This is regard to my bad experience with Yamaha service Centre - jain motors bike pvt ltd.
I'm writing this mail over my worst experience with Yamaha Service Center.
I have given my bike for service on 2/6/2018 at jain motors bike pvt ltd - Valasaravakkam,
The service in charge had promised me to deliver my bike on 21/6/2018 but they failed,
followed their commitment changed to 30/6/2018. and i told change all outer look (fiber white --red color) and full proper service also.
then outer look is good but service is very worst no improvement in bike . i spoken to service person they told rotation day it will fine, but it going worst like
front suspendsen make sound, an engine . i paid full amount but why the service like that. I went directly to your Yamaha service
center and checked with the service Incharge, told me that..

yamaha fzs 2018 wobbling problems with the new bike

Hi .. i bought a new yamaha FZS from Paras yamaha showroom in thousand lights chennai, TN. I got this bike after a long struggles, confusions and issues in delivery.. now i have ride around 100 kms in this bike.. the very next day of my bike delivery, i felt that there is a wobble in front wheel.. but i thought it can be low tyre pressure causing this.. but even after i filled the tyre pressure correctly, i can sense the wobblings still.. am a fond lover of yamaha bikes and am very much frustrated i kindly advice you one thing.. please have a quality in the product you manufacture and keep up the trust people have on yamaha..really embarassing.. please suggest me the way this wobbling problem couls be solved.. i want this wobble problem to be solved somehow. When i asked the showroom people they ignored this issue.. but i am very much frustrated with this prblm. Kindly solve this issue.

Sir I own a Yamaha fascino scooter .last week I have given to 3 rd service at holy land service centre, poothota near to vaikom .They barely washed the scooter and may be changed the engine oil perhaps which also I'm not sure.After three days of service I got stucked in the middle of the road as part of starting issue.When I given the scooter to a local workshopman they said that the service was not properly done.They haven't even cleaned the spark plug which was filled with dust and fumes.Also I feel the rust was present Al there on the screw threads.If they have opened the cover below the seat they would have seen the rust and might apply grease.please see this as a major issue with your service centres and I expect a good action from your side.

Okay so I am going to write what's my problem is. Firstly, I want to say I purchased this bike in hurry and it's first time I am buying bike, so I just asked the price and this happened to me -
I purchased Yamaha Fz 25 from Ride on Auto Aligarh on finance and paid around 80000/- as down payment and was told by financer that my tenure will be for 36 months and of 2653. Later I got message from Hdfc about loan approval and I have to pay 2643* 33months.
Financer called me and said pay 3 months difference amount to showroom or me.( FRAUD -1) I called HDFC and they cleared I don't have to pay anything and cancelled my two policies which financer applied on me without Informing (FRAUD -2).
Then I asked Manager Amit about Amount, He said Amount is 144129 included taxes . I said give me in written what's included or what's not in this price. He said I will provide anything in Written.(FRAUD-3)
He took money for Helmet and accessories and still he is not giving me any .
I asked him why you imposed Helmet charges and accessories, He said I have to pay as I already paid that amount to other dealer (JM motors Agra).
I have issues with the bike from 2 day of purchase-
1- Bike starting.
2- Engine Vibrates even in 60kmph and hheats lot
3- Engine feels sluggish and struggling to reach 100.
Later I asked Amit from where he brought the vehicle he said from it's Godown which is 9 kms away from the showroom. And after one month he is telling he purchased from Agar and this bikes come to Aligarh on tempo.
I called Jm motors Agra from where they bought this bike, they told me bike is sent to Aligarh while by riding it.(FRAUD -4).
Distance between Aligarh and Agra is 90 kms, so it's obvious they ride that bike above 80kmp atleast to Aligarh. Because of this my bike is full of vibrations from the first day and gives average below 30.
Second day of my purchase bike is not starting, dealer promised to change it but still they haven't even after first service.
Afterfirst service bike is become worse and bad then Pulsar 220. Overheat, vibrations etc.
Showroom owner is not providing me Bill of anything, I don't have bill for 144129 which is expected from them.
• I need help, I made complaint to your toll free number and they're just playing with me from 15 days and I am not getting any reply.
Help me ...I want complete refund or replacement of my bike at cost. I am not satisfied with this bike and have doubt this is Test drive Vehicle.

Hello Sir, I buy it Yamaha Alpha on last Deepavali on Yamaha offer with tour package and some, but in Yamaha Walter showroom they not issues any offer till day, ok I forgot that all so, But in the Alpha model they some issues on Speedometer sensor problem I told in Yamaha Walter Shower, Rettery
They are response properly for this issues till on this month I drive only 1000km it self, but I given 2nd service on 1st serice they take for one and half month for clear this speedometer sensor problem, but not clear and again I give it back to 2nd service for last 2 weeks but still now they not find out the issues and response me, I already one complaints about this issues, a person call and told he speak about this issues, but no use for me, what can I do for it. My friend also get this problem on Yamaha alpha model speedometer sensor issues.

Today I have given my Yamaha FZ vehicle TN40 C 4716 at Salem service station at10.20 am. Around 3.30pm I received Confirmation for completion of service. I found the bill to be 2100/- but while paying the bill through card the teller claimed that additional 1. 25% will be deducted. I was pulled back after hearing this. On enquiry he confirmed that for card transactions the said additional rate will be applicable and he asked me to confirm with center manager. The center manager also revealed the same. Also added that as they have to pay this rate to bank they are collecting it from customers. On hearing this I was shocked and tempered. I know what real service is! I am a banker and working in service domain. No RBI has made these conditions. And in these 9 years I haven't paid anything extra. This is completely disgusting. Worst service.

I'm Dr. Prithivi raj s/o K. Sampath maharaja (superintendent engineer, TNEB) my mobile number [protected], [protected]. My bike is yamaha fz-S version 2.. Bike number is TN-31 BE-3323. My bike met with an accident and I gave to sairam motors, padi, chennai, Tamil Nadu, India on 20.2.2018. While giving they said applying insurance would delay repair by 20 days and incase of paid service they would service my bike within 4 days.. So I accepted for paid service. But even after 20 days they haven't returned my bike. Every day I call they said that they would return my bike within 2 days and that 2 days increased to 21 days till today. When I called yesterday, they said that bike was made ready and could be delivered yesterday (12.3.18) evening.. So today (13.2.18) when I went to take my bike, they were saying that bike isn't completely ready and they will deliver today evening because fuel indicator isnt working properly.. Its so bad atleast they could have called me and informed me earlier.. Im a doctor, they are wasting my time in my busy schedule, worst customer service.. When we question them for delay, they were saying that each day they were repairing 140 bikes and special care couldn't be given to my bike.

Hi, saruhasan here from chennai. I have purchased fz v2.0 in 2014, exactly in one year time I come across an issue with the chain sprocket were while running it creates a grinding sound near the small sprocket of the chain (Near engine). On a repeated basis I have visited the service center paras yamaha, mount road, chennai also walter yamaha, kolathur, chennai, which was good they tried helping me but even they wouldn't sort out the issue. Every time the bike goes for service while returning the grinding sound starts which is intolerable. This happens almost for two years and still continues. Moreover, due to this, I have changed the chain sprocket, clutch plates but still, it remains. This made me come to a conclusion that I shouldn't buy yamaha products. If, need to continue with the same expecting a solution on an immediate basis. Some periodical basis the rear tyre wobbles but they stated its due to the chain. I am very much scared to drive this bike in rainy seasons and in sandy places. Kindly resolve with care and looking your valuable customer because past three years my service is been done only in yamaha service center (Paras yamaha, mount road). Kindly do the needful asap. would like to put some issues in your knowledge. I bought fzs from Maharajganj showroom dated 25/5/017. Within 2 months of purchase I started facing problem with motobike such as chain sprocket, tire, headlight, front tire ball baring, drum brake. Almost every where I noticed problem after tire chain at your one of your service centre located in Jamal I got bend on my rim too, I have talked to bibek Koju and Mr Yadav regarding all this issues. He helped me out to fix certain things but it was not done professional way after spending whole day at your work shop and had to argue with your staff to let my problem hear. honestly telling very poor customer service experience, not only me many more customers where also very upset with service and P.R. I would like to inform you another things also that my rim was ok before my tire was replaced im 100 % sure. Bcz my tire cracked issue was informed to teku head office they even checked my bike in teku At that point there was no bend on my rim, at Jamal yamaha work shop they replaced my tire. If there was a bend they should have informed me before and after receiving my bike they never did that, next day I did my 4 service at Maharajganj yamaha service centre they also didn't inform me abt bend I came to notice that issue when I revived my bike from service centre, I was surprised when I saw wobling back tire. Due to bend on the rim. And now no body wants to take the responsibility which I don't want to accept at any point. Your service centre are not following the guidelines they charge as per there convinence. Every work shop of yamaha should be inspected to maintain the standard. Voucher base service is very poor. For tire liquid they try to charge me 550. And to replace tire they asked me to pay another 300. At Jamal work shop the product which cost less than 250 at market your service centre charges 550 to 600 for liquid and they even don't provide any warranty for the product . We are forced to buy in double amount this is sign if negligence from your team. Authenticity and genuine parts and other product used in yamaha should be approved by your head office which I found is not happening on ground lmost Every service center. They just don't care to do there own job as per the flow chart provided by your comapny. I would like to put all this issues at your notice because end of the day customer service is very important . Yesterday I have discussed this all issue at teku head office with Mr Ishwar Yadav and Mr Bibek.

Sir, I recently I bought a Yamaha Fzsfi and the recently bike has started to show problems. The bike stopped in the middle of the road for 2 times. The service center is putting a blame on me saying I have to run the bike for 1hr regularly. Now, after buying a bike of Rs 1, 01, 000 if this happens with me repeatedly in middle of an empty road who will take the blame. The service center has already been notified. Now the only option left for me is to approach the consumer forum, for deficiency in service and for cheating the customer by Yamaha motors. I am completely fed up with your disgusting customer service and now the only option left for me is to approach the consumer forum and take a stringent action against you people.

yamaha YBR 110 , manufacturing failure of silencer
I have brought of YBR yamaha Motor cycle on November 2014, Only Two 2 years completed, Now I faced silencer Problem. Its only a manufacturing Problem, I complained number of times to YAMAHA authorised service centre, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District. But they are saying its a manufacturing problem we can't do anything, & refused to replace the silencer. I bought this BIKE by considering that YAMAHA is a great brand but I am so disappointed by this product. .
I am raising this issue to you all to highlight that I am totally fed up of your after sales service. I have decided to approach consumer forum. I have never seen such unprofessional attitude anywhere and yours being a YAMAHA brand, I wanted to raise this issue with you all first to raise that I have a horrible experience of YAMAHA. Please take your manufacturing defect product & REPLACE with new one. Waiting for prompt response.
i had also same problem, i bought it in 2012 ; but i had done it with roadside gas wielder 2 times as silencer costs 7000Rs, i do not know yamaha has no QC with vendors!
Yamaha FZs giving problem in engine and not able to ride in 7 days of purchase

I have purchased the bike(FZ-s) 7 days back, after 1 day i found the cover above the rear tyre was misaligned for the same i consolidate with nearby service centre who asked me to give Rs 100 for one screw which was not found in the bike, after that i am facing the tremendous burning smell from the engine, nor am i able to drive because of heating in the engine after 5 -6 KM. For this i went to the Global Yamaha from where i purchased the bike, they told me that such burning effect is normal in New Bike. i had digest this also. Now I am facing unwanted sound from front tyre and might be some particle accommodate in the rotation part, due to which the tyre is not rotating properly, Global Yamaha is not answering my queries properly. in 7 days of purchasing my bike, i have not ride the bike and facing problem in all sort of things. i really had a bad experience with Yamaha. i was firm believer in Yamaha but by this i will ask all my friends and relatives not to go ahead with Yamaha. Not only this i want Replacement of Bike or my Money Back. Or else i will have to go legal way for the fraud you guys did.
Yamaha worst after sale response
I bought an R15 from Samukh motors, Chennai. This bike has certain problems, which the yamaha service people cannot identify from the beginning of my purchase.[especially the bumpy ride, and the bike which moves towards the right while on drive and also the front break which is ridiculous].Inspite of my frequent visit to the service centre, I am not able to get the service upto my satisfaction. The problems remain with the bike as earlier. I am in a vain...since the problems could not be solved by the authorized service engineers.Rather than solving the problem, they try to convince me that the vehicle is in good condition.They got nearly 6 mechanics.
They are highly trying to hide the problem.They are not ready to open my bike. Ever worst purchase and service experience. I would never suggest anyone to buy YAMAHA product from such dealer, who would never even bother about you or your bike once after getting money from you.
The bike is just 6 month old, of which it was in their showroom for nearly 1 month reg these issues. whenever i say, they ll take for service station, tighten the fork and give back. finally they said that, only an yamaha engineer who would visit their showroom once in a while can see this..later one day, i went to the showroom.on that time, there were all these mechanics, and also the yamaha service engineer whom they mentioned was available there.but they refused to have a look on my bike since, i went without prior appointment. Is this the way an service center would respond? On that day i found that, they knew the problems and are trying to slime away.
Hence raised complaints in yamaha website.but they just enquired in that Service station and said that, "as per service station, no complaints was found during their analysis". Without analysing my bike[because, after raising this complaint, i havent been to service station], they just tried to cheat YAMAHA MOTOR INDIA too as they did to me. Now this bike is standing in my home uselessly. NO WARRANTY, NO GUARANTY ONCE AFTER PURCHASING YAMAHA.this is what happened to me.

i purchased my FZ in April End this year from Emm Pee motors.
Since Day one of purchasing the bike, there was intermittent problems of Mis firing in the engine.
I bought this to the notice of the dealer who adjusted the carburettor settings and told me that the problem was resolved.
However this problem continued. i got the bike serviced from Shaili Yamaha in Panchkula next time and explained the problem to them who did basically the same thing what Emm Pee did.
This time i started facing other issues like starting of engine and abrupt shutting off of Engine at times when the bike is standing.
I spoke to Yamaha helpline and they advised me to get the bike shown to The Dealer in mohali as they had the best mechanic to fix the problem.
But still it wasnt resolved.
Then On your advise, i bought the bike back to Shaili yamaha with an assurance from the dealeryourself that it will be taken care of this time.
I had clearly mentioned the problem of Stalling of Engine at times and starting issues to them, they did some tuning of the Carburettor and adjusted the idle speed etc again and returned the bike to me saying that it was fixed. i did take a trial of the bike and it seemed resolved to me as well.
next morning- i tried to start the engine and it refused to start despite repeated attempts. Finally after using the choke etc, i managed to start the engine again.
I have now lost faith in All dealers as no one seems to be able to fix the problem. I have now stopped using the bike since i think that it might develop problems at any time.
Please escalate this issue to Yamaha and Fix my problem asap . It has been now more than 05 months since the bike has been purchased and i am a bit frustrated after having spent so much money .

This is a complaint against the authorized service station “RIDER’S POINT at Kilimanoor. I did my first free service for my yamaha Ray Z on 08.01.16. They charged me Rs.360/- explaining change of Engine oil, Gear oil & consumables. However, they even didn’t carry out the water wash and told me to bring back after 3 days. When I went there after 3 days, the story was same and up to now, I have not received an answer from them. I’m still afraid whether they did the other services which they claiming did on my vehicle as I have all the problems while riding the scooty which I was experiencing before (giving the scooty to service centre, kilimanoor). I’m completely not satisfactory about their service. Kindly verify the above and revert me.

Raja Sekhar.K I got a vehicle Yamaha fazer… on jan 02 2010 from Sri Srinivasa Automobiles in Visakhapatnam. all my free services has been done by show room guys.., and I left with one fee service due to out of date…. and I request you to all who got new bikes from this show room, bcoz those boys are not working properly at show room servicing… I had so many problems with my bike …. actually I had disk break problem and I gave my bike to show room with my last service….
that show room service mechanic was done only changing engine oil and just clean only top parts of the bike… and he didn’t see the chain adjustment also….after completing the service I take back my bike and I see the problem with same disk sounds… and I noticed that my bike don’t have pick up… then I call back show room service but there is no response… so please take action to that show room service center…

The worst ever experience I have ever had. I am an owner of Yamaha SZ-R. The basic problem for which I gave was for the oiling. The service in-charge( Orion motors, Yamaha, Bangalore) informed me that the bike had a problem with engine and it will cost me around 6-7k. They gave an estimate of Rs 7000/- for the service. I gave my bike on 8th November 2014 and they ask me to come after 3 days. I went on 11th Nov 2014 my bike was on same position, no even touched by any engineer. I asked service in-charge about this he told me we don't have man power to do the work. Now what the hell I should do with his less man power. He asked me to come after two days, I agree on it. Again same result. Now he told me he will call me from front, you don't come again n again. Finally my bike has been delivered to me on 19th Nov 2014. That was my first disappointment with Orion Motors. After few days of riding bike I got same problem on 2nd December 2014. But because of my busy scheduled I wend there on 22 December 2014. I did not tell them that I serviced it recently. And engineer told me same issues whatever last time happened and was asking for same amount. I told him I recently did these fixes and showed him bill also. Then he told me I need to see and talk to my in-charge.I told him to talk in front of me. He did but they were talking in Kannada, I understood some part. He was saying that we already charged for this. Now they again started same game of delaying service. I went there thrice but everyday they are saying few more days. Now today is 07 Jan 2015 and I did not got any call from Orion motors. Its been almost 17 days. I am spending Rs.100 every day to go to my home-office-home. Is Yamaha will take responsibility of this amount. This is not acceptable and this will be taken to the concerned higher authority.

This is a complaint regarding a yamaha dealership situated in Baner Pune . These people have not made any of there correct contact numbers online and we have not yet received the tax registration done of my bike MH14DW6621 which was bought in April 2013 .

its shame for yamaha...that giving authorization to Dealers like Panache enterprise in Indiranagar, Bangalore...thire service people cheated me by changing the Chain of FZ 16..they fitted a duplicate chain without my knowledge and within 20 days i had to change the cahin and the socket...in another dealer... i was on a long ride to native and this madea lot of trouble on the way...they are no 1 cheters..thu... very bad face from yamaha...
SUBSTANDARD PRODUCT AND SERVICE
Yamaha is producing fz16 and other vehicles with components made out of sub-standard design & quality.
1. The mileage is very poor in spite of the fact that most of the parts are made out of plastic material, where as a JAWA / YEZDI, a 250cc vehicle which I was using was giving 45 kms / Litre for many years and even a Kinetic Honda which I was using was giving 55kms / Litre with both had a very good pick that even I used to overtake many RX and travels.
2. The vehicle is not starting using the self starter and it failed within 6 months of usage, in spite of regular service done by the dealer / Service provider Raj Yamaha, Chennai.
3. The brightness of the headlight is poor on most of the days and bright on some time, and there is no answer from the dealer / Service provider Raj Yamaha, Chennai.
4. Shifting the gear from one to the other is very hard to the extent that it damages the leg, near the thump.
5. The vehicle stalls and the engine is switching off while overtaking which is a very dangerous affair to the rider.
6. The vehicle goes to the neutral position when I shift the gear to lower gear at most of the times and to 1st gear when you want to shift it to the neutral.
7. Utmost care is needed when using the kick starter as the rider is forced to fold the right side foot rest thus causing danger as the rider has to push back the foot rest to use the brake pedal.
8. The stand is not withstanding the weight of the vehicle thus deflecting on the self weight of the vehicle causing bend and thus hitting on the ground and there is no answer for this either from India Yamaha motor pvt. Ltd. Or the dealer / Service provider Raj Yamaha, Chennai.
9. There is no safety for the pillion riders as pillion rider is tend to fall from the vehicle from their backside at any point of time.
10. Pillion riders are complaining that they are getting back ache while traveling on this vehicle, because the seat is not wider & longer enough for a person to sit apart from placement of the foot rest that is in a place that induces pain and discomfort to the pillion rider.
11. In spite of pumping air at regular intervals, air pressure is always less in the tyres from day 1.
12. Yamaha dealers always do a worst service, in-spite charging huge amounts.
13. This is the only vehicle in India that there is no safety for the riders as no crash guard/Bar is provided.
14. This is the only vehicle that there is no chain guard which is also unsafe to the riders.
15. Also most of the vehicles in India are coming with out mudguard flap and mudguards with enough length (for the purpose of safety, mudguard should be long enough so that it crosses the centre line of the wheels of the vehicle), which is causing dangers like dirt spraying on the other vehicle drivers like projectiles which lead to eye injury, accidents apart from making the clothes dirty.
16. The handle bar of the vehicle is too soft and will bend even if you drop the vehicle accidentally while you try to park the same using the stand.
17. The company, India Yamaha motor Pvt. Ltd is not responding to the complaints made and do not want to resolve the issues.
18. Dealers of India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd, especially dealers like Raj Yamaha, Chennai, do not have any system, accountability towards the customers and their MD, Rajkumar does not have manners at all and his aim is to only make money without doing any service.
As it has become a threat to the Indian community, all the owners of Yamaha vehicles are requested to join hands and file a suit for relief and damages apart from stressing the government to form an active regulatory body (like NABCB which is really doing a wonderful job under Mr.Venkatraman and not the one like TRAI, which has allowed the sale of sim cards of service providers till the date of closure without insisting for withdrawal from the market) so that to make rules, regulations and norms for the mileage as it is the need of the hour, approval & disapproval of vehicles / Each & every component to ensure quality, in terms of cost, road worthiness, mileage, safety and reliability.
I have bought my fz16 on 5th jun2012 and my friend has bought another model and from day 1 we are also experiencing most the above problems. My complaint no. is IC10963 & it has been over 40 dayz now ... tht i hve complaint'd for my r-15's fuel pump replacement 2 my local dealers as my bike hasnt even crossed its frst anniversary & yet its fuel pump is giving me problems !
M totally frustrated with the customer care agents as well as my local dealer .. as they always have conflicting excuses !
All i wanna know is WHERE CAN I COMPLAINT ABT THE CUSTOMER CARE SERVICES TO YAMAHA ! AS WELL AS GET A COMPENSATION FOR MENTAL ANGUISH & THE NEVER ENDING WAIT I AM FACING !

spare part availibility
I am a proud owner of yamaha fazer. i purchased the vehicle from hilton yamaha, ulloor, Trivandrum, Kerala. i am giving the vehicle for regular servicing at the mentioned franchisee and was
satisfied with their service. My bike is having a major complaint for its chain sprocket. On 23rd of AUG 2011, i gave it for repair and service at hilton motors, ulloor and they promised me to deliver the vehicle on sat 27th of AUG 2011. i contacted the franchisee and was shocked to know that the chain sprocket spare part is not available with them.
Now, coming to the main subject of my mail. I want to ask the yamaha authorities " If you are the leading bike producers and developers in india and people like me suffer from not getting even the spare parts for your recently launched vehicle, how can u satisfy a customer or meet the expectations and capture the mind of persons like me? "
i am not the only person facing this crisis. i have come to know about the same problem from my frnds too. let me tell you that you being the leading bike company, its a letdown from your side and these type of problems will definitely affect the goodwill of your company.

miliage problem in sz-x bike
Dear sir,
I have purchased the Motor cycle from the akar yahmah from jaipur dealer for yamaha bikes.
the milage mentioned in broucher is Yamaha SZX 150. Mileage is around 60 KMPL (50-60 KM/L) i am getting only 33 to 37 km/ltr . so for three service was done but no improvements. the service people are only giving false excuses. please send solution immediately.
if u are not giving me any reply for this query then i will go for legal action.
