it wasnt even me who tried to sell my account what kind of logic is that? 2+1= fish? Man id pay to see them go bankcrupt or go down just because.

all i can say is that to the IMVU TOS selling any account, even a friends is illegal and they have the right to ban you. doesn't matter [according to tos] if it is your account or not, they believe you hacked it due to the fact your selling it. you could argue it but you opened the door for disable by using your account to sell it. the chances of getting it un banned are really slim.

I i really didnt know its illegal, , , , and if i would know why would i do it... and if u check my massage when i send it to all i have wrote there account is 4 or 5 years old and i want to sell it... so i was not talking about my account ti was my friends account i was selling and i was helping him cox he asked... i really did know its illagelll please give me one more last chance and give me my account back

my account has been disabled permently, , , , my friend wanted help to sell his account and i helped him.. i wrote msg to all my friends and send to them.. someone flaged me and turned me in... and imvu took my account... i really didnt know that they will disabled me for selling and i even didnt know that selling accounts on imvu is illegal.. if i knew it i wouldnt do it never... please help me get my account back because i am from pakistan and i really cant afford to pay for other new account.. i cut more then 5 tickets to them and they never reply me fair.. it wasnt my mistake i was innocent and friends turned me in... my account is one year old with ap and vip and much more stuff.. i cant afford for new account and vip and ap please help me fast

@Immabigcrybaby - While using those items/sounds is not wrong to use, it depends on a few things.
1. is it your private room or is it a public room?
2. are you alone or others around?
3. are you using them over and over [also called SPAMMING]?

i bought credits with my card(nov.18.2012) and they told me 1-2 buissness days but i never got them now i am (nov.21.2012) and my credits are not here imvu has robbed me.i swear i will sue tis company plz i n.eed my money

I was playing IMVU. And I bought some credits. And then, I couldn't buy any free apps! My mother just got me my allowance, but it's not working. And I couldn't even get all of my purchases restored.

I went to get on imvu and saw that everything I had was not there but I found out that their system was down but I still lost all that I paid for with my credits I think for us waitng for them to get the system back they should also give us credits for the wait and gift us I was highly upset people buy a lot of credits to fix their houses and get their clothing it takes time to get things like this it is not easy how could they do something like this everyone now feels like they wasted their time in getting credits and fixing their avatar just the way they wanted it is not right very upset we should get 20, 000000 credits for the wait they say the sytem should be back up in running within 24 to 48 hrs we will see its been down since sunday I hope they fix this its already a lot of very upset people right now

while this isnt a complaint i will still answer it asif it is. all the rumors about them stealing money, giving you viruses is false. when you break down those complaints that claim this you find they did something wrong, went to a 3rd party site [can give viruses and steal money], or just didnt act appropriate.
is it safe for kids and not scary? cant say there is a place online that meets that criteria. imvu has gone to great lengths to seperate adult and kid access items. it is safe from what i have seen. im a ap member and i have had only 1 issue which was my fault cause i missed info from the promotionary pass i had. otherwise its been fine.

IMVU is the worse site ever.! The customer service is terrible and so are some of the people.! This game is basically a money scam. I was with imvu for 3 years and my account go disabled because I used the wrong password. I may sound bitter.. but I am so upset.! This service is NOT user friendly. IMVU wrongful banning of account

IMVU have banned my account PrncssHeavenofSouls due to payment fraud which was not made by me but by a person called XxSpaceBratxX. They say my account is liked to her account because I made credit purchases from her. Well this is untrue and I have shown as proof to IMVU my paypal statement showing all transactions of credit purchases made from the day I created my account and it clearly shows that I have made all my credit purchases via 2 companies, IMVUX.com and IMVU itself. IMVU have acknowledged that I am not the one who has done wrong but they will not reactive my account until this Brat person pays back the chargebacks. I am being unfairly punished for somebody else's illegal actions and this is not fair as I have paid rl money for AP, name registration etc... for my account and now IMVU have just stolen over 30k credits, all my pending profits and my Ap, my whole account. I want my account back the way it was before they banned it, credits and all along with 300 credits per each day my account is wrongfully shut and profits lost.

I've constantly been banned from IMVU, even when my account was LITERALLY JUST MADE. Like, not even ten minutes after I created my account, I get an email that it was banned for repeated violations. I don't understand where this is coming from but that isn't the first time I have been wrongfully banned.
I've also been banned on TeeHeeDoll for payment fraud when I never did anything wrong with payment. I always paid fully and then one day I just can't log in and it tells me I've been banned for fraud. I need a real explanation because this is happening all too often now.

IMVU safety zero

Imvu is zero securing their users, I've made an account from 3 years called Sally nd i spent alot of money for my avatar nd account, and oncely i fell in fight with a guy who threated me to disable my account if i didnt obey his demands, rapidly i contacted imvu for this situation ?
do u know what happened lol ?
Imvu didnt respond and the guy send me stolen credits while i amnt online and reported me from another user as i use fake Visa, and then my account has been disabled.
i've sent email to imvu about the situation, Easily they replied oh sorry we cann't reactivate your account as am the murder ! how can a big site like imvu dont have the ability to disable recieving credits and they know well this way to disable accounts from unbehaviour users !
Also how imvu dont secure their customers as well ? i cann believe that i've lost more than 3, 000 Dollars on a website that didnt even treat me as a normal client ? and in the end he treats me with this way.

i will tell everyone to never spend money in imvu either not to enter this game or chat ever, and am sure that soon someone will go to the judge and the whole company will be closed soon.

Worse site ever.! The customer service is terrible and so are some of the people.! This game is basically a money scam. I was with imvu for 3 years and my account go disabled because I used the wrong password. I may sound bitter.. but I am so upset.! This service is NOT user friendly. Their isn't even a number to call and talk to a real person.! In order to to get something done it has to be through emails. They refuse to work with customers properly and are extremely terrible. Even the client can give you viruses and make your computer useless.! I don't not suggest this to anyone.! If you like crappy customer service, spending countless money on NOTHING, and like getting viruses this is the service for you.!

IMVU pornography and sexual content

I have to strongly agree with some comments here concerning this company, and am working on things, contacting various agencies concerning imvu. When you have kids on as young as 10 sometimes and others 15 and 16 naked, and porn and sexual themes it is not right or safe.
Complain too much and like one said you get banned, or as they put it disabled and they remove the guy with real life dick showing, but leave the females alone.
THIS is a dangerous place, no email validation needed to join, can make up name and age too and so worst of all predators can simply just join as kid and access the 13 to 17 year old people search.
They can upload what they like, not approved, so porn pics, real life naked pics, as one mid teens seem to do. As for the tag-lines and interests, absolutely disgusting to say the least, vulgar. Only the money that talks, unless enough people, parents stand up, contact Mike Harris, district attorney to go after them, how long will it be before we hear on the news, like with Facebook, that some kid met someone off there and got raped or worse still killed or kidnapped. Totally sickening to say the least.

i cant login to the actual game it keeps saying something about checking my internet connection when it is perfectly good.

that means you gave your password away to someone who is not your friend they logged into your account knocking you offline and/or changed the password to your account. Possibly took your credits if you had any and disabled your account

WTF! My friend asked my password and i gave her and after a few minutes i got crashed and when i tried to log in it said"invalid user name or password" now what does that mean?it is so stupid! Why is my account disabled?! i tried to contact them i filed a help ticket and it says they will try to help me as quick as possible *_*.I'm so ###ed up. its such a lame online game, I'm so upset, i didn't log in for 3-4 days, it does allow me to log in..Its useless to ask help from them! =.= .

password saved when registering and playing for a month was arbitrarily declared invalid . several attempts to log in after getting replacement passwords were thwarted after they too were deemed invalid.. make sure to cancel any subscription arrangements with imvu.
